I normally love this place, but the other day the lady working the front seemed more than ready to go. Never a good look and the cake that I had, fresh but way too sweet. Their ice cream is WONDERFUL

Pie. All the flavors of pie. They do custom pie. They do chocolate pecan pie. They sell pie for 2 bux a slice. Why is the pie people alone at 3pm on a Tuesday? This is sadness. Dang you COVID.

Stopped in for a pecan chocolate chip pie it was FANTASTIC a whole pie is 18$. the pie is huge. Also has cheaper pie slices for those on an budget.

Rude manager. I am from out of town and found this restaurant on google. Threaten to call the cops because I sat my wing stop food on the table to order ice cream. It was uncalled for. She could have simply said nicely that we can’t allow other food in our restaurant and I would have happily ordered ice cream there and left with no issues. - I stand by this story. There was no resistance to leave. Why would anyone stay when asked to leave? It was a situation of poor communication. I respect that this similar situation happens at this location, so the response by the manager is now habitual. I hope you and wing stop get the dining situation solved. Seems like we stumbled into an already sensitive situation.I understand that you the owner must stand by the employees.

The Baker at this location is professional and does wonderful work on all the cakes and Pies, very friendly customer service person also.

Holy cow! I travel a lot and its hard to find a pie shop and this place is amazing! The best pie Ive ever had, no lie. Amazing crusts, amazing everything. I tried the caramel dutch apple pie (caramel is THICK) and cherry. Im sure Ill be back!

Normally, the pie Kitchen is not my go-to for ice cream or for cake. But today after swimming I promise my kiddos some ice cream. And this is all Dixie Highway really has to offer when it comes to homemade ice cream. All of that being said the ice cream was great and the staff was nice. The watermelon sherbert had me singing

Went to the store after getting wing stop. Sat at a table and set my food down to order some ice cream. Employees stated no outside products were allowed in the store and they were going to call the cops if I didnt leave. Extremely rude with zero customer service skills.Its sad to see your poor reply filled with lies. Yes, we put on food on the table but we didnt open the bag or eat. I didnt get the chance to sit because I heard your employee say they brought in wingstop. I did mention we wanted to eat the wings and order ice cream. My girlfriend even asked if we could order and leave. Thats when you replied with I dont want to call the cops. If me telling my girlfriend this was extremely disrespectful, when cops were mention than I do apologize. Not sure why you suggest complaining to wingstop for following the federal recommendation during a pandemic.

I cannot even describe the happiness I felt when my husband brought a few pie slices home for me. This is by far the best bakery I’ve gone to for amazing pies. I’ve stuck to strawberry rhubarb and cherry so far, but eventually I’ll branch out to more flavors! My daughters love the ice cream, they’re excited each time I tell them I’m in the mood for sweets! I REALLY recommend this place!!

I tried to order a birthday cake and even talked to them about my cake several times. The day before I called to see if they had my order and the temporary baker said the managers didnt put it in but had my email. My daughter would have loved the l.o.l surprise cake. Im so disappointed, I am a very understanding person but you guys didnt put any effort in to care. I wish you well

My boyfriend and I love the ice cream and pies here, he likes the peanut butter fudge ice cream best and I recommend the creme brulee ice cream. However, Ive never had a bad ice cream ever from this place! Everyone who works here is friendly and ready to give you a free sample of an ice cream so you can make sure you dont dislike a flavor when you get a whole cone of it. The seasonal flavors are always tasty too- green apple sherbet is a treat in the fall! Sometimes they have a few pies marked down to $5 too. They have a great selection of everything, and I like supporting a local business that took its time to support Dixie Highway.

I love the cake and ice cream here! The ingredients are more limited and higher quality than at cheaper places, and this results in delicious desserts that dont feel like sludge in my gut for hours. Serving sizes are generous, which improves the value. The service is average, but I dont come here for service. Its all about satisfying my sweet tooth!

I wouldn’t say so much of an experience because both times I’ve went they have been closed! They were closed before the advertised time and I feel like that is unprofessional as well as an inconvenience for people going out of their way to get desserts and get there just to see that it’s closed! I understand that things are constantly changing due to what’s going on but I feel like the times should be changed online because that’s the first thing people refer to!

I visit this bakery often because the desserts are so darn good! The staff are always friendly and helpful! Your taste buds will thank you later!

Just went there for the first time after seeing these photos. service was great, very polite and fast. even my old fashioned grandma loved the place. i got the mocha chip milkshake and it is 100% amazing.

Why the 1 star? The ice cream, while delicious in flavor, is incredibly over churned. First you will notice the tip of your spoon starts to get little bumps on it. Thats from the butter forming on the spoon. Then you will notice the ice cream is more crumbly or sandy. When your done eating your mouth will feel like an oil slick in about a minute or so. The pies and cakes are very good and, like I said, the flavor of the ice cream is excellent. The overall texture and butteryness is an unforgivable mistake.

The blueberry pie with cinnamon ice cream is amazing! I paid this place a visit while heading back from an expedition to Kentucky and went here on the suggestion of someone who use to live here. They offer a large array of pies and even more ice cream. The one thing that bugged me was my blue-raspberry sherbert. The flavor was great and everything was up to par on texture. There were what I can only surmise are curds embedded in the ice cream which was a little odd. Nonetheless it was delicious. Great service, good options and a good time!

Ive always liked this place, but i went in this evening and the gentlemen behind the counter giving me a sample didnt have gloves on, (which wouldnt bother me) until he reached into the bucket of ice-cream and his knuckles kept smashing against the ice-cream.. sorry, i just dont think Ill return to a place that lacks discipline on hygiene.

This was a great ice cream shop, they have great customer service and great attitude they are quick also i am editting this a month later and i still go on like the DAILY take your kids and family to go to THIS icecream spot they are always on top of the ball no matter who is on shift. Been going to this location for a long time, never had any issues till now. I get the same thing everytime. Banana pudding and butter pecan ice cream. This time I got banana pudding and tried the orange sherbert. First off, the display case was messy,cakes looked a mess, did not look fresh, strawberry cake slices looked thrown around in containers, banana pudding was horrible,bananas were old and brown looking, hardly no cookies in it,mostly pudding and it was sloppy in the container as well, customer service was not good as usual, the workers would rather gossip then make sure we had a good experience there. Usually the service is really great but not this time nor the last time we went. Good thing there are other locations, Im done with this Dixie highway location. Waste of money for sure!

My sons Cheese Cake tasted horrible and my Carrot Cake literally had pieces of a shell from a nut in it. The kids loved the Icecream but PRP Icecream is just as good and closer to home.

They have great choices and most people seem to like it .. But every ice cream ive tried seems to coat my tongue and seems too sweet and oily some how.. I know it sounds crazy but i think its the way they Making it.. The cookies and pies are reallly good it will make up for the ice cream!

Ordered a cake on 10/01/2018 and was very clear about how I wanted my cake the employee even read it back to me but when I picked it up it was wrong. The same guy that took my order over the phone was the same employee that helped me that day he even remembered my order and he read the ticket which had the correct order and It was still wrong.He also never apologized and reacted like nothing was wrong also while we were speaking some more customers came in and the young lady that was working with him interrupted us to say to him get me a knife so I can cut the cakefor the other customers which I thought was very rude. Im not saying I wont ever go back just maybe not to that location.

Everything okay, but not as fresh as when they first started. Seems like they are not as feesh especially when un thawed. Sometimes really really runny 😏 icing can be very hard at times.

First time here, very disappointed with the sugar cookie. It tasted like flour, like it had no sugar in it. The ice cream I got, pie my husband got, and upside down cupcake my son got, was good though.

I purchased a birthday cake from the Pie Kitchen on August 11, 2018, at 1:00 PM . I was told to place the cake in the refrigerator when I got home also leave it until I was ready to cut it which I did as instructed. The birthday party wasnt until later that evening. When I took the cake out of the refrigerator one side of the icing had fallen off the cake. The next day I went to the Pie Kitchen with pictures of the cake to talk with a manager about the cake. There wasnt a manager on site I left my name and number. Tuesday I called and spoke with the manager Stephanie who apologized but only offered me 30% of my money back. I found this to be unacceptable and felt that they should have provided me another cake as well as the 30%. So please beware when purchasing a cake from this Pie Kitchen because if you have an issue with one of their cakes, there will be no fair compensation.

Love the strawberry ice cream

I love this lil ice cream place. I come here all the time with my friends. All the workers are really nice, shoutout to Makayla, Alyssa, and Isaiah. They have a very expansive ice cream flavors and you get a lot of ice cream for the price. The cake, pies, and cheesecake there is really good. It has a really good atmosphere and me and my friends have made it a regualr spot to hang out.

Ice cream was a little melty but tasted great. all their pies and pastries looked divine.

I went in recently and it was 8pm (store closes at 9pm). Staff already cleaning the floors and had chairs up on the table. When asked if we could sit inside, we had to ask a couple times before the very young staff members would accommodate us. Desserts mediocre compared to other Pie Kitchens.
