One of the best if not the best mechanics I have been going to in the Hollywood area. Been going here since my first car in high school, its been 7 years now, and this guys are the only ones i can trust with my cars.I know a couple things about cars since I work in mine from time to time, but when I need to do complicated stuff I always go here. They always go the extra mile to find out things that may need to be replaced in the future like a transmission gasket leak I had after an accident on my lexus. Charlie and the boys are very honest and reliable mechanics!

In my experience these guys are honest and not looking to up-sell you. The first time I went, they underbid the next-highest body shop by about a thousand dollars. My next visit they reattached both my front and back bumpers for like sixty bucks, whereas other places would definitely have tried to convince me to replace them both.

I have purchased (2) Accords at A&G Auto and both experiences were very pleasant. No hard sales and I feel a friendship with both sales people. Art sold me my 2017 Accord Sport and I highly recommend him. When I am there for service I always feel that I am in good hands. For a one stop car dealership I give them an A+.

Love this place! Great prices and friendly staff!! Charles went above and beyond with service to my van. Not only did he repair my brakes and do general check but he also replaced for free a filter I declined to replace because he saw that my son had a rash on his face and said it needed to be done for his health. He did this in a gentle and kind way. I will be coming here for all of my car services!! I give them 10 stars!

Charlie and his mechanic is top notch, they were recommended to me by my tow driver. Such great people and very easy to communicate with. As a female driver some shops would love to rip you off not these guys. They look for the problem and they are honest with you. Never give e lemon parts either. I am so happy that I got my car fixed. Now I recommend him to my family and friends.

Man, this place is perhaps the greatest mechanic shop around Hollywood/Silver Lake area. The owner, Charlie, absolute gentlemen and honest man. Had my BMW repaired there for a new Serpentine belt and an Oil housing filter gasket replacement and it was all done swiftly but with precision to detail and best of ALL for and ABSOLUTE fair price. Not to mention Charlie was kind enough to throw in an extra 10% off the originally quoted price for being a first time customer.Most defenetly will continue to do business with the A & G team. 💯👍Not to mention their mechanic saved me a few minutes later after getting stranded on the road on my way to refull. My engine splash guard was cracked with a piece of it dragging the ground. I brought my car in and told the mechanic that I didn’t need to replace the whole thing but just wanted to have the hanging piece removed. He immediately grabbed some scissors, snipped it off in 10 seconds and didn’t charge me at all. I will definitely come back!

I cant recommend Charlie and his team highly enough! I have brought my car (an old Honda civic) in several times for some repairs and maintenance and now all my oil changes. They always do a great job for a really fair price and I never feel like they are trying to upsell me or do unnecessary repairs. In fact, if I mention some maintenance that isnt necessary yet, he tells me up front so Im not getting unnecessary work done. I feel so lucky to have found such a friendly & honest repair shop. Everyone should bring their car to Charlie!!!

I needed a hitch receiver installed on a newly leased Mazda CX-5. I had bought the hitch receiver online but I wanted to make sure the installation was done correctly. Three years ago I had a similar hitch receiver installed (by a different auto repair place that supposedly specialized in such things) on a vehicle and they messed it up totally. They welded it to the frame! So, I looked around and saw that A&G had excellent reviews. I called up Charlie, scheduled an appointment and it was nicely done in one hour on a Saturday morning. Charlie was great; polite, professional, and the price was as advertised on Amazon. Highly recommended!
