Unhelpful, you’re better off shopping online. You’d get the same amount of service if not better!
Employees were extremely rude. I was looking around and one of the cashiers came up to my friend & i and acted like we were about to steal. We could tell she told the rest of the employees because they kept giving us dirty looks. Manager later came up to us twice in a span of 5 minutes asking if we needed help.
One girl was helpful but mostly they are rude and indifferent.I’ve been there twice lately. Also, there is very little on the shelves. In MANY brands the shelves are empty, one girl said she could order what I want online-I can do that myself without the attitude.
I walked in and not a single employee acknowledged me. All the displays looked like the Ross makeup section and they were out of everything I needed. Next time Ill just order online and save myself the trip.
I absolutely love Sephora! The best customer service for makeup that I have experienced. I went last week and Barbara helped me find exactly what I needed and was super friendly towards me. I will definitely come back for all of my makeup needs.
They never seem to have anything. I wished we had a full Sephora here. These pop up in JCPennys just dont do it
I’m giving them four stars because I had initially gone in and was assisted by two girl with colored hair. They ignored me while they were too busy chatting behind the register and going thru their phone. However, the other girls were so friendly and attended me at finding a fragrance. They informed me about all the colognes and made me samples to try out! They turned my visit better and will come back again.
One of the workers was not professional . I was shopping for an eyeliner and got served free attitude

I went to Sephora the other day my daughter was eight years old and instead of asking me what I want or if I needed help they were following me like I was going to steal something from them I am back a year later by my self and they still seem to be acting the same way it would be nice if they were asking if I needed help instead of looking at me like I was going to steal they could of said “MAY I HELP YOU FIND SOMETHING and I had over $3000 on ME I thought it would be nice but that was not on their mind so it was their loss not mine well maybe cause I am probably someone they don’t care to lose as a customer! SAD CUSTOMER GOING TO SEPHORA!
Would give it a 5 star but I just think the place is too small, kinda wish it was bigger but hearing they are remodeling for it to be bigger so yeah. The service was good the man who worked there was so friendly and helped me get everything I needed and gave me some advice on what colors match me and gave me a coupled of samples without me even asking. It was nice to say my experience there was quite pleasant.
The people that work here are just plain rude and have horrible attitudes. And dont you dare walk in with questions or even a stroller bc they will follow you around as if youre stealing. Just an uncomfortable experience, Im so thankful that Ulta is here but so sad they dont carry Fenty yet. Thats the only reason I ever step foot in here.
Two girls and only me in the store. They could clearly see me and either turned away or put their heads down when I approached. Seriously, who is managing these kids? This should not fly.
I was there on a Tuesday after lunch. Grabbed $100 worth of skincare. Couldnt get the 2 girls at the register to acknowledge me, so walked down to the other register and asked if she was open. She sighed and looked down at the other girls disgusted and said give me a minute. I told her nevermind and left. First and last time I try to spend my money there, Ill stick with Ulta.

Three words: Horrendous Customer Service. If you’re looking to buy or gain knowledge about makeup this is definitely not the place to go. I was in the store for about 30 minutes looking at products that I was thinking about purchasing and absolutely no employees asked if I needed help or anything; they walked right past me. It seemed like all of the employees were busy doing their own work leaving the floor open to theft and no customers being helped and no purchases being made.
Beginning of shopping was pleasant, was asked multiple times if I needed help or assistance, but checkout was horrific. Janets customer service was very poor. Didnt acknowledge us and made it a point to discuss with another employee about how a customer annoyed her with questions she had for her.
Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Take the time and drive to the Amarillo location instead. Theyre much more considerate and helpful there.
The girls dont help you out. i wanted some skincare samples and they just carried out their own conversations, including the manager. GO TO ULTA THEY ARE BETTER
Me and 3 of my friends went to this Sephora and all got matched for different foundations and in the hour we were there they ended up not having any of the shades (this one lady tried to give me a foundation that was 3 shades to dark and really orange) along with that they leave product everywhere so the shelves look empty. Also had to wait 15 minuets for someone to help me.
I have been to Sephoras across the country and in Europe (D.C., Edinburgh, Dallas etc.,) I have always had pleasant reviews for those locations, but not here. I suppose I shouldnt expect much, but at the very least I do not want a rude staff that seems more inclined to gossip behind the counter than help a costumer. I would argue I know what I am looking at when I purchase makeup and if I am going to spend $25.00 on one single tube of lipstick I dont like to be in a hostile environment. Just go to Ulta.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Since this place opened inside of JcPennys, I may have been to this Sephora location maybe a total of 3 other times and I’ve always felt welcomed and didn’t feel like all eyes had to be on me. Recently my cousin wanted to surprise/introduce me to some setting powder because she wanted to do my face for my graduation. While my mom was looking for clothes, we went into Sephora. So my cousin and I was showing me all the different products she uses and she had mentioned primer water. We were looking at all the different products there and then turn around to go look at something else and here comes another person with the security guard that they now apparently have. She asked us if we needed any help and we said “We’re just looking.” Then she asks us if we knew about the Fenty products but had a hard time explaining, I kept walking and looking while my cousin was finishing this girl’s sentences. My cousin then came to me and asked if I wanted a lipstick and I told her no because I use MAC but any time we moved, there was the security guard. I went back to get a primer sample, so I picked up the box and there was the security guard, now standing in my way, I squeezed by her and said “excuse me.” I don’t know if this store has had problems with stealing but they need to explain to this security guard that she needs to back off the customers, not everyone steals and unfortunately this Sephora location has lost me as a customer. I’ve never felt the way I’ve felt in a Sephora location like I have in this location!

So glad to find a Sephora. I live in Carlsbad and its about a 3 hr. drive, but worth it. Very helpful staff.
Someones always offering help! Plus they dont look at you funny if you ask for it. So much better than ulta.

Helpful and courteous staff were quick to offer assistance (and I look like a mess, not nicely made up) but store is too small, couldnt find what I was looking for and none others nearby.

They helped me choose a foundation (after over 30 mins of waiting) they were rude and hurried me out... had to order the foundation, and she put the wrong address! Even after i said it to her 3 times and she even repeated it back! That was my first and last time in that store! Never going back in there
Had a few good experiences here in the past but lately customer service has been awful. I will likely buy my cosmetic products elsewhere from now on.
