Vicente Foods for years has been my go to market of quality premium produce and flowers. NO LONGER! The flower vendor has changed and you cannot buy beautiful flowers for 699 like you can at Bristol Farms. You get old flowers that are mismatched in a bundle for $19 -$24. Unfortunately, the fruit is always rockhard,Again I am finding myself at Bristol Farms for more and more produce. How disappointing!

Beautiful clean market with everything one would need. They follow all the covid-19 safety protocols and have sanitizer at the front door if you need it. The deli is delicious and the sandwiches are very generous and come with pickles and potato salad!

I love coming to this grocery shop! The price is a bit higher than other grocery shops but understandable for the good quality of products and comfy feeling while shopping around. Their fresh produce section is the best for me. I also like the fact that this place always looks nice, well-arranged, and clean. Highly recommended!

Love this place! I buy my groceries, meat and poultry here,if I need a special custom meat cut I just ask any of the butchers for help and they come right away and make it at your convenience.

They have a wonderful deli!! The man who makes the sandwiches is very very nice and you get a bang for your buck! He puts a lot of meat and the quality is great! Highly recommend their bakery as well. Great pastries and cookies!

Personally I really like the selections of their products. You can tel they try to stock as much top quality items for customers to have several options of product. The selection of wines cheeses, imported foods is excellent. The bakery bakes some prime cookies. Highly recommend them.

A customer at Vicente Foods for over 40 years, I can say that this store is the epitome of care, quality, and service.Yes, for produce and meats, the prices are a bit higher. But after purchase, we need discard nothing--there is no waste; the quality of produce is unequaled--even in many farmers markets--and the meats are extraordinary. Fresh things taste like they should...like we remember they did. Tomatoes are tomatoes, and the same is true for any vegetable, fruit, or meat. The staff are informed, gracious, and generous, and the wine and liquor department is itself carefully curated--with advice, conversation, and--when desired--very helpful information and instruction. And of course, there is the service deli--incredible...with some homemade specialties and wonderful sandwiches....all with a smile and engaging conversation--and there is the bakery--Mamolos--a Viktor Benes original, with baked goods, whose quality is equaled only by the staffs sweetness (no, really).Importantly, during this chaotic crisis, management and staff have done everything they can to support one another, and to provide products and service as seamlessly as it is humanly possible to do, being vigilant about the health of staff and the safety of customers. I f i have lived near this grocery when I was young and have used this grocery store for 60 years. In the early days it was the small corner store and had everything you needed in the 50s and 60s. As Brentwood has changed to a more upscale area, they enlarged the store as much as possible due to parking requirements. The aisles are small as they wanted to continue to pack in everything you need now. They include Mamalos Bakery ownership the same as Gelsons bakery (yum). They have a small deli counter that makes sandwiches and offers deli food to go. The meats are excellent! The aisles are packed with regular and Gourmet offerings of sauces, cheeses, cereals and other goodies. Plus they had excellent fruits vegetables and wines. It gets crowded at times, but everyone is polite including the check out staff. You can pre-order and pay and they offer curbside delivery and ((home delivery before the pandemic).

Such a great little gem! Love their meat wine selections.

Was coming from the farmers market and had bags with me - security wouldnt allow us in the store with our shopping bags... pretty absurd for a grocery store.

That was totally unacceptable that my order of Fiji Water shipped through Google Express from this store have expired for one year! I got my delivery on someday Nov 2018. After drinking couple bottles, I noticed the date printed at the bottom which is Dec 2017. Terrible! How come these people sell expired products via online platform and think consumers wont know? Refund received from Google Express already. But I hope my family wont have diarrhea or I will sue the store.

This is an excellent neighborhood grocery with a wonderful deli! I love the selection of fine wines. Its nice to have a little store close by which actually stocks white truffle oil and saffron for those food emergencies.A little disappointed in the cheese selection. This needs work as does the meat/fish departments. But, a solid effort turned in for those who wish to stay out of the box stores!

Did some work for a gentleman up there a few times and went for a sandwich a Corned beef on rye and the person behind the counter stacked it high and full. So, now any time i work for the gentleman I always eat there. They also have some the old sodas we drank as a kid like Nehi Orange soda and Bubble up. This place rocks.

I placed 3 different orders through Google Express for 10 bottles of Lorinas Pink Lemonade that this place listed as in stock on different days... all 3 different orders were cancelled by Vicente Foods just saying no stock... I placed an order at 2am so that they wouldn’t mess it up but guess what... they did. Horrible service and if I could give them ZERO stars I would super incompetent unprofessional store. Why are they in business if they can’t even complete and ship 10 bottles of lemonade... come on!

They have a wide range of food selection and a little expensive pricing, but it is worth it. Their fish person is super nice and he helped me to find seasoning. It is a local store, so I feel home when I walked into the store. I pick Vicente over Whole Food in Brentwood.

Probably THE Best Health/Organic grocery shopping for any and all Individuals that eat food on a daily basis. Cons: Iittle pricey Pros: you couldn’t create a better grocery store from the healthiest sources in America - or if you could this is it it. The Best selection of carrots. The best greens . The best bakery / sweets. They make sure they have the healthiest version or selection of every product.Coolest and Best Store I’ve ever shopped at, I couldn’t get too much, as you can tell it’s more Organic Focused.. but I got what I could and I am pleased.If you need a quick grocery to go to, to have what you’re needing or expecting go to Ralphs.If you’re shopping for yourself or your family and care about health/vegan/Organic issues - come here and spend some of your paycheck. Your taste buds won’t regret it.. just wait till you make your homemade (whatever) with ingredients here compared to Walmart’s ingredients...yep.

I went there at 5 pm on New Years Eve -- very busy -- and had the best grocery shopping experience ever. I was worried about maneuvering the big shopping cart among the people, but the customers were polite, so we slid by one another gracefully. The produce man was gracious in checking on the price of nuts in the shell (a mountain of fancy mixed nuts for under $3/lb). Ive had trouble finding Oroweat Honey Wheat Berry bread, having tried 5 other supermarkets in the past 10 days. Vicente had at least 6 loaves on the shelf. When I asked the grocery man for Hellmans mayonnaise, he told me with a kind attitude that it is labeled as Best Foods in the Western U.S. and is the identical product. At checkout, when the twisty came off my big bag of nuts, the checker twisted it back on. Both she and the bagger were friendly and attentive. I kind of floated out of the store, and will come back.

I have been shopping there for 29 years and never has anyone been anything but helpful. The variety of things available in a modest size store is amazing.

The IKEA of grocery stores. The layout of this particular Vicente Foods is awful and doesnt allow for flow of any traffic. Even when the store isnt busy, navigating it makes one feel even more claustrophobic and sensory overloaded than when visiting the Burbank IKEA. Expect an argument with your partner by the time you leave.

Everyone here is SO friendly, and helpful, the wine selection is FANTASTIC, produce is PHENOMENAL, hardly ever a wait to be checked out, and, parking is NEVER a problem! A bit pricey, yes, but so worth not having to go to Ralphs!

Absolutely terrible store. Deli department: I asked for some baked stuff, the person took all the bakery things with hands in the same gloves he was cleaning the machines with cleaning chemicals. When I asked to speak to the manager the cashier and the security guy sent me to the restroom!!! OMG! This store is a circus.

Took them 3 days to decide that my item was out of stock. Week before Christmas. I couldve ordered from someone else and gotten it here on time if they would have done their job and marked it out of stock to begin with. Will never order from them again.

I like to get a sandwich here at the deli on my way to the beach. This is a small neighborhood supermarket in Brentwood. Everybody is very friendly here and there is always parking.

A bit of everything

Today I went to buy wearing a mask and black glasses and I looked like some women from the work staff who were at the exit door. They laugh at me I know I look ridiculous but it is for their safety and for me. Devén have more respect. Apart. Because of the situation we went through. The gel alcohol is still totally elevated pressure. It is a situation that should not take advantage of them. Than. Buy us there. Product prices are above what they are worth up to 5 times more. What a pity that the owner does that has no heart
