I was so impressed with the Home Team Moving. It was one of the best moves I have experienced. They moved my parents from my childhood home to a retirement community. The move went so smoothly. The moving crew worked hard, moved fast and worked well together. I kept having to text my father to tell him to hurry up and get to his new home since the movers were almost done! (He had stayed at old home for final clean out while I went to new home to tell movers where to put furniture.) My father arrived just in time and one of the movers opened up the front hall oriental red rug my parents moved and rolled it out in their new home just as my father walked in with his cane to check out his new home. I will never forget this grand red carpet welcoming the movers gave my parents!

I had a great experience recently with Home Team, they moved me from Arlington MA to Portland ME. The entire process was seamless, from Matt (I may have his name wrong!) in the office who did a virtual walk-through when booking, to Enrique who ran things during moving out and moving in, along with Oscar and Alex both days (and trainee JE on the first leg). I recently hired Home Team Moving for a move. The movers were great at protecting all of my items, and at moving me into my new home. They were also punctual and arrived in the time window that we had planned.I have rated the overall experience as 3 stars for the following reasons:1. It was difficult getting in touch with this company prior to my move. I found I was both calling and email them in order to get any response.2. There was an oversight/uncommunication regarding the final cost of the move. When I called the office, I spoke with Ben (one of the owners) directly and was extremely surprised by the way I was spoken to and with the way the conflict was handled. In essence, I was told that there was an under-communication, on his end, however, I would still be charged (not reimbursed) for an error on their behalf. Some of the logic used was that my move was a smaller job and during the initial phone conversation (we had 2) he stated he would not reimburse me for having a bad memory. I have never been spoken to like this, especially by a business owner.UPDATE: Ben reached out to me. He apologized for our previous conversation, told me how his company planned to correct things moving forward and offered me a refund for the drive time of the drivers (which was initially what was being disputed). I appreciate the follow up around this and the resolve. After the phone call, I received a refund notification via email. All in all, I am glad that action was taken to correct this.

Enrique, Alex, and Gorge just moved us IN THE MIDDLE OF A THUNDERSTORM, and somehow managed not only to get our stuff across town and into an active construction zone in perfect shape, but also kept all of our spirits high and the positivity flowing the whole time. I hired Home Team Moving to move furniture and other stuff to a storage unit. I am extremely happy with the experience I had with Sean, Enrique, and George. They were on time, explained my options for furniture padding/wrapping, moved quickly yet carefully, and overall worked as a team. The Home Team came highly recommended and they did not disappoint! We used them for two half-day jobs and they did a phenomenal job moving large pieces of of furniture without damage (to the house or the items!) and did an incredible packing our belongings/boxes in a 28 trailer for an out of state move. It was easy to schedule, the reply to my inquiry was prompt, and the quote was provided quickly.The guys arrived on time, wearing masks, and were very diligent about getting all our items into the truck. We recently moved locally and we found every aspect of working with Home Team Moving exceptional. We had to schedule our move quickly because we found our house and needed put our things in storage to prepare our existing home to sell. Ben was wonderful, scheduling our move into storage, providing flexibility on moving out of storage to accommodate for work being done on our new home prior to the move in.We had an outstanding crew lead by Julius that were wonderful to work with providing the moving help we needed with sincere understanding and support during a stressful life time change. Moving during the pandemic made it all the more challenging. The team was very careful to wear masks and socially distance so we felt very comfortable during a very uncertain time to move.For the move out, we planned to try to pack most of our things. Ben recommended that we touch base as we got close and we found that we needed to have team of packers to help us finish up. We had an outstanding crew lead by Ben and Julius that came in the day before moving out and helped us pack up everything from the fragile items, to the attic which turned to be a big job. Julius took a stop action of the pack-up with was truly amazing. The crew was so supportive and helpful in every way. The actual move out day was stressful but the Home Team moving group was so amazing that we did not have to worry at all about that part of the process. The process went smoothly and we were able to focus on the other aspects of the move while the crew handled the move out.Move in day was long but successful. The crew worked tirelessly moving our stuff out of storage and coming back to our previous home for remaining furniture that we still had at the house. They were very careful moving into our new home (and out of our previous home). We had new hardwood floors installed upstairs and they took great care of keeping them looking beautiful. They made sure boxes went where we wanted them and assembled the furniture. They did not leave until they asked and verified everything we wanted was taken care of. We couldnt have been happier with our crew.They worked a final miracle for us after the move. We have a hot tub that we love and planned to bring with us. Due to the rise in sales of hot tubs due to the pandemic, the well known Spa company that we bought it from decided to not move existing hot tubs for their customers. We found out at the last moment. Home Team Moving does not typically move hot tubs but Ben sent over our fantastic team and they moved the tub for us at a reasonable cost. On the way out, they moved a super heavy washer machine to the curve for us. We are so appreciative of them!We would recommend Home Team Moving to anyone and they will always be our first choice should we ever have to move again.Thank you, Ben, Julius, Matt and crew!

The crew they sent were outstanding. I had a complicated 3 destination move and the team of Andy, Julius, Brenny and Will were so conscientious and attentive to detail. I did a home move in 2017 and there were about six or seven movers and I got to know each one personally and each mover was super professional and really easy going. The company makes great hires. Despite the COVID19 pandemic Home Team was able to accommodate our move on short notice. The team moved our possessions from 2 different condos into our new single family and did so faster than I had anticipated with care and consideration. Our family was pleased with the teams ability to navigate tight openings in our new place with a piano, large curio cabinet, oversized couches, and fragile items. The team was friendly, even so far as to call my 3-year-old Sir. It was obvious how much thought they put into moving every piece. No damaged items. After getting our items out of the trucks, they were able to set everything up to our preferences. They made our move much less stressful and easier.

They moved my furniture to Life Storage where it was stored for two and a half months and then moved my furniture back to my apartment. I thought the movers did an excellent job; they even had to take apart my bed to get it out of my apartment and put it together again when I moved back. They were very courteous, honest, did very good work, and arrived on time. Their prices were very reasonable. The person who answered the phone and made the appointment was efficient and kind.

These guys were pros. They moved us across town last week and did a great job. Careful, efficient, had a good attention to detail, friendly and helpful. They put in a long day to load up their trucks at one place and unload at the new place in the same day but by the end of the day we were settled in and were very happy with the service we received from Patrick and his team of movers. My husband and I moved a year ago from the South End to Brookline and then recently had to partially move out of Brookline due to water damage. Not only did Bens team help us but they scheduled us quickly, adjusted to our schedule needs, boxed up everything beautifully (imagine boxes labelled with which shelves everything needed to return to!), but they were meticulous in moving things. Home Team moving has done four moves for me and every time their team has been professional and careful with my move. I first used them for some Boston area moves. When the time came that I had to move out of the Boston area, they were my first call. While they dont do nationwide moves, I was lucky they were able to take on my move. During the actual process, the guys checked in with us on the road and made sure everything was going smoothly for us as we drove out behind them. These guys are pros who listen and are friendly. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to hire movers.

Though they were a bit late due to their earlier move going long, they called me to let me know and arrived right when they said they would. They moved my 2 bedroom apartment from the 14th floor to a 3rd floor walk up without any issues and were friendly and professional the entire time. Great company and a great moving crew. They moved my mother to an assisted living facility after being in her house for 66 years. Some stuff was going with her, some to a storage facility, and some left at the house for donation. They got everything organized and were most flexible when we changed our mind about a few pieces at the end.

Home Team has now moved us twice (once from Boston area to West Hartford, CT) and then from West Hartford, CT to Washington DC). We were referred to them by a neighbor who used them to do a local move in the Boston area. She loved them and so do we! They were on time, the movers were very friendly and nice, and their estimate for the move to DC was $400 under! They were also much more affordable for the DC move compared to other national companies (and those estimates had our stuff on a freight truck that would arrive many days after we did). We packed up in CT and the next day we were unpacked mid-day.I cant recommend this moving company more! We have one more move left in the next two years and well definitely call them without hesitation.

Ive moved several times in my life, but this move by far was the best! Three strong, smiling movers arrived ON TIME, and in just 3 hours had the truck loaded. They zipped up and down stairs carrying at least 2 boxes every time (and I had over 100)! They beat us to the new home, and in another 2 hours had the truck unloaded (in pouring rain!!). They were friendly, cheerful and very, very efficient. If I asked them to do something, it was done in minutes. I could not have been more pleased with their efforts, they were absolutely excellent. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!!

I never knew moving could be so magical until now. I was on the verge of a nervous break down between having bronchitis and then giving them a 2 day notice that I wanted to move. I extended to 3 to manically try to sort myself out.I cannot begin to say how professional these gentlemen are. I think they took all of 10 minutes of a break to get hydrated during the whole process. It was also completed under the estimated time by 2-3 hours which is huge. I still cant believe how efficient they were in moving my 2DB from a 3rd floor to a 2nd. They constantly checked in on how I thought they were doing looking for feedback. They packed everything I couldnt after I ran out of boxes to help move things along. Overall they had a really positive demeanor and were so helpful once I got into the new place. They rearranged furniture. Everything was put together and nothing was harmed.I would move again just to hang out with these fellas again.

My sister Barbara Hammond set up my move to Youville Place. She has moved 17 times in 45 years, and says that this was THE BEST move ever. This was the 2nd time I have used Home Team Moving Co. and this was the 2nd time I would rate 5 stars, the customer service was spot on, the personality of my movers were great and they were some of the hardest working people. The movers showed up 15 minutes but called to verify it was ok which I respected. They took care of moving me from a 3 floor walk up to a single family home and they did it in what I believe is record time, they made it to my new home quicker than I expected them and then they were right back on track with speedy and respectful work. I cant say enough how happy I am and grateful for the help you guys provided me and I will make sure to reccommend Home Team Moving to anyone needing to move near or far.
