I have had nothing but bad experiences at the Lombard location. Will never bring another vehicle there even for an oil change.

They told me that my car was too rusty to be lifted safely to get an oil change that I was using a coupon to get. My car must have really deteriorated quickly because I had a new transmission installed in March. There was no mention of rust being a problem by the transmission company.

Dave needs a lot of training in talking to customers on the phone.Otherwise they do good work

I drive 40 minutes from the city to come to this Firestone, specifically. Everyone here is great, their hours make it super easy to schedule. David is a prime example of excellent customer service and explains in thorough detail what needs to be done and why. My car always feels better when leaving and I feel confident the work has been done by knowledgeable, honest people.

I would recommend the Lombard Firestone to anyone. I’ve never written a review before, but based on my experience with Jim, I needed to give them a shout out. He and the team provided outstanding customer service in replacing my car battery. Will definitely be going back here for future service.

David was kind and knowledgeable. answered all my questions and concerns. Clean facility inside. As far as installation it was good but messy wish they would have took the extra time to wipe the white sealer foam off my new tires and rims with a rag not a big deal but after spending 1200$ u think you’d put in the extra 2min to wipe the mess. Over all good experience.

I visited the place in March. I waited around 3 hours long for my car maintenance. They forgot to do the tire rotation for me and tried to charge $40 for changing my cabin air filter, which is the easiest thing to DIY and it was not needed to be changed at that time.But overall I liked their attitudes, the front desk gentleman started to talk in a more respectful way since he knew I am an automotive engineer lol. And the service actually is cheap, I think I’ll still go there but make sure they won’t forget to rotate the tires.

Ask if the techs are ASE certified. I found out after the brakes were done on my car. They told me after the fact. I only found out because the customer in front of me was told to go to another Firestone location where the techs are certified.

Took my car in to have tire fixed and have the tires rotated. Afterward not only was the tire not fixed nor rotated, but they insisted I needed my rear brakes done. Spent 4 hours waiting for work that I didnt even need. To top it off, when I set up an appointment to get the work done correctly this time, I insisted I wasnt waiting and if so Ill schedule another day. I get there and the manager was not only very rude to me but said there would be a 3 hour wait. There is a huge attitude problem and lack of responsibility at this shop, not wasting my time there again!

Friendly, timely service. Im not a car guy so I had to ask a lot of questions, and they broke it down for me in terms I could understand. Fairly priced and just a real pleasant experience.

The Lombard team is amazing! Answered all my questions, kept me up to date, and got my car done in a timely manner! I will not be going anywhere else! When there is a positive experience, rarely, people think to stop and write a good review! Awesome job to everybody here!

These guys have been working on all my cars and my friends & family’s cars for years. Always amazing service, never have to worry about being ripped off or paying for something you don’t need. It’s so hard to find a good honest mechanic. Jim is a great guy. Friendly service, he explain what needs to be done and why, and what’s recommended but not required. Couldn’t ask for anything more!

The Firestone in Lombard, IL does high quality work. After working with James and his staff I see what true customer service is. Not only myself but my entire family now goes to this location. I now live over an hour away and I still will only come see James. I have never felt safer in my car. They go above and beyond for their customers.

Yes, never again. Mechanic was a decent guy and admitted he couldnt perform the 4 wheel alignment due to the front tie rod nuts wouldnt come loose. I believe that backing off the nuts and using a lubricant to soak the nuts and work the lubricant into the rusted threads would have been better than heating it up 3 times. He told me he would have to charge more for labor? He just ruined my tie rod, I replaced not even 5 months ago? Josh tried to charge me anyways as I said he didnt do the alignment properly. He told me I wasted their time as a customer and he would put me in the computer as no customer to return to this store and told me never to come back. Well you got it Josh! I told him I would contact corporate and he replied, he doesnt care. No wonder Ive never come here. This is a stay away from place for sure, with no customer service. Josh should be fired! They should replace my Tie rod since I just put it on not long ago. What a joke of a place here in Lombard.

All the staff at Firestone Lombard are professional, knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating. I have complete trust with them. Would highly recommend for any automotive needs.

Jim, and David are great a dvisors at the Lombard Firestone. They show professionalism, Knowledge, and kindness. There customer service skills are are the best I have encountered at an auto repair establishment. I was privileged to have a mechanic Andrew to work on my vechicle. I have been coming to this location for over 5 years . I cannot express how great the service is. The staff is always great and very accommodating to our schedules . All the work we have had done over the years has been great .

They are super friendly but their prices for a set of tires for my truck were 400.00 more than anyone else around. Everyone else was having labor day sales, I had to go with someone else who fit my budget.

I surprisingly didn’t have to wait long for my oil change and the realignment of my tires even though they were short staffed. Manager was very nice and gave me the lowdown on an issue with my car and was very honest and helpful.

I was 15 minutes late for my appointment because of traffic so I came in the store apologizing, and Megan (sp?) treated me so kindly! She even went over which options would be best for my car, which other oil change facilities usually don’t do for me. They let me know they were a bit behind.. yet still ended up completing my oil change in a timely manner. I will definitely be back to this location because of the friendly staff and timeliness!

I had all four tires installed recently at Costco and needed wheels alignment and tires balanced. I called this shop and they were open on Memorial Day and when I took my car that morning, I met Adam . He was courteous open and very responsive to my needs. The job was done very professionally. I was impressed and would recommend this place highly!

David the manager was absolutely wonderful and Sean our mechanic worked overtime on a Saturday night to get all of our brakes replaced by 5:30 p.m. when we brought the car in at 2:00 p.m. they all seem to really care and they are all really friendly and I would recommend Firestone for anybody who needs car work.

They have always been fair and honest at this particular Firestone, at least. Always willing to apply coupons even without asking. Service on the vehicles has been done very well. We have been taking our vehicles here for quite a few years and will continue to do so.

Jim and his crew are the best! I’ve been to a few different shops in the area but Firestone beat them on price, service, and quality. They are definitely my “go-to” shop. If you are in Lombard or the surrounding area, this is where you want to go.

The rush of holiday season is upon us. As I drove to my first holiday afternoon party this past Sunday my vehicle was making a loud horrible sound as I drove on the highway to my destination. I learned that something was dragging on the ground causing sparks. My fear of finding assistance on a Sunday at the end a workday before a Christmas Holiday was becoming a reality. As I drove to one location to another my chances of finding help became reality until I was referred to Firestone Complete Auto Care of Lombard. I called before driving to their location. Service Advisor, David Marx was welcoming on the phone and mentioned they were extremely busy with three hours of work to complete with one hour left on the clock. He did not turn me away. He encouraged me to continuing driving to their location and he would do his best to assist. Upon arrival, the technician David Diaz took my vehicle to examine the issue. The service exceeded my expectations. The service advisor, David Marx provided a service like no other; welcoming, fast and extremely professional. I truly experienced the spirit of Christmas. I recommend Firestone Complete Auto Care of Lombard to all my family and friends.

Had a good experience here. Got a flat on sunday night. Dropped the tire off 7 am the next morning (today). The gentleman I spoke with, Jim, was super nice. He called at 8am and said it was fixed. Drove the car up there and they mounted it on the car in a few minutes and we were out the door. Good price, nice people, fast service. Second time weve used them to help us fix a flat and well come back the next time too.

En route to Iowa and tire light went on. Stopped and had it checked out and had fantastic service and advice from Megan Curtis. Was back on the road quickly with piece of mind and fully inflated tires.

The lady at the front desk is just rude. I have 2 different interactions with her and both times she was just plain old rude. She gives the rest of the staff a bad rep because she is first person you experience. Hillside Illinois. The Firestone in Lombard Illinois is awesome. The people there are very kind and accommodating. Every time I go there I get great customer service. If I were recommend a Firestone it would be the one in Lombard Illinois not the one in hillside Illinois. What a difference a few miles further West will make.

It’s a great auto center

They do a good job here with your vehicle and trying to accommodate you. Go first thing in the morning and you will have a good chance of getting taken care of that day. They actually call you here to let you know your car is ready.

Rob and the manager Jim are wonderful. Ive delt with the completion in the past and they are nowhere close to these guys. There prices were fair, they had great customer service, and they got me in and out. They recommended additional services (that I knew I needed done) and left me feeling great. On top of all that I am extremely happy with my new tires. Thanks for the wonderful experience Jim and Rob.

Went to get a standard oil change and this is the service I got after the oil change:No brake inspection, no fluid inspection or top off, didnt check air and cabin filter, and no customer service explanation at then end.But did tried to sell me tires (printed a quote) and how badly my car needed fuel additive. Selling was more important than providing quality customer service.And by the way, the new oil change looks dark instead of the amber color.Never going back. Be aware future customers.

Rob, Austin, and Brian are great. They are informative, helpful, and kind.Austin is a great technician, knows his stuffBrian, was great at the front desk, and knows alot.Rob is the Superman of Firestone. He multitask well, while simultaneously servicing customers with a smile and efficiency I have never seen in an auto shop.Truly a great crew at Firestone Lombard, and although I live in the city, I come here particularly for the service!!!

I recently relocated and I still come back to this location to get my car fixed. The staff is very cordial, the inspections are cheap if not free, and they never try to upsell you on any service. Everything is straight forward and the work is done quickly. I recommend these guys.

Recently I got the lifetime wheel alignment here. I would highly suggest this to anyone who is considering this. The lifetime alignment cost $149 for the life of you owning the car. This is a pretty good deal considering a typical alignment runs for ~$50-70 each time you take it in at any other shop. The terms and policies mention that Firestone will perform an alignment every 6,000 miles or when an alignment is needed. Additionally, this particular discount did not try to up sell me on anything extra for the car. Their staff was also very friendly and courteous.

Dont go to this place if you want your problem fixed. They make up a bigger problem in your car and tell you that you need to get it fixed, charge for it and at the end of the day they tell you that the problem might be something else and they need to do further diagnosis. I had gone to another auto care center and found out that there was actually not a big problem with the car.I HAVE ADVISED ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY NEVER TO GO TO FIRESTONE.

The tires were definetly not on the cheap side but quality. The sales rep was very good at conversing and did try to upsell me, but thats to be expected. At least he understood the word, no. The installers took their time and double checked their work.

I had an appointment here this morning for a tire replacement after work and Josh (I think) at the front was very professional and the mechanic worked quickly, in and out in about 45 minutes. I really appreciate these guys working Christmas Eve!

Old story - caught a huge nail in the left rear tire. The shop was eager to sell a single tire to replace the flat without checking wear of other tires. The car that has about 50,000 miles and original tires. On my request they checked other tires and found that the other rear tire is pretty low on the thread. Ended up replacing flat tire was a spare to get home. Will be replacing all four tires.

Needed brakes halfway through a trip through the mid-west. Researched what the anticipated cost should be and called Firestone on a Sunday morning. They were honest and fair, clearly explained everything, and completed the job within an hour and a half within budget. Couldnt ask for more!

They did proper assessment on my damaged tire and suggested fix accordingly, unlike the guy at NTB who just did a quick check and said right after that I needed new tires! Highly recommended!

Made a 10 a.m. appointment to have a screw removed from the tire. I had already removed the wheel and had my wife take it in. They said to come back and pick it up ~2 hours later. Poor customer service. What is the point of an appointment for a ~15-20 minute job if you cannot wait on it ? To top it off, they damaged the bead on the tire taking it off. The only redeeming point was that these were older tires and I was planning to replace all 4 before next winter anyway. I have an appointment elsewhere for this...

Took in 3 tires and rims to mount 2.5 days later I had to pick them up and take them down the street because they cant find hi- pressure valve stems . Really kids at work .dont go there !!!!

VERY BUSY LOCATION ( BECAUSE THEY ROCK !!! )TOOK MY BMW FOR A PPI before I bought from Dream Car Chicago (near by)... Jim and Adam looked over the car in great detail and even showed me some things I should anticipate in the future (class act all the way).

I took my SUV in - they said they would replace a cylindar - they didnt - they charged me and said they replaced the part. When I took the truck to another place - I found out they never replaced the part. I was not happy I would not recommend Firestone.

So i pull in to the lot and its a 1hr before there are scheduled to closed, At all garages you pull near the garage and employee driver it in ask why you are here. Mind you the place is empty only one car up on a lift not busy at all. An employee comes running to me went i get out to yell at me. Wait what. Dont i see plenty of parking. Wait a minute this a garage not walmart. I have never been yell at for pulling up i need alot of service will never go here. You guys need to respect your customers and speak to them with respect....

Great customer service! Hans was great. My car muffler was close to falling off and all the local shops were closed. I pulled in, told him my problem and even though they dont fix mufflers, without any hesitation, Hans brought my car in, lifted it up and used a wire hanger to fasten my muffler so it wouldnt fall off on my way home (another 30 miles). If I lived close by, I would definitely go here whenever I needed some service. Thanks Firestore and thank you Hans for allowing me to make it home safely.

Adam and Shawn went above and beyond when servicing my car. They had great communication and I could tell they were working hard.

I had an appointment this morning at 7:00 a.m. when I get there the gentleman tells me O sorry we dont have your tires in you can come back later. I asked him why he didnt call me he said he didnt wanna wake me up well did you think I was just gonna magically show up at 7 oclock and not have to drive there you should have called big waste of time.

They have always been straight forward regarding repairs and get repairs done in a timely manner.Recommended.

1. My oil change appointment took forever. Why does it take over an hour when you make an appointment and the only thing they do is change the oil? It takes me less time to do it at home!2. After changing my oil recently, I noticed that the oil flowed like water out of my oil pan. Supposedly they had put full synthetic oil in my engine but judging by how badly the oil had degraded I dont believe they used full synthetic.3. Is it a law of oil change places that they have to try and up sale you for a brake fluid and radiator flush and replacement every single time I visit?

Did good by me. Just wish they could have found the reason for the engine light being on.
