STOP and read this first. I had a garage service door installed on June 25, 2021 for $1350.00. The final workmanship is just awful!!! See for yourself in my attached photos. I called six times, left messages every time to either come repaint this mess or send me the paint and Ill do it myself. NEVER received a call back. So be careful they do not have any customer service, support, nor do they back up their work.

Have been waiting for some follow up service on a new door. The door was installed in April and I called for service within a month. One person came out and looked at it. It is now August and nothing has been done. Multiple texts and voice mails to the sales guy Dave, with no result. Would NOT recommend Taylor Door to my worst enemy

They did a great job, I had them do all the windows on my house. They worked very fast and was very professional. Only took them 2 days to do my entire house!!

The salesman Ben was very smart and professional, he helped me choose the style and color I was looking for. And they installed the door shortly after. I 100% recommend this company.

Was really nice on the phone and fair price for what I needed. Told me I was to expect a call from the service guy but its been 8+ days and not one call. Im not sure the reason. they had the best price. But due to lack of communication, I have to do business elsewhere.

My garage door fell off the track and they were able to come out same day and fixed the door.

My mother had an appointment for door measurement. The guy that we set the appointment with was very accommodating and set up the appointment. He did call to confirm that day of the appointment. I missed the call but he left a message to say he was confirming the appointment. I called him back within 15 mins of him calling me. He did not answer the phone so I left him a message to confirm and that we will be at the house and we will be waiting for him. Our appointment time came and went by. I called him again - he didnt answer the phone - I left another message for him to call me. No call no show. How unprofessional is that!!! I know he saw my number in his caller ID. He just ignored it. He could have called and resked with us if there was a problem. Still to this day I have not heard from him. I dont want to give him a 1 star but It wont let me post unless i chose one. He gets a big fat ZERO. I will NEVER use this company and will not refer this company to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

I just had two garage doors installed today. They look great and the process was seamless. Jay provided excellent customer service, which goes a long way with getting my business. I was able to schedule my estimate when I needed it. The job was scheduled when I needed it. The team was on time and completed the job quickly. I am very happy with choosing Taylor Door and Window.

In 2018 my mother spent 1700.00 on 3 new doors, quick to sell but LESS then a year later 1 of the screens came apart from the frame. Tried MANY MANY times to contact them for service but all I got was the run around, no promised returned calls. I give them a big fat F for backing up product.

Thank you Taylor Door! Last Wednesday’s installation of 3 upper level replacement windows was the easiest contractor purchase and install that I have ever done. Even though it was a relatively small order it was treated with full attention and timeliness. The crew, Howard and Darren, were so neat and efficient that my time was freed up sooner than expected! I am a detail person so when I went over the work before they left, I was impressed and extremely satisfied.Thank you so much Jay (owner), you run a great business and your team is top notch. Moving to a house requires to take care about your garage and that was what we did. The garage door was pretty old and it definitely needed to be replaced. So we called Taylor Door and Window Company and the respond to our call very fast and in a professional manner. Now we can enjoy how it looks and mainly how it works - perfectly! Thank you so much!

The worst people to ever deal with! Won’t even return a phone call, keep getting the run around and the oh yah the owner will call you back it’s been 2 months. I call in everyday and have not heard form this so called owner?! Then they have the nerve to say I was waiting on a call from you?! do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

I highly recommend Taylor Door and Window in Livonia. Jay delivered excellent customer service from initial contact to final installation. He is sincerely interested in providing quality and service at a reasonable price. Chris and Lee, our installation crew, provided excellent workmanship and attention to detail. They were polite and professional. The Fox Weld storm door along with the beautiful entry door and side lights are everything we hoped for. Attention to detail, fast order to install time, and an absolutely beautiful final product make this five star review easy!

These guys were great, we had our door installed back in 2009 and havent had a moment of problems with it and we even ordered a new gasket for the bottom to keep the rain out last year. They stand behind their work and product. Highly recommended. Amazing garage door supplier. Call if you dont want to use garage door repair :)

Awful customer service on the 4 entry doors purchased through this company. The owner, Jay, looked me in the eye, shook my hand, wished me happy holidays and has not come through with a lousy $265 credit for a repair I had done because his crew was irresponsible. Owner, agreed to pay only half of the repair bill but still no credit to my account. Sales representative was unprofessional as were the installers. This truly was the worst home improvement experience I have encountered.

We have been trying to correct a wrong since April and we still don’t have a screen door that fits. Come August. The customer service is lacking. Would not recommend.

Last week my garage door stuck in open position because a broken spring! I was late for work.. But! A called Taylor Door and Window Company and after few minutes came the best crew ever! They fixed everything and the day was great! Thank you so much for the quick help! Highly recommend for door and window suppliers and garage door service!

Horrible horrible company. I talked with them when we placed our order and everything seemed fine. We waited three months with no contact then out of the blue started blowing up my phone wanting to come out and put the order in the next day. Frank is very overwhelming and pushy. He was rude and disrespectful. He kept trying to talk me out of getting a permit and “does not remember conversations we have a few months before”. Save yourself! Do not go with this company.

WORST EXPERIENCE! I have been going back forth with them for almost 2 months now to return the wrong ordered garage door! And they won’t even call me back nor answer the phone!!

UPDATE: Jay called us out of the blue weeks later to rectify the issues. He was apologetic while he was in our home reviewing the issues, but the customer service and follow-up issues remained after he left. We were able to get new door handles with locks that have a purpose, but no one left any keys for us, so we cant actually use the locks now. We called Jay to let him know last week, and he laughed, and said he would mail us the keys. That was last week, and we still have no keys. Seriously, stay far, far away.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Customer Service is not existent, and the fact that the main guy is going through a divorce was used as an excuse for lack of communication and delays numerous times. Im not looking to air someones dirty laundry, but that excuse was at the ready many times, so I dont feel as bad. It was used as the excuse that he missed the estimate meeting, and we had to arrange for him to come at a different time to measure. My wife and I both work, so it was not very convenient.Our order with them took twice as long as estimated, and no one EVER reached out to update us. They were 2 hours late for the install appointment, parked their van with half of their wheels on our lawn (and didnt notice until we pointed it out), left trash in the house, left 2 doors installed poorly (dont close all the way without extra force), one of the handle locks isnt functional at all due to poor installation, and they have repeatedly said they would come out to fix those items, but we get radio silence. Oh and the locks? You can unlock them easily with your fingernail. Like EASILY. When they left, we tested the locks and realized they were pointless. So my wife called, and Fred was immediately defensive about it, talked over my wife and interrupted her, and said he would schedule someone to come out and look. No service call has been scheduled. They have acted like our request to have locks that you cant easily unlock from the other side is ridiculous. I guess were equally baffled by the locks.The doors themselves look nice, but they dont manufacture them. There was a chip in one of the doors, so we asked what could be done about it. The response: Paint over it.Theres more to complain about, but Ive spent enough time on this. Save your time and your money. Seek elsewhere.

Not sure what is going on there, but have been waiting 10 weeks for door and sidelight information. Salesman FF was excessively rude yelling at me, cursing and calling me names during the phone call after waiting 10 weeks for installation date. The owner finally called later in the day (he was supposed to call last wee) with a date. I will never do business with this company again.
