We love this place & its a regular spot of ours for an ice cream fix. The lady who helps us is always friendly & they now sell the great American cookie cakes etc. You cant go wrong with the sweet cream or birthday cake flavors. The boys love the blue cotton candy flavor with sprinkles or gummy bears added. The coffee & cookies-n-cream shakes are good too.

It had been a long day and I was looking forward to some Marble Slab on the way home. As more than one other reviewer said, as soon as I walked in the door, dirty water and cleaning products were the first things that I smelled. I walked up to the counter and noticed the woman was cleaning the stainless doors under the counter on the back wall. She mumbled something over her shoulder and kept cleaning. I stood there so long that I thought maybe she said were closed and I just didnt hear her or something. After waiting close to 5 minutes for her to stop what she was doing, she finally turned around and asked what do you want without ever making eye contact. I told her that I was torn between cheesecake and sweet cream and asked if I could please try the sweet cream. She told me that they dont offer samples. Since when does Marble Slab not offer samples? I told her that weve been coming there since it opened and have always gotten samples. She responded back well Ive been here since the beginning and weve never given samples. I decided to go ahead and get the sweet cream and the flavor that my wife wanted. Once she finished making our cones I realized that she had never washed her hands after cleaning. She quickly threw themtogether, including packing excess ice cream on the outside of the cone. She actually made mine with a broken cone. It was still 30 minutes until closing, but it was very obvious that she wanted me gone so she could finish cleaning and go home. She carried on a conversation with her coworker in a foreign language for much longer than any communication with me, which was extremely rude. There are other places to get ice cream, and another Marble Slab not too terribly far away where the service is MUCH better.I will never step foot in this location again, and would strongly suggest that others do the same. We work hard for our money. We need to spend it with a business that cares about us as customers.

I was disappointed in the flavor of my ice cream and it had ice crystals in it. The staff was friendly and helpful, however. Probably, if I had complained, theyd have offered me another choice

I have to apologize the phone must have accidentally push your accounts to your ice cream business and they put other pictures on another website that was supposed to be for another company. The other pictures came from Bahia Cove

We went for a late night treat and it was soooo good!! You can get just about any ice cream/topping combination that you can think of! My husband got strawberry shortcake and I got cheesecake ice cream with graham cracker and Oreo mixed it....bomb!!!

Update: Apparently they respond and act concerned and ask you to contact customer service for sake of appearance. I emailed customer service as they requested below and even included my phone number and received no response from them.We used to love this location, but it has really gone down hill in service. First of all, as soon as you enter the door youre smacked in the face with the awful smell of mothballs. Thats just gross in a food establishment. On February 20th I went to pick up a cookie cake in the middle of the day and the door was locked. There was another customer already there frantically knocking on the door and calling the store number. A man finally came and let us in with no explanation about the doors being locked. It was weird. Today I took my daughter for an after school treat. I got a waffle cone and wanted one scoop of two different flavors one on top and one on bottom. The menu says unlimited mix ins but the employee said both flavors would have to be mixed together and share the same mix ins. What is the point of getting two flavors if theyre just going to be mixed together? I told her I get the same exact thing everytime at two other local locations as well as this location normally everytime I go, but she wouldnt budge. It was ridiculous. You would think with all the businesses suffering from the pandemic they would be going the extra mile to give good customer service, but not this location. Sadly, we wont be back there. We will choose the other League City location where they are always nice and friendly and smells like ice cream.

Staff not wearing facial covering. Kicked us from table before closing time. Ice cream was good but pricey.

I took my family here walked in the door at 7:45 knowing they closed at 8 the woman had all ready cleaned everything ant told us all we could have was just ice cream with no toppings!! We were there to reward our 4 year old daughter, we were able to talk the woman server who I presume was the owner being a middle aged adult into sprinkles only on her ice cream. However the rest of the group did not get anything due to the server limiting our selection and being short with us. This is disappointing that we have businesses like this in my hometown! I will not be going here again. I will also steer as many people away from this place as I can!

I was served melted sweet cream ice cream, and the dipped white sprinkle cone was stale. Terrible ice cream, do not recommend this Marble Slab location.

My first time at Marble Slab - it was delicious!! The staff was friendly and helpful! it was a bit expensive for an ice cream cone, but overall worth a try!

My wife found a something like a rock in the dark chocolate ice creaam. The manager did not even apologize. Just offered another ice cream. It seem like she did not care.

I wish there was a good ice cream place nearby. The service is slow at this Marble Slab and the place constantly smells like cleaning chemicals. Go anywhere else, this place isn’t worth it.

Love this place especially during this heat! It is located by the big Walmart on 646. It is surrounded by several restaurants including 5-Guys and Freebirds, and a gumbo place. The will serve you ice cream and a variety of delicious flavors or add your favorite mixing. You can also have ice cream packed to go or even purchase a nice ice cream cake for your special occasion. There is not a lot of seating but wow what great ice cream.

My experience was horrible! I ordered a small waffle bowl with sweet cream ice cream and they put such a minute amount. The guy Edgar was very rude and kept saying rude things to me. I asked for a manager and he told me the manager comes in at different times. I asked him to call the manager and he told me no. I bring my kids here weekly but I WILL NEVER RETURN! Pure rudeness!! DONT COME TO LEAGUE CITY LOCATION!

They clean their mixing slab early so if you come 30 mins before closing you can’t have anything mixed into your icecream. Service is slow. They tried charging me $5 extra to have cookie dough mixed into my icecream. It either no toppings or a giant up charge for unlimited toppings.

One employee was VERY rude! Completely skipped serving my daughter and myself to serve the people behind us in line. We will never go back!
