Went in recently to replace a battery for my Kia. The associate that sold me the battery was basically just making a sale because he let me walk out with the incorrect tools to do the job. Had to have a random man in the parking lot I was stuck in help me because I needed metric tools. When I finally went back to return my core battery, I spoke to a more knowledgeable associate who sold me the correct tool for the job. I ended up keeping the other tools anyway because you never know when they will come in handy. But I could have been saved a lot of time had the original associate cared enough to make sure I knew what I needed and was buying the right thing.

On Aug. 16th, I went to this auto zone to pick up a stoplight switch for my Honda. I should have double checked the part better when I was given it, but it looked good so I left. The switch did NOT have the spacer that is needed for my vehicle. I thought maybe it didn’t come with it but, upon looking at the photo listed on Autozones website, it should have come with it. On August 17th, I called the store and spoke with an associate about the issue. While on the phone, she grabbed another switch from the back to check if the spacer was included in that one. It was. I explained that without the spacer, my brakes were completely locked up so I would be unable to pick it up immediately, but could get it later in the evening when I had a ride. She said that she would let her manager know as she wouldn’t be there. I went around 6:30 to get the complete part and something else. They were out of the other item that I needed, but that was fine— it happens. However, when I started asking about the stoplight switch, the associate I was speaking with wasn’t sure what I was talking about so he called over another employee to help. The second employee barely let me speak before telling me that the piece I was talking about would need to be purchased separately. I told him that was incorrect per the website and another associate I’d spoke to earlier in the day. He repeatedly spoke over me until I suggested pulling up the part within their database to show me that I was incorrect. However, once it was pulled up by the other associate, the rude employee disappeared into the back for a minute. He returned with a small plastic pouch with the exact piece that should have been included with my part, threw it on the counter at me, walked away, and glared. Honestly, even if I was wrong, it seems like there could have been a better way to respond. IF I had been wrong, I would have been willing to pay however much for a tiny plastic piece to make the part work.

I have been going here awhile and a lot of times they give me the wrong parts and it is getting super old and annoying and a waste of my time cause I have to keep running back and forth to get the right parts I dont recommend this place for getting any parts especially if you want the right parts.

I went into the Lenoir store after making a phone call to ask a question. Im not sure of the mans name that helped me. Im pretty sure I saw store manager on his name tag. He was wonderful. He went above and beyond to explain things to me. It was definitely welcome to be treated as a customer and not some female. I wanted to say thank you and I hope he gets the recognition that he deserves.

Go to advance or any other car parts AutoZone have some of the disrespectful people to call their selfs mangers.

Previously stopped by Advance Autoa was told that they would not put the bulb in or help me get the little housing out to put the bulb in even though they say that they will. I have a form of MD so with my hands its impossible for me to do it. Came over to AutoZone and a gentleman named Vernon did not make me feel like the hindrance to him that advance Auto did. Will definitely come back!!!

I took a Battery an dropped it off to be charged after a few hrs. I went back to pick it up and change out the old one in my car with the fully charged one ...Welllll come to find out the battery was never even put on the charger or was checked to see if it was charged before they gave it back to me...So here I am in the pouring rain with a completely dead battery one guy who works there just acted like he couldnt be bothered with helping me and went back inside ...THANK GOD FOR THE JONATHAN S. That works there !!! Not only did he check the battery and figure out that it was NEVER charged he stood out in the rain and put it back in the car for me so my son And I could get home So HUGE THANK YOU TO THIS MAN FOR GOING OUT OF HIS WAY FOR US while his other coworker just walked back in and left me stuck in the parking lot with no battery 😕

Needed new windshield wipers. The staff got us what we needed and the staff put the windshield wipers on for us. Friendly staff.

Stopped here on 5/29/18 and bought windshield wipers. I ask the guy who rang me up to please put them on for me and while it was raining out it wasnt storming, just raining. And the guy looked at me and said I resign. I thought he was joking around for a second but then he grabbed his jacket out from underneath the counter and went out the door, jumped in his car and proceeded to squall tires out of the parking lot!! By the way this guy was wearing mascara and eyeliner. Lol. I was blown away but couldnt do anything but laugh hysterically. Wow. Another employee stepped up and went out in the rain and had them changed in less then 30 seconds. Kudos to him!! So if you go to any parts store and need wipers make sure its not raining and that the guy you ask to put them on for you isnt a nappy headed white guy wearing eye liner and mascara and you should be okay. Still laughing about the whole thing. What a world we live in!!

If youve ever been in any Auto Zone theyre pretty much all the same and its usually the people that make the difference and Ive never had any issues with the Auto Zone in Lenoir or the one in Granite Falls, I would recommend either store both have helpful and knowledgeable employees.

I went on autozones website & fount the clutch kit i needed.So i call the lenior store & told the woman what i was needing & that i wanted to make sure they had one in the store or if i needed to order one. She told that they had one therein the store.She took my name & number and put it on hold for me for friday morning.When i got there friday morning and they didnt have one there.They had to have one brought from another store & it woldnt be there till 2:00.So now i have to pay for another ride back up there & my husband has to work all evening to get it back together, so we can go to work saturday. She should have made sure that it was in stock before saying yes.
