Pretty small compared to the old nacogdoches location which shut down but the lufkin mall is located in a good area and this jcpenny was overall nice and I get a good look of the mall from the middle of the store as well I’ll visit again sometime maybe buy something there to

Good deals on back to school clothes, not the best selection but you beat some of the deals, my daughter loves their work out clothes

Found everything looking for and cashier helped in licating what they did not have. There were however, no associates on the the floor to help or any at the fitting rooms. One was locked so had to go to other side of store to find one unattended but not locked.

Didnt buy anything, but the store was pretty well stocked and all the workers were pleasant.

I though that it was closed down cause it looked deserted but it didnt actually open until 11 but overall i loved my visit great customer service and kudos to the faculty

Yknow, JC Penney is the only store that that has clothing that really fits! Small is small. Petite is petite. I am getting a little worried that this local store may be on the way to closing. Shelves are looking emptier. But, the people that work there are as helpful as ever. If a store is near you, buy something there. There are many markdowns. Maybe some effort will keep it going! If you buy Jewelry, either get All the warranty or dont get anything. A ring purchased in Dec, but left in the box till May 25. Purchased for Blue Line that washed off in 3 days! Had to send it off for Warranty! Hey! Ive got comfortable with a $10.00 silicone one.

After all of my clothes were ruined I spent three days trying to get to this store. I finally got there and shopped for a few hours and another hour trying on. Im not a slow shopper by any means, but with needing the amount of clothes I did of course it takes a while. By the time I was headed to the register it was thirty minutes until closing. Ive been in retail and understand youre ready to get home. I am very considerate of that and thats why I apologized to the women that put the clothes back that didnt fit and apologized (it was a fair amount) but instead of getting a no problem or oh thats okay; she roles her eyes. I blow it off and go to the counter to checkout. On the way I hear (obviously taking purposely loud and rude) the employee just mentioned and the manager talking about my friend and I. Mind you, we were by far not the only customers in the store. Still I blow that off as well. There was a male cashier that was very polite but the manager still treated us like complete trash. Luckily there was a problem with the card. I would have been ridiculously mad at myself for spending money at that store. I will not waist a penny with such outstandingly rude management. I also saw her not allow other customers to continue shopping and was rude with them as well. They set the merchandise down and left. I should have just done the same.

This stores men’s clothing section is fairly well organized. They have a large selection of lower priced men’s dress shirts with a wide variety of colors and patterns to choose from.There are not many employees on the floor so getting assistance when needed can be quite difficult. However everyone I have dealt with has been friendly and courteous.The checkout is not clearly marked but I have found anywhere you see a computer you can checkout.

Great sales! I bought very nice ties for $3 and $5. The sales team is very helpful and polite. Clean organized store! I will continue to shop there for dress shirts and ties.

Didnt have what I wanted

Bought a jacket on the 21st, and attempted to return it on the 26th due to sizing issues. Woman at the resigster on day of purchase neglected to mention that once points are used, even if returned with tags on completely and unworn, they cannot be reissued at all whatsoever. Even having the gift receipt at time of return only promised a store gift card, no money actually refunded even though jacket was laid for in cash.Im very displeased at the way jcpennys treats it customers and how it makes the employees seem to be the bad guys from the corporate rulings. Will not be returning, and its no wonder business for the stores is dwindling.

Customer service was excellent but, it was so warm that we had to leave. Which is unfortunate because we really didnt get to shop like we normally do.

This JCPenneys seemed unkempt with a lot of the product having a rummaged through look as if the employees were not keeping Pace with facing or returning the product to its location. Most of the products seem to be on sale with a price which was probably the real price and an original price that seemed ridiculous. We had not been to JCPenneys in awhile and the prices seem to have gone up quite a bit. We had to do some exchanges and the customer service seemed okay but the employee that we dealt with did not seem that knowledgeable about their return/exchange policy. Their pricing also seemed inconsistent as the shoes we wished to exchange were approximately $15 at one location but $22.95 at this location. The only minor difference being the color of the shoe.

Found super cute shoes. Sales staff helpful. Some were confused about when sale was and was not...but they were eager to assist me and my shopping buddy. I will be back tomorrow to seek new adventures and tomorrows sale prices.

This place is terrible. I have reward money earned and still cant find anything worth buying. I used to shop at Pennys all the time but theyve gone downhill overall. This particular location has little selection and poor customer service.

Its a department store, has everything JC Pennys should have. I just dont know why none of these stores carry wide shoes for women. Its crazy, most women have a wider foot especially once they get older.
