Must-try desserts for Honeyyou, Honeymee and Honeyall.Try the true milk milkshake. Tastes like a milkshake in the purest sense. Outstanding.Other tasty treats and drinks for tea lovers, coffee lovers, yuzu lovers and more. They say it themselves: milk + honey = success!
Overall amazing.I ordered the Coffee milkshake and was delicious. The honey gives the coffee a great taste, especially with the pieces of blended pieces of coffee beans that you can chew on as you drink the coffee.I’ve had coffee blends of different kinds at various different locations, but this surprised me, coffee milkshake with honey. The idea is different than your ordinary coffee, but highly recommend it.They have several other flavors and choices, and can almost be positive that the others are equally as amazing.Definitely going back for seconds.
I LOVE HONEYMEE!! Okay, this ice cream/honey combo changed my life. It is so simple, yet so amazing. The vanilla ice cream is so delicious and the honey that they have is soooo tasty. ALWAYS add the honey comb. It is so delicious and crucial to the dessert. The Ghirardelli chocolate sauce is an excellent addition if you like chocolate.
Really good. Will 100% go again.
Delishous .fresh. not overly sweet. Loved the corn flakes .
The milkshake is better bang for your buck and a more useful prop.
Misugaru milkshake!! It reminds me of the original drink in Korea but with icy milkshake, is really awesome!!
I realize that the main appeal of this place is the honey component of their dessert, but i actually thought the honey was a little overwhelming when i sampled their soft serve with drizzle. i opted for the darling, which is their regular milk soft serve, and it was delicious! not too sweet, not too thick or melty. and it came with free corn flakes. the serving size wasnt overwhelmingly huge, but for the size, it could have been cheaper. note that they also have a credit card minimum so if you arent getting more than one thing, bring cash!
A cute clean lil spot that provides friendly fast service and yummilicious desserts and drinks.
Sweet and simple! Its creamy but not too heavy. Its a bit pricy, about $6 each for the classics. Love the natural sweetness from the honey, its refreshing and perfect for the cravings
Prompt service, little line, fantastic ice cream. the raspberry sorbet is to die for, as well as the mint and lavender ice cream. turkish sweets are available for purchase, and sizes vary. would 100% recommend!!!
Currently not open - should change status
I just wanna say that Im VERY VERY VERY picky person 😬 but I LOVED the green apple ice cream. Very tasty!!!!! Thank you guys for the good experience
Best ice cream west LA
Loved the sweetie could have used more honey and I added sea salt could have used more of that as well, but overall it was very good!!
The honeycomb is a must-have and the vanilla/plain with honey soft-serve is addicting. The teas are also delicious and go well with the ice creams. Id recommend a cup if youre out when its cold! They have plenty of options for toppings, but few options for flavors. Its definitely worth it though. Parking isnt too hard to find, as there is a structure about a block away, but the closest parking lot is almost always full.
Its been my second time at this Honeymee and I cant stop myself from getting the matcha affogato. The ice cream is really creamy, which goes really well with the eccentric and bitter after taste of matcha and the sweet component of honey. Its a match-a made in heaven! ;)Ive been treated mostly okay by the peeps working here except I guess that one time when I asked whether the affogato has coffee in it or not. And she gave me a really obnoxious theres no coffee, it specifically says matcha as if Im supposed to know that. By definition, affogato is a coffee-based dessert so dont give me that attitude. But of course I did not say anything.Regardless, their ice cream speaks for itself. I wish the place is a bit bigger. They have a tiny bar in there but it gets uncomfortable when it gets crowded.
The product here is amazing. Their ice cream blends perfectly either their honey. Not to mention their teas and espresso are extremely well blended and made. The hospitality is pretty lack luster but it gets the job done.
Nice staff. Been there numerous times and always enjoyable. Limited menu. Unique taste.
Delicious. Highly recommend the matcha honey ice cream! It wasn’t too sweet even though it had the honey in it. The prices especially if you want the honeycomb which is what they advertise, are a bit high, but it is a quality product. HATE the parking though, if you eat nearby it might not seem so bad but it almost wasn’t worth the parking situation.
This used to be the best soft serve ice cream Ive ever had, until today. I was one of many customers that complained the ice cream was no longer creamy and we were told they changed machines which changed the texture of the ice cream. But it also changed the taste, its no longer good. You are better off going to McDonalds, their ice cream is better, bigger portions, and cheaper. I wont be going back unless they change back to the creaminess of the past.
Used to come here all the time it was my favorite! It’s went so downhill, the place is not kept up and gross and also the ice cream is now very gritty and not smooth like it used to be. Staff member they got new machines? I would recommend fix whatever is wrong with the machine because the ice cream is no longer smooth.
Yummy without the lactose issues
Delicious ice cream! Never did I think I would put honey on ice cream until I came here! This place is amazing! Not to mention its also super affordable and you get a nice filling serving! Highly recommended!
This place offers some unique ice cream, especially the one with honeycomb on top. Eat in or take out. Good for a quick refresh.
We went because people raved about it. But Im the end, its soft serve--nothing more, nothing less. Id take real, interestingly flavored ice cream over that any day. Or blockheads giant tubs of creamy shave ice. The caramel and salt were tasty, but it was just soft serve, which I cant really imagine getting excited about. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Their drinks are good. But they do not accept credit card unless you spend more than $5. And the lady told me she can’t not place my order when I gave her $20 without any reason.
Best experience in this shop. All the shakes was very yummy and its very affordable.
The reason for my three stars are basically for their customer service and presentation. I noticed this little place and it looks so nice. I looked for it on yelp and it looked tasty.I read a few reviews and everyone mentioned that it was good, but that it was a bit pricey. I saw the prices on a photo someone posted up and I thought it was reasonable. There was no one inside and as one walks in everyone welcomes you to Honeymee. Great customer service. My friend thought they were way too friendly, but thats not the problem. When I finally got my Darling (true milk ice cream). I couldnt believe the size! On all the photos I saw they didnt seem to look that small. It was probably the size of a Starbucks mini.Yes, it was a mini cup of ice cream for $3.50. Now I understand why people mentioned it was pricey. I didnt read anyones review were it mentioned the size of the cup.The ice cream was okay. I loved the texture, but the flavor wasnt amazing. My friend got the Honeymee and she thought it was a rip off because of the size. She liked the honey, but she didnt liked the honeycomb texture. I tried it and it wasnt too sweet, but I really didnt like it.Cute little place that catches your attention when you see it. The true milk ice cream also got my attention. I just think its a bit pricey for the amount they give you.
Was really craving a milkshake, unfortunately this business was unable to produce a single milkshake of any kind. I decided to get the chocolate ice cream which was actually the most vile vanilla with completely trash chocolate syrup. The ice cream at McDonald’s tastes better! This experience truly ruined the taste of ice cream for me and my entire night. One star firm.
They are so frustrating during covid. They never update their hours on any platform -- Ive been by 3 times and they have a huge sign that says were open! but who know when?!?! It takes 2 minutes to update your Yelp and Google times. So frustrating to keep driving over only to have them be closef
Honeymee gives you perfect, honey-laden bites for the right price. Their matcha honey cup is phenomenal. I visit whenever I get the chance!
A great tiny dessert shop where you can get milk cream (aka Ice cream). Its fabulous and has a fluffy texture. Theyre quickly served too. Get the #5.
Was definitely impressed with the customer service and taste of the ice cream. We tried a few different kinds and all were really good. Looking forward to coming back and trying more.
The first time I had Honeymee was in Taiwan a few years ago, and I finally got it again in Sawtelle! I loved the smooth and creamy soft serve along with the signature honey comb! The honey works so well with the vanilla flavored soft serve! Its about $5 for a cup, and it is oh so satisfying!
The first time I went to a Honeymee location was in Garden Grove and the 2nd one is at this location. I love it! My favorite is the Sweetie one. Gonna come back for sure!
Yum, fun and cute place! We spent so much time Instagramming our purchases here because they have a sign that you could win a free Honeymee... Ha. Ha. Small place in the heart of Little Tokyo. Friendly staff. Quirky light on/off thing that happens at this location; just adds to the fun here. Delicious ice milk. Not cheap, but I dont think much in Little Tokyo is... ; )
Crazy long line for this place when its hot outside. Their selling points are real milk soft serve and real honey. I got the standard honeymee, which is the soft serve and a piece of honeycomb on top. You can even ask for extra honey to be drizzled over it. It was great! I found out Im not a huge fan of honeycomb though - its got a chewiness to it and it kinda gets stuck to your teeth. But all in all, it was great and so was the service - Id definitely go back yummy!
Delicious, not terribly pricey (double check since its relative), and most importantly the service was nice since one of the girls working there helped us out (even though she seemed kind of tired lol).
Waste of money. A combination of soft vanilla and a honey. Bad quality and service
Honey doesnt go with ice cream because it freezes and loses its texture, but dont tell them I said that.
Its magic. I cannot pace myself with the cookies and cream (oreo) shake. Too delicious.
Good ice cream and delicious honey. Recently started adding corn flakes to it and made it even better
Man, all the honey options here are delicious. Even the one with the wax honeycomb in it is good. Very creamy milk ice cream.
For coffee lovers I will definitely recommend my favorite Honey Affogato!
The creamiest ice cream Ive had so far. Im shocked it works so well with honey. Will return again when Im in the area.
I love this place in general, the ice cream is my favorite. But I just went in today, and whoever was working there (Gio?) was acting super weird and rude. He appeared under the influence of the Devils Lettuce, or worse lmao. He kept messing up peoples orders, was sloppy, and made a lot of dark, unnecessary comments. It made me feel so, so, so uncomfortable and unsafe, and it just really ruined the overall experience! 😢
Some of the Best ice cream in the United States, close but a close second to sedutto in NYC for the top spot
Oh man..such good ice cream.
Pretty sure its awesome, just dont get the honey Mee ice cream they only put one comb on it and barely and honey. I basically ate high end vanilla ice creamEdit: typo
Great milk shakes and nice soft serve ice cream. Try to add some honey comb to any ice cream, its amazing!
Taste like original milk ice cream! You will know what I mean you try it..
Delicious ice cream, solid taste, you will find deals and plenty of options to choose from. Highly recommend it.
I love all the matcha options and different cones and the lavender milkshake! Only vanilla flavoured ice cream though, which is fine because its very good
Just got two ice creams from there. One caramel and one chocolate and the guy (gio) was acting very odd, the chocolate was suppose to come with sea salt so we asked him, he grabs it and dumps the whole ice cream. I thought it was suppose to be blended but no he remakes an ice cream just to put salt on top? I felt like i was on a hidden camera show, like i was purposely being messed with. Please dont let gio work alone again.
Good creamy ice cream but can be overpriced with the honeycomb. I would say skip the honeycomb unless you like eating candles. The sea salt caramel shake is so good.
I finally get to try Honeymee and see for myself what the buzz is all about. I got their very basic original honeymee, knowing I didnt want anything overly sweet. It came in a really tiny cup, which I didnt mind as well but its bit pricy for $4.75. First lick of the ice cream, I instantly thought it was creamy which I loved. That piece of honey comb that made all the differences. I enjoyed the real honey taste. I never had the honey comb before so I didnt know what to expect. I had to chew for awhile and there was an unpleasant aftertaste to the comb. The texture reminded me of candle wax. I think to myself, maybe this is why most of the places dont include honey comb along with the honey. I had it once and Im satisfied with this experience.
If you like honey you will like this place. Feel like the are better options in the area like milet crepe or bsweet.
Great ice cream but rude service (beside a nice girl called maya)
Unfortunately, I didn’t like it( Ice cream without taste (just as ice) + frozen piece of honey. Disgusting actually (((
First time having milk ice cream and honey, and I cant say I was disappointed. I ordered the Honey Affogato and devoured it under a minute.
Softserve is good. But honeycomb is tedious to eat. It just sticks to your teeth and has no flavor/taste other than the honey that it is drizzeled in.
Light ice cream, delicious honey, and strong coffee. Had a great experience at this shop
Subtle sweet milk ice cream with good toppings and a lot of options. Probably my favorite ice cream in the city.
Super love their ice cream!! Specially the branch on korea town. Prefectly icey
Honey shakes work very well. This feels like a unique alternative to all of the boba hangout locations.
Went on a Saturday night with a group of friends. The place wasn’t too busy, but both employees seemed thoroughly uninterested, potentially stoned...? Three of our groups orders were incorrect, the ice cream was just alright, overpriced.
Wish I had a location opened up near me. A worthwhile visit if in the area.
Milk Ice Cream and Pure Honey. Excellent Combination
Hot new fad, not sure how long it will stick around but the basic frozen milk with honeycomb chip was delicious!!!
Portions were a bit smaller than expected, and many combinations of strange flavors. Id say going conservative here isnt a bad idea, as I ended up thinking the Honey Matcha Affogato wasnt that great. If youre a huge fan of honey mixed with tranditional ice cream flavors though, definetly try this out.
This place was yummy. I cant wait to go back!
I was just there and the store appeared to be closed because at first glance there was no one in front or in back, but the door was unlocked. The worker, Gio, appeared to be high on something. The floors in the front and back were extremely dirty and unsanitary. He also did not wash his hands even though they were visibly dirty. He struggled to count money, his hands were shaking, and he couldnt remember what the customers ordered. While there, he forgot to record the order of the family before me AND my order. I watched him completely ignore what the customers ahead of me ordered and he made them an ice cream that they did not ask for. He had charged me for my order, but only gave me one of the ice creams I thought I had ordered. When I told him and asked for my receipt, he couldnt find it and told me I didnt buy a second ice cream. He then proceeded to miss pouring sea salt into the cup and poured it directly onto the counter. He spoke very negatively about his job, almost dreadfully. It made all of the customers extremely uncomfortable.Pros: Ice cream was bomb.Cons: Extremely uncomfortable to buy anything from here and will likely never come back.
Ice cream is good but service is not.
Very cute, very crowded. The ice cream itself didnt have much flavor, but the honey sauces and the little chunk of honeycomb did, too.
Gotta get that Original Honey Mee with extra honey drizzzzzzzle. The consistency of the ice cream is great (thick, not icey) and a piece of honeycomb is always great. If youre a little more adventurous the Match affogato is remarkable.
Its just perfect, service was fast&friendly. Definitely will come again.
Try the regular Honey Mee! Amazing and simple.
Premium soft serve with honey, who knew? Seriously good.
Plain soft serve was pretty good. Service was friendly and great.
I dont get all the fuss. Sure the soft serve is good, but its nothing special. We got the classic honeymee (milk soft serve with honeycomb) and totally got shortchanged with the tiniest piece of honeycomb. I was with friends who got honeymee at their ktown location yesterday and they definitely were a lot more generous with the honeycomb.Save your time -- and money -- and skip it.
