Went in there with a general idea of what I was looking for but was still so unsure of what I needed for my wife. Ryan took the time to understand and listen. He was also empathic to her diagnosis and had some thoughts not only for the current state but what we might need in the future. He really worked to make sure we were happy with the purchase without putting any pressure on us to decide. It was probably the least intimating car buying experience Ive ever had.

I am new to a wheelchair and this is my first experience purchasing a van. It is very different from buying a car. Theres a lot of complexity and it can be very confusing. Thankfully, Ryan was able to walk me through all of the issues and explain everything fully. I got exactly what I wanted at a fair price. I would definitely recommend United Access in Lenexa.

They are wonderful. They work to help you get what you need and make sure you understand how to work your lift, van or whatever accessories to help you get mobile again.

I first spoke with the service department who asked me to bring the car in to see about a false floor and pedal extenders for our son with dwarfism. I made the appointment and drove over an hour to be told that he needed a driving evaluation after he has been driving for 2 and a half years. I was given some insurance verbage which was not correct regarding liability and still told to schedule the driving evaluation. The GM also informed me that he only installed such requests twice and could not find any information on what we were asking for. Luckily, the driving evaluation person I contacted recommended another company, Mobility Works, and said that our son did not need an evaluation since he was already driving. Mobility works came up with up with a perfect solution right over the phone and he will have his floor and pedals installed in a week!

Very friendly people. We were treated well. They worked with us to get what we needed. Its a great place for any mobility need you have for a vehicle.

United access has been so good to us! i trust them and know that they are working in our best interest. we recently had a new lift put in a Ford conversion van...they did a great job, fair price and have taken great care to make sure were on the road again. highly recommend this company. This is a very friendly, considerate company. On two occasions, they have repaired the Bruno Lift I use to get my scooter out of the van. Even though the equipment was purchased in another city several years ago, they made the simple repairs for no cost!

I rented an accessible van from United Access for the weekend. United Access was great to work with. They took care of all the information they needed to collect from me over the phone, so when I picked up the vehicle, it took only a few minutes. Everything was ready to go. They are courteous, friendly and professional and I will rent from them again.

Was having issues with my lift, went in and got Excellent customer service from Jordan! He was so friendly and knowleldgeable and made the experience great!! Found and corrected the issue in 5 mins!! Totally recommend this location!!

My rating of your business still stands. thanks! my husband bought a van from this place. a brand new van and Braun Lift 4-5 months ago from Transit Works KC. Sept 9th our BRAND NEW BRAUN lift broke on one side. Transit Works gets us ahold of Braun and Braun get us ahold of United Access Lenexa. We have a 2 year warranty on the lift. That’s whyI bought brand new.Sept 10th United Access looks at our BRAND NEW broke lift and says “we need to order parts and they will be in the next week”. Fast forward to next week I’ll call and the service manager, and he is out sick which is understandable, but the next guy up tells me “I think all your parts are in”? And we schedule the fix for Sept 25th.It is now Sept 24th I call United Access and they say “yes bring the van in”. I ask to talk to the service manager to double check and he says all the parts are not in. That the parts shipped today (14) after the fact and they should be in Sept 26th and then will go from their. Mind you this is 4:30pm the day before I’m suppose to take the van in.We are a small business I had to pay other firefighters to work my shifts to cover our patients wheelchair runs with another van. I also had to have employees/firefighters not come in because our van was not done with a false timeline.Fireman Transport donates a percentage of our earnings to Children’s Mercy and the DAV disabled American Veterans. We’ve lost Thousands dealing with this situation.Good thing I called and not just shown up on the day we scheduled to get the van fixed. I already told one employee not to come in, because the van would be in the shop. I didn’t get a heads up the parts weren’t in or even a simple apology for the confusion.

Very patient while we figured out exactly what we need. I feel like we got the vehicle and equipment that will let us for what we want to do. Chad, who I worked with, is knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor.

Our experience was very positive. We were given extra help in training for the use of our equipment even to the point of the representative traveling to a location of our choice to demonstrate to several care givers.

Ive been using United Access since 2006, would highly recommend. We have bought our 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan, through them with a Braun Entervan conversion and it has been a very reliable vehicle. I had an ezlock installed and I will be taking it back to hopefully add driver hand controls later this year. I would highly recommend.
