There is a good variety of teas (green teas, black teas and other herbal teas). Also they taste good. There is also a selection of tea cups, pots and mugs. Great Store! π
What a cool vibe in here. At first you think you will be hanging out in the front of the house until you are taken downstairs and welcomed to a very large space lit up with so much wine, bars and nooks with couches as well as high top community tables. Great service, they allow you to taste before you buy, and probably should with most glasses being 20+. They offer flight tastings also. It felt like a younger vibe with city workers celebrating an end to their work week. Fantastic vine list and a good place to come for a drink. Id keep it at that only.
This is a fantastic venue for small events. Had my baby shower here and the staff was friendly, the interior was perfect, and we all had absolutely delicious tea. The location has free underground parking so its super convenient to show up and enjoy your time here. This is a nice hidden gem and definitely recommend it for small events or just to enjoy a nice cup of tea.
I am so glad I found this awesome spot and they do online ordering! The package arrived and it was beautifully wrapped in pink tissue paper. This is my favorite tea brand and was nearing the end of my supply. I thought of ordering from Amazon but decided to seek out a smaller tea shop. So glad I did! Thank you for the awesome samples. It was like you read my mind. I have been curious about the Napoleon tea and will be ordering some soon! The Versailles Rose is a favorite as well!
This is a very classy and fancy wine bar with fine dining in the financial district of LA. The selection of wines here were very wide and the rose / whiskey tasted amazing. We also had wagyu sliders which were yummy. The interior looked post modern
Rose & Blanc is a cute tea room located in Los Angeles. The setting is really cute for photogenic posts with cute teapots, teacups, pink walls, curtains, the flowery wall, and their cute little finger food. This is a perfect place for Instagram posts and girls afternoon tea time. This place has a 2-hour time limit per visit so make sure you stay within this time frame.Highlights of the menu:1. Special tea set: $70 for two ($35 each), including a teapot with any flavors, salmon truffle aioli sandwich, cucumber sandwich, ham & cheese croissant sandwich, biscuit, mini tarts, fruit cup salad, and moreORLondon tea set: $50 for two ($25 each) includes fewer items.2. Add-ons: earl grey, red velvet, rose, and salted caramel3. Earl grey lavender milk tea4. Matcha lavender milk tea
Ordered the special tea set for two with the waffle add-on (+$4) as recommended by other reviewers. Went on a weekday, no time limit and was pretty empty after 3pm - many other customers were walk-ins.Honestly a hidden gem. Pricy, but cheaper than some other high tea places.Food: Liked the sandwiches and biscuits the most, egg sandwich was the best. Waffle was okay, only get it if you like lavender, because without the syrup to dip in, its just plain. I think the only bad thing was that the macarons tasted slightly stale. The amount of food is good; if we hadnt gotten the waffles, we still wouldve taken home some leftovers. For tea, I got Paris for Her even though I dont like raspberries, and it was still delicious (lychee flavor was stronger).Service: Attentive and not pushy at all (contrary to what other reviewers were saying, though I went when there was no time limit).
I came here on a Saturday to take advantage of the happy our weekend special. 50% off bottles $70 or more. (limit one per person, or was it 2 per party?) Anywhoo, started the night off with my BF with a nice Syrah and Pinot. Unfortunately one of the bottles we ordered was a twist off. :( We paired it with the 4 cheese platter and our server was kind enough to notice we were running low on bruschetta and brought us another plate without us even asking.
This was in Ktown so in typical Ktown fashion, parking can be hard. Theres a parking garage in the plaza but not a lot of parking. The tea is super cute and perfect for taking cute pictures but it can get a bit loud in there when the room is packed. They have a really good tea selection and their fingers sandwiches are tasty
We ordered Tea Party at Home from Rose & Blanc to celebrate a birthday that was originally going to take place during a trip to Scotland, England, and Ireland. Unfortunately our trip had to be canceled due to the pandemic, so having the Tea Party from Rose & Blanc was the next best thing. The staff at Rose & Blanc were very helpful and totally professional. Everything was beautifully packaged and ready to pick up right on schedule. All of the bite sized treats were lovely to look at and also quite delicious. We especially liked the 3 types of tea sandwiches and the scones with clotted cream and jam. We served everything with a couple of bottles of pink champagne and pretended we were having tea at the Savoy in London.
Our first time at Rose & Blanc Tea Room & Venue cafe & great food & service. Young crew (Staff) positive attitude & energetic. We loved our breakfasts, the banana walnut pancakes were delicious, it had bananas & walnuts inside the batter & fresh as toppings. I just wish they had toasted the walnut for more flavor & cruThe breakfast potatoes were so good & I asked for them extra crispy. My daughter loved her breakfast called Jims breakfast & she loved it especially her apple bacon. Outdoor patio seating is available & pet friendly & free WiFi & parking.
Great new coffee place in La Crescenta. FIrst the coffee is great. Im enjoying a Ethiopian Cold Brew. They have muffins, other stuff to eat if youre hungry. Great vibe, mellow. Chill music. The interior is very welcoming. Really glad they finally opened
First time trying it after a wanting to a good while.Ordered for the whole fam.Let me tell you, my family are pickyThey definitely loved itDefinitely going to be ordering from there again
Good option surprise someone. My cousin is a big fun of tea and I was looking for something special for her. Before come, make sure that you made a reservation !!! Cute place and delicious desserts!!!
Fabulous rooms, not all with great views! Trendy lobby and bar, helpful and knowledgeable concierges. Efficient room service.Located in SOMA, just a short walk to Union Sq to the shops and Powell St Cable car turnaround. Highly recommended.
We always like Rose & Blanc Tea Room & Venue; great season menu specials, love there cast iron skillet breakfast ( corn beef ones my fav), wait is never to bad 15-30 min for brunch, the staff is always very friendly..
Almond latte and espresso are good. Great ambiance. Open, bright and airy. Love the tall ceilings. Great for getting work done, reading the news, or catching up with friend(s). I always leave with a little bit more of a skip in my walk and a bigger smile. Bottom line: quality coffee/experience.
I couldnt find an affordable baby smash cake anywhere!!! And with this pandemic, almost no bakerys were making them! I was so happy to have found Roobinas! I showed them a picture of how i wanted the baby smash cake and they did such an amazing job! They made it exactly how i wanted it and it was so yummy! I am forsure going to continue to come here! This is my go to bakery :) ! Thank you Roobinas!!
Good ambiance and decor. Easy parking in K-town is a plus. Great place to catch up with friends. Knocked off a star because they dont refill your tea pot with hot water. Instead you have to purchase another pot. Never experienced that at an afternoon tea place before and was really turned off by that. Food/pastries selection was decent. Not a large amount of food so you dont walk away full, which was fine because that meant I had more room for kbbq later.
This place is so convenient, awesome, and the employees are great. I need to start coming here more often because they coffee is just so delicious. If you ever in the area check this place out, you wont be sorry. Yay for the local coffee shops, keep on doing your thing!!!!
Great place ! Saw their FB ad for birthday tea boxes during Covid and picked mine up today with joy !! Adorable packing and everything looks fresh and yummy . Good option for these chaotic times,
Great price for a bridal shower! The Rose high tea set was absolutely lovely. The macaron complimented the waffles with ice cream and the tea was absolutely divine. There were so many choices to choose from and the server was so friendly. She helped me from start to finish and kindly explained each tea to me. The owners are also the most beautiful couple, they were so kind to me and my friends. If I had another bridal shower, I would come to this tea house. Iβm so glad they decided to open a tea room in Los Angeles. ππππ»ππ»
It is on the 2nd floor and accessible by elevator from the underground parking lot. Yes the place is wheelchair accessible. The chairs are plain wood, so if you need a seat cushion, then ask for them at reservation time or bring your own seat cushion.
We have been looking for a place like this for a long time. We had a high hope for the High Societea, but it failed miserably. Way below our expectation. If you are planning to visit for the first time, I recommend making a reservation.Everything about is a top quality and we cannot wait to come back.Good: food, service, ambianceBad: Parking can be tricky
Super cute place and very Instagram friendly! In terms of food quality tho, its way too much desserts for me from our set but the tea selection is great! Lots of choices!!
Like always had a cafe mocha! Though this place is all about TEAs. It was one yummy and generous cup of goodness! Loved it.. coffee and decor of the place is all I needed for the day. Of course my Frnds company to add cherry on the cake. Very chilled atmosphere. I wanna come back for high tea here to taste some of their specialty teas.
This place is delicious and pretty reasonably priced for what you get. Keep it going :) Had several rolls and the salmon teriyaki platter. All delicious. Great place for sushi and catching up with friends!
Went here with my sister during her Bachelorette weekend. The lady there was super attentive and helped us pick and choose our teas. The decorations were super cute and the details on the drinks were definitely Instagram worthy. The only thing I would suggest changing is serving original Madelines instead of chocolate ones. They were the only dessert we all agreed was a little off. Wonderful experience, otherwise!
Amazing Asian fusion French style tea room. It is a great treat
Staff very generous, high tea at home was a hit!
What a lovely place to spend an afternoon with one of your closest friends, sipping on delicious teas and a roundabout plated with sandwiches, scones, and sweets!First off, the light pink decor is perfect for a mood of tranquility and discussion. No rough or harsh tones set for a really quaint environment. This place is very easy on the eyes from the walls down to the teapots and plating. Sure, you can go to a British pub for High Tea, but this place, made specifically for such a session is perfect for it. The setting and the fact that they specialize in specifically high tea events. Its also not too loud either. So for two people, we ordered the London Tea Set + added the waffle. About $50 for two and not sure but youre allocated two hours from the moment of your reservation. I say not sure because by the end of hour one, one of the patrons started passively aggressively rushing us out, taking away my fruit cup while fruit was still in it, taking our dolly away while the top plate was still loaded, and then taking away my cup of tea while it was clearly still being sipped. Thats my only big complaint. We thought we were allocated more time, I believed I was having a wonderful high tea afternoon, then suddenly feeling rushed and unwanted. I think they need to work on that. Passive aggressive too. However, the delicacies of my London set overrides that service that put such a distaste in my mouth that this place to me still deserves atleast 4 stars (5 if we remained comfortable and not unwanted for our whole 2 hours). In terms of aesthetics, very nice setup. We had the Bain de Roses tea, which I wasnt a real fan of, a bit too floral for me. Smelled delightful but wasnt the type of bang I wanted. Our other teapot was filled with the OG English breakfast tea and this was quite delightful. Sipping on beautiful tea cups and lovely teapots by our side felt very pleasant. The dolly. I believe, but dont quote me on this, the way to eat this is from bottom to top. The bottom is filled with sandwiches, tartines, and our waffle (savory), the middle plate is sweeter with scones, clotted cream, jam and fruit cups, and the top is the sweet tooth paradise with some macaroons and tiny cupcakes.Sandwiches: egg salad, cucumber. Both good, egg salad was a bit too sour for me, but the cucumber sandwich was delicious. Crisp and refreshing.Tartine: Smoked salmon on top of bread, it was good - a bit salty but hey, its smoked salmon.Waffle: we got this because many yelpers across the bored highly recommended. Also there is lavender syrup o. The top rung to go with it. It was definitely tasty, and recommended to be eaten first as it was fresh and hot.Scone: cut in half quite easily, clotted cream and jam on top made it one of my favorites on the dolly.Fruit cup: strawberries, blackberries, and a slight drizzled. Seemed fresh, there was a good crunch to it.Macaroons: top rung was my least favorite. Macaroons were red velvet and earl grey. They were fine, but nothing to write home about.Cupcakes: same, they were fine but nothing exceptional about them.Id definitely come here again, taking it in as a whole package, the ambiance, the food, the tea, and the close friend. The worst part again was the lady trying to rush us out towards the end of hour one, taking our plates and even giving us our check. My friend and I are non confrontational so we decided to take it with a grain of salt. If we didnt feel so uncomfortable and unwanted at the end, this whole experience would have been 5 stars.
Tea was of high quality, decor was adorable, and service was good. However food was subpar.
Great service & fair prices. Had a lovely tea set with my mom.
Great service! Great tea with a beautiful decor for a nice afternoon to relax!
Great service, tea selection (TWG, Harney and Sons), and tea service. Everything was delicious!
A little pricey but super cute!
Cute place, great ambiance. Overpriced and horrible parking.
Love this place for decorated rooms and lovely tea.
Im sad to give a bad review to a coffee shop I used to frequent, when I lived around the corner, a few years ago.Your cappuccino is late. You add too much milk to it. And the tone of the baristas answer was quite condescending, which is the only reason Im writing this review.
EDIT:
I like their room and teal thanks Rose and Blanc Tea
Amazing.
