Check them out at the conventions, if you think Im playing. I love this place! It needs to be renamed Comic Book Headquarters. LoL 😅

I get to travel all over the country and one of my favorite hobbies is stopping at comic book shops. This was particularly special visit because they have everything. They had Immortal Hulk, they had all the hot comics on sale for cover price. This is obviously a Hidden Gem and enjoy it

I bought cards from this store and I couldnt be more happy with the experience. I got my cards at a great price when other local stores are pretending to be ebay. Thank you for being fair to consumers.

Comic Book World has a great assortment of comics but they also carry board games, roleplaying games, paint, brushes, and dice. I always feel welcome when I walk into the store and I visit often to pick up my hobby supplies.

It has a very good variety of comics, both new and used. They also have a good assortment of DND games and materials including cards, figurines, paints, dice and more.

Been here a number of times and unless youre looking for star wars legion clone troopers (nobody has them. Not a black mark) theyve got what youre looking for and as of right this second they have the Atraxa commander precon and a bunch of others. Great store, love shopping there.

During my last visit, the employees dog was running around in the store loose. I am not a dog person, so I walked away when it tried to jump on me. The female employee seemed to be offended that I didnt want to play with her dog. If I wanted to play around with a dog, I would have went to a pet store. Before I left, she informed me that her dog is there with her every Monday and Thursday in case I want to select other days to come in. That wont be a problem because I wont be back. There are other comic book stores that dont require me to entertain an employees animal while I shop for comics.

One of my favorite comic shops around. Ive been going here since I was a kid and it has always been a great place to go. Great staff that are always super helpful. Huge selection of comics as well as older comics in the bins. (Probably the biggest selection in Louisville) They also have a big gaming selection of your in to board games, table tops, miniatures or TCGs. All around great and fun place to go.

They have an awesome selection of D&D figures, books, and accessories for all of your dungeon needs. Their comic selection was stocked full with Both known and not known comics. They had hero clix, board games and several table top game miniatures. War hammer, D&D from second edition to 5th edition. Make sure to stop and see them and support your local gaming and comics store.

I stopped into this place while on a family vacation last week. One of the things that I do when Im in a new city is check out the local comic shops and see if there is anything I can find that Ive been looking for.This shop is decent overall. It has a good selection of current comics as well as some trades. They have a small back issue selection. I didnt spend too much time looking through it, but it looks fairly picked over. They have a very large $1 comic section and a discounted trade paperback section. I didnt really have time to look through all of the discount stuff, but I would imagine that you could find a gem or two if you spent the time. Half of the shop, which is a pretty good size, is devoted to games.The gentleman running the shop was friendly and asked if he could help me find something. Unfortunately, he didnt have anything I was in need of. If I lived in Louisville, Im not sure that I would get my weekly books from this shop, but I would probably visit on occasion to see what I could find.

I have been coming here for all of my table top gaming related needs for years now. They have a great selection of Chessex dice, and they stock up with new and trending board games. On top of comics, card games, and table top rule books for D&D and the like, they also have a pretty nice selection of unpainted miniatures for those of you who are into that kind of thing. Its a great little shop that I will be going to for any nerdy affairs.

Very spacious and clean store. Friendly staff and a huge selection of comics and game. They are also willing to host events for a variety of games, which is always great.Room for improvement-If you hope to build a bigger gaming community, may want to increase the space and organization of the gaming table area, as well as invest in some nicer chairs.Most products are MSRP, which is pricey for a lot of people. Many customers will have a hard time justifying those prices when they know they can go online and get the same products for cheaper. If you cannot lower overall prices, look into doing regular sales and coupons. You do a good job with social media, so perhaps utilizing that to market those sales and such would help.

Very nice store. Back issues are neatly organized in well built units. Back issues are also well taken care of and generally are in great shape. Very courteous and knowledgeable staff. They also have a vast assortment of games and gaming supplies.

Good choices, gluten free available. Wonderful service. A bit pricey but worth it.

Excellent store with a very friendly, welcoming owner and choice gold/silver age titles. Long boxes for DAYS. Some real classics behind the counter-- a fun hang. They support indie creators and YES they have Cathair Apocalypse!!

This is a great comic book store! Not only do they have a huge variety of comics, but they also have an immense selection of tabletop games and a fair selection of card games, especially Magic.

Friendly and helpful staff I came in for d&d supplies. I wasnt overwhelmed with thier stock but I did find everything I was looking for.

I get my new comics from CBW so Im usually there on Wednesdays or Thursdays. I stopped in yesterday, a Sunday, to pick up some other stuff. A father had his 10-yr old daughter there for the first time and I heard her talking excitedly. The employee (sorry I dont know his name, he usually isnt there on Weds or Thurs) directed them to where the Manga she was looking for was. He then took the time to educate her on the manga, whats popular, whats age-appropriate, differences and similarities with anime, etc. It was heartwarming and Im sure appreciated by both.Great shop with great employees!

One of the best gaming store you can walk in.

A lot of comics, figures from comic books and movies you can paint. Not many computer games but lots of D&D stuff like players and dungeon master handbooks.
