I went to Meineke yesterday as my rear brakes were making some god awful noises. I had gotten quotes from the local dealership that were upwards of $600-$650 for pads and rotors. That was not in the budget so we decided to try Meineke. We walked in and the manager Charles immediately had someone start checking it out. They looked at more than just the pads and rotors, and I found out that it needs a few other things. Charles presented the information in a clear and concise manner, and when I told him that I wasn’t budgeted for everything that needed to be done, he didn’t pressure me or push me to get everything done, he actually helped to fix the most immediate issue, and helped come up with a plan of attack to fix the rest. Took a little extra time as they seemed to be pretty busy but he made sure that it was done same day which was a blessing itself, and made sure we were happy campers the entire time. I had my wife and my two daughters with me (1yo and 2yo) and he walked next door, bought them happy meals, gave them toys to play with, and made us feel welcomed even when they were a little loud and rambunctious. Overall great guy, great store and great service. Will be going there for everything from now on. I have never had such a pleasant and excellent experience at an auto service center in my life. This is a nice place to get your car fixed. Charles was a great guy had good conversation and let you know exactly what your car needs without pressure of you filling like you must get it. He just recommends the items that will keep your car 100% running. If the are running behind on getting your parts in to get it fix please believe he will be on that phone to get them there asap. I highly recommend this shop.

Went in and got a pinion seal done for my truck around 2pm and they had told me it’d be done around 5:30-6 and they got it done before then. They were really nice and honest, didn’t try to upsell me on anything. Ask for Charles or Jeff if you need any work done or have any questions!!

I stopped in to have them look at my windshield wiper fluid which was not working. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue, repair the problem, and fill the fluid so I would be safe in my car. I am a hospice nurse so I drive all day. They were professional, courteous, and proficient! Would recommend to anyone. Will only use this location for all my automotive repairs. The service was excellent! Charles made sure that my Lexus was running like brand new. I took it to get the catalytic converters replaced due to a loud noise and a faulty O2 sensor. Charles was able to point out why I was hearing that noise and was able to get my car to purr like kitten. I will definitely go back!

I had my appointment set for 08/16/2021 at 3:30pm, and they didn’t on my car until almost two hours later. I however didn’t have an issue with the wait time because I seen that they were pretty busy. I however am irritated the I was charged the wrong price. I mentioned three times that I had a $20 coupon for my wheel alignment. However, it was never applied and I ended up paying full price. The issue was fixed though, but the reason for my rating is the fact that I was lied on. The cashier told the manager that I only mentioned the coupon to her over the phone when setting up my appointment, but that was a darn lie! I told her about my coupon two separate times on location. My last issue is with the mechanic who worked on my car, he left black finger prints all over my car. So unsanitary, but I have to be humble because I drove to the hood to get an alignment when the mechanics in my neighborhood were too busy to see me. So you know what, for that reason, I will upgrade from one star to two stars. Thanks!

Real professional, and Miranda actually took time to get to know a customer! Wow! While i was there a crazy lady came in screaming, and using racial slurs directed at the employees there. And Charles and Miranda handled themselves with pure professionalism. Kudos to them! YOU CANT MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY! especially when they dont want to be. Service done to my vehicle exceeded my expectations. Will be back!

Came in for a oil change 2 months after I purchased my car. They done a full digital diagnostic showing me every single detail of my car which I would have expected to get from my dealership when I had purchased it. Charles was very knowledgeable and took the time and patience to explain what services were necessary, recommendations on different types of oil changes there were and what their care plans offered including with estimates. Never once did I feel pushed to buy or do anything for my car which I liked the most. There was no rush when others came in for their needs and the wait time was very reasonable and fast. I will continue to take my car here and recommend to come see Charles and his staff for your car needs.

Very good people working up there. I went in to get new plugs and they got it done within a few hours and gave an awesome price. It’s an honest shop, they aren’t trying to get one over on you.

I should have run when I walked up and a customer who was driving a very expensive vehicle was unhappy about services that he was charged for and did not authorize. The manager said he had to put it In the system that way and that he would give him a discount on his next visit. My battery was replaced with the most expensive battery they had. I was not given any option. He charged me for services I did not need, roadside assistance. I told him I did not need the service because my insurance covers that cost. The manager replied that “now you have options”. I will never return to meineke nor would I recommend their services to anyone.

Truly the rare auto-mechanic shop you can trust. Charles does a great job of telling you what you need and removing the fluff that you usually get from others. Also doesn’t hurt that his lead technician has won a number of top awards so you can count on the work getting done properly.

I feel like I was tricked by the fast talking front desk person Charles who told me one thing but I received something else. I was told one thing about the loan but received something else different entirely. I feel like its a scam because the loan goes into their business, they get all of the praises and you the customer get to take your car somewhere else to have it fixed properly. This review probably wont even be shown because it isnt all bells and whistles but it the TRUTH. I told Charles about how other places have scammed me in the past only for him to scam me now. I DO NOT recommend the loan and I do not recommend Meinike.

Took my vehicle in yesterday for exhaust work that they said would be no problem and what I thought was a simple normal task for them to do. Ten hours later I pickup my vehicle and when I got home I decided to check out the work and found the ugliest weld job I have ever seen. Do not even think I can allow them to attempt a better job and will probably have to pay more to fix what they did

This is the most professional and well organized business I have ever been into. I have recently moved into the area and this is the first place I came too, Charles is amazing (store manager), he worked with me on the pricing, he specifically showed me each and every detail that would need to be replaced, and made sure I knew the origin of why it was needing to be replaced. They were ridiculously fast, I got all new brakes, routers, tons more stuff and paid a fair price for all due to Charles and his magic fingers !! Seriously if you need a place to go to for ANY car service come here ! They will take care of you with open arms!

Ive been coming to this location for my oil changes for years and I never had any problems until today. The Manager, Charles, told me I was needing a tune up on my Kia Forte, because I was at 67,000 miles . I asked him for a quote on it and he proceeded to tell me it would be $617.00 for new spark plugs + labor!! (Kia Dealership quoted me 229.00)He tried to pressure me into financing, but I reached out to my Dad and he said that was INSANE. Once I told him Id wait on it, he no longer wanted to check me out for my oil change and passed it on to someone else.

Charles and Devontae are great guys to work with very professional and personable. My car was running pretty rough when I took it in and it had a lift or knock but after they were done cleaning it and doing a engine flush and oil change my car ran a lot smoother and stronger.

The Service Advisor was very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything in great detail and easily understandable. The work was fast and professionally done. The email detailing the included inspection showed all the work and problem areas. It included pictures that I never saw from any service in the past and were phenomenal.

Just got an inspection done. Very nice and professional but took over an hour to do the inspection and that was with an appointment scheduled. Other than the long wait all else was good.

1st time customer at this location since I moved to the area. Charles was awesome from the moment I walked in the door to the completion of my oil change, tire rotation and inspection. They were very honest as to what my car needed, other places like the last place I took my car to gave me a list of things my car needed done immediately (not true). Charles showed the the one thing that needs to be done ASAP. I really appreciate that and know I can trust them! I willl definitely be back!

The staff was friendly, but it took almost two and a half hours for my car to be finished (with an appointment) and my back tail light (which was supposed to be replaced) is still not working and I was not made aware of this, but I was still charged for the replacement bulb (which I’m not even sure was installed). I was not thrilled with their service.

Ladies I can not express enough that this is the place for your car needs! I’m your typical clueless female. These guys stayed late to fix my tire (I was totally lost if they hadn’t, no way home) the next day I went for an oil change, because they definitely earned my business, not knowing what I needed, I asked for an oil change they did that and rotated my tires for free without asking. I felt like they took care of me as good as my dad. Highly highly recommend! Excellent good hearted guys! They have my business for life. Also very cheap

I was able to get my car fixed and use financing. I highly recommend this shop and will continue going back.

They were pretty busy when I first showed up, but they gave me a time to come back. The state inspection took some time (just like it does at Firestone, etc.) but the people were friendly. I liked that they sent me status emails and, at the end, an email with pictures and recommended maintenance. Ill go here again, Im sure!

This place is where I bring my cars. The manager Isaac is honest, knowledgeable, & does quality work. He has is also very friendly & helpful. They always have great specials & cheap oil changes. Rather then trying to up sale you on things, he tells you what you do need & helps to ensure your back on the road as soon as possible. I have had other shops misdiagnosis my cars issues or tell me it was something expensive, then take it to Isaac & find out that is not at all the issue.

Called to ask for rough estimate on tire fix and apparently fixing a nail on tire can cost between $5-$5 million lol what a joke. Got it done for $15 across the street.

Charles and his team were wonderful to work with! Always cheerful and friendly (and hilarious), they recognized every single customer by name and face. I love that they took pictures of the parts of my car they checked in the inspection and emailed them to me in the report. They also took me into the garage to point out every area of concern they found, so I could really understand what was needed and why.Since I’m in a financially rough place due to COVID-19, Charles offered financing and helped me choose the most necessary repairs to perform to make sure I could afford the weekly payments. These people CARE, and I’m so grateful I went to them to take care of my car!

I came here with a Benz CLA 45 AMG that was reading auxiliary battery malfunction. The manager of this location said that I needed a new main battery for this to stop reading that on my car and said my battery was bad. Said in 2 days the battery should be running at full. A week and $650 later the car is still reading auxiliary battery malfunction so I take it to the Benz dealership and for $309 they fixed the AUXILIARY BATTERY... this is my first car so I didn’t know the difference but I would expect y’all to be honest and truthful not just trying to get some money out of me charging me for the wrong services

I went in JUST for an oil change and an inspection. The person I trusted previously to take care of my car failed to tell me about everything going on with it. Turns out there’s some serious stuff I needed to fix or who know what would have happened to my car OR ME. These guys really took care of me, even helped me with my anxiety through it all. Great customer service, will definitely be coming back.

BUYER BEWARE! My brakes were squeaking so I made an appointment about a month ago to have them checked out. My appointment was at 7:30 in the morning. I did not hear anything from them by 2:00 pm so I called. They apologized and said they were short handed because they had some people unexpectedly quit, but they were about to look at my car. They called back about an hour later and said my brake pads were in good condition but the rotors were shot and I would need all four replaced at a cost of $700! I thought this was really high, so I decided to go get my car and have a second opinion. After taking it to another place, I found out that the rotors were perfectly fine and the only thing wrong was a broken sensor and the need for a little grease on the brakes!!! The sensor cost me about $5 at AutoZone and about that much for the grease!!! No more squeaking and no more brake light after fixing those two things! Thank God I got a second opinion from an honest reputable person!!! They either outright lied to take advantage of me and make a $680 profit, or they did not even look at my brakes! Either way they should be put out of business. Totally unacceptable and dishonest. DO NOT bring your car here!

We made an appointment, for tires,brakes and drums, complete oil change air filters,and inspection upon having the vehicle in the air realized the control arm needed replaced, so we did that and now the car is worse then when I originally bought it in for. I am now at another place fixing the issues the made.

Charles was an absolute delight to work with. My car had several things that needed to be repaired. He got the original estimate and got it brought down by several hundred dollars by looking for the parts in different places. It was going to take a week to do all the repairs but he knew I needed my car, so he fixed a few things, put my car back together so I could use it for work and had me bring it back on my day off to finish everything. Very personable and I will definitely be back!

This was an awesome experience! I did need a lot of work done which did hit my bank account hard, but Charles did everything that he possibly could to make sure I got the best value and every discount that he could find. He did a LOT of research even during a particularly busy day for his business, which I appreciated very, very much. They performed a required state inspection on a motorcycle for title transfer. They were quick and thorough.

Once again, Charles, Demetrio and the crew came to my rescue when I needed them. This isnt my first time and certainly wont be my last either. When my former dealership {Hu****es) could not do my state inspection, they gave me a blank fail without reason and told me that I needed a diagnostic test. Not only were Meineke able to do the test, they also told me exactly what the issues were, priced me and fixed it. I passed the inspection. I almost cried from stress but in their true fashion, they gave me laughs and a tour of what and how they were going to do the job. It was finished in great timing. Needless to say, they are now stuck with me. I recommend going to this location BEFORE your dealership if you want it done right with quality. Out with the old, in with the new.

Really amazing service, came in with a tire leak and needing an oil change, I know nothing about cars and they were really professional. I’ve been to multiple auto care shops in the past and have always felt like I was being screwed over, Charles provided exceptional customer service and didn’t charge me for the tire leak.

I came here for the first time last year in November for an oil change. I received a 2 year maintenance car care plan when I purchased my vehicle which includes free oil changes from auto centers contracted with the company. This location was chosen for my car maintenance. When I arrived to get my oil changed, the store manager, Charles I believe was his name, was very rude and did not want to take me because I didn’t make an appointment ahead of time. The owner just so happened to be there and made Charles service me since I was already there. It blew my mind that the store manager actually went back and forth with the owner about why he shouldn’t have to service me right in front of me. He was very rude and unprofessional. Also, I was told it would be about 45 minutes and I waited well over 1 1/2 hours. After servicing me, he told me I had a license plate light out that they could fix for me. He charged me, but did not fix it. I guess he thought I wouldn’t notice. I had to return a couple days later for them to actually “fix it”. I question whether it was even out to begin with or if they just unscrewed it or something of the nature to try to make a little more money. After seeing I was due for another oil change about a week ago, I made an appointment ahead of time on their website since that seemed to be the issue last time. When I arrived for my appointment, now the problem is that I didn’t tell him I had the car care plan. He starts going on and on about how he’s “already taken 2, 3, 4 of these today” (the number kept changing) and how he “doesn’t make any money off of these” which is 1 unprofessional and 2 a lie. Meineke obviously has a contract with this company, so they clearly are making money. I ended up being refused service. I’m done with this place. This guy basically didn’t want to service me because I was spending a bunch of money at his store. I just recently bought 4 new tires at a different auto store. Had I had a good experience my first visit, I more than likely would’ve gotten them from here. This location needs to get new management who actually cares about gaining and retaining customers. There’s no reason to treat customers like this.

Charles helped me, had a great attitude and report with me and the customers I saw him deal with. Got quite a few things done for a great price, and he was helpful with the info I needed to get my newly purchased used car to tip top shape. Didn’t pressure me or upsell for no reason like other companies.

Im normally not one to write reviews, but Im the typical person who always checks them before going and giving my business anywhere. Well, long story short, Charles was so beyond helpful and would gladly go back in a heartbeat. Not only did he get me right in as a walk in (it was a matter of minutes that I walked in and my car was already getting looked at) but I mentioned to him if he could take a look at my taillight since I had gotten hit and my taillight was busted in; he immediately went to the back and had me show him what I was talking about. Safe to say, he fixed the placement of my taillight in just 5 minutes and its taken me YEARS to get this fixed. Even the dealership I had bought my vehicle from said they wouldnt help me (nor did they ever take a decent look at it). And on top of all of this, Charles and his staff voluntarily waxed and buffed out all the dents and scratches that were on my car from years prior that I hated looking at every time I stepped foot in my car. SO, would highly recommend going to Meineke in Lewisville! Thank you Charles!!

We took our 2012 Honda Odyssey to Meineke for some work to be done... To make long story short which has taken place over the course of a year Plus... The car had an oil leak... Valve covers... we couldnt afford the repairs so Charles said he can finance the repairs... So we did that.. Car is still not fixed and is still leaking oil. I took the car to Caliber Auto here in Flower Mound and they diagnosed the issues in like 3 hours. They told me that whom ever was working on this car did not do the repairs correctly which has led to many many other issues... The leaking oil has seeped into the cylinders which has caused the car to run really rough... The leak has ruined 3 alternators in the last year... which I have paid to have replaced. I called Meinekee Corporate and told them what was going on... They got another Meineke store involved because I didnt want the car sent back to the Meineke in Lewisville Texas. I felt that Charles had many chances to repair the car correctly and has Failed to do so. There is a long list of other things that are now wrong with the car due to Lack of Knowledge or just pure laziness on Charles part. I have NO faith in Charles... I have read several negative reviews about this man and dont want anyone to go through what we are currently still dealing with! So if you have a car that needs any kind of repair DO NOT take your car to the Meineke in Lewisville Texas on Main Street. Charles still works at this location and is Fuc*ing people over on a daily bases... I cant believe he is still working at this location.... He should be stripped of his ASE certification and Fired. We are out of pocket for almost $4,000 The other Meineke location has my car since last Thursday morning and have been trying to correct the issues and are still not having any luck. Where do I go from here? More to come... My Rating is ZERO STARS.

I have found my mechanic! I have brought my truck in 3 times for numerous things. Two of those times have been quick fixes and I left without paying ANYTHING! Besides being incredibly knowledgable and professional they are equally honest. They could have done underhanded things and charged me for things I didnt need but they didnt. Im really grateful for Charles and the whole crew!

I like that they email you a run-down of everything they do to your car, with several photos. Never had a place do this before. They did an oil change for me and got it done quickly at a decent cost. The only thing I didnt like was that it seemed like the manager was trying to convince me that my car needed several other things done to it that werent necessary. He seemed cool at first, but after this and also hearing the way he speaks to and about customers, he comes across pretty unprofessional and non trustworthy. Hes pushy about reviews, too. Didnt really have a bad experience there, but also wouldnt go back.

I have always used this Meineke however, recently every time I go in I am being up sold. For example, I went in for oil and brakes. I had points for brakes so they should be free. I have to also point out that I have had no issues with the brakes. When I get a call back... I am told it will be over $600— yeah! no!! So needless to say I didn’t do that. Instead 2 filters and one oil Change later(synthetic) was $100– oh and did I mention I had a 30 percent coupon. That was with the coupon. So I used my points of the oil change and it was $59.00.... Did I also mention that one of the filters should have been free since when they did my mass air flow system they did put the filter back on and I had to get someone in San Antonio to do it since I was out of town.. I also told him if the issue that had happened and that plus $600 almost $700 was a discount and with the brakes being free from points. So now my days of going to Meineke on Main by the MacDonalds and Starbucks is over. I am sad that after all these years the shop has gone down in reliability and honesty.Why was the cost $600... well after a long very convoluted conversation I was told that he can’t warranty my brakes without 2 things being replaced even if they are bad or worn out and the brake line needs to be bled and some other line which I pointed out had just been done by them. He looked at his records and said “oh yeah.” So at that point the conversation was invalid.The positive of this story— the oil have always been good so they got 2 stars for that and I live pretty close by— so location. A good oil change and proximity are not a good enough reason to stay with a company that tries to up sell you.

I was able to make an appointment to get my oil changed. I liked that. The attendant at the desk wasnt wearing a face mask. Didnt like that. My oil change took an hour and a half due to a car inspection I didnt ask for. Not crazy about that. When I asked the attendant if I would be better off using the 30% off or the $17.95 oil change coupon, his reply was I dont know . Bad training? I used the $17.95 oil change coupon and my total was almost $30. Hidden fees? Not a fan. Wont be back, neither will my neighbors.

I have been taking my cars to Meineke in Lewisville for years. The service is great, the technicians are professional, and they keep you abreast of all details during the process. Honest car shops are hard to find. This one is trustworthy and clean.

I went in for a State Inspection and found out that several things on my 2006 vehicle needed attention before it would pass inspection. Charles was very friendly and helpful. Everyone at Meineke in Lewisville has been great to work with. Charles was so helpful. When I had been quoted an outrageous price from another store, he listened to my concerns and told me what needed to be done and what I could wait on. He helped me figure out my payment plan and even checked up on me and the car to make sure everyone was doing good. I have spent over $2000 over the past 1/1/2 at this shop for brakessway bar has broken twice and he refuses to fix it Charles the manager is very rude and aggressive and wont honor my warranty on the work hes done that was done poorly wants me to tell him how much I drive to work how much I drive my vehicle out of state to my Hometown how much I drive on a daily basis to and from work in which should not matter for me to get my car fixed he you will not even let me talk to the owner or give me the owners phone number to make a complaint against him I would not take my shop there if I had a choice please dont take your vehicle there you will be ripped off

I took my truck my truck to the Meineke off of Main St in Lewisville TX Thursday 11/5/20for what I thought was a water pump issue. I spoke with Charles, because he replaced my water pump last year. After arriving to the shop with my truck, we realized my belt was loose and on the floor. I called Charles Friday 11/6/20 to get an update, and he quoted me over $850, saying my pulley assembly needed to be replaced, I needed brakes, and a radiator flush.I told him I would be holding off on the brakes and the radiator flush. He then quoted me over $400 for the pulley assembly and the belt. After I picked the truck up and took it home, a family member mentioned he could take a look at it and possibly get it fixed for me.After purchasing a pulley assembly from Napa, we noticed that it did not come with a screw that would be needed. When we attempted to remove the old assembly, we realized it was completely missing along with the screw. I called Charles immediately, and he informed me that the pulley assembly (a METAL piece) had exploded and he no longer had it. He did give me the screw that was missing.After speaking with several other mechanics, I was informed that the assembly could not explode. They all advised me that the part was likely stolen off of my truck by Charles.These practices are dishonest and absolutely unethical especially in the times we are in.I work for a hotel management company that runs about 40 hotels, all of which operate shuttle vans. We typically use Meineke for all of the repairs needed on those vans. We have had no issues with other Meineke shops. I hope this shop is not a representation of what Meineke stands for, and this letter makes it in to the right hands.

Got an oil change, inspection, and two rear tires. Drove me to my work down to street even to be done during the day and I picked it right up! Always sweet and helpful :) reminds me of my old Meineke back home in Houston I used to always go to with my stanced IS300

Charles and his team at Meineke are the perfect example of excellent customer care. I came in having no idea what was wrong with my car. I was a walk-in. Charles asked for my keys and said hed take a look. He put it on the lift and looked at it and soon made a diagnosis. After he and his team thoroughly looked it over together, and in agreement he called me out and explained and showed me all the issues that needed repaired and why. (My car is 10 years old so I was not shocked.) Once it was decided, they went to work and it was done in about 4 hours and drives like new! Qualified financing is also available for folks who may need to look into that. They are very detailed in everything they say so you are able to understand, in case you know nothing about car maintenance.If youre looking for someone to take care of your vehicle repairs and maintenance with fair pricing, quick results and no grief, go over to Meineke and see Charles and his team!

Terrible experience as a new customer. The manager, Charles didnt want to honor valid coupons for this specific location! He actually said he was only going to do the minimum if he had to honor a 30% off oil change service coupon, right to my face. The greed and rudeness shown make me hope meineke does better to avoid hiring managers!! I was hoping for a much better experience but definitely do NOT recommend.

The manager Charles is a good guy and provides great service, I came in to get my brakes done and everything was done on time and the work was of great quality. I had called a few places before this Meineke and no one else could get it done same-day, but Charles said he could get it done the day of.

Probably the friendliest customer service Ive ever received. The guy behind the counter was celebrating his birthday and opening cookies offering them to customers. Super nice guy. Very knowledgeable about cars, easy going, low pressure, and a sense of humor. Really enjoyed my experience.

I got towed here after my Jeep broke down and I’m glad this is where I ended up. It of course ended up being a much more complex problem than originally anticipated, but Charles was very kind and helpful throughout the whole process. It’s never fun dealing with these issues, but it helps to have a nice person helping you and not twisting your arm into spending more and more money.

Meineke at this location is Hands down the place for customer service. I love this shop and the people that work there. The manager Charles greets me by name, is very honest and always take very good care of me and my vehicle! Only place I take my car for service. The mechanics are professional and courteous and get the work done. I have recommend them to family and friends. You wont regret coming here. They are my #1 place to have work done on my car.
