Prices are not as good as they used to be and selection seems smaller. You can get good deals but you have to know prices and be diligent in searching.

I love Big Lots, I cant help it. Theres always something in here worth looking at. They have discounted unique foods and drinks which I dig. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Bought this chair on the last visit, its super comfortable for the purpose in which Im using it.

I recently purchased a Sectional Sofa for my first new home from Big Lots in Lenoir City, TN. The gentleman working in the furniture department assisted my teenage son on loading it onto the truck and strapping it down. It was a rainy day and I asked the gentleman if he thought it would be safe stacked inside top of each other and should I close the tail gate. He stated that it would make it with no problem to Maryville just as is. We trusted him and his recommendations. We started home with my brand new couch. It didn’t make it two miles before the couch piece on top fell off and damage the couch. We were on a bridge and had to run in the rain to carry it back to the truck. The only people I had with me was myself (female), my teenage son, and my grandmother. While I understand that Big Lots has no responsibilities for the merchandise after purchase, I would think that if their staff assisting in loading and assuring a woman that the merchandise is loaded safely...they would accept some responsibility. I have contacted the store and have received no response from the store manager. I have spoken to the district manager Mr. Young. He stated he would see what action could be taken and would call me back in a few days. That has been two weeks ago and I have not received a call back from anyone at Big Lots. I have tried to call Mr. Young again and he is not responding.I will not purchase anything there again, mostly because of the unprofessionalism and terrible customer service.

I was able to come to big lots and get a broyhill sectional and new mattress set for under $2000. Associates were very helpful and friendly.

Staff was very nice. Serenity waited on us and was sweet. The retired railroad gentleman that now works there was very nice and helpful.

Ive been shopping here since this store opened. Today (12/22/17) I had the pleasure of dealing with Jeff, the so called assistant manager, who cant comprehend that a $20 off $100 or more total coupon should apply a $20 discount and not a $13 discount. Even the cashier understood but he refused to adjust it. I was told there was nothing he could do. Incompetence at its best!Update: I returned to the store today (12/23/17) and spoke to the Store Manager Lane. He was very apologetic about how it was handled and made the adjustment. I received my $7 refund that I was overcharged the previous night. I changed my review up to a 5 star because prior to this incident there was never an issue and the actual manager was quick to fix the issue. The store manager here is a very nice gentleman and behaved very professionally.

Really can find some great deals there. I like a lot of theor items. Some DVDs do not work though.

Big lots has a large variety of close out products at reasonable prices. They even have a nice furniture department. The staff at the Lenoir city store are very knowledgeable and friendly and make shopping a pleasure.

Apparently clearance stuff is optional when it makes it to the register. Good luck selling Halloween stuff a month after its over so you can make a dollar. And the managers are douches

Customer service is non-existent they go on and on about a store card but you have to give them all your info right then and people are waiting behind you. If you had a card before then they want to know why you didnt report it lost its a big ordeal to just check out and the selection and prices are not that impressive. I personally am at the point its not worth going in that store Ill go to one of the other stores in town that dont act like you are there and annoying

We went to buy a new bed and we found a great deal on the bed my wife preferred . Marty was assistaning us with a purchase and we found out there was an advertisement error on the bed we wanted. I was persistant with the other price we originally saw and he called a manager over and they gave us the price difference of the signing error. Very nice. Thank you guys!
