Shorty & the techs went well beyond to help me get on the road. I was stuck on the side of the highway heading to Oklahoma. If it wasnt for them, I would have slept in my truck overnight, but they got me on the road in 1 hour, even after closing. I couldnt be more thankful for the 3 of them. I made it home safe! I cant say thank you enough. If you ever need tires, they definitely are the people to see!

This past Saturday, I went to drive my car and realized I had a bolt in my front left tire. Id never had a flat tire before, so I called my dad and he said to call Pep Boys and see if they could patch it because he had originally bought the tires a couple of years before at a location in another state. I called and they said bring it in any time that day and they could take a look and service it.I get there and I didnt realize Pep Boys doesnt have access to receipts from other locations and that I would need the original receipt from years prior in order for them to honor anything, but Sandy, the service technician at the desk, said she would have them honor it anyways and went ahead and had the mechanic look at my tire. In the meantime, she asked me to call the original store and see if they could email the receipt. They did. I really appreciated being given a solution rather than being turned away.It turns out, because of the size and where the bolt was they couldnt patch the tire, but I would need a new tire. I really appreciated Sandy took me to look at the tire and she and the mechanic explained to me why they couldnt patch it. Luckily, they had the same kind of tire in stock and were able to replace the tire that afternoon and it only took about an hour maybe. While no one enjoys the abrupt expense of needing a tire replaced, I really appreciated the friendly and helpful service I received.

{This post is regarding the Lewisville location off Stemmons because i am am not sure if all the locations are linked}I can not say anything bad about this location. I was in this location with a friend of mine a few days ago and he received excellent service. Mario showed great customer service and made sure that the services that my friend was needing was done and the time that was expected was actually completed sooner then expected. I defiantly will be bringing my vehicle to Mario an his team for my next service.

Excellent customer service. Upon my arrival I encountered a very rude and irrate customer and I may add that the store tech Elijah handled himself very professional. My appointment was at 10 am but the rude customer caused me to be seen maybe half hour later. I was seen and taken care of, and I can say they went above and beyond to make sure my wait wasnt in vain. Hats off to Elijah once again. I know it was hard to keep your cool but good job and I would definitely return to location for future services.

Got my AC Compressor replaced here with great service from Dominic and Eli, but one month later and the new employees are saying I need to my AC Compressor replaced once again due to leaking coolant! The new manager is super rude, I wont be back.

Whenever they were leaving for the evening, the employees approached my vehicle and stared at me aggressively. I didnt think it showed a very good training on the part of the manager, because the way they treated me really did not reflect the positive values that I had previously associated with the Pep Boys brand name.They really didnt cause me to feel like a valued or welcome customer, and to me that shows a real ineptitude in regards to serving the community.

I brought my Jeep on today and Mario and Eli tested it and confirmed what I thought was the problem and they didnt charge me. I bought the part I needed from the auto parts store and brought it back and they installed it. They didnt even charge me for the install. I was expecting for it to cost 300-500 to fix my car and it was only a $20.00 part and they didnt even charge me for it. Mario and Eli provided great service and should get a raise

Horrible horrible service!!!! Had an appointment at 5:30 for a simple tire rotation. Got there at 5:20. Employee was outside smoking a cigar and told us we had to leave our car and pick it up in the morning. We said we have an appointment and the employee said “ it’s not gonna happen today” I got a little upset the the employee threatened me by saying “ I’ll lay you out” Wow just wow!!! Was told to step in front of the camera and take a swing. All this because he apparently just doesn’t want to work. This is the third time we have had issues with Pep Boys and definitely the last. Tried calling customer relations multiple times, no one ever picks up or returns calls. Go yourself a favor, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE for service to your car. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star but you can’t do 0 star

I came in during lunch to set up an appointment to get my oil changed and to request a quote on a set of tires. Randolph took great care of me. He showed me everything that was wrong and kept me updated on progress of my truck. I would HIGHLY recommend going to Pep Boys and seeing Randolph. He shows that safety is their top priority.

They figured out how to best help me with my cars problems, got everything fixed and me out the door in less than an hour. And this was all done at a VERY reasonable price....way less than other shops I had visited. They were kind, friendly, and helpful. Rarely at an auto repair shop do you receive that kind of friendly, personable treatment! I absolutely hate having to handle auto repairs because its usually slow, expensive, and stressful. But at this Pep Boys, everything went smoothly and perfectly. I have never seen anything like this before! These guys are great, and I highly recommend giving them a try! They deserve a lot of credit and accolades for how they handled my auto problems as well as everyone else who came in while I was there. Called up there to ask for some information about my vehicle that was recently serviced there .. the guy on the phone wouldn’t even look into the information don’t recommend them to anyone

I came to this location to find about the services that were offered. When I arrived, I didnt see anyone at the desk, after about seven or eight minutes of waiting I went to the service area to talk to someone about an oil change. They guy told me someone would be with me shortly. I guess that had a lot going on because with two gentleman at the front desk now I still wasnt waited on. After about a couple of minutes or so instead of explaining to me about services the guy asked me for my keys and drove my truck into a bay. After him asking for information I explained to him that I have not been explained about the services they provide. I told him you dont even know what I want did to my automobile. So he goes to explaining it to me when another gentleman can in as he was explaining and said if he doesnt want it just put on there the customer decline and have him sign so we are not liable. He jumped in mid-sentence. I respectfully explain to them that I would rather go some place else to have services done on my vehicle. It just was a bad experience for me.

Edit: we recently went back for an issue with our tire and Tommy was amazing help!He recommended what was best to do without trying to sell us at all, and helped us with getting one of our tires fixed as well.I went in to get my tires changed and was originally quoted a 2 hour wait. We ended up leaving about 3 and a Half hours, to make things worse someone came in, after our 2 hour wait, and immediately got his oil changed and walked out quick.To top it all off, I was told my bearings needed to be changed (I knew something was wrong but thought it was the tires) I buy everything I need to get it changed. I was offered then to have them changed, but my dad is a mechanic and chose to check with him first. You would think they would notice what was wrong but no, the problem was the axel not the bearings. Good thing I went with my gut.I could have paid for the tires at about the same rate or less anywhere else.Not going back for sure.

The customer service rep I spoke to was amazing he made our visit extremely easy. The actual shop however is horrible and tried to scam me by telling me I needed new brake calipers when I did not.the tried to overcharge me by $500 o. Something I didnt need. But Randolph was amazing.

Justin the new manager and the staff are superb!!! Not only are they honest but quick and efficient. I only had an hour and half before son got out of school and thought I needed brakes. In fact I still had plenty of wear but I elected to get brakes since it was going to be pretty soon as they advised upon inspection. Honest guy named Randolph running the place now. Very professional and up front. I bought tires there 1.5 years ago when someone else was running it. 80k mile warranty. I only got 20k miles out of em. Randolph is trying to help me out.

I rarely post reviews, but this place warranted one. I was impressed with how professional they sounded on the phone when I set up my appointment. When I arrived in person, I was told differently about the availability of my parts, and then he wasnt able to quote me a price if ordered. When I questioned this, he looked at me with disdain. Before I even finished asking for my keys back he was all too enthusiastic to have me leave. I was not rude during any of this. Would not recommend to anyone.

I always get nervous when my car needs something. That nervousness is over now that I met Justin! He explained everything to me and more. I got my oil changed, tired rotated and was out in an hour. I came in for the brake inspection because the dealer told me they wanted to do a brake job during my last service for 50% more cost than Just brakes.The manager, Andrew, and the guy working on my car showed me the brakes, explained how they worked and described the work needed doing. They offered their discounts without my having to ask them. Very friendly and helpful. Went there to get the guarantee -- will go back because of the service.

Needing a few items to pass my state inspection, I pulled in the parking lot to get some things fixed, backed into a space and Randolph met me at my door with a smile. He was looking at another vehicle beside me, but stopped and welcomed me like a long lost friend. I immediately knew I had found a very safe and trusted business and staff to do business with for a long, long time.He went over what they found after inspecting items on my vehicle (an ‘07 Yukon with a lot of miles), shared with me what was necessary, what wasn’t, cost options, future things to consider and was a wonderful teacher of what he spoke of. I never felt pressure, fear or uncertainty as to what to do. As a single mother taking care of things somewhat out of my scope of comfort, Randolph helped me feel empowered, taken care of and supported like a queen. Justin and his team are awesome. I stopped in after I failed my state inspection; they helped me fix the issues and really went above and beyond with their customer service. I am happy I have finally found an honest auto service shop.

I had several issues with the replacement and installation of the rear brakes. The first time I took my vehicle back was because of a defective brake part. The second time was because of a clipping sound. The brakes were repaired twice. However, I was told that it may be my suspension. I ending up taking my vehicle to a Toyota dealer regarding the issue. Turns out the parts that were installed for the vehicle are of cheap quality. I have used Firestone in the past and never had any issues with repairs. I would recommend Firestone for vehicle service repairs. Dont be a victim of promotional discount rates.

This gentleman helped me extremely with the information that I needed to replace my wheel bearings and wheel hub bc I have pressed bearings! Extremely impressed. I was on my way home from East Texas to OK pulling a trailer. Brakes were vibrating very bad. Found this place with high reviews, so I decided to risk it and go an extra hour. Good choice! The assistant manager was there to greet me at the time I requested, already knew the situation. Had me in and out with new brakes very fast. Identified a couple issues that he recommended I have checked but didnt try to up sell me on anything. They even offered my dog stay in the a/c, and gave her water! I might just drive back to Dallas next time I need brakes!

Didnt have a problem getting my oil change done here. I was in and out! It is a little pricey compared to other places. I had a $20 off coupon for my synthetic oil change. Apparently the oil is $75, then became $55, and with tax its $64... which doesnt make sense because tax isnt that high. A little sketchy but my car is fine which matters most and my time wasnt wasted.

David was GREAT. My car has been funky for a week or so and other mechanics havent been able to fix it. I came here and he had it figured out and fixed quickly. Havent had a problem since. Thank you David and your team!!!

I first used Just Brakes to get my oil changed a few months ago after getting a Groupon. The service was great. The staff was friendly and the wait time was less than 20min. I highly recommend this store.

Ive been in the car biz for 12 years and Ive heard every form of upsale and ridiculous wrongs told to me and others and Ive finally found a place that doesnt mysteriously find major concerns with my truck that cost $1200 or whatever dollars. Justin and his team are top notch. They are honest and they actually care about doing a great job, which is rare in a very impatient, I want it now at a discount world. Id drive 100 miles to let them work on my vwhicle.

I have 2009 Lexus rx350 I went to three different tire shots the first one they install the brand new 4 tires and tire and 4 new tires sensors But they couldn’t program my sensors.After a few days and went to (discount tires) and they diagnosed my Sensors and they make a story of those sensors they cannot be Program.Finally I called Pep Boys In Lewisville And Marcos help me out over the phone And he was so confident that they can Program, That location I highly recommend it to anyone as an issues with the tire sensors after all the troubles I have with the other shops, I’m so proud to have a Store like pep poys In Lewisville,Tx And I am so satisfied dealing with Marcos and his team is in the shop.I wish give you over 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I really appreciate it and thank you 🙏.

This place is amazing! Sears in Lewisville screwed my brakes up worse than what they already were and then gave me some horrible BS excuses as to why the issue didnt seem to be fixed. Fed up I went down the highway to the professionals at Just Brakes. I was greeted warmly at 7AM and was offered breakfast while my brakes were looked at. The staff was so nice and down to earth! Mike the manager is the best. While I waited for my repairs to get done I witnessed 3 or 4 others come in and request their brakes to be changed. Instead of just doing what they asked and easily/unnecessarily taking their money Mike came back after inspecting their brake system to inform each of them that the issues they had been having were not due to their brakes at all and directed them where to go to really get their vehicle issue resolved. That to me is true integrity and honesty!! I will always go to Just Brakes for my brake needs because of this..my only regret was not going to these guys in the first place! Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart

Well, Ive takin past cars to this location including my current car, and well my last visit I got an oil change might i add was alot more than usual anyways, ever since then my steering wheel shakes on the highway and my alignment pulls hard to the right. I know how my car drove before this last visit, i drive my everyday and while im at work. I know nothin will be done about it so figure i would leave this review.

So I had an appointment today with PepBoys Lewisville, TX location to have oil change and wheel alignment. Apparently having an appointment doesn’t meant anything at this place. They asked to wait for an hour and a half before they can take my car. I asked if I can come back in an hour so I don’t have to wait. The answer was NO. I don’t understand what’s the point of appointment if they don’t even care about it. Also, the guys at the front desk told me “no need for appointment confirmation” Huh!. Also, if you plan to use their coupons, don’t bother. The coupon on their website can only be used one at a time. Don’t really understand why. I could make 2 visits and use both of them. Right! Anyways, not going back to this location again, probably I’ll skip pepboys all together. I would rather pay a little extra and go to the dealership who offer loaners with appointment. Just thought I should share my experience.

Took a Corolla in for an oil change, left with a car that cant go past 3000RPM.Edit - It is worth noting that, before taking it in for an oil change and a Toyota Scheduled Maintenance, there was no check engine light traction control wouldnt constantly turn off, and I could go above 3k RPM.After taking it back to this Pep Boys, I was told by Tristian that there is no way they could have caused any problems with the car, so they would not do anything to assist with the new problems caused while it was in their care. They also forgot the scheduled maintenance, seemingly never noting down that it was requested, but that seems like small potatoes compared to them breaking my car.PB wouldnt even read the engine codes for us, or clear them - Theres only one technician here, and hes 4hrs past his shift, so... and the rest of us are only in school for it. We dont know how to use that machine, sorry.Despite Tristian and Pep Boys unwillingness to fix their mistakes, I was able to at least answer the RPM problem on my own. The mass airflow sensor was triggering the check engine light, so we bought the specialized cleaner from AutoZone and took care of that ourselves (after they took care of the check engine light for us).It, frankly, surprises me how bad the service here was. I did not expect to be so put out, even if I was being cynical about it. I would never recommend anyone go here, and if this is how Pep Boys always is, to any of their locations.

Incredible service from this location is an understatement. Pep boys really made sure that my car was up and running after the brake system fell apart. I highly recommend that you go here for your repairs if you are in the area.

Took my car in for an oil change. When I came home the next day I realize that my car was leaking oil. Ended up taking my car back to Pepboys at least three times before the manager David finally told me that my car had always been leaking oil. I know for a fact that I did not have a oil leak when I took my car in for an oil change that was spilling all over the ground. Not happy with the service they dont seem very capable of fixing problems that they cause. I would never recommend this store or go back there ever again.

Ive had my cars oil changed twice at Just Brakes in Lewisville. The staff is always courteous and my oil change is always quick. I even let one of my Groupons expire and they were able to work with me on the price of my second oil change. Id definitely recommend Just Brakes for your next oil change.

Have always had a great experience when getting either of our cars serviced. They always make me aware of the condition of my vehicle and I appreciate the advice on taking care of my vehicles since we depend on them so much.

Waited over 2 hours for an oil change. Only 1 car in front of me. Its worth paying the extra money to go to somewhere else rather than waste time here. Lesson learned.
