Ill start by saying Sam was a one man show, had some step ups put on, and he set them on rather fast. He had to take customers in between, but I didnt mind. Once he finished up. I had some questions about some other parts, and labor. He helped educate me on some Ideas, which was very resourceful. I would recommend Epic 4x4 if youre looking for work, Sam was a 5/5!

Came in with loose steering after I added a level and 35’s on my Denali HD. They had it fixed and aligned in no time. Very very pleased with the service here!

Got my 4Runner lifted and my new Method wheels put on 1/11/21. Sam was a professional from start to finish. He is very knowledgeable and they do honest work and charge fair prices. Him and his wife were very attentive and always responded quickly. Work was done quickly, in and out in a few hours. Will definitely come back for any work in the future!

First off, let me start by saying that although Sam did his thing on my truck and hooked it up while educating me on mufflers and lifts, TARYN really helped make my first experience with Epic 4x4 a great one! She is a really nice, welcoming person who could probably talk to you about anything and made it seem like weve already met before. Sam is a cool dude as well, he was hella short-staffed the day I came in the shop but made sure I knew how the product worked and made sure I was squared away before I drove off the lot. Definitely will be making a return!

My experience at Epic Off-Road was awesome. Gary and Brandon are very professional and helpful in finding just what I wanted. The mechanics​ in the shop have the experience to do the job right and in a very timely manner. Their shop is not very big (just the way I like it), but the reward is. This is the 2nd time that I end up taking my truck to a alignment shop after a few months of a levering kit installed by this guys, very difficult to get it back to them ! 2 different trucks same problem!!!! Sam and Taryn at Epic 4x4 were a pleasure to work with on my 2020 F150. The install was the most expensive mod I’ve ever put on a vehicle so it was a lot to take in. Taryn was very kind and fun to chat with and walked me through options for leveling kits/lifts, tire and wheel brands and sizes, and pricing for it all. I probably asked 100 questions over the weeks through emails and phone calls and not once did they seem to get annoyed or frustrated with me lol. Sam did the install in a day and was able to walk me through it all when I picked it up. I’m much more informed and educated on this stuff now because of them! I’m glad I pulled the trigger on this and could not be more pumped to ride around in the upgrades. I greatly appreciate their honesty and patience and I will for sure be a return customer!

Sam at epic off road was very easy and great to work with. I had him install a 3.5 level on my 2017 f250 and told him exactly how I wanted it and he did exactly what I wanted and the truck came out perfect. I had airbags installed on my 2021 F250. It was supposed to be done by noon so I could get on the road. I ended up having to stay another night because they did not get done until 6 that day. I picked it up and headed to fuel up And noticed the rear axel bracket to hold the bags on was just hanging there with one bolt. Its suppose to have two. I fixed myself because I neededto leave. And then later the other bracket fell off. So I called to ask him where I could purchase one and the owner told me he had some there. I asked him if he could send me one and he told me no, I would have to come pick it up. And said it wasn’t his fault. He would even take the time to send me a $5 bracket. I also recommended two other people to Epic and they both got screwed over. Very poorly ran business. Beware.

FIVE STAR service from The first phone call all the way to pulling out of the parking lot with all high expectations exceeded! I was a referred to epic 4x4 by my brother who had previously done work on his truck . I drove all the way from waxahachie just to do business ...and Anyone not living close by, I highly recommend to do the same! Epic had the RARE tires and top performance leveling kit IN STOCK that I was looking for and made life easy for me . They are very knowledgeable and friendly as well. I will definitely be doing all business with a big 4 x 4 moving forward . I rarely take time out of my day to write a review, however recognition needed to given for this great experience. I found Epic 4x4 Off-road thru a friends referral and couldn’t be more satisfied with the service. Sam takes time to help you figure out what you want if you’re still undecided and there’s no pressure at all. I ended up having him do some work on my wife’s car because he was so easy to work with. Great garage and great staff. I’ll be back for round 2 of my build very soon.

Epic seems to have issues with losing customer parts then trying to place the blame on the customer. Pay up for the kids skidplate.

After repairing a few of my parts myself, I took my truck in to Sam and his crew and they were on it immediately. Nice job on the lift but when I brought it to their attention that I can get the same exact tires for $80 cheaper each they would not match the price. It is what is it but it would have been excellent service to match price. Over all I am happy with my purchase and my truck looks completely different.

I’ve visited many off road shops, and until Epic, I have never found a staff that cares this much about doing the job right, and treating their customers like they’re family. Everyone is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, but Sam goes far out of his way to deliver over the top customer service.I was on a trip from California to Texas, and had recently had a lift installed. I noticed the rear axle u bolt nuts and washers had come off on the left side, and called Epic to ask if they could help. They said come right over, we’ll fix you up. As soon as I arrived, they brought the truck in the garage, and started to work on it. In addition to providing new hardware, they also diagnosed a bad ground for my airbag compressor and sorted that out as well. This experience was what everyone HOPES will be the outcome when something breaks on their car.I cannot stress how friendly, welcoming, and helpful this visit was. If I have any needs going forward, this is the only shop I’m calling. Truly great guys with incredible knowledge of everything off road related, an absolute five star experience. Keep up the great work Epic!

After discussing options I agreed with Epic that the Bilstein height adjustable shocks was the best option to level my 16’ Sierra. The results were excellent with improved ride quality. The work was done right on time and the alignment was spot on. Highly recommend this shop!

Sam helped me narrow down the exact leveling kit I wanted for my 2019 F150. We were able to schedule for the next day and they got me in and back out with the full alignment in about 2.5 hours.Highly recommend!

Sam is great and a great business owner. Took my truck in on a Saturday for an annoying front end issue. He spent a considerable amount of time trying to diagnose, but didn’t have time to make the adjustments that day. He let me leave without charging me or asking for a deposit, he just asked that I come back next week so he can finish the job. I came back and we squared up then, but I thought that was really refreshing to not ask for any money considering the considerable amount of time he spent on the diagnostic. I also had a VERY annoying squeak coming from the rear. Sam initially thought it could be bushings, but asked me to come in so we could road test together with his sensors hooked up. Turned out, it was the “low on air” spare tire underneath that was squeaking at every bump!! How crazy, but that’s what it was. If Sam was a dishonest guy, he easily could’ve told me it was bad bushings, shocks, whatever and I wouldn’t know any better. Then put some air in the spare tire and sell me $1200 of stuff I didn’t need. On top of that, he refused to accept payment for figuring out the squeak issue even though he spent 45 minutes of his time on it. Just know that when you deal with Sam, he will treat you the way he wants to be treated. He’s honest and ethical and a real credit to the automotive community.

Got LED after market head lights, front bumper with winch and Roof rack installed here. Great team, worked quickly and efficiently to get me on the schedule. I paid for the parts Monday and dropped off Wednesday for the install. Very happy with the outcome. Excellent service. Will be back again.

However, after telling him what I wanted to achieve in regards to look, feel and performance he made some suggestions based on his experience. Did a great job. Came by on Saturday, parts were there by Monday. The parts would have been installed on Monday if only I had time to take my truck up to the shop. Dropped it off Monday Night and picked it back up the next day. Easy, convenient and everything looks good. Appreciate yall and your quick work.

I was fairly happy with these guys but they didnt really seem to know the answers to the questions I needed. They put an airbag system in my truck which turned out great. But initially one of the sales guys told me to put in a helper spring instead but then the insulation guy told me the helper spring would not help and that I should do a airbag system instead. Then I was told I needed to do a delete on my EGR and exhaust system for a 2014 F350. Which would cost about 2,000 something dollars. I took it somewhere else and found out that that was not the problem so that saved me $2,000.

I recently brought in my 2007 H3 to get a kit installed and put on some new tires. They did a great job advising me on some parts I needed to make the custom work go smoothly and when it was all done the truck ran better than the day I bought it. It is not a new car but with the great work I got and the great price my H3 is a real head turner. Thanks guys I really appreciate all the extras and the professional service I received.

Just picked my truck up from Epic again! I wish it could have been because I installed new toys, but we just fixed some issues. Ive been going here for several years - you cant beat the value and the quality! They specialize in suspension, steering, off-roading and accessories but excel at knowing the truck and how to solve problems. Great group with a great leader.

I stopped in a few months back to see about some pretty bad steering play I had in my 2013 F-250. The owner Sam Brown was extremely busy and still managed to find time to access the problem. One of the things he noticed right off the bat was that my Pittman control arm was not near snug enough and needed to be torqued down for better contact seating. This tightened up the steering immensely and I was extremely happy of the outcome. There are still some things that I need to get done to get it where I want it to be, however, Sam took great care of me this day. So well in fact that when he told me what I owed him for his time - after I asked - I told him to double it. I have an appointment to install some Sulastic shackles and check out several other steering modifications this Thursday and am looking forward to getting my truck back to where it needs to be. Thank you Sam, and Epic team!

Called and spoke to the women that answered the phone regarding my husbands lift that was installed and explained that when I had my brakes done on our truck that there were nuts missing on my lift. I saw when the place I took it to showed me.I called and spoke with her and even text pictures and have called and still have not received a call back. I paid another company to make sure my truck was safe. Apparently it is ok to do a half ass job and not treat customers that pay with and respect or courtesy. Nor want them to be safe

So I had to order some parts for my TJ. While it took a few days to get things squared away, Sam did it with pure professionalism. There was some miscommunication and some things didnt get done. However, Sam made it right and had the parts expedited for me. This is a great example of sometimes things happen, its how you deal with them that makes a difference. So thank you for the hard work and professional, over the top customer service.

Looked at a few places around town to have a 4 lift kit, 35 tires, rims, etc. installed on my 2010 Jeep Wrangler. I selected Epic based on their customer service. Sam, the owner, went through great detail regarding options, dos and donts, and his recommendations. I could not be more pleased with the results!!! I could not be more pleased with the entire process, quality of work and communications!!! He even asked for us to come back after we have driven it a few miles just so he can go back through it...at his time and expense...at no charge! Who does that now days??? Its obvious Sam cares about his customers, takes pride in his work and values his reputation!!! I would recommend Epic to anyone without hesitation!!!

Bought products in April, products had issues returned products in September after several attempts to work out issues,and Brandon told me it isnt worth his trouble. Its December, still have not recieved my $ back. Not sure what kind of scam they are running, but its over $1,000.00 and now I am forced to file in small claims court. Dont do business with this place.

Highly recommend you stay away from this place. Horrible customer service. If you buy rims and tires from them and have problems they tell you too go too Discount Tire. If they tell you they will call you back, they wont. There are not any good 4x4 shops that give reputable service or stand by there work in DFW. I just hope the level kit they put on was done right. I have nothing good too say about epic 4x4. Do yourself a favor and stay away, especially if you value your truck.

Epic 4x4 installed new wheels and tires a few months back - it was time to do a tire rotation. I took truck down to discount tire on 407 near highland village and they said they could not rotate the tires because there were two different types of lugs nuts installed on the truck and the removal key I was given by epic would only work on some of the wheels. Epic had installed 2 different types of lug nuts with different heads and worse they used different keys to remove them - some needed a 6 point key and some required a 7 point key. Meaning the key I was given by epic only removed some of the lug nuts. I had to go to TRUXX Outfitters to purchase a new wheel installation kit to get a full set of matching lug nuts with the same removal key size. TRUXX removed the old lug nuts and installed the new ones for free. Only had to pay for the parts. (Thank you TRUXX). The more time passes, the more errors I find on work performed by Sam and his epic crew. I’m so tired of all the problems.Discount tire removed my wheel today and while epic claims to have installed 20x10” wheels, they are actually 20x12” wheels. Discount tire claims that the tires mounted by epic on my wheels are 1” too small per specifications. On the invoice provided by epic to my bank it clearly states 20x10 wheels (which is what I wanted and ordered) but epic hid the error of them ordering the wrong wheel size.I see the response below and need to reply - when I did go by the store to try to drop off a bumper and at an earlier time to drop off the damaged rigid light bar no offer to replace the lug nuts was made. So in correction no effort was made to correct the issue

Very satisfied with my experience at Epic 4x4. In my opinion Brandon and the team at Epic went above and beyond to get my lift installed on a tight timeline. When I look to get more work done Epic 4x4 will be my first call!

These guys are a piece of work. I order a kit with them 2 weeks in advanced and everything seemed good to go. Called a couple of days ahead to make sure all was set and still good to go. I show up the day of the appointment to get it installed and waited 4 hrs to the point I finally asked status. The guy that works the front who has been there 3 yrs tells me they got the wrong part. Really it took three hours to tell me and stated to come back later or another day. You figured they would have known this ahead of time and would have told me vs waiting the whole time. My suspicion is they did not order the part and when I arrived they were rushing to get it in. I wasted my time and ended up with nothing. I had read the poor reviews and should have went with my gut on this one.

Installed a leveling kit on my 2011 Silverado, had it done early than anticipated and my truck looks GREAT! As soon as I can save up for wheels/tires they will be installing them as well.

Do not take your vehicle to this shop! I had a suspension kit installed by the crews at Epic 4x4. I had purchased all of the parts myself (shocks/springs, UCAs, and add a leaf). I had the shop install the kit and also had it aligned by the shop. I do not live near the shop and noticed that the truck was pulling bad towards to the passenger side. I had another shop align the truck and they told me whoever did it originally did a terrible job. He did say though that the truck had a pull.I called up Epic and all they told me was I voided my install since another shop aligned the truck. Not sure how they could void labor as I had brought in all of the components.Fast forward to today and I had another shop near me take a look at the truck. After discussion with the shop manager, he said whoever installed the UCAs did not do it properly. He said they were installed and over torqued in the air, where you want to do this on the ground for the suspension to droop properly. The issue with my truck on it pulling was because of the incorrectly installed UCAs.Save your money and go to another shop if you are wanting to have a lift kit installed, especially if you drive a Tacoma. I wish I would have found another one when I first had it installed as I would not be having these issues.I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to this shop.
