This is the very first place we stopped to eat in Los Angeles after our flight and let me tell you, it was an excellent choice. The food here was BEYOND incredible. I was blown away, as this was just a quick choice I made without much consideration. After I finished my sandwich, I was tempted to walk up and grab another, it was so good. Definitely recommend this spot.

Eating healthy is a bit difficult when you’re eating out. So while searching for some healthy options, I happened to stumble upon Locali.It’s located in a small plaza off Franklin, fairly close to the 101 freeway, so it’s pretty easily accessible. There is a small lot, and parking was available when I arrived (granted I was there on a Tuesday evening). But if push comes to shove, residential parking is also available!Locali happens to be a woman owned business, and I think it’s awesome to support a small business. They have a variety of sandwiches, salads and even breakfast foods on the menu. I was a bit overwhelmed by the menu, so I immediately asked the cashier for some suggestions. She was very friendly and informative! She provided me with a variety of fan favorites along with her own.We decided to order The Franklin Phenomenon and The Georgia Blonde (not vegan version). The sandwiches were very cheesy and super yummy! The Franklin Phenomenon had a nice assortment of veggies which gave it a nice fresh flavor. The Georgia Blonde had a beautiful color, and while I’m not usually a fan of red cabbage, this sandwich made a fan out of me. The sauce and cheese masked the flavor of cabbage well, which made the sandwich even more delicious!Great place for those looking to try going vegetarian for the first time. Locali definitely knows how to make vegetarian food taste amazing! Will come back for more soon!

Tons of healthy options here including vegan, gluten free, local kombuchas, yerba mate, fresh juices! Very filling smoothies and nicely good-sized salad bowls! My favorite was The Ruben panini - delicious!

I loved trying the vegan version of the classic Reuben. I’ve tried a lot of vegan meats, but this place has such a different texture for the Reuben that I enjoyed! I loved the smoothie I got too that was the dirty shamrock ❤️ I loved being able to try the turkey sandwich from the Golden blondie as well!!

Located in a strip mall parking lot near Gelsons. They offer outdoor seating for dinning and/or waiting for your order. Everything is made to go, but you can enjoy your food there.Locali also is somewhat of a craft beer and craft wine spot with a good selection of a few choice options. They also have tons of prepackaged and pre-made goodies for purchase including some great snacks and desserts.Highly recommend coming with a friend and splitting a sandwich or two like The Reuben and/or The Georgia Blonde (highly recommend by Locali staff as well as myself).100% vegan plantbased goodness!Great ambiance, music and overall vibes.

Love this place. The spicy badass breakfast sandwich is so tasty and satisfying, we could’ve each ate another one. There was also a faucet to fill up our water bottles for our hike which was convenient. They also have a ton of vegan goodies so we grabbed some snacks for our hike.

I would have loved to show you my sandwich but I devoured it in a second. Had a Reuben and the Breakfast Sandwich and they were just amazing!

Been here twice and the food is delicious. The brekkie burrito and the badass breakfast sandwich are really good. Im not sure Id say the price for them is worth it though. I guess since the quality is good, thats what makes it so high? Def would classify as overpriced vegan food.

The vegan ruben was super good. The marinated tofu in beet juice was superb! The hemp hummus was super delish. Fyi, it doesnt come with anything to dip.

As a vegan of more than 10years the food here is really bad. They need to like hire someone who can taste because I wouldnt eat that $20 breakfast burrito if it were free! Even living right next door I drive to get lunch because this is overpriced garbage they sell you.

Great spot! This Locali location has a smaller interior (vs the Venice location). There are a handful of tables set out in front for waiting or eating your food safely. They have wifi available and even though the parking lot isnt huge, there were plenty of options on a weeknight. I came in for dinner to-go and didnt have to wait too long. This time I tried the Georgia Blonde sandwich - loved it! My partner got the Fugeddabouit sandwich - also great. Both vegan. Locali continues to impress :)

Brekki burrito is amazing

I have come here many many of times. I always get their badass breakfast sandwich ❤️❤️❤️🤤 it is sooo delicious! They always lather it in their chipotle aioli which is addictive and what I think is a maple type sauce. Whatever is on it it is DELICIOUS! Friendly staff, so kind and helpful. I fully recommend this place.

OG Badass breakfast sandwich is like a superior vegan McSausage! Melty cheese, spicy chipotle mayo, a maple-syrup baked English muffin around a moist sausage patty--a perfect combo!! They also microwave perfectly the next day in 30 seconds, if you buy extras (which I always do!) The vegan Reuben and chocolate whoopie pie also hit the spot! Plus they have some vegan groceries--its like your local vegan bodega. Love this place!!!

Im no vegan but this brekkie burrito exchange the vegan cheese for dairy cheese is on point.The chipotle aloi is awesome.Prices are fair for organic fast food.

I’ve been to dozens of pricy Vegan spots, but this one takes the cake. The food here is not consistent. Some items are great and others like the breakfast sandwiches are not worth the absurd price. 2 stars because the portion and quality of the food does not match the pricing 👎🏼Plenty of other Vegan spots where the high pricing is at least justifiable because of the high quality of the food. I just can’t bring myself to pay this much at this particular vegan spot.

The sandwich and smothie taste bad and high prices..and one of employee told me not to cut in the line..but I didnt..very rude..and thats how you lose customer.

I love this place! Vegan options are plentiful and DELICIOUS!! The most popular item is probably the Ruben, yup all vegan and amazing. They also have one called the Vernon, which is like a hot buffalo chicken and cheese sandwich, all vegan. The breakfast sandwich is also incredible, all vegan! They also have some fresh options, I like the keenwow wrap. Their smoothies are also a great choice. I love the warrior! Theres a rewards program and this is one of a few locations, check them all out!

Sitting here in the sun out front of Locali. Drinking an endless supply of reverse osmosis water in a reusable cup supplied by the shop. Crushed a vegan Reuben sandwich. Phenomenal. Please do yourself a favor and try this sandwich and shop. Wow. 🙏🏻

Always looking for a good vegetarian/ vegan quick spot. The Reuben was really vegan cheesy. The seating is very limited. And they do serve 1 type of beer and basically all types of wine.

Waldorf Chicken salad is decent; Asian chicken crunch panini is SO tasty. Grilled salmon sandwich is a disaster. Their flavored drinks are lovely however I wish they can be less sweet. If you are getting a half order sandwich, you can also pick a soup; tomato soup is a good choice.

We had dinner here. Bison burger, mushroom soup, market salad with chicken and Cobb salad. Staff was very helpful and food was high quality. The Cobb salad and the soup were especially good.

They say first time impressions are to be the best, however this Latino working in the kitchen very rude and observed with ridiculous remarks and terrible customer service... Has no respect and acts like he owns the place ... Weather he does or not his first impression and how he handles customer not appropriate... 1st time there and was looking around trying feel the place to see if I eat something and was not even acknowledge. A friend of mine recently converted to vegan. Conversion is the right word too. He has been proselytizing his new way of life and bugging me to try it. I did. It was a let down. I know there are spots where food is delicious and reasonably prized. This joint aint that.Food: We ordered two full sized sandwiches. The words conjure up a myriad of possibilities and fillings one at that. Nope. I ordered a tuna (sorry vegan is not my style) and my friend ordered a pastrami that looked like pastrami but tasted like died paper. The portion was frugal, to be kind, damn small truth be told. Both were served on bread no bigger than your ordinary Wonder bread slice.The tuna was tangy and devoid of any particular taste that I could discern, perhaps pickles or dill--not particularly delicious. His devotion to his new religion was unrelenting even as we ate he talked up the wonder of the new visions veganism would bring to the world. I wondered where my $36 went on 2 sandwiches and a bottle of mineral water.With the likes of restaurant like this and Whole foods salad bar, no wonder the poor have to eat meat. I could have bought enough meat to do a taco night for a dozen friends and have left overs. Dont get me wrong I am all for helping the planet right itself from the scourge that is mankinds appetites but I am also for reasonable prices and value. This place does not offer that. I put on my sociologist glasses on and surveyed the clientele. Mostly white. Mostly you and mostly clueless about the state of the world.I will continue to be a carnivore and will do my part for the world. But a conversion to veganism is not in my future. Tacos anyone?

They have a nice little selection of vegan products and their sandwiches are delicious. Best vegan reuben I will probably ever have. The staff is always very friendly. It takes them a little while to make your food, so order ahead if you dont want to wait around.

They have extensive vegan options and from what little I tried, it was delicious! I will probably come back again, when I came to try it I was just looking for something light and healthy to eat and I got exactly what I was looking for; a friend of mine also recommended this place. Im not vegan myself, not all of the food is vegan but it is all health conscious and if you or a friend like to eat healthy, give it a shot.

4 stars due to space constriction, its hard to sit and move inside as the sitting area is confined to a corner of the store. Also, if youre planing on sharing food there are no extra plates for sharing as we were told. Food is tasty and its ideal for a quick solo stop but wouldnt come for a sit down meal with friends.

This has been the go-to lunch spot for myself and my office! We used to go to the location on 22nd until they expanded their shop on Valencia and I am sooo delighted with the additions to their menu.

Keep the space way too cold for it to be energy-efficient. Food was okay especially given the price (happy hour) but was not worth the drive we made because it was listed on a sustainable dining site. Kalamata olives tasted really weird.

Good food, poor service.The food was pretty decent. What I had was tasty, and I enjoyed it.However, the service was lacking. I was not greeted, even though I said hello to the server at the desk. He didnt even look at me and said wanna grab a menu while looking down at his desk, Im not sure what he was doing.So I said sure, thanks, trying to remain cheerful. I then said its our first time here, and he ignored that, too. Complete silence.When we paid it was basically the same general annoyed tone, even though we tipped!Over the course of our meal several other people walked in, apparent regulars/friends, because they were greeted very enthusiastically, with smiles and genuine conversation.Kind of sucks being treated like that, you know? There are tons of great health/vegan restaurants in LA, so theres no reason for me to go back to one where I was treated like a nuisance.Its too bad, because the food was decent. But its not worth it with service like that. Oh well.

Imma let you finish, but locali has the greatest breakfast sandwich of all time

Affordable, tasty & filling... not much else is needed when you are looking for a good chicken sandwich spot. I typically get the spicy chicken sandwich & hash browns for breakfast and although the sandwich looks small the biscuit it comes in makes for a very filling meal for under $5 (which is almost impossible to do in CA )

An interesting hole in the wall near the Scientology Celebrity Center. They have a nice selection of Natural Foods, specializing in vegetarian and vegan dlites, including one of the best Reuben sandwiches I have ever tasted. Being a carnivore, I do like a good Reuben, and this is far better than any Reuben Ive had that as actual meat in it. They use a soy that has been dyed pastrami pink to create the convincing illusion

As a vegan this is the very worst spot in town. The breakfast burrito is so bad!!! Its filled with only veg cheese and tofu its gross. I guess they don’t have vegetables here? I tried it again to be fair and wow its so bad. I cant believe you think that tastes decent enough to sell to people, it smells so gross and tastes terrible.

I always love Locali. Their Vegan Reuben is so far unmatched and I will get the recipe or die trying. The tonic slushies are amazing, my favorite is the Arnold Palmer. There food quality and service are phenomenal, which is why I make special trips out of the valley just for them.

So I seen a video online about this place and knew it somewhere I had to be because they serve breakfast ALL DAY!! FIRST TINGS FIRST, me a die fi brekkfast, to translate: I WOULD DIE FOR BREAKFAST 🤣😍🤦🏿‍♀️ BUT, Now that I have been to visit I legitimately love everything about this place, from the decor to the customer service. They even have a tiny grocery pon de place...I loved the badass sandwich and the Hulk smoothie, I also got a burrito for later and it was just as good after I put it in the oven. I got my brother to try the smoothie too and he loved it as well. I think the prices are affordable as well as reasonable, my total wasn’t even more than $50 like most vegan spots. I’m from Chicago, but I had to sign up for the rewards because I’ll be here every time I touch down in Cali. Thanks for the nourishment, Locali 💚🌱

Very friendly staff here. They recommended The Badass (I added avocados) and The Warrior shake (taste like the milk after youve eaten Lucky Charms). They were both AMAZING. The food took about 10 to 15 minutes. I loved it.

I went into this deli and had a SIR NASTY--- the name just drew me in. I had skepticism because it was vegan, and Ive been known to devour every kind of meat deemed edible. But my goodness, vegan? You wouldnt know it. It was an explosion of flavors. The sauce and soft multigrain meshed so well.

I am not a sandwich person. But this isnt just a fantastic sandwich, this is a sandwich worth a pilgrimage for- and I make it, every time I get a chance to be in the Bay area. The Menage a Trois is consistently just as good as you remember (which is to say, the best sandwich youve ever had). Management is also INCREDIBLY nice, though often busy since the line is out the door. This is one place worth the hype.

Their sandwiches are fantastic. Loved the vegan Reuben sandwich... Tasted like real corned beef without the fat and gristle. A half is sufficient.

Allen Jeffries is a top tier framing establishment. I’ve been doing business with them for a couple of years now when I have a photo that needs a good wall frame. Expect the frames to be almost as expensive as what you’re putting in them. I find that when I come in with several pieces Allen himself usually is there, and he’ll knock the prices a bit to give you a break. There was a time I wasn’t satisfied with the framing of my graduation diorama of my degree and vestments. Allen’s team hopped to it to change things around and add additions for free.His team has never given me reasons not to do business there. Just expect not to get a bargain at Allen Jeffries, they are a classic example of getting what you pay for. The equivalent is walking into a Rolls Royce dealer expecting to find a bargain. It doesn’t work that way and neither does Allen Jeffries. And in that, they have never disappointed me with product and customer service. This picture is in my living room. It’s solid wood custom made for this giant poster picture taken on the 50th anniversary of the Fay Wray King Kong movie. Highly recommend for quality frames.
