Waste of time!!! Waited 45 mins past my scheduled appointment. Without properly examining the tire went straight to recommending purchasing new tires.

They are the best! My cousin and I walked up after close just wanting to drop off keys. A young man let us in, and despite being closed, Susie decided not only would they have my cousins tire checked for damage/repairs but to actually go ahead and do the tire replacement after hours. They were all nice and accommodating and gave my cousin the best deal she could get so she could get back on the road the night of her flat. This was super amazing.

Called the location in Lombard on Roosevelt around 8:20 am to ask if I “ needed” an appointment for tire rotate and balance. I was told no just pull on in and we’ll take care of you. My mistake, I should have asked how busy they were or if they “recommended” an appointment. But I would expect to be informed of the wait or appointment recommendation when I called.I arrived an hour later and pulled around to the “check in” spot and waited couple minutes before someone came and asked what I needed. I said tire rotation and balance. He asked if I had an appointment and I said no I was told I didn’t need an appointment.He said ok go pull into a parking spot and someone would come out to help me. I immediately got a text (9:35am)with a link to watch my position on the “wait list”. Cool right? After only 13 minutes someone came out and asked the same stuff and I gave the same answers. They said hold on and they’d let me know how long. My “wait list” link now said I was not on a “wait list”.(now 9:56am) I got another link that said my scheduled appointment was at 11:05- 11:25. The same person came back and I said “no way, you mean the first wait list was just for someone to come to check me in?” Yes it was…….so now it would be an hour to an hour and a half till they could get me in?! Crazy.Please just inform customers that you recommend appointments and your backlog times if possible.Customers would appreciate it.Thanks

I go to discount because after I spend so much they do everything free. Its awesome until you take a track car and ask to have the tires rotated and they deny you. I have never had a problem getting my slicks on til this location. Disappointing

They really have their act together at this location. It was a couple miles further away than the one I usually go to, but we got our tires and were out in a snap.

Had a metal piece in my tire. The service was quick. So impressed with their set up in and out in 30 min. We bought a set of Pierelli tires in 2018 and still have free tire fix. Great Service! staff was easy to work with, very friendly. ❤

I appreciate the communication and timeliness of this location. Someone answers the phone when you call. They are pretty clear on what to expect when you arrive. They have good signage and nice folks. They used the proper equipment to lift my car and overall it was a pretty straightforward process that took about as long to do as one would expect (15-20 mins) In the “would I send my mother there” category, they are doing a good job.

Mike was amazing. To on the phone service and in person service everything was handled professionally and kindly. Bought Goodyear wrangler duratrac tires a couple years back at discount tire and come in for tire rotations and balances occasionally and am always well taken care of. Will continue to shop at discount tire due to the customer service from people like Mike.

OUTSTANDING!* My Tesla gave me a Warning/ Possible Flat Tire. I drove here and they checked my air while I was sitting in the car in the rain. Do not go to this location. Made and appt only to sit there for an hour and 15 min for them to REPAIR THE WRONG TIRE. How do you miss a HUGE NAIL sticking out of a flat?? Technicians were standing around talking and stopping and taking their time. Had 2 little girls with me and the lack of urgency was astounding.

Every interaction Ive had with this place has been excellent, and today was no exception. My tire had a slow leak that I tried to have the dealer fix while in for an oil change, but they couldnt (wouldnt?) figure it out. The Roosevelt crew figured it out quickly, and it was fixed for free while I waited. I would never buy tires anywhere else. Truly outstanding service every time I come here, and the perks they offer their customers beat everyone else.

Pulled in right off the expressway with my tire going flat, almost $200 and less than 40 minutes later, Im back on the road. Very nice staff and they got me in and out in no time.

I came in to have all four tires replaced. I had them inspected and checked before hand. Just tire issues no other wheel problems. I pulled my car in, and they started working on my car changing the tires out. Afterwards when they were done they said I was all set and just as I was about to leave (literally driving away) told me that I was missing two studs on my front wheel. I have never have had work done prior AND have checked these tires myself before going in. I called the manager after checking for myself, to see if this was something we can fix since it wasn’t like that before I went in and they denied fault in full. This is unacceptable, DO NOT GO HERE.UPDATE:They called me and had me bring in my receipt from the mechanic I had my studs fixed at. After I brought in the receipt they offered to reimburse me for the entire bill of that repair. I appreciated the gesture and happily obliged. I am updating my review accordingly.

I got my tires here last year and I definitely can tell the difference on how my car stops in rain and moves thru snow. I like how they send you information about your tires and they do free Diagnostics and even repair your tire for free when purchased with them. I will buy again when I get another vehicle in the future.

This place is great! Ive had very good experiences each time Ive needed to go in. Its easy to communicate with the staff and appointment scheduling is easy. Shout out to Dave who was a big help recently with getting me in for an appointment when I wasnt able to be on time for the one I had scheduled due to outside factors. The staff are also respectful and friendly.

Theyve never steered me wrong and have always taken good care of me. If you need tires, rims, a repair, or have a question about them this is the place to go. They also have a free air check which is great and quick even on my heavy duty truck tires going to 80 psi. I recommend them highly to anyone that needs their services.

Thanks to CoVid.... Their main entrance is closed off and there are 2 lines that start at the back of the building that youll need to drive through. Follow the signage.First line: Usually the longest. Air-check. Its free. Second Line: for all appointments, yes. Youll need one prior to getting anything done. Youll need to physically get out of your car to scan the code with your phone, on the sign, to check-in. Then youll have to find parking and wait in your car. Once you check in on their site, itll display your place in line and then in about 15-20 minutes, sometimes 30min, if theyre busy, a discount tire employee will come out and check your tires. Then they will let you know when youll get to drive your car into the bay. Ive had to go there twice in the last month unfortunately, once for a tire rotation and second for a flat repair. I was in and out of there from the time I checked in, about an hour total, for both visits. Theyve always been friendly and professional. Never had a bad experience. Ive been coming to this location for many years and will continue to do so. I will never go anywhere else for my tires.

We never go anywhere else. We always get a fair price, they are quick and they make getting new tires or getting a tire repair as painless as possible. Every single person I have had an interaction with over the last ten years always makes me feel welcome and makes sure I get the help I need.

Tim was rude and had used car sales man practices. Miraculously my tire that could be repaired now could and the tire was already in the recycle pile. Just want to sell $1000+ tires. Would not work on pricing as a very loyal customer. He became rude and angry when I didnt agree with his offer. I drove to my local Discount Tire in Glendale Heights and I was talked to like an adult, respected as a person and got a deal for 4 new tires from Erik. Lesson learned. Stay away from the Lombard Discount Tire. Wish I could give them a zero

I had a slow leak in my rear tire. I stopped expecting to replace the tire. The sales rep came out to evaluate all 4 tires. He advised me that I had a few months left on all tires. He discovered a nail and repaired my leak for free. No pressure. While waiting, the staff came out and offered everyone a bottle of water. Great customer service.

Worked out great!

Set an appointment to have 2 tires replaced. When I got there and checked in their customer que stated I was the only one in the que and next in line. And there was NO ONE else in the lot waiting. However someone pulls up in and is immediately serviced. Instead of owning up to the fact that I was skipped they decided that making me look crazy was a better option. Stating that this person was checking in at the same time. If they had simply taken accountability and acknowledged the fact that there was a mixup i would have given five stars.

I came in this morning, without an appt. They were very organized and I waited in my car for maybe 15-20 minutes the app keeps you updated about your turn in line. They got me in I had to do my own test drive, afterwards I explained to my best what the car was doing. They swapped all my tires under the warranty gave me an upgrade and I only paid for the new warranty.

They patched my tire for free!! I was in and out in about 45mins, very friendly. Of course time depends on the time of day and the service you are getting done to your car.

Despite getting there like 5 minutes before closing they to cate of me . I told them I got a flat right of 83 on my way to work. They right away working on it and was out like 20 minutes. Thank you guys so much for saving my day.

It told me exactly the problem I had and even showed me other problems I didn’t even know I had. Even though it does say discount, be ready to open your wallet as a set of their cheapest tires will set you back half a grand. They are serious about covid-19 as well, making sure everything is sterile and distanced. Overall, great place, but don’t let the name fool you

Whats the point of an appointment if they make you wait 45 minutes to an hour AFTER you check in for your appointment to even look at what the issue is? Friendly people, prices are the prices, but the scheduling is a tool to just appease people. For the business people who live and die by calendars/times where your every hour counts, do not come here.

These guys are always at the top of their game. Got a bad puncture flat earlier in the day. Got to the shop early afternoon and they replaced my tire with a new one in about 30 minutes. 👍

I came in to have a tire repaired or replaced if beyond repair. I had bought 4 brand new tires from discount tires, at the time of purchase the sales associate said if anything were to happen to any of the tires that they have a warranty up to a year and I can bring in the tire or tires in to be repaired or replaced for free. By this time its only been 9 months. With that being said I called in to see if this still stood correct and asked Micheal J Dugan if the warranty covers this and he responded yes they will take a look at the tire and to bring it in. When i arrived the sale associate, Micheal J Dugan came out to look at tire to do an evaluation. He came off rude and short, not friendly what so ever. Then a mechanic who was very nice throughout the entire process directs me into the garage and lets me know i can have a seat in the lobby. I expect to be filled in about whats going to happen by Micheal but instead he just stays typing on his computer and leaves then returns only to let us know hes finished and my car is ready. Then Micheal rings me up to $58.34 of course after work was done. It felt like a trap, he just gave me a look like the work is done so.... Pretty much he lied about the warranty over the phone just to get me in there then didnt speak about price till after they performed the work. He was highly unprofessional and unruly.

I ordered wheels and tires for my 4runner. They took 3 weeks to come in which is understandable.The wheels I ordered did not fit so the rep suggested I get a pair of wheels that were in stock.The wheels that were in stock did not fit properly and rub like crazy.One rep suggested I trim my bumper.The other rep suggested I only lift the front as the back is already naturally higher.The manager suggested that these are better since they were $100 dollars cheaper like that makes a difference when no I am going to have to spend 1k to lift this car which I did not want to do.I came to discount tire to order my wheels and tires so that they would fit and not rub.If I wanted wheels that rub and require a lift kit I could have ordered a pair online and gotten the exact wheel and tire I wanted.I have purchased a set of wheels and tires from the Romeoville DiscountTire for my Sierra and they were off Road tires and wheels. I told the rep there the same thing I want “meaty” with side wall but I need it to fit stock and not rub.They got it right.

I arrived without an appointment as i had a flat. Although it took about 4 hours for my turn. Upon registration all tire punctures are repaired for free. That was a pleasant surprise given the other places who charge you 35 bucks and u still have to wait a couple of hours without an appointment. The staff is very courteous and helpful in answering all your questions. Will come again

I have always had a good recommendation for Discount Tires in general, but last week I went to get my front tires rethreaded to avoid a potential blowout on my driver side. Initially I was afraid I wasnt going to be able to get this done on a weekday because of my busy schedule, but Dave was able to not only help me out with my two tires, but also mentioned my spare needed to be flipped. I greatly appreciate the swift and amazing job they did, I couldnt be happier. My car is finally gripping the road the way it was intended, I shouldve done this a long time ago and would highly recommend others to get their tires checked too!

I had a nail in my tire in called Sam’s Club where the tires were purchased, and after waiting on hold x2 for >25 minutes both times I was told a 3 week wait time for an appt. called just tires in Lombard and Dave was able to get me an appointment within the hour! Tire taken care of for free. I for sure will be back in the near future to get my set of tires purchased here! Everybody was friendly, courteous and gave best service thank you Dave for your help. Today I want to thank the service team of Discount Tire on Lombard. I normally go to the one on La Grange, and today I did not had the best experience with them over the phone. Therefore, I decided to change over to this location. I want to thank Josh for being so polite over the phone and finding me an appointment time that was convenient for me and my schedule. During my visit Dave and his team were very polite and took care of my tire service supper fast, compare to my previous visits at the other location. Thank you very much for your help!

Fast service. Had a flat on an older tire, got two new tires installed and balanced in about 20 minutes. Everyone was waiting outside. They have two lines, one for air/tire checks and another for tire service.

They were great at inspecting my tires, making tire recommendations, and scheduling my appointment. However, when I went in for the appointment I waited 10 minutes to be checked-in, then another 40 minutes just sitting in my car with no updates. I just left and found somewhere else.

I seriously cannot stress how great of a location this is and how great the people are.They are in it to help their customers. Not the average sales focused tire shop that takes women and people who dont know cars for a ride. This discount tire was decent they hooked my audi with a sick wheel set for my car I was very pleased and happy nothing but greatness.

I went to Chicago to pick up my friends bird who went missing 2 months ago. Upon my return to her house to drop him off I got a flat. Thankfully I made it to the shop where everyone was wonderful and welcoming. It was busy and they were working on generator power due to the storm. So waiting the 2 and a half hours was nothing for me or for Froggy (the bird). I wish I could give this place a lot more then 5 stars for helping me so much and for allowing Froggy to chill with me inside so he was not in the heat.

I had a 9:15am appointment here on 10/12/20 and arrived a little early and still wasn’t seen on time. I went in for tire inspection because two of my tires were leaking air on my 2017 Kia Sorento. My car was finally taken into bay for inspection and gentlemen came back and informed me that one of my tires couldn’t be repair because of where the mail was located. Then I tell him ok just replace my tire with the same brand of tire already on my car. The tire was not in stock so he supposedly order the same tire and I was able to go back in later in the day to have it put on car. I get there and all of a sudden I need another appointment so I made one and waited over an hour. Now the tires are finally on my car and I’m off the lot. I go over my service receipt to find out that the guy ordered the wrong tires and they were a more expensive tire. I have gone here before with no issues and have recommended people to the Lombard location. Beware if you are a female they will try taking advantage of you and upscale you on tires that you didn’t ask for. I will no longer recommend this location and probably will not be return myself. I was hoping to give them a five star rating like last time I but no. I now understand why another customer was going off on them and threatening to take his business elsewhere. Do better people because my first time using you a few years ago with tires for my Malibu was awesome but this time I really have nothing good to say. FYI give the customer the tires brand they ask for and not be sneaky and side a more expensive brand on there car.
