We just arrived in the Houston Bay Area today and really needed a new mattress (we opted not to move the old one). We tried a few other mattress stores but they didn’t have anything in stock. One call to Kevin at Mattress Zone and he immediately hooked us up with a great deal and when he learned that we wouldn’t have a bed to sleep in tonight, he offered to close shop a little early so he could deliver our new bed tonight!! I just purchased an S&F mattress set on my second visit to the store. I would have purchased on the first visit but needed to decide between 3 models and do some measuring. Best buying experience ever, no pressure and totally helpful. Both days both representatives were well informed and accommodating to my needs. And its a family owned business so I bought locally, which I really liked.

Excellent customer service! I gave Kevin a price range I wanted to stay in. He showed me mattresses at the lower end of my price scale instead of heading right for the top price. Left there with a matress and box spring very happy !

I cant speak to the prices or how good of a value I got because in all honesty, I didnt shop around. The reason I chose to purchase my mattress here was because the salesman was friendly and he gave me an opportunity to try a bunch of different mattresses without hovering or pushing me to make a purchase. Additionally, after the sale when I wasnt 100% satisfied he made a significant effort to fix the situation and ensure I was happy. Id recommend this store.

Went in and told the gentlemen what I was looking for and my price range. Did not waste any of my time trying to sell me on something I wasnt looking for. I was in and out within 20 minutes. The mattress I purchased was in his warehouse... like most other mattress stores, only his warehouse is 5 minutes away instead of the North side of Houston like every other store I had been to previously. Very great customer service. Will purchase again in the future.

In the past I have always assumed the bigger mattress chains would be the best choice for purchasing a mattress and really wondered how the “little guy” competes with them. After hearing from a friend what a great experience he had purchasing a mattress from here I had to go check them out for myself. Boy was my friend right! Kevin was super knowledgeable and never was pushy and did everything he could to accommodate us. He helped me understand the differences in some of the mattresses I was interested in and while I was originally looking at a more expensive mattress he convinced me that another similar model was a much better value for just about the same comfort. What kind of sales man is honest enough to tell you not to buy the more expensive mattress? It was almost closing time when I made up my mind so I told him I would come back in the morning. When I did, I was in and out in about 15 minutes. My wife and I are extremely happy, not only about our new mattress but the great experience we had shopping for one. Would highly recommend this place for your next bedroom furniture or mattress purchase. Spend your money here where you know your money stays local while supporting the little guy.

Dealt with the owner on a tempurpedic pro adapt. He was very welcoming and informative even though we showed up 10 min before close. He stayed late and made us a deal we couldn’t refuse. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

I would definitely recommend shopping at Mattress Zone. It is a locally owned small business and the owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the mattresses. Delivery was a couple of days later with no problems. We are very pleased!

I had an amazing experience at Mattress Zone. The owner was working when I was there and he really cares about his customers. I told him about how a pipe had busted over my bed and soaked it. I dried it as much as I could and had been sleeping on it for a couple of months after. I knew I really needed to get a new one for health reasons and he made sure that I left that day with a new mattress. He was very concerned about my health and did everything in his power to make sure I got a good deal and received the mattress that same day. If I ever need a mattress again this will be where I will go.

Kevin was very helpful and VERY patient with my 90 yo father and 80 yo mother. It was hard for them to relax on the beds, so Kevin gave them their space and let them take their time. He even provided extra pillows and a step stool. I wasnt there to buy a mattress for myself, but I bought an ultra plush pillow top as one of my Christmas prez! Delivery was as scheduled and the delivery guys were very efficient and courteous. I will definitely recommend Mattress Zone to everyone I know!!

I walked in here Memorial Day Monday to get a guest bed. Kevin welcomed us and showed us exactly what we were looking for. My mother was coming in to visit that day and we needed the bed. Were sitting here completing the sale process now and are very happy. Kevin, one of the owners, greeted us warmly, read us correctly, and let us shop at our own pace. We left to try Mattress1, spent 5 minutes there, and turned right around to come back here. Good selection, nice showroom, clean even after being open a year and a half (I find mattress places can often be really grimy). Good price on a bed that meets both our needs, and being delivered in 3 days. Will update if we have any issues, but I dont anticipate any. These guys are amazing. I was in and out in 10 minutes, found the mattress we needed and when I told them I really needed it that day and their trucks were booked, they made arrangements to bring it over a couple of hours later in the owners personal truck. This was our second purchase there and we have been super pleased with customer service, prices, delivery, and community service. We love this place!

I have nothing but great things to say about Mattress Zone! Let me start off by saying that Ive only owned Ikea mattresses for the last 12+ years. George was very helpful and made the buying experience enjoyable. He didnt hound me, make me feel pressured or make me feel stupid for not knowing what kind of matress I liked. Instead he let me do my own thing and was readily available to answer any questions I had. He listened to what I had to say instead of spitting out a sales ad to me and I greatly appreciate it. DO NOT BUY PILLOWS FROM THERE! If you are unhappy with your pillows, there is no return policy. I just spent $130 on pillows that are sitting in my closet, bc they hurt my back. They do have a return policy on mattresses though. So I guess your skin cells, perspiration and body fluids dont matter then. You are better off buying pillows from any other store, like Macys or even Amazon. I gave them 4 stars bc we are happy with our mattress and the guy who helped us was nice.

He carries all (realistic) prices of mattresses - and if you tell him your budget up front - he wont try and push you above it. In a world of pushy and greedy salesmen, it is refreshing to meet a business owner that actually LISTENS to the customer.Beyond the mattress trial experience, Kevin will work with you for delivery times, and if you have the pleasure of going back into the store becuase you want to edit or buy something else - dont be surprised if he remembers your name.To sum things up, any future mattress or other bedding purchase we need to make will be shopped at Mattress Zone. Our families experience started a little less than a month ago when I needed a new mattress. My sister told me that the place around the corner was having a sale and I should check it out. So I went around the corner and there was Mattress Zone and inside was a very nice man named Kevin DaBaldo. I told him I was looking for a queen size mattress as I had just purchased a platform bed and he quickly went to work helping me out. He asked all the right questions, whether I liked firm or soft and patiently waited as I went around testing almost every mattress in the place. After making my selection he quickly processed my purchase and told me I could get delivered that day! THAT DAY! So I went home and waited. And in a very short time the nice young men had come and delivered my dreamy new Sealy mattress. But my story doesnt end there, my mother had been told by a doctor to get a firm mattress because her back had been hurting. She did as told and purchased a twin (really a twin) firm mattress. She hated it, my mom is all about the cushy and so when she tested mine out she gave me a little look like oh this is heavenly (which it is). I started talking to her about purchasing her own new mattress in a full size as we had just gotten a new puppy and he had taken to sleeping with her. The process was a little slow, she is 88 and kinda stubborn, but I weakened her down and she agreed! So back we go to see Kevin and he again was very patient with mom and let her decide which she wanted. When it came time for box spring options mom was a little unsure as too which she would like and ended up with a one inch (yes they make them) box spring called a bunky board. When the nice young men delivered her bed they were the height of helpfulness, they carted her old bed off and set up the new one. She had thought she would need a new metal frame but when the men looked and hers that she had they told us that it could be stretched from the former twin size up to the full size (who knew). They put the box spring and mattress in place and it looked a little low to me but mom thought it would be ok. The next morning she told me she thought her bed was a bit low and when we were at the grocery store we saw Kevin and told him the situation. He informed us that there was indeed a five inch option and he also had to refund us the price of the frame. After shopping and putting the groceries away we went back to the store to see Kevin. He refunded the price of the frame and set up delivery of the new box springs and less than an hour later it was delivered. No fuss at all. Such a wonderful experience for the both of us.
