From eye exam to getting glasses Lenscrafters was great. Courtney and Matthew both were excellent and made sure to explain everything. Very warm and welcoming :)
Jackson and the staff at the Lubbock, TX location are always very helpful and courteous. I like that they are willing to assist you in choosing a frame. I cannot see without my glasses. So choosing a new frame is difficult. I also like the LensCrafters computerized system of noting your measurements for Progressive lenses, no more using a marker, etc. When my glasses arrive, I can see so clearly through my lenses. Thank you LensCrafters!
Great place! I was not expecting to get my glasses done the same day, but Jackson got it done for me in about 15 minutes. Would recommend this location to anyone looking for new glasses.
Matthew was awesome very informative and explained everything well!! Very friendly and welcoming! We will be back next year! 😊
No one answers the phone, terrible customer service. I called during business hours yesterday nearly 20 times and not once does anyone answer. I just want my prescription given to me. Ridiculous. Will never go back here.
My boyfriend and I went in to the Lens Crafters in the mall today to get new glasses. The store associate Jackson was very personable and was quick to answer any questions we had. The assistant manager Jessica also did a great job helping us with our glasses. They went above and beyond to make our experience great by getting our glasses ready on the same day! Would definitely buy my glasses here again.
I’ve had my glasses one week. They are awful; not just frames but the quality of the lenses too. I spent $1100 on glasses that won’t stay on my face with progressive lenses that are useless. Now I’m doubtful of the optometrist who wrote my prescription. It’s very stressful.
If I could give negative stars I would. I took my whole family in there to get glasses. I spent thousands because I wanted good quality but DO NOT go here. I don’t mind spending money if the service and products are worth it. The only employee I give any credit to in that store is Jackson. He is very nice and try’s to help if he can. The lens from here are all wrong and trash material. I had to go to another eyeglass store to fix there mistakes. Tried calling corporate and no body knows how to return an email or calls. Tried to get a refund and the manger is extremely rude and would not budge to help fix any of the problems or give money back. There 30 day guarantee of being a happy customer is a joke. And if you order anything from here expect lens to take at least a month to come in and when they do they will be wrong. Oh and to have them fix their mistakes.. plan on paying more money again!
Great experience, Jackson and Matthew were very patient and explained the process very well!
Excellent customer service from start to end! Lens Crafters has definitely earned our business, thank you!
The service is excellent. We have been using Lens Crafters for many years. We love the selection of frames they provide. We will keep going back.
These people tried telling me that my two year old Ray-Ban frames are too old to have just one lens replaced per my prescription, and the sales lady wanted me to get an entirely new pair because its cheaper. Apparently they also dont sell these frames anymore when theyre clearly available on the LensCrafters website. I am a full-time doctoral student so, no, sorry not sorry, youre not getting more of my money than what I actually need to pay for to see. You guys are awful people and if youre going to lie, learn to lie better.
Jennifer and Shanna were fabulous!!! They were so nice and helpful!
This is the place to get your glasses. Helpful staff and great customer service will always get me to go spend with them. Loved it and will do it again. Thanks
Meagan and Jaxon were very friendly. Meagan is good at her job. They cared a lot about our needs.
Excellent service and selection!
Staff is very friendly and helpful. They make sure that the hygiene protocol is followed very well. Staff is also very attentive.
I look forward to receiving my finished frames. I am very proud to be a customer for over 10 years. The store was very clean and clearly organized. The sales associate was direct and knew what she was doing. Thank you!
Customer service was outstanding, each staff member was very inviting and very knowledgeable about the products in the store.
I picked up my $1000.00 glasses and could not see out of them. I then had to take an extra trip (during the pandemic) to a busy mall to correct this problem. Im not real thrilled. I will have to then make another trip in a couple of weeks to pick up the (hopefully) corrected lenses so thatll be fun. 2 stars for the pretty frames.
The store was closed an hour before the posted time on the door. No note indicating why.
Staff is timely and very informative. Going back for my next pair.
The only thing I didn’t like was the bad breath of the employee. There’s a simple test that it can be performed; leak the back of your hand, wait 30 seconds then smell it. What you smell it’s what other people are smelling!!! Basic higiene goes a long way.
Jennifer is amazing here!
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a retail service. We drove 2 hours to the nearest lenscrafters to replace my Son’s glasses using our warranty. We paid $50 for the warranty on a pair of $450 glasses. We left the store and 2 hours later we got a call saying that they forgot to take my son’s old glasses (which they would need to send us the new ones). No biggie, they would send us an overnight UPS envelope to send the old glasses back to them and then they would ship us the new glasses. I shipped the old glasses out on July 6th. After a week or so I noticed that the new glasses still hadn’t arrived (meanwhile my 6 year old has been without glasses this whole time). So I called lenscrafters and the essentially said they couldn’t do anything until they had the old glasses. I called UPS and tracked the package to abq, and it had been sitting there since July 7th. I called LensCrafters back and they told me we would have to fill out a lost package claim with UPS (and this was only I asked them what to do on a label they shipped)...so I called ups back. Ups took down LensCrafters info and said that on their end it looked like the package was lost and they wouldContact LensCrafters. Days later I called LensCrafters to check in, they claim they didn’t get a call. I called ups back, they claim they did call. LensCrafters refuses to send the glasses until “fraud” hasn’t been detected...I understand a lost package but this is getting ridiculous. I keep getting the runaround and my son cannot see! Eventually maybe I’ll get the glasses but I’ll never spend another penny at LensCrafters.
Jackson rocks.
Went in last week to get new glasses and sunglasses. First, got the glasses taken care of no problem. After that I got a pair of sunglasses and told the guy helping that I would like to purchase them as well without prescription. (Basically just buy them off the shelf) I asked if there were any deals when buying two frames and he said yes they would do buy one get one 40% off.Perfect, cool. So he takes the sunglasses and starts taking out the lenses. I found this really odd because I figured I’d just get the pair as is? But he said they would be ready around when my glasses were. (Maybe they had to order them? I was so confused!) so anyways I check out with my total being really good so I thought!Well a few days later I get the text my glasses are ready. I go to pick them up and ask the new gentleman if my sunglasses were ready too. The guy tells me if I only got one text then the others should be ready in the next few days. Still I find this odd because they were not prescription, I don’t get why they aren’t just ready??So I call today (7 days after picking up my regular glasses to ask when my sunglasses would be ready.) the lady is having a hard time understanding what I’m asking (she said she’s fairly new so I don’t mind waiting for another person to be available)Well a different lady calls me basically telling me I never bought sunglasses and doesn’t know where the miscommunication was. I find my receipt and confirm he never charged me. I’m irritated because I’ve been waiting days for sunglasses apparently this guy never sold me! I don’t know exactly where the miscommunication was when I said “I’ll buy both of these! Thank you!” And now they say I wouldn’t even get the BOGO 40% discount on the sunglasses because they aren’t prescription. Also after finding my receipt I saw he charged me for a year warranty I said I didn’t want. So now I have to go back up there to get refunded on that. Just irritating and unprofessional on the guys part to basically sell me a pair of sunglasses but never actually sell me a pair! This was after my cars were broken into and my raybans and vogue sunglasses were stolen so I was looking forward to these.I will not be back again and would not recommend this place to anybody.
I have not been in your store in quite a few years but I really loved the young lady that helped me. I have bought my glasses from yall for yrs i will continue
My fault for knowing their service has never been satisfactory. Three years ago I vowed to never return but I had to spend my Flexible spending money and they were open late. So I decided to give them a chance. Mistake!!!I went to pick up my new pair of glasses my $400+ after insurance but was unable to bring them with me - incorrect left lense/strength position (according to what the attendant said). I left there with a headache because of the distorted view. I was told the repairs would be a priority but It’s been Nine days and I have not heard back. Never again. Instead I will go back to using online website, which I pay of 1/4 of LC prices.
The dr. who performed my eye exam closed her office which is right next to LensCrafters.
Let me just start by saying that I loved my experience at LensCrafters. I had already scheduled my appointment when I read the reviews and it made me very nervous but I went ahead and kept my appointment and I will just say that I am very very happy I did. Everything went very smoothly and very fast. When I went in for the eye exam, they were super friendly and I was in and out in no time. When I went to pick out my glasses, everyone was so helpful and so nice and I loved that I got my glasses an hour later. After wearing my glasses for a few days I realized they were a little too loose on me so I went back a week later and they took care of me just as they had before. I would highly recommend LensCrafters in Lubbock.Let me update my review. I went in 10/17/15 to get my glasses re-adjusted. They fell to the ground and wouldnt fit me comfortably anymore. Im not sure why everyone else has had such a bad time with LensCrafters maybe it really does just depend who you get. But I went back in to get my glasses adjusted and it was, once again, great. I went in and the guy helped me right away and I was out within 10 minutes.
I have visited the place and asked to fix my sunglasses. One of the glasses was popped up from the frame. There was a lady told me that it can not be fixed and you need to buy a new frame. (Of course from them and it costs $200). I have decided not to do that, and took my sunglasses to other place and they tighten the frame using the screwdriver with no charge. DO NOT TRUST THEM, THEY WANT TO RIP YOU OFF.....
Order a new pair of glass. They offered and payed fir transition that would work inside the carGot my glasses and they did not darken inside the car. When back to the store I was told that I would need to pay 180 dollars for the feature that I had already paid for. First and last time that Lenscrafter will get my bussiness.
The times I used them they were the only place in Lubock that could get my prescription right!❤
I went in today because my dog chewed up my glasses and had to get some ASAP. I had a lady that helped me out and she said she didnt work there much but the guy there said she had been there for about the last 5 years. I think she may have been a manager or something? Anyways, I did not have my insurance in the system at the time because I had gone to a different place in the past so we had to look up all this information and get it sorted out. It took probably close to an hour and the lady that was helping me out was very nice, helpful, and most of all patient. In the end I only ended up spending about 100 which was awesome too. I had a very good experience and will definitely be coming back!!
Horrible customer service to set up appointment, trying to explain I just moved to Lubbock and I need an emergency contacts, my glasses broke last night and need something while they get repaired. She was so unhelpful, keeps talking over me and won’t let me explain I just had an eye exam completed and nothing has changed, tried telling her that it was at LensCrafters in FL. Unbelievable rudeness. So much for southern charm huh!? Or just basic respect.
Before I begin, Shanna Melton has 5 star customer service as do just about anyone else I’ve had an encounter with at LensCrafters but she helped me with my glasses adjustment as well as recommending other lenses for future purchase. She truly cares about your satisfaction of your glasses. I think anyone who has recently left a bad review on LensCrafters has been unlucky. LensCafters has ALWAYS been extremely helpful and efficient at what they do. I recently bought a pair of glasses with the discount going on and they quoted me different prices on two different lens with two different frames and told me the protective benefits of each. They were very patient with me and understood that I get paid in a few days and saved my info so I could come back and pay when I have the funds. Such great courtesy and helpfulness of the employees. I always recommend them. Always have an amazing selection too.
Not sure where all these negative comments are coming from. The gentleman who helped me find my glasses was very helpful and knew what he was doing. Very friendly and polite as well. They take most insurance companies and while they can be a little expensive its nothing unexpected. Glasses are not cheap by there very nature. End review as far as price is concerned is if you have good insurance, can apply for their credit card, or fairly deep pockets go ahead and drop by. As a example I got the very best on the market as far as bifocals and progressive lenses go and spent $800 between frames and lenses. Most of the price was the lenses.
After reading Helens review, I thought this place must have changed because older reviews were all negative. However, making a purchase from this store turned out to be a big mistake. When I went to pick up my glasses today, they were very impatient and impolite. The sales associate took two phone calls and left me hanging for more than 15 minutes when adjusting my frame. After that, he said you need to tell me exactly what you want, otherwise you are just wasting my time.I thought with their high price tags, good service should be guaranteed. However, I had to take my new glasses to a different place for a proper frame adjustment. Maybe you need to meet with the right associate to get good service, but I would recommend avoid this place at all costs. After all, if you are paying a lot of money for a pair of glasses, you deserve quality service.
We got a warranty on the glasses we bought last year. The warranty includes the frame and lenses and it is written that any damage to the frame or the lenses including the scratches should make it eligible for a fix with the warranty plan.We went there to replace the lenses since it got some scratches that disturb the eyes. They guy took about an hour to come back and say you need to pay $25 to process your request and replace the lenses. I questioned then what is the value of the warranty I paid for a year ago? He said only the manager is the one who is authorize to get to lenscrafter system and approve the warranty!!They really wasted my time, did not do the job of fixing the glasses, trying to make me just pay some amount of money that Im not supposed to because they dont have access to the system. Why the store was open if the associates cant get to the system of the company they are working for??I wished they told me this info upfront at the beginning instead of just going around and around with no satisfying result. It was clear that the associate was a learner and the other experienced associates were not willing to help him to resolve our issue.I wont recommend buying things from there or even the warranty since they will make you pay whenever something wrong with your glasses.Overall, the service was poor and the workers were not supporting each other and the customer time was wasted without getting the glasses fixed. I do wish that I didnt buy from this store at all.
(Written by my wife)....When I picked up my glasses, I told them that the right lens seemed blurry and not right. I was told to try them for a week. I brought them back and explained that the right side wasnt right. They checked my prescription and realized that it was wrong. So they sent them back. I picked them up again and after trying them on, told them that it was the exact same as before. They assured me that they checked the prescription on the lens before I got there and that it was correct. I was told to try them for 2 weeks. ( I was told that I really needed 2 weeks of wearing them for my eyes to adjust. My prescription had only changed a little.) Yesterday I took my husband to the optometrist next door (same place I went) and I asked if they could check my glasses. They discovered that the second pair was wrong. So, I went back to Lenscrafters and told them that I tried to explain that the glasses werent right the last time I picked them up, but no one would listen to me. Apparently, they entered my prescription into their iPad incorrectly. The fact that I felt like no one would listen to me and my concerns was the deciding factor to request a refund and go elsewhere. Needless to say, they didnt get my husbands business either.
On July 5 I was at my farm working and a spot on my glasses so I wept it off then one of my nose pieces pop out so I went to Lens Crafters at the mall the person working there said they didnt have a lab I was shock no lab. I never had that problem before. So who ever is in charge they better get a lab soon If they dont I will go somewhere to buy my glasses. I am not too happy with Len Crafters.
Tldr: they dont work well with vision insurance. Customer service was mediocre. When calling to confirm our appointments I tried to get an estimate on what we would pay out of pocket, the girl was very vague and told me we would have to pay 60, 80, or 100 depending on how bad my husbands vision is. We pay a lot each month for good vision so I called our insurance company and explained the situation they said we would only have to pay 25 for the visit and the rest would come out of our contact allowance. When we arrived I tried to explain this the the receptionist, she called and also spoke with our insurance company and basically told them they dont allow their members to do that. So we left and went to Stanton where we paid $20.
Im satisfied with my glasses, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
Not happy with this place at all! Made an appointment for my son to have an eye exam. I tried to contact the place for the insurance and get a message that it is permanently closed. I have left several messages about this and even called their corporate office,(who had no idea they were closed)! I have since scheduled an appointment elsewhere.
No point in making an appointment. Walked in a second behind this couple. Heard them talk to the receptionist, they were walk-ins (I had an appointment). I finished filling out the form before either of them (several minutes), and was still seen last. Didnt say anything to the staff about it. Will not be coming back.
Didnt like the fact that I stood in the store for a half hour before anyone said hi or they will be with me shortly. Then discussed options with the rep on the glasses I wanted, and then tells me its going to take 7-10 business days. So what your saying is that I was going to buy 2 pair of glasses and you couldnt find a way to get the lens earlier? The interesting part of this is when I left he walked right by me in the mall telling someone that he was on his way home. So helping the customer out wasnt so important it was getting home. Work ethics just not there. Its people like this I like to meet 10 years from now and see where they progressed.
Lens crafter really do care about our eyes. I love the eye exam I really can tell by in the past using a different place lens crafter dont rush you though they take there time to fit the right glasses that they stand behind.
Get experience, friendly and helpful staff
Very unprofessional customer service, especially with Brandon, the guy who actually makes your lenses. He argumentatively and rudely refused to admit he made my lenses incorrectly, even though it was verified by 3 different legitimate outside sources. I received a full refund and I am never going back. Buyer beware!
Piss poor customer service just now. Today is 7/9/18. I went in around 3:15pm and the gentleman who was “helping” me didnt care to tend to me at all. I asked for a quote on my lenses and handed him my prescription. He takes it then says I can only give a quote if you pick out a frame. No big deal. I get a frame and proceed to hand it to him just to find my prescription just laying on some random display. I get the prescription and frame to hand to the man and he says ill have that to you in a second. I go back to looking at frames like any normal customer would. After about 5 minutes i turn around and notice he is fully helping another customer rather than helping the one he was already engaged with.Very poor communication skills, lack of intrest in the customer and leaving personal information laying around of the customers. As someone who has worked retail this is absolutly unacceptable. I will not be returning to LensCrafters in the South Plains Mall for any reason. Sad to say that because I always have done business with LensCrafters.
I had great service, and I love my glasses.
Horrible, they charge wayyyy to much for the lenses and the frames. I went in there and purchased 2 pair for 832$, needless to say I went back later and cancelled the transaction. Its horrible that they can justify screwing people out of that much money when you can go somewhere else and get 2 pair of designer glasses for half that price, just horrible.
