Amazing! My glasses were accidentally crushed after an outdoor run. I called this LensCrafters as a last ditch effort to see if they could do anything. Knowing it was last minute and I did not purchase glasses from this store I believed my chances were slim. I spoke with Lauren, who may have been the manager. She was very helpful, greeted us at the door and remember me from calling earlier about the request. She informed me she would do her best to fix my crushed frames. Not even 20 minutes later she emerged from the back of the store with my fixed frames. I was thrilled. Amazing efforts and service! These are my main and favorite frames. I thought they were gone forever! Thanks to Lauren, they fit better than before!!!

My most recent visit was to get my first pair of progressive glasses. Adrian was both knowledgeable and patient in guiding me through the process from recommendations on frames, the specific lenses needed and the perfect fit afterwards. I have new glasses that I love!

I purchased my Prada frames 4 months and noticed it became loose and kept on falling off. When I took it back to be fixed, Gerri told me there nothing she can do because I did not purchase the insurance. Had the insurance been offered to me I would have purchased it. Gerri had nothing to say but sorry.If I wanted Dollar store glasses I wouldn’t have paid so much.I will never return never return.
I came in on Sunday with my mom and they were super busy. Jeri made sure we were taken care and was very sweet, I’ll be back to get my glasses when my insurance lets me get another pair!
I was treated at Lenscrafters for an eye exam because of floaters in both eyes. I did not have any wait. I arrived at the time of my appointment, was interviewed quickly. The doctors and techs were friendly and knowledgeable. I went to their store, picked out my glasses and picked them up a week later with my new Rx which is the time limit I was given. Excellent service.

Sadly, the customer service here is severely lacking. I went here to save myself time rather than going out to the location at the Summit Plaza I lost due to waiting. While I understand being busy, having an entirely empty store of customers except for one, and to not be greeted by the employee who clearly saw me wasnt the greatest, especially when you consider the cost of glasses. Next time Ill just go out the Summit. Disappointed.
Wanted to give this 0 stars!I don’t work in the insurance biz so I don’t know how it works. Also I don’t know when the mall closes I assumed 9. The “kind” lady kept reminding me though! So I asked her if she could tell me how much I could spend with My vision insurance. I was told her system hadn’t updated because they were closing. So I asked if she just guess I told her it was Davis she rolled her eyes said LensCrafters doesn’t even take that. I said cool, and left. If a vision place doesn’t want to take my insurance great but don’t be a jerk. Went online and bought a frame for 30 I’ll just do that so I dont have to deal with angry people like her. I’ll never and I mean ever go back to LensCrafters.

I was very disappointed in the customer service I received at this location. I have been going to LensCrafters for several years and have purchased a couple of pairs of glasses with them in the past. The glasses have always been good quality and in the past the customer service (at a different location) was outstanding. Unfortunately, this was not the case today. I left the store today in frustration and will not be returning to any other LensCrafters locations in the future because of the lack of care, compassion, and diligence I received today. I was treated as a nuisance and not a customer. I would strongly not going to this location for any of your needs.

After reading reviews before mine I can say customer service is not their forte. I am disappointed to have wasted my time trying to find my glasses at this place. If Amber doesn’t want to help people maybe she can find a job answering emails. I won’t be back and Warby Parker is around the corner.

Just want to say that’s Dr. Roush is amazing! He helped me when my prescription from my visit last week was wrong and corrected my first impression of the place. All of the staff is very friendly and easy to communicate with. The place is very clean and organized also.
Really poor customer service by the young guys on the show room floor- poor communication skills. Only saving grace was the market manager- I sadly cannot remember her name- she made sure my concerns were addressed and taken care of, she really seems to be the only one who cares about any kind of costumer service experience based on the three most recent times I was in.

I loved the atmosphere that the store created. All of the associates helped me pick out the perfect pair. The gentleman waiting on me did a great job of making sure everything was correct and the lab got everything done in a timely manner. The staff is super friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. I had a lot of questions and they really took the time to answer them all. I had to special order my glasses but they have been well worth it.
First time having to wear glasses. Had my exam next door and then was brought over to LensCrafters. I was a little nervous and the staff was so helpful and really walked me step by step through the whole process. I will never go anywhere else now. It’s refreshing to actually get great customer service at a retailer.

I had to get safety glasses made due to my line of work. The young lady was very helpful and explained the different types of lenses they offered that would be OSHA approved. The process was so easy and I picked my glasses up the next day. I love this location!
I went there today for the first time in a while. Ben was so very helpful helping me find a pair of glasses that fit my face shape. He also helped me to understand what my vision insurance covered, which I know other places I have been dont do. Great experience.

The workers at LensCrafters are super helpful! They were very kind and hep me pick out a great frame. The only hard part was deciding which frame to go with since the have more frames to choose from than anywhere in Louisville. Definitely recommend anyone to go to them.

I brought in my prescription and had free roam of the store to pick frames. Browsing the frames actually took longer than the time it took to fulfill my order. I was given an estimated 30 minutes before my glasses were ready, but within 20 minutes I had them in hand (not to mention the convenient option of receiving a text whenever your order is available for pickup). The staff was kind, helpful, and professional, and the store offers a WIDE selection of designer frames. Highly recommended!!!
I had an awesome experience at this location. My eye exam was performed elsewhere but I came to Lens Crafters because of their wide variety of frames. The price for single vision lens was pretty ridiculous but I am happy with them. Ray was my awesome specialist. I would revisit as well as recommend.

Great experience! Ray and Holland (I believe that was the gentlemans name) were very helpful, enthusiastic and friendly. Ray allowed me to pick out and try on several different pairs of glasses, until I picked the right pair for my needs and Holland closed the deal by getting me all adjusted and sending me on my way in style. Great experience. Will definitely return.
The manager, Ben Alisson, was so helpful! I wanted to change my transition lenses into prescription sun lenses and he quickly took care of that. I also received a follow up call to remind me of the free services that are available. Great customer service! Will definitely come back and recommend to friends.

Service has always been good. Prices are outrageous. Costco does as good or better, at half the price. Costco takes three to five days to get the glasses back, but without problems.
First visit to lens crafters today and had a completely great visit. I would like to thank Niki the GM for all the help and time that she spent with me while making a selection. Niki was very friendly and welcoming and true to her word. My glasses were done the same day and perfect.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I had frames that I purchased from a boutique crafter, and was looking for a place to have lenses made. When I went to LensCrafters, I was assisted by a gentleman who did not provide his name or greet me. He stomped off to a desk, expecting me to follow, and proceeded to decide for me which lenses I should get...to the tune of $1200+ for two pairs of glasses. I was not given any options, allowed to make any decisions, or be involved with the process until I recoiled in shock and asked what he was doing. At this point, the employee became defensive, leaned in close and told me what a good deal he was giving me! After requesting him to change the lens package he had chosen, I was able to reduce the cost by half, which is still outrageous. However, I was in a bind needing the glasses, so had little choice. I had to follow up with the location, as I was never called and informed that my glasses were ready. They had them for over a week by the time I called to inquire, which was still two days short of their given processing time. Buyer, beware. Skip this location! I am sorry I did not go to my regular Target Optical provider, and Im paying the price...in more ways than one.

I set up an appointment three days ahead of time, and even showed up an hour early to check in. They had 8 people in front of me and the doctors hadnt eaten lunch yet. I think its safe to assume that they moved walk-ins in front of me in line. They then suggested that I reschedule for TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATER. Terrible.
Horrible customer experience. Staff was rude, unwilling to assist with getting in touch with my insurance and questioned the date when my last eye exam actually was. They wrongly entered my last eye exam and therefore would honor my warranty claim. I will never go to Lens crafters again.

I bought a pair of eye glasses (frames & lens) almost 2 years ago at the Oxmoor Mall location in Louisville, ky. The last 45 days I have been noticing that I cannot clean my lens. They always have spots. I have used the recommended cleaning tools at Lenscrafters 100% of the time. I was at the Oxmoor store today and inquired about why this is happening. The guy informs me this is completely normal. Some time of coating (AR1) on the lens that wear off. I paid over $500 for this pair of glasses. No one shared with me at that time that this would be happening. Why should I pay this enormous price when I could pay 1/3rd of the price at many other places. Go elsewhere. Their eyeglasses are not worth $500!!!!
I will NEVER shop here again. They upsold me on an item so my lens had to be sent out and I was told 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I went to check on my order and they werent there. 2 weeks later, still not there. In a time with lens in an hour and overnight shipping how is my order taking 6 weeks? Terrible service.

I am convinced that lenses is racist and they dont want to hire African Americans. I noticed every time they call me in for a interview they continued to hire someone else with no experience . And there is no African Americans their establishment..

Nothing wrong with the sales staff, but the lab is terrible. First pair of lenses, 2 hours not 1, didnt pass inspection so I had to wait a week and a half. Progressive lenses are worthless, not clear vision in any aspect. They ordered another set of lenses, another week and a half, equally worthless and the frames were gouged and scraped up. Returned that pair for different frames and single vision lenses. Guess what? After an hour and a half (not 1 hour) I was told that THOSE didnt pass inspection. Getting my money back and going elsewhere.
LensCrafters did a great job! They took the extra time to be sure my glasses are the perfect fit and exactly what I need.
I went to this place yesterday to buy a pair of sunglasses. Betty and Ray were helping me. At first I was really disappointed because they couldnt verify my vision insurance. I have been a patient there for years and have always had the same insurance through the same employer. They werent going to give me the sunglasses until they could verify my insurance. I voiced my concern about this and both Ray and Betty stepped up and worked this out and I walked out with my brand spankin new Michael Kors shades. I have worked with Betty before and she is always awesome. Ray is supposedly the office manager. He told me over the phone that my insurance was good and all I had to do was stop in. Since he didnt check my benefits before I got there I ended up spending over an hour at this place. That was ridiculous. I APPLAUD BETTY though for working so hard and making sure I left a happy customer/patient. I wont go to Lens Crafters again unless I get to see Betty!
I didnt even make it for an appointment before being spoken to rudely over the phone. I simply asked about an eye appointment after 3:30 and the woman I spoke to snidely replied got one at 4. Sure makes it hard for someone who works for a living to take care of getting an eye exam. The people who answer the phone are the face of a business, this is why I will NOT go to Lenscrafters in Oxmoor Center.

I called this place to make an appointment, and I decided to hang up the phone after the lady at the other end of the line put me on hold for more than 5 minutes. I was a new-patient-to-be, but sadly I decided to look for another eye doctor. Not a good first impression.
I came to Lenscrafters after the most terrible experience at Gaddie Eye Center and luckily, it was night and day! Betty helped me and she was absolutely amazing!! I told her about my experience and she was so apologetic and made up for it by helping me choose from 20+ different sunglass options, haha. She was so helpful, energetic, and patient. We even ran into a snag with my insurance but she bypassed it right away and figured out how to make it work. Will never go anywhere else!
I tried to buy some glasses and some guy in a Batman costume kept coming in and asking where the joker was. Not sure if he was mall affiliated but I will be taking my business to the other store 50 feet away.

Terrible!!! I agree 100% with the previous 9 reviews. Had a prescription called in with the idea of getting my glasses in 1 hour. After getting the billing information, the sales person said it would be as long as two weeks. After a week, I noticed there was no charge on my credit card and called the store to check. I was put on hold for 25 minutes at which point I called on another line. Put on hold again and then informed that there was a problem with my card number and no order had yet been placed. Also was told that they were unable to contact me even though they read the correct telephone number and I have answering machine if I am not at home. With such incompetence who could trust the glasses. Avoid at all cost.
They called my name and must have used a mouse to call it out because me nor my two friends with me heard them say it. I had to wait 3 times to be told I have to get a new prescription then had to wait again. If you need glasses dont go here or if you do dont browse while you wait.
Great service above and beyond what I expected
The staff here is more friendly than the ones at paddock however they had a very small kids selection and their styles are all locked up which makes it hard to check them out. The location also seems small and dark.
Dont waste your time . Cant make glasses i order didnt call and tell me anything had me waiting for nothing .

This location is very professional and very clean!Dr Rottman was very knowledgeable answered all my questions and gave me information on how to keep my eyes healthy in between visits!
