I went in to return my Spectrum cable box. UPS Stores are a free drop-off point for Spectrum. There was a line. I waited a total of 2 minutes to see an Associate. She handled my transaction, gave me a receipt and I was on my way. I have some items to ship soon. You can be sure, Ill be returning there for their great service.

Employees were super nice.. but while I was checking out, a man walked in without a mask on. I will no longer support companies that don’t follow their own policy that’s posted on the door that you must ware a mask!! To not care about the health and safety of your employees and customers is unacceptable. I will be using another service that does care about others and not just money.

Grsat, friendly staff. Clean, well lighted. They offer all types of mailing services including post boxes with suite numbers rather than OO numbers. Used to return Amazon shipments. Show your return bar code they package and ship. You walk out with the tracking receipt. Couldnt be easier.

The Best UPS Store location EVER!! Each time I visit this store I am greeted with a friendly smile and a welcoming “How may I help You?”Im a UPS Corporate HR employee and this really pleases me. I have visited other locations in the area and they don’t come close to the expert customer service I receive from this location. I will go out of my way to visit this location due to the respect they give to their customers.Owner of this franchise you are doing GREAT!

Went in to fax a large secure document for a federal background investigation. Not only did they handle my documents with care and privacy. Worst UPS store to ship anything, they will lose it. Poor manager, he wasn’t to concern about losing my package and made no attempt to track it until I called numerous times. The lost package was being sent to a family member which is very upset with me because the package was valuable to them.Thank you for great follow up tracking my lost package but your missing the point. The package had items which you realize that could put my family in danger if found by dishonest hands. You can keep the insurance amount that’s not why I am unhappy with your store. The safety of my family is the important, UPS may have put them in danger.

I like this store, I’ve been there like 20+ time now, I think the workers there are very nice, they make it personal, like they talk about my dress, then we started to talk about I bought it from Costco, one of the workers aunty bought one from there too. And I called them one time about shipping my id to China, they gave me personal suggestions and risks about it, which are very nice. You don’t see this kind of interactions too much now since corporate America pretty much owns this country, especially after COVID, so it’s so nice to have those interpersonal conversations.

It was a while ago, but I purchased a stone carving on eBay. When I received the carving it was not 18 inches long, but right at 13.5 inches. I sent pictures to eBay and they required the seller to allow me to return it. I did. The seller claimed that I had broken the carving before sending it back. Lucky for me, I had the ups store pack it and return it. The manager sent me verification that the statue was not sent back broken. eBay refunded my 3000 bucks. I would have been sol if I had not had it packed by ups and verified by the manager.

I sent two packages on Monday. Only one was delivered on time. The rep who assisted in packaging didnt bother to ask what delivery method I wanted (2 day vs ground). She almost forgot to put the right attention number on the second package. Only after I paid did she say that it was ground when I wanted 2 day. After calling UPS over the weekend to call the status of it, did they report it lost, and that I have to go to the store directly to confront about the issue. Absolutely annoying and nerve wrecking that I have to miss work to go back to a store that screwed up my package to figure out an alternative arrangement and file a claim.

I always end up at these places because I have to return either something to Amazon or something to AT&T, and boy do they make it extremely easy these days. I stopped at this location because it was on my way home—and it truly was a pleasant surprise.The employees here are extremely friendly, helpful, efficient, and informative. If youve ever been to one of these places, you know theyre not very big so it can get a bit busy and crowded depending on when you stop in. I wouldnt expect to wait more than a couple minutes though, so it really isnt a big deal.This location is situated within a shopping center so parking shouldnt really be an issue, though the parking lot can be a bit confusing with the overall way that its laid out—youll see what I mean if you stop in.All in all, if you find yourself in the area and having to ship something via UPS, I recommend using the services this location has to offer.

This UPS center is the absolute best I’ve ever had the pleasure to deal with. I am shocked at how far above and beyond the staff went to accommodate my job. Including Samir personally hand carrying my job to a location when I was unable to find a courier at the time. Samir is a stand out employee and an asset to the UPS company & David did an amazing prompt and fantastic job of getting my order complete very quickly. I wish all UPS centers had a staff as exemplary as this location!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have had so many wonderful experiences to share about this location, but most recently, I returned an item via amazon that was not refunded properly. When I contacted Amazon, there was no record of my item or the label. I called and spoke with a gentlemen that was so nice and patient; he provided me with every detail I needed to prove to Amazon that their system was wrong and to correct the mistake. He was fast and friendly. We have been loyal customers for years and will continue to be for years to come. Thank you for everything you do!

I use the UPS stores often in making copies of work prints for my job . All have been very good but store 3011 in Livonia has always given exceptional service. Of all of the UPS stores I have used they are by far the busiest I have seen. They are well staffed, well trained and provide their service quickly, and effervescently without sacrificing quality personal service! I salute the staff for a job well done.

I have used this store location once ONLY because they are closer to me, my transaction felt shady! The help was beyond RUDE and unprofessional later found out they over charged me, second gave false UPS tracking numbers once I contacted my dispute department at my bank regarding why I did not recieve a refund for my returns. Then when I tried to call the phone goes directly into a recording that disconects after the recording ends and when their website says open they are closed!? When you arrive. Went up three times at different hours on different days always closed!!! Beware this Store needs to be reported my Bank is looking into it.

As a small business owner, Ive been a customer at this location since the late 90s (back when it was branded Mail Boxes Etc). Eric and Liz have always been exceptionally friendly, helpful and willing to go out of their way to make sure my shipping needs are met. Their staff, too, is fantastic. If Ive got something really important to ship, I dont send it from anywhere else. If I dont have the means to pack a large or valuable item myself, I can count on Eric and team to do it right (you get what you pay for!). If theres ever a problem (damaged item or delay), I can call the store and get all of the information and support I need to make it right.

One of the best when it comes to customer service. Ive had excellent service every single time. Most recently, I walked in with 4 minutes left before their driver left for the day. I had an urgent package that needed to be sent right away. The employee (Sameer?) understood the urgency right away and rushed through the process to get my package out on time, all with a smile on his face. Highly recommend this location

This store is great, I go to them often. Eric (owner) is very professional and really cares about his customers. His staff is very friendly and helpful to cater to whatever service you are seeking. They are very willing to help in any way they can with your notary, shipping or printing needs.I had an issue with getting the right wedding invitations printed for my friends. I brought in their template and Dan (print specialist) helped me get the card the way I wanted it. He had them done very quickly and they looked great!Recommended, 5 stars!

I thought my options were, ups, USPS, FedEx, DHL etc. It turns out each UPS store can set the price they want, so now we have to find the cheapest UPS store?I ship an envelope to Canada on a monthly, same weight same, shape same everything. Every other UPS store charges me 27 dollars and these guys charged me 42.26.I Made a lable on line, I also called the international department and in both cases it was 27 dollars.This location is a rip off!! I have contacted the main office and will be demanding an explanation.

I am extremely thankful for the knowledgeable, helpful, and personable staff at this UPS store location. My father had just passed away, I had been cleaning out his house and needed to ship his vintage stereo system to California where I live now. Sameer was extremely kind and clearly communicated my options to make me feel like my sentimental belongings would be packaged and delivered safely. Other staff members were also very helpful, working with Sameer to provide a fantastic experience. So much so that I brought a few more items the next day to ship to CA. All boxes arrived on time and without any damages.

It is refreshing in this non-customer friendly world to walk into this store and consistently be greeted with a smile and hello. Efficient, friendly employees are the mainstay. The fantastic customer service that is guaranteed at the Five Mile store brings me back for all my shipping and printing needs-the employees even provide the most inexpensive method of shipping when asked -- even if it is with USPS. In my busy world that consists of mom and wife duty, a full-time job, and a small consultant business, I appreciate the professional service and one stop shopping UPS Livonia 5 Mile offers. Let me first start off by saying that I drove all the way from Madison Heights to Livonia just to go to this UPS store because of their great customer service reviews. I needed to ship a sensitive package off and trusted that this store would be willing and able to help me do that, and boy did they ever. Lara was amazing, making sure that I didnt miss a step and following through with communication and speaking to UPS directly when the package needed to be intercepted. I want to thank this store for their amazing customer service, attention to detail in their job, and the smiles and warm welcomes you get when entering this establishment. Eric and his team are amazing! Our students at Randolph Elementary wrote Christmas cards for a little boy in Maine that is sadly losing his battle with cancer. His wish was to have people around the world send him Christmas cards to help him celebrate his last Christmas. We shared this with Eric and without a second of hesitation said that his store would cover all the costs of shipping to get this special delivery to this precious little boy. The owners and staff at this location are truly second to none! Andie Apeland help me yesterday. WHAT AN ANGEL!!!!!! I staggered into the store weighed down with Christmas gifts and on the verge of tears. I had to cancel my flight to California at the last minute and was faced with having to mail a LOT of gifts, some of them very fragile. Andie met me at the door and relieved me of the heavy bags. Her smile, her willingness to help and her professionalism MADE MY DAY. She made it painless. She found a way to get the gifts delivered on Christmas Eve. My young niece will have her gifts Christmas morning. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Andie. She is amazing. I want to start by saying that I have been shipping from this UPS store for years and have always had friendly, prompt service. However, when I went in to utilize their notary service, the same friendly owner turned into a difficult, argumentative, offensive man. Despite our following the instructions on the form provided and providing two forms of identification, the notary/owner of the store refused to notarize the form because he felt the language on the form was unclear. Keep in mind, this was the form provided to me from the company, so I had absolutely no control over this; all I could do was follow the instructions stated on the form. He essentially assigned his own interpretation to what part of the form needed notary and said that the other signature, which did NOT need to be notarized on the form, had to also be signed in his presence. We left the store, returning 10 minutes later with the additional person who needed to sign. Once again, the notary/owner was rude, stating, I wouldnt normally do this, but I will as a courtesy. When I asked him what he meant, he said that because the language was unclear, he wouldnt normally sign. When I became irritated by this, considering he first said that he would do it with the third person present, he told the male I was with, I dont want to deal with these two women, referring to myself and the woman with me. What I cannot understand is 1.) why he didnt just state that he would not do it at all, even if the third person came in and 2.) why he took it upon himself to challenge the language of the form and create his own rules of what did and did not need to be notarized. There is no issue that he would later face, in terms of liability, as he would have also been following the instructions on the form, notarizing the signature that requires that. I dont think it is wise for a business owner to discriminate against half of the worlds population. Nor was it any of his right or business to interpret a form that was provided by a company, creating his own idea of how it was to be worded and signed. Needless to say, I was highly offended and irritated and will be taking my future business elsewhere.

Whenever I have unusual items to be shipped this is where I come to. They have your regular shipping points already in their computer system so you save time not having to fill out the same information each time you visit. Additionally, I use their printing service often especially for large format prints. Reasonable pricing for the nonstandard size printings.

I called to make arrangements to send a shipment to a company who has an account with UPS. I am doing this as a good-will gesture toward the company.When I was unwilling to dig into my own pocket for the packing costs and suggested that there must be a way for UPS to arrange directly for the packing costs instead of involving me, I was politely told, but with great indifference, to in effect, go to hell. And that they werent interested in any assisting to do business.

Stopped in during my lunch break to notarize a document. It was busy but plenty of employees there to help. Was in and out in under 3 minutes. The $10 fee for notarization was much better than my banks free service consisting of loads of questions and sales pitches.

Staff has no idea how to do their job.Brought in a package to be returned to manufacturer with pre-paid return shipping label. Shipping label has a standard 2lb weight and if weight is over 2lb’s, it’s tracked and billed to the original shipper(manufacturer). UPS associate would not take the package until a new label was provided. After I left, I called and spoke to another associate who said they could have taken the package.Took the package to a different UPS location. The package was received and shipped with zero issues.Don’t waste your time at this location.

First the good, the employees (with the exception of the owner) are incredibly upbeat and professional and they packed and shipped a package on time for the holiday two days before Christmas from Michigan to California. Now, the not good at all and the reasons why I will not be returning to this location nor recommending this location. The package that was shipped from UPS could have been shipped from USPS for a quarter of the price if it was not after hours. It cost over one hundred dollars for the service. However, I understood that emergent situation warranted the high price tag and promised I would never get myself into this situation again.Fast forward a year and a half later. I experienced what other unsatisfied customers have suggested, when you are not spending money out of your pocket the owner is unwilling to resolve the issue, customer service becomes non existent and the owner becomes rude.Heres the back story:Last week I called UPS (corporate) regarding my packages being re-routed against my wishes to this location. The driver indicated that we no longer lived at our address (which was untrue, I was at home awaiting said packages) and that is why they were delivered there. I was assured by UPS that all was corrected and they would come to my home. My packages were delivered to the UPS store once again.I picked up the packages at UPS and was asked to pay $15 to my surprise. The associate, who was extremely polite, looked to the manager for guidance. I explained my situation that UPS had made a mistake, indicated that I no longer lived at my residence and delivered them here. I calmly explained that I contacted UPS last week when this same mistake was made and they said the problem would not occur again. It seemed the owner did not listen to what I said and to my embarrassment lectured me on the services he provides and that he was a retail owner and needed to make his money for providing this convenience. The man was obviously angry so I was not going to prolong the conversation, if I did I surely would have countered that it was not a convenience that the packages were dropped off at this location rather than my residence, especially after talking to UPS regarding the problem last week. He asked for $5 instead of the $15. I found this incredibly unprofessional, nor did this solve my reoccurring problem. I wanted to leave this location immediately due to embarrassment but I also wanted to solve this delivery location problem. I suggested that the packages remain at the location and I would call UPS to rectify the situation. He said that was too much trouble and to just take the packages. I said, okay, thank you. As I was leaving I could here him speaking about me to his other associates saying that it was only $5 and I should have paid it.On a side note, I do not often leave unsatisfactory comments, I go out of my way to award those deserving of praise.Please fix the customer service issue so you can continue to provide the emergency services that some will inevitable need.

To whom it may concern,I am writing today to complain about the attitude of the manager on March 13th, 2018 in The UPS Store, 37637 Five Mile, Livonia, MI.Few days earlier, I went to the store to reship packages. Dan (employee) asked me if I wanted the company receiving my package to sign when they get it. With no further details, he didnt mention that it is charged for. I honestly was not aware of that simple request is charged for because it was the first time I reship packages. So I agreed. I paid and did not pay attention on how much I was charged for due to a rush hour at the store. I left and noticed afterwards when I got home. This is when I called back and spoke with Kathy. Kathy told me that she spoke with the manager and employee and I will be refunded the money and she nicely mentioned that in the future I should make sure that anything other than the email is charged for. She told me to come back and ask for an envelope with the money in it and I was all set.After few days, I went back to get the envelope. The manager was there. I asked for the envelope, and he asked me for further details. I explained with no hesitation. This is when he started getting uncomfortable. Dan came up and told him yes there is an envelope for her. The manager said, I am giving you this back as a gesture, but heres a LIFE ADVICE, you dont get what you dont pay for. I took the money and said thank you and left nicely. Here I am writing this. I did not want to answer rudely or belittle his position in front of the staff there. So here is my response: Even though I should have known better about how much I should have paid before saying yes to the signature request, and this is something I have learned personally from now on on services I will receive not from your store anymore, the employee Dan should have mentioned and explained that day since I told him it was my first time I do this even though my husband is a regular customer there. Second of all, Mr. Manager, even though I was nice to you, doesnt mean you can speak anything you want to a customer. You are not professional in any way that you approach your thoughts in the above manner. I have survived wars, family members losses from cancer, and other things that you were not worth that moment for me to mention them. So thank you, I have enough life advice. Know how to be professional and not to throw your insecurity and personal issue to your customers. There is a way to educate and deal with people. I will come back to the store when Kathy, who spoke better than the manager himself, is the manager.Mariam

They cant/wont print you a label by using the tracking number. I created a prepaid online and forgot it, they told me they had no way to print the label for me... So I shipped via FedEx instead and later canceled my UPS label/shipment. Will not use UPS again.
