Been going to gbs since openened never had a problem till today bought a swamp cooler motor from them that is no good would not honor warranty owner said in 30 yrs of running store he never saw an issue where low speed works and hi doesnt unless I was wrong in setting up not true went to hm depot got new part after another 100 bucks works perfect on hi and low owner is a piece of s@@@ just like I told him to his face will never go back again

They also have general supplies for those who dont need a 50-pound box of nails, a pallet of ready-mix concrete, or a subdivisions worth of fencing.Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable to help you find what they inventory. Great building supply store. A large variety of many brands for tool replacement. They also make keys and staff is very knowledgeable. I was impressed with their speedy service as well as their vast array of tools, supplies and things that a normal tool store doesnt carey.

My go hardware store in Madera! Great selection of merchandise, wonderful prices (very comparable to the big box stores) and customer service second to none! Knowledgeable, attentive, polite and they appreciate their customers and an on site owner...you dont find that in many establishments in this day and age. It is appreciated.

This is a small hardware store that has been in town for years. You get much more personalized service than you get in the large chain stores. The people are very friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are comparable to the bigger stores. They have quite a bit packed into the store as well.

They carry a lot of good items you cant find at other places. Not too big like the big box office stores.

Smaller hardware store than Home Depo or Lowes, but they always have excellent service and seem to always have what I need.

You know Ive been using this store for years giving them alot of my business, I go in there with my son the other day to do some normal shopping, and when I was leaving my son wanted a gum ball but I guess it did not work so the owner just happened to be standing there so I ask for some assistance, and was very rude maybe he needs and attitude adjustment which I could definitely supply him with, so I probably wont be doing any more shopping there.
