Pretty cool spot for soft serve in DTLA on Spring and 7th .The strawberry cream flavor is the best one, the blue cookie monster flavor is ok . I didnt think the vegan chocolate was that deeply flavored . Nice to try if youre in the area and theres a Metro bike rack right across the street . The crowds outside even on Sunday night got interesting !

Tal was an amazing help when figuring out the kind of ice cream we wanted. Very friendly. Wasn’t packed at all for a Thursday evening. We got chocolate coffee and Cookies n cream(cookie monster). Hubby are the top of his before I could take a photo. 😆. They have about 4 or 5 options the they switch up every couple of weeks. The coconut flavor is the vegan one. We both loved the cookies n cream best. Would come again. 🍨

This place was amazing!! My family and I came looking for something to cool us down in this summer heat and this was the perfect place! Super kid friendly! Our whole family loved the ice cream and the employee was very kind. The shop is a very cute low-key kind of place to just get yourself some excellent ice cream! They have many toppings and different types of cones. I would highly recommend this place for any age and especially in the summertime.

Not a fan. As an avid ice cream lover, this ice cream just does not cut it for me at all. I think I got the cookie butter? I dont remember as I think my subconscious is trying to block out the experience. It just was not creamy as you would expect ice cream to be. It seems this place is more about the novelty of their product verses making it taste like actual authentic ice cream. It wasnt even really soft serve, it was kinda stiff/soft. I dunno, it was a weird texture. Im disappointed as I have yet to find a good soft serve place in LA. Really all I want is a nice chocolate vanilla twist cone. Guess Ill have to find me a Carvel shop or a Dairy Queen :L

By the time we reached B2 its dripping everywhere. Our clothes has some stains... The experience eating this ice cream was a disaster.BTW, the floor of the shop was all wet and the employees are too young and inexperienced. The price is on the high side. What can I say about this place? Its charming, the ice cream is great and its smack dab in the middle of LA. I will say that the seating is sorta limited because its in a small shop and find parking is annoying but other that I have no complaints about the service or how great the ice cream tasted. A small tip though, ask for extra napkins and maybe a cup, during hot summer days the ice cream tends to drip on your hand and stain it black. Makes you look like you worked on a car engine. This is one of those places you should visit if you are in the LA area.

Weve tried coming here a few times but the line was very VERY long.We finally saw the place empty! As we entered the location it was DIRTY...to be honest I got a bit grossed outIleana our server was rude and not friendly at all, we got a few samples and she hesitated to answer a question we had on one of the flavors. We got cookie butter (vegan) on a cone and the flavor was tasty! The cone has a unique flavor... similar to a donut. But the huge downfall is it drips from the bottom and gets crumbly as you reach the end.Kiki and cream was good as well but in all honesty this was straight up hype! The ice creams should of kept their original color and named by their unique flavor.Nothing crazy here, the only thing that stands out is the COLOR thats it.

Upon arriving he offered us 4 sample of the flavors so we could try before we decide what flavor we wanted. I love the flavors and cone but I asked for a my ice cream to be swirled together, he had no problem swirling 2 flavors for the customers before me 😢 unless the machine was not available in those 2 flavors but I seen it swirled like that on their Instagram page. I was going to tell him he made a mistake but I didnt want to wait to have my order made again.

Okay so heres the real deal about this place. Unique flavors, awesome employees, great toppings, and in a great location on Spring and 7th Street in downtown Los Angeles. This place has received a lot of attention from BuzzFeed recently so you cant really fault the long lines previously here, supply and demand. The attention from BuzzFeed has somewhat diminished so you can be expect to be in and out in about five minutes. The flavors are great, you get a black waffle cone for an extra $1 and the toppings include Fruity Pebbles and other unique cereals, but hey, everyone loves Fruity Pebbles! The total was about $7 for one topping, one flavor, and a waffle cone during my visit in May 17.I recommend the dark cinnamon if its available on your arrival, it comes out a greyish looking LA Water color, totally awesome and great to try. Unicorn Tears was a vanilla birthday cake flavor, also very deliciousI wouldnt give too much weight to the few one-star reviews you see below, as mostly people are complaining about the impact internet fame has given them in the short-term. Go try it for yourself, and support our local small businesses.

We saw it online like most people and just happen to be in the area so we decided why not! The line was at the tree around the corner and we waited around 50 minutes. The one thing I notice is they only have one cashier, which drive me crazy, why would you have three-four people on shift when you know full well there will be a line and at what times. (Even google knows) the flavors are described in farfetch ways to keep this aesthetic appeal behind it. The amount of time they sacrifice to explain what the flavors are over and over again is just ridiculous. But the taste is either a too light and didnt come across as how they describe or just taste funny. Its all about the hype and aesthetic, once that fades your left with black mediocre ice cream.

DELICIOUS! & I think the cone was the best part! The black ice cream flavors vary. A total of maybe 6 flavors but They do give samples of each. The shop itself is small. It gets crowded fairly quickly. Adorably decorated though, with its fun wanna be Goth vibe!! The parking here SUCKS! Either find metered roadside parking or a nearby public lot with a fee. Very limited seating- we sat/stood outside, as many customers did. Its funny, you can see where everyone else has been too by the identical traces of ice cream drips on the sidewalks. Very busy street traffic, can be a little intimidating for the introverts & anxiety ridden... felt a little uneasy with all the homeless nearby, as one man kept trying to talk to the kids. Normally wouldnt feel so uncomfortable with that - but he was clearly drunk or high. Nonetheless it was definitely worth going and will go back again!

After hearing the hype I decided to check this place out on my vacation. The line was out the door and all the way 2 businesses over. I waited in line since it was my only plan for the day, and I was with a friend and my husband- so we caught up while we waited almost 2 hours. The ice cream I got was horchata, and also the gray charcoal one- a nice flavor. I got fruity pebbles, but if I did it again Id pick a better topping that matched the cinnamon horchata flavoring. The ice cream was good- but not something I would wait 2 hours for ever again. It was fun, and nice to have a hot spot checked off on the vacation, but it was definitely a destination for Instagram rather than for the ice cream. I tried the vegan guacamole sample- did not care for it at all. Overall, the ice cream is good- but dont wait in line for it. The real kicker was, after I picked up my order, there was almost NO line! I must have hit it at the wrong time! So in summary- pretty good but not worth a huge wait.
