I have rented space for the last three years and I am very pleased with the unit. The property is well taken care of and I truly feel my items are safe. Now the negative is be ready for the cost of your rental to increase every year. It can be expensive,but I guess that’s the nature of the business. But the unit has been very helpful.

The property outside is always clean. However, the inside could use a bit more tending to. On my last visit, I noticed a team member, Olivia walking the facility. She was pleasant and eager to assist me. After showing me the “trick” of securing my unit, we walked to the office. For the first time, the office was clean, clear of the cleaning cart and smelled fresh. Thank you Olivia for your extra effort.

Friendly staff, conveniently located, temperature controlled, and clean spaces. Prices on units are great, with the amenities and convenience it makes it worth the money. They also have discounts active duty military.

Use this place for my winter items during the summer months, Calvin the new gm is great and always ready to help out ! Thank you Calvin for making my stay enjoyable ! See you next summer !

Stayed for 3 months good facility they got more transport carts while I was there so we no longer have to wait to take stuff inside

Calvin H. Jr. is the BEST!!! I have been doing a lot of business with Self Storage Plus recently and Calvin made everything a breeze. I could call in advance to check availability of a unit, request a lock with scissors be waiting for me when I arrived for my 2nd, 3rd or yes... 4th unit. If I had to dash out before I got to see him, he would call me to check status!!On one occasion, he was on a call offering to assist a customer overdue by a couple months with a unit headed for auction. She had an interesting perspective on her contractual obligations and partial payments. This woman ranted and raged at him. Nevertheless, he was the perfect professional. He provided his name, his managers name, assured her he was not a new employee and the number of years hed been with the company... All while trying to explain what he was trying to do to help her. It was to no avail. She wouldnt listen and ended the call. He hung up, greeted me with a smile, apologized for the delay and asked how he could help me.The best part was when Id come in haggard and all out of sorts. He looked up and could see the distress written all over my face. He simply asked if everything was okay. I told him it wasnt. He gave me an apologetic look and acknowledged my honesty. A lot of people would just say yes and moved on. That was priceless and meant the world to me. At that moment, I wondered how I could live without him. He is such a gem!! Thanks Self Storage Plus for having such a magnificent member on your team!

One of the best storage facilities I’ve seen only downside is that there are only cameras at the entrances and the ones in the elevator I’ve notices doesn’t show up on screen in office however I always see Calvin the manager walking around the property ensuring things are secure . 4 Stars !!

This place is clean and safe but they kept dropping our military discount and it would take us a while to get it fixed and then kept raising our rent. Now when we are going to move out they refuse to give us money back if we move out early. So we are going to take our time moving out. I really liked this place but we cannot keep paying those prices. Especially if they are going to keep going up.

Great storage facility. Well-maintained and clean. The climate control worked well. Plenty of carts for use and decent access hours. Staff on site is very friendly and professional. We only rented short term 6 months while our new house was built, but would recommend to anyone for short term or long term rentals.

Sarah has been great to work with! I just started renting a unit here and everything has been terrific so far. The facility is brand new, clean, and all the security cameras look to be in working order. The rates are the most reasonable in my area (and Im a pretty thorough comparison shopper) and the first month is free. Easy access to the building right off 395 and Edsall Road as well (one left turn and youre there).

Wow is all I can say. I needed a place to store seasonal/not often-used items on a somewhat permanent basis. Since this will be long-term, I also really wanted decent customer service. Spending several weeks and countless hours researching multiple storage unit options (reading many many reviews), I decided to rent from CubeSmart Lorton location as they had the best reviews. I booked a reservation online and was called within a few hours by a manager to confirm. I went in to sign the contract, and the manager on duty introduced herself and shook my hand. The other employee was in the back, but when she came out she also shook my hand and introduced herself. The location was SPOTLESS. Signing the contract was incredibly easy, and I was also able to set up auto-pay right then and there. Coffee & water are always available. Carts are easily found. I cant get over what a great beginning this has been. Everyone Ive communicated with has been extremely professional, well-groomed, knowledgeable, & polite. You can tell they are trying hard to compete with other name-brand storage units & that they want to come out on top.

Easy location to get to. The prices were way better than other storage facilities we looked at. Store was bright, clean and staff was pleasent. The gentlemen helping us was very nice. He showed us to our unit and how to open, and properly lock the door. Very great experience.

Self storage screwed me. I rented a space big enough for my kayak and a bunch of other items. I was told my kayak would fit on the elevator, but it doesnt, so the space is unusable for me. Now Im getting charged for that space while I move my stuff to another place that actually works for me.

It was better, but lately it has gone down, the bathrooms are NOT CLEAN,nor are there napkins and paper towels stocked. They are HARD to get a hold of by phone. Sometimes theres a trash can outside for the customer,then its gone for weeks. Im hoping it gets better. The Supervisor didnt help at ALL

This CubeSmart was recently opened and is within walking distance of my home ( I run by it in the mornings). I found myself in need of a small storage unit and I researched this one online. I stopped by and within 30 minutes I had a unit assigned and within the hour I was storing my goods! Steve and Kyle were great! They went thru the various units available and pricing and made sure I knew the closest entrances to my unit (bonus :-) ). If you are looking for storage in Lorton, VA, this is your place!

The customer service here is outstanding! I went to the location for a local sports team gear issue and couldnt find any of the team members. I went in to ask the general manager and he was aware of the event. So, he searched his email for the latest correspondence and called the POCs for me. The gear issue had been rescheduled due to rain.Without the assistance of the general manager, I wouldnt have known what was going on. He really went above and beyond his duties to help out!
