Contacted dealer ahead of time and was told that they would do Kelley blue book pricing and then after driving an hour I was then told that there would be a $4000 Dollar addition to help keep dealerships open. Really wish I was informed before hand….

I just bought my car yesterday, so I am reviewing the sales experience and not the car. We walked in the door and was greeted by Bob Waite. He sat us down right away and gave us a pleasant account of the car we wanted to buy. He was knowledgeable and patient and we had fun bantering in between taking care of business. I never felt pressured, and I found myself test driving an Outback within a half hour. Dont think you are going to deal with a pushover in Bob, however. I was hoping to negotiate for a few dollars off which always worked in the past, but Bob didnt budge an inch on the price yet made me feel comfortable with that. Once we said OK to the sales, Colette took over with the finances (()% for four years!) and she was patient while we fumbled with taking our freezes off the credit companies, which we totally forgot we had done. So get that done BEFORE you go to the dealer. Over all, it was a good experience and so far, we LOVE the car.

From the first moment we walked in the door, we were paid attention to and welcomed. The atmosphere was friendly and pleasant. Justin Gordon did everything right, including the Car and Driver magazine on his desk with great reviews of the Subaru line. We had already been to 4 other dealers but did not want to make up our minds without trying out a Subaru Forester. Justin set up a test drive for us, and by the time we came back from around the block, we had almost made up our minds. We went to lunch and called Justin back to tell him we wanted the car. A few days later, we went in to pick it up. Justin spent almost an hour going over all the fancy things, including setting up our phones for Bluetooth. Also Collette from Finance was friendly and efficient. She explained everything well and made sure we had all the paperwork in line. Nice dealership, friendly attentive salesmen. Our second new Subaru from them in less than 3 years. After doing paperwork to purchase, I asked if they could throw in a set of $76 rain guards and I would even install them. Our salesman asked the manager, Im assuming, and he said no. Salesman said he would check with somebody higher. My fault for not asking first... should we get another Subaru in 4 of 5 years, we will checkout the Subaru dealer next to where my wife works in New Hampshire. So, for not throwing in a $80 item, we might use another Subaru dealership for future needs... another reason would be for ease when needing service... the rain guards was just the nudge needed to look elsewhere. I will add that everyone we dealt with was excellent, pleasant and professional! I do recommend them though as they are overall a good group of people.Shame on the person that said No for an $80 item when we bought a $35,000+ vehicle! They did give me $1,300 over the Subaru guaranteed trade value on our 2018 crosstrek...but used that excuse for not taking money off the MSRP or throwing in the rain guards. So, $80 bucks cost them 1 star from me.

I went to this place expecting top notch service. Offered to fix 1 portion my muffler sytem for about $1700. Not OEM parts, stated they would get it from NAPA auto part,I ended up getting it fixed at a local shop for less than $500. Not to mention they put me in a loaner for a day to butter me up.

I went in to take advantage of the current financing options and was not pleased with my experience. I knew what I wanted to pay based upon pricing from their own website and when I showed the sales manager his own pricing he looked straight at me and said he wasnt interested in makingtmaking deal. So, I went a little further away and got the exact deal I wanted with a much better experience. If you want to pay sticker price for a vehicle, Im sure its a great place, just dont take their online prices as real.

I went to North End Mazda because my lease was up at CDJ Lawless in Woburn and I had seen online that NEM had my dream car. I absolutely hate the process of getting a car because I suffer from severe anxiety. Everyone I spoke to was super nice, non evasive, no pressure. Very knowledgeable on the Ford Taurus SHO 2015 which is what I purchased. From start to finish I had ZERO anxiety which is insane because I cant walk into a super market without feeling a little anxiety. I also found out that CDJ Lawless of Woburn down played my credit to give me a higher apr. I forget the gentlemens name that finalized the paper work but I really appreciated him letting me know my credit was excellent. Every person I dealt with was wonderful (sorry im bad with names). I always like working with them, seem to be honest and work with you no matter the situation (such as a global pandemic). Even though, in the past, I bought cars somewhere else (found another car better deal) I always reached out to NorthEnd as they were just pleasant to deal with and were up front with costs of any vehicle. Finally everything lined up right with looking for a car AND them having one I wanted and I can say it was as easy and pain free as I would hope. At least give them a try as it is a nice break from your typical dealership hassles.UPDATE: Set to two stars for the time being as there is an issue with the car. Scheduled service, will update the review once I see how service does and how they treat a newly purchased used vehicle customer.Second UPDATE: They said they fixed the issue, drove back up and the moment I took the car out the issue was still present, but at lower speeds. Turned around, took the service individual out and he heard it. Got the loaner back, drove back home and am waiting for a update as they had to order a speaker for another issue, along with diagnosing and fixing the original complaint.Third UPDATE: Been around a month and still waiting on a call back for the repair to the speaker.Final UPDATE (roughly a month and a half after purchase): Everything has been fixed.

Terrible service experience. Brought my car in at 7:45a for routine maintenance and recalls. All work that I could have completed in approximately two to three hours. Car was promised to be returned the same day, and of course, it wasnt. They cant do inspection/emissions testing, which is disappointing. Upon getting the car back, they have taken zero care with it. All the lids and cover panels in the back (behind the third row) have been removed and simply thrown in the back. My childs car seat was removed and placed back on the seat. It was not reinstalled, and no mention was made about it. It wasnt until I was driving and hit the brakes that it became obvious that it wasnt attached, and now served as a missile rocketing forward.Given the lack of care that they demonstrated with the obvious things, I can only imagine the horrible work they did on those things that are not obvious.

We were ready to upgrade my husbands Subaru and he met Bob during a service visit. Bob allowed us to sit in some cars to get a feel of what we may want. We decided to visit other dealerships to do our good diligence - because lets face it, you want to be sure you are getting a good deal. After only a few hours at other dealerships, we knew purchasing an Outback from Bob would be the right choice. Bob was friendly, not pushy and had our best interest in mind from the first interaction. Least stressful car purchase ever. Glad to now be a part of the North End family.

Okay, car dealerships- not someplace anyone would usually give 5 stars but Ive had my share of horrible experiences and just okay experiences buying cars over the years. But, everyone I dealt with at North End was great. I knew what car I could afford, knew they had what I was looking for after much online research and hunting around. They made the process to purchase a used vehicle very smooth, relaxed and friendly! I will definitely go back to them in the future and thrilled that they will be maintaining the used car I purchased for my son.
