Stephanie was very rude and disrespectful if I could give a zero I would but I have to give 1 star. They preach great customer service and that they’ll help out and go above and beyond for excellent service to customers and she did the exact opposite, my mom went to help change her battery because her car wasn’t turning on unless it got a jump, she went and spent 200$ on a new battery and bolts only to get yelled at and witness Stephanie yelling and being rude to her coworker for helping my mom out, he was embarrassed and my mom had a horrible experience after I had recommended her to go there! I own a business on Broadway and I will not be telling people to go there anymore at all. I am going to file a complaint to corporate. I actually called and asked if it was possible to get a battery changed and Stephanie answered the phone and said yes except not at night then I mentioned how my mom was there around 5 pm and was denied help and she got all upset when I mentioned that lady was my mom and I wanted to file a complaint and she hung up.. I called back and nobody knew anything about who was the manager in charge and suggested I just call in the morning. Thankfully my cousin works at another auto zone and is going to help me make this right, it’s not right to have people treated that way especially if they are preaching great customer service and that’s not being given..

Came in today and the front desk clerk was very rude and disrespectful towards I. I asked her about a gear shift nob light bulb, and she just couldnt understand what was it. I guess she didnt understand the English language. I explained to her that stick nob that reads:PRNDL that has a small light bulb, that you can see what levels of driving the vehicle especially when is night time. She still didnt understand. So, I told her never mine, I go somewhere else. As I was walking towards the exit door 🚪 I heard her talking to the other workers and laughing at me. Thats very rude manner. I will never go back to this autozone. Bad 👎 bad service 😑

1 guy (wenches) was very helpful, but they didnt have all the stuff I needed. The rest of the people seems lost. Gave them 4stars for having a clean place and 1 helpful worker.

My car wasnt starting and I knew what piece I needed and was completely overwhelmed. I went into get the part and was immediately put at ease by the most wonderful employee Jennifer. She was very knowledgeable and kind and helped me find exactly what I needed. You have a wonderful employee in Jennifer and I cant thank you l enough. U can get exactly what you want and with such kindness. Made me a lifetime customer for sure.

I waited forever! They need more staff if its that busy... But they were nice.

Today was the third time in the last year that I visited. I say visited because I left once again empty handed.It seems they have such a bare minimum of stock. I have a 2011 Toyota, not exactly a rarity. One time it was headlight bulbs, another it was an oil filter. Today was an air filter and a cabin filter. Never have the parts I need in stock.Try somewhere else first, youll save yourself time and frustration.

I dont know if maybe it was close to closing and they were probably just eager to close or I just caught them both at a bad time, but both of the two female workers working that night werent much help for me when I asked them if they carried only that one brand of assembly lube that I so happened to find myself. Im just gonna go with, it was close to closing and cut them some slack. I know how it is when its close to closing time bcuz, been there. No one likes that customer that shows up minutes till closing time, cuz I sure didnt!!

I visited the store yesterday looking for parts. Confused and lost and a friend came up to me and helped. He was knowledgeable and patient with helping me. We had to get a battery changed and Drew was super helpful in getting the battery swapped. He was friendly and made sure we were good and had what we needed since the car battery continually crapped out several times through the day beforehand.

Employee Jennifer is very knowledgeable and has excellent customer service. Was very helpful and made sure I had everything needed.

The crew is so amazing they went out of their way to help me. I had bought a battery from a different Autozone in El Cajon that not only gave me the wrong battery, but did not include my warranty, which ended up being bad after 4 months of use. This was brought up by the staff and they did their absolute best to help resolve my problem and they did. Excellent customer service, this will be the only one I go to from now on.

Came in for a motorcycle battery and was given the wrong battery. Wasted 20 minutes at the counter with employee looking and it wasn’t even the right size. They have no clue what they are doing.

I gave them a hundred dollars for a part that cost 7$ and they had me waiting for 15 min I got frustrated and demanded my money back and left

The service is no good only had 2 cash registers and the other employees were doing something else must of been important but what is more important than the costumers several people left before I did then I had enough and then I left, the employees had no concern for all the costumers that were waiting.

I remember when Autozone bought out Chief Auto Parts. They never were automotive knowledgeable. They put in computers and got low payed employees who knew how to do basic computer lookup. Ask the what the average compression on an engine should be and they gave you a blank stare. Soon all the other chains followed suit. ORiellys, Carquest, Napa... Its what auto parts is now. Fast food. McDonalds should just buy them.out and make it official. I long for the days when a Counterman was a retired mechanic or a DIYer who knew the difference between a Torque Wrench and an Offset Wrench... now I just look up my own parts and get them online or at ORiellys or Carquest. I went here today because I was doing a job a block away.Why the review?... I went to this autozone today and spoke to someone who shouldnt be in a parts store... go apply at Walmart. Courteous service...absolutely no automotive knowledge.I just saw that I got a reply to my review...Thanks for the reply. To be fair, its not just Autozone... its pretty much all of them.Please teach your people... I called about a loaner tool. 27031 is the number. A PS pulley remover. I called about it 2 days ago, then again today. 2 days ago I was told it was already out. Today I was told that autozone doesnt carry that tool anymore. I called the store on Seetwater in Sp Valley. Thiers was out too, but Paradise Valley Rd had one. So what is it... you carry them or you dont??Just so you know... I went to oriellys.. they had 3. I just bought one so I can stop wasting my time with Autozone. Your store is 1 block from my house. And I have to go almost a mile down the road to get what I need.

Terrible customer service from Ulysses. Employee was stocking and the store was not busy. I asked him to if I could get help with my check engine light, at first he acted like he didn’t know what the check engine light was. Then just handed me the code reader and said bring it back when your done. I’ve always had the employee come outside and and read the code for me. After I checked my own Engine light, I went back to see the code, and he printed out the code and just threw it in the counter. Didn’t even hand it to me, very rude. I just walked out and he then just stares at me thru the window like he wanted to fight. Get this guy out your store ASAP!

Super helpful with advice on what I should do and what part I need for my 1975 Dodge Dart. Im glad there are workers here who know what they are talking about. Big shout out to the man George for really helping me and giving advice on my car since the 1975 Dart is my first car not too much info online about specific older cars like mine.

Needed a few things for the church van

Service was acceptable, but really showed a lack of care when asking for some additional information on a small $ item, if they would have been a bit more helpful or atleast gave it the added effort, I would have spent the $700 on parts for my truck while there at not had to make the trip to oreillys....

Couldnt help change a light bulb other locations dont mind. These guys are just fat and lazy

I dont usualy write negative comments about places, but I came here to change the wipers of my car and I ask Taylor W for the product the guy just direct me to the area given me the sides of the wipers without even try to go with me since I didnt have idea about it and was the only person on the store then I ask him about how to change then, he said well if you have a smartphone just check in YouTube I was ok thank you, never heard a your welcome or anything similar lol, great customer service.

Im an Autozoner from San Antonio (Store 1384) wanting to keep up to date in my quarterly test, Requested permission to use DOC, the personnel at the store immediately let have access to there equipment. The made me feel like a part of their store. Thank you. My daughter let me use web.

Greatest place to pick up the parts you need. Always seem to have the right things and a fair price.

Hit and miss on customer service. It helps if you go on their website and get all the part numbers you need. If you make a mistake you can blame yourself.

I usually use this Autozone since its nearby and I work on my own car and bike. Today I went to get some freon and the cashier told me theres a $10 core fee on top of the charge which is usually how it goes. And i just simply looked at her and she rudely said California state law sooo and with her body language, I literally changed my mind on the spot and told her I didnt even want it anymore. Gwenn needs an attitude check or a new job because as a customer Ill never go back there.
