Contacted this company as advised by Bosch for a dishwasher under warranty. Was a NO SHOW. Waited 3 hours and called when didnt show up but no answer. I repeat what other reviews have stated, do not call this company. I am calling Bosch and asking them to remove this company as a recommended repair service for their products. This is ridiculous.**Addendum** Showed up 4 hours after end of scheduled time window and promptly fixed the problem. Better late than never***
Our fridge stopped working after 2 months and GE set us up through appliance service pros, not by choice. They are horrible. We had an appointment and they never came and looked at it. In order to get the refrigerator replaced GE says they need to look at it and appliance service pros ghosted us. They will not return our calls and I would recommend that you never use their services.**The calls and service request is under David Nester
I have no idea how this company stays in business. Stay away.We found this company through the Frigidaire website because our unit was under warranty. Service Manager diagnosed our fridge over the phone and explained to us what a poor fridge purchase decision we made. Thanks, dude. He told us that he needed to order a fan. We called back repeatedly over the subsequent weeks asking about when this part would arrive. Each time, the person answering had no record of us. Wed always get the assurance that the part was ordered, and they had no idea when it would arrive. Eventually, we gave up and used a different company, which got the part in 3 days.Service Manager is extremely rude and condescending on the phone. He might be the rudest customer service person with whom Ive ever interacted.
I made an appointment and was told that they would come to my home from 9am-10am. No one showed up. I called them back and no one picks up the phone.
Really poor service. Called with an issue re: dish washer, was told there was a specific part I needed, that Appliance Service Pros would order it, and that it would take about 10 days to come in. They apparently tried to order it but kept no record of having tried, and never called to let me know the part was no longer available. So, after about 2 weeks of a nonfunctional dish washer, I called them back and got the story that I explained above. Had to just go out and buy a new dish washer, which would have been fine if I hadnt been waiting two weeks to do it! Basically, if they had just told me that the part was no longer available, it would have saved me two weeks of struggling to keep dishes from piling up with two teens in the house. Very frustrating.
No one else in town would even look at our Samsung refrigerator, but this company knew exactly the issue, arrived with the correct parts, and fixed it in one trip. Strongly recommend!
We scheduled a repair and were told that a technician would come between 11:00-1:00. No one called. To his credit, he finally showed up, but it was *five* hours later. He fixed the dishwasher (I think), but he was dismissive and rude when I asked questions. Bosch paid for the service call, but I would never use this company again. Unreal.
Does not answer calls or return messages, and if you do happen to get ahold of him hell try to tell you he does. It took me over a year to get ahold of them and my appliance was out of warranty. Look at his history on any site that rates the business, there is definitely a pattern.
They didn’t fully repair my refrigerator. I called back multiple time and left messages, but never received a response. Was forced to call TriCounty who came out and finished the job
Tech was scheduled to arrive between 11 am and 1 pm today. Nobody showed up, and I received no phone call. At 1:25 pm I called their contact phone and of course I got voice mail, so I left a message. It is now 2:15 pm and I have heard from nobody. This company is unreliable and has very poor customer contact setup. I wasted 3 hours of my time waiting on them with no contact. They have zero respect for their customers time and schedules.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. He rarely answers his phone. Voice mails not answered sometimes for a few days. He was 2-3 hours late for ALL appointments without a call. Took 1 1/2 weeks to get the part we needed for our refrigerator that he said would only take a few days without a call from him to let us know what was happening and MANY voice mails left. He put in the part - which seemed to take a long time to do - then it was broken the next day. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! IF I COULD GIVE 0 or NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!!
I set up an appointment to have my oven repaired last week. We set up a time and I was excited. The day before I went and bought some of my favorite baking foods. They didn’t show up. I wasn’t gonna leave a bad review, but after a few days I’m still really angry about it. Worst part is, everywhere I’ve called there’s a wait of about a week. So even if everything goes smoothly, it will still be a while before I can use my oven.
This was a new low for customer service. They came out (after several voicemails were left) Nobody answers the phone its vm only. After $400 to repair the main computer, we were left with another problem. The water and ice dispenser no longer worked. After about 10 voicemails and one successful call back promising to get back to me, I still am left with a broken dispenser and no follow up. Possibly the WORST customer service Ive experienced.
Jay is a knowledgeable, pleasant man that works fast once he arrives. The downside of his business is that he doesnt show up when he says he is going to show up and it is difficult to reach him by phone. Good work. Below average follow through.
I had an appointment with them today to repair my dishwasher. They said they would call ahead for an appointment between 3-5. I scheduled my afternoon around waiting for them and when it got to be 4:30 with no phone call I called them but it kept going to voicemail. So when I received a voicemail at 4:56 I assumed it must be them trying to call ahead to come over. This is the voicemail that they left, Hi, this is appliance service pros at 608-***-****. You had called here a little while ago, and Im returning your call. Thanks, bye-bye. So clearly they were not calling ahead, they were just trying to return my phone calls and didnt even realize I was calling about the appointment I made. Then at 6:13 I received this voicemail, Hello. Its appliance service pros at 608-***-****. We were scheduled to stop there today between 3 and 5 and we had you as a call ahead. So we were calling to see if it was okay to stop by. I know that someone from the office called you earlier and couldnt get a hold of you either right then I guess that was right around 5:00. So, I guess when you get a chance, give us a call back and we can reschedule for another time. Thanks, bye-bye.They were implying it was my fault that they didnt come to the appointment. Even if that phone call was to call ahead it was already too late because they said they would be here between 3-5p and 4 minutes is not enough time to call ahead. But as is evident by their voice mail, that wasnt the intention of their call, they just were calling to return my phone calls and made zero mention of the appointment they had with me. Additionally, it was the same person who called both times. In the second voicemail they left they seemed to be pretending that another person had called me. It was as if they didnt realize that voicemails leave recorded evidence. There are other appliance repair companies than this one, better to go with one of those instead of a dishonest unreliable one.
I put in a warranty claim back in April of 2019 for a refrigerator repair it is now November 2019. I called again in August and they said they were still waiting on the part. I spoke with the Refrigerator company and I was told part is available and Appliance Pros had cancelled my order. I was never contacted by Appliance Pros to notify me this and they have not returned my phone calls. I do not recommend working with this company.
Appliance Service Pros has kept our old Maytag washer going longer than anyone ever thought it would. Its nearly 50 years old, but it works just like new! All of their technicians know exactly what they are doing, and we are happy to recommend them to anyone.
It was quite surprising to discover how hard it was to find someone to repair our Samsung refrigerator. After calling at least 10 companies, Appliance Service Pros was the only one who would do it. The technician came out the same day, discovered the problem, ordered the new fan motor, and had it installed the next morning. Professional, neat, and reasonable. Great job. Highly recommended!
The gentleman who came to work on the oven was an older and knowledgeable person. It appeared that the company has a policy of not charging by the work but to charge based on the customers ability to pay. . If you live in a decent house, you can pay more. A $27.95 part for an oven was charged at $164 and the total bill for replacing an igniter was $295.40.. almost half the cost of a decent oven. If you dont want to get it repaired then the trip charge is $85. So be aware!
If I could give a negative star rating, I certainly would. I had a Samsung refrigerator and the ice maker wasnt working. I called Appliance Service Pros and Jay Allen was prompt in getting back to me and scheduling an appointment to come to my home. He thought the refrigerator also needed an electronic panel replaced, which he did before working on the ice maker. When he was trying to remove the ice maker (it was frozen), he pulled hard on it and I heard a loud air rushing noise. I knew that had to be the coolant line, so I said, Was that my coolant line that just broke? Jay said yes it was and he started to pack up his tools and get ready to leave. I asked him what was going on and he said he had to go back to his shop and research how to fix the coolant line and even if he did know how to fix it, he didnt have the parts with him. Meanwhile, my freezer was full of food and he said it would be fine for a day if I didnt open it. I ended up having to contact him again to find out what was going on only to find out the refrigerator could not be fixed. After multiple phone calls (Ill spare the details), we agreed on an amount for him to pay me for breaking my refrigerator/freezer. When he arrived, I only had an ice maker that didnt work, when he left nothing worked. All of this happened before Thanksgiving (November of 2018). It is now March of 2019 and I still have not received a dime. I have called Jay at Appliance Service Pros COUNTLESS times. He has never called me back. He only answered twice, the first time he apologized up and down and said he had the paperwork right there and would do it that week - that was nearly 3 months ago. The second time he pretended to be the answering service and claimed to know nothing about it - I recognized his voice, it was him. So, do NOT use this service. Im guessing he has no insurance and so is unable to pay even a small reimbursement that is due for a repair job gone bad. Next step is court unfortunately.
We operate several care facilities, and have a lot of appliances. We have really struggled to find people who can get the work done. We called Appliance Service Pros after trying several other service companies listed here. They came right away, and were able to discover the problem with the refrigerator, which turned out to be something that a previous company had screwed up. They fixed it the same day, had a very reasonable fee, and we couldnt be more happy with the work they did. This is our go-to service company from now on.
Couldnt find anyone who would work on my Viking Range, but Appliance Service Pros came out, discovered the problem quickly, and repaired it professionally. They had the parts on the truck, and my range works perfectly, in time for upcoming holidays! Thanks so much for your fabulous work!
Needed a microwave repaired. Dropped unit off and waited for return call. A month went by, didnt hear back- called and left message. No response. Left another message a week after. No response. Called a third time a week after (now going on two months)- finally got a call back. I expressed my frustation that not only was it not repaired, but they did not even give common courtesy of a status. Guy told me that they were all busy and didnt have time. I said that was fine, but the least they could do was return a call and give status. He told me that he was going to look at it that night. Two weeks go by, didnt hear back. Left message. No reponse. Left another message a week later. No response. This has become a total joke. Looks like I am just going to buy a new one as I am going to write this off as a loss. Will never call these guys again.
Appliance Service Pros really went out of their way to solve a problem with our dishwasher that two other companies could not fix. The first company came out and stated emphatically that nothing was wrong with our Bosch dishwasher, and charged us over $100 to tell us that. Once they left, we used it, and it stopped in the middle of the cycle and went dead just like it had many times before. We called them back for a return visit, and the technician again claimed that nothing was wrong. And it failed again. We called another company which claimed that we needed a new control board, and that the repair would be over $400. That was a lot, so we called Bosch only to find that the control board was still under warranty, and we shouldnt have to pay anything near that to have our dishwasher repaired. Bosch directed us to Appliance Service Pros who came to the house after Bosch had sent them a control board. He wasnt there 10 minutes when he discovered that there was nothing wrong with the control board at all, and that the problem was a loose wire in the junction box preventing voltage from being supplied to the unit.If you want the appliance fixed correctly, always call Appliance Service Pros first. They know what they are doing, and they wont try to sell you things you dont need.
A week after posting my review, ASP now received 9 glowing reviews...a little too convenient? I think so--------------------------Original review:I dont have time to babysit my customers...are you f-ing kidding me?The WORST customer service. I have a Bosch dishwasher that arrived DOA and Bosch recommended 3 companies in the area to perform service. Unfortunately I called this one first. They were quick to come out to take a look at the dishwasher. However when we got home that day (was not home at time of service), the garage door was left open and they left all the items from in the sink cabinet sitting on the floor. Two days later I still had not heard from them on the results from them coming to my house. I called them, and left a message asking to be called back. A day later they called me and left a message to only tell me that a part has been ordered, no other info. I called back asking for more info and heard nothing for 3 days. After calling multiple times (to only get a recording each time) and never getting a call back, I called again asking for the same information and asking he call me back as I am sick of the lack of response. They called me back about 10 minutes later and stated that the part was on order and he had no info on when it would arrive nor would he tell me what part was on order. He then stated I dont have time to babysit my customers, at that moment I hung up on him before I would have blown my top and really let him have it. I am due a response after I get a home visit, a respectful business would probably call back the day of service. Clearly AP does not care about their customers.I have left their info in a complaint to Bosch so that hopefully no one else deals with these unprofessional jerks, but I want to make sure others see this as well. Now I am off to call one of the other companies Bosch recommends, and start this process all over again. Thanks again Appliance Pros, great way to retain customers and keep your business open!-----------------------------After ASP Response:Edit: So nice to see you reply so quickly to my review. How about an apology for making a mess in my house, and not call me back two days after you came in for service to even let me know what is going on? How about instead of ignoring calls, you actually return them? How about you explain to me what part you needed to order (asked you several times) and an approximate time-frame on getting it installed? How about you not be a rude jerk on our last conversation? And thank you for stating that I called you 40 times (and 25 in one day). Lets not ignore the fact that you have like 6 different numbers listed as well as different locations on your website. All of which go to the same message line. Lets also not ignore the fact that you have the ability to let 40 phone calls go unanswered. When you have that many numbers listed and it has been two days since you came to the house, you bet you are going to get a lot of calls.
They have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. they never answer calls and it was a pain to set up a appointment, also after several attempts to set up an appointment they gave me one day and a time frame, they didnt show up on time so I called them 40 min after the time frame and they said the technical was running late and he will be here on 30 more minutes. It was very disrespectful from them not letting me know about the time frame change and again they never show up. I’m very upset with there awful service and I don’t recommend them at all.
They have been doing service for us for many years. Fast, reliable service, and always able to fix the problem. Most recently, repaired our leaking front load washer for a fraction of the cost of buying a new one. Highly recommended.
You are definitely not just a number with this company. Jay will work tenaciously to fix problems. It simply isnt in his nature to cut corners or do a half-assed job. He is also very knowledgeable about all appliances, it seems. Definitely not just someone who follows steps he was trained. He understands how things work like an engineer would. In fact, it would surprise me greatly if he wasnt educated as one. I dont know if hes the cheapest option, but as they say, you usually get what you pay for.
Has fixed/repaired our appliances for many years. Good service and fair price. Five stars.
HORRENDOUS. Arrived two hours late. Charged $380 for a part that I later discovered could be purchased online for $79 - the exact same factory authorized part. i would have understood if it had taken several hours to replace the part, but it took only 15 minutes.
They take your call and then never do anything. After 3 follow up calls they still have not returned my call after telling me they were ordering parts for my appliance.
Finding someone for weekend repairs was challenging, and our dryer broke the first day back after vacation, with a house full of laundry to do. Appliance Service Pros came out, had the part for our Samsung dryer in stock, and got it going right away for a reasonable cost. We had clean clothes to start the week off! Yay! We will always use them in the future!
Came out to my house on two separate occasions when I was having issues with my refrigerator and wash machine. I received a quick response, he was on time for the appointment and he was knowlegeable and explained the problem in depth, along with options for repair. Happy customer!
Our 30 year old Maytag dryer broke, and another company told us that there were no parts available for it, so it couldnt be repaired. We called Appliance Service Pros, and the technician found the problem and had the part in stock. He fixed it in one trip. I have no idea why the other company said it couldnt be fixed, but thanks! You did a great job!
Careful observation showed my gas dryer was lighting properly, but when cycling to control temperature, did not reignite, with rattling of the solenoids. Jay agreed the solenoids needed replacement and scheduled a visit for the following day, when he replaced them and retested the dryer: prompt service and successful outcome!
Arrived on time, and quickly solved our refrigerator problem. Great experience! Would highly recommend to anyone needing repairs.
If I could give no stars...I would. Steer clear of this so called business. Terrible customer service.
Had a gas leak in my range. All MG&E did was disconnect it and shut it off. Appliance Service Pros came out and located the leak and got the replacement part the next day. Its been working perfectly for a week now! Thank you!
Called to pick up a part for a fridge because this place was close to work. Guy answers and tells me no one is there now but someone will be there in 30 min. I ask him if he has the part in stock, claims he does but it is an aftermarket part not an OEM part. Its cheaper by about 50% so I show up to buy the part.Place does not exist. No sign. No location. Called him 5 times over the course of an hour, never answered or showed up. If the service does exist, he runs it out of his home and use the address as a front. O yeah, he also doesnt use OEM parts, probably just cheap knockoffs from China.Stay away!
Spoke with Jay who has ZERO customer service skills. GE scheduled Appliance Service Pros 3 weeks ago to fix my refrigerator (warranty repair) They canceled on me same day for no reason. GE reschedules them and after trying to call them 5+ times I finally get a call back saying they wont drive to Blue Mounds because GE doesnt pay them enough money to go outside their west side of madison zone. So they just ignore their service calls and dont show up! Needless to say, if you are paying for an appliance repair, look elsewhere! Lots of other great options in madison.EDIT: Jay Allen below is the owner.... who likes to give himself 5 stars.
Found time for me very quickly (esp considering he handles phone calls AND visits!), did a great job on my room AC, knew just how to get it open and figured out very quickly out why it was leaking ALL over! Hurray for Jay and my un-soggy rugs!
Excellent service! Honest, friendly and prompt! Thanks, Jay! Oh, and he repaired the problems!!!
Billed for services, had same issues within a week and did nothing about it. Damaged floor while repairing fridge; refused to give insurance information for repair work. Ended up having to buy a replacement as he could not fix the issue or the mistakes he made.
This place NEVER has anyone in their office so they should state that.
Fast service, and immediately solved the problem with our refrigerator.
Very, very frustrated & unhappy with Jay. I’m out close to $400 & the frig still isn’t making ice & this is over a year ago. He has tried numerous times to fix it & call the Co & talk to their techs. The least he could do is refund some of the money & say sorry I can’t fix it!!! Just beware, don’t pay him until you know for sure the problem is fixed!!!
ASP came out soon after call and fixed the problem with my dryer quickly at reasonable cost.
Very knowledgeable, fixed a problem Id been having with my dishwasher that no one else had been able to figure out.
Several other companies were unable to repair my dishwasher, but Appliance Service Pros was able to resolve the problem very quickly.
On time and GREAT service !!
Do not do business with this company. Charged me for a part that Didn’t fix my refrigerator. Said he would process a refund, didn’t do it, and now won’t return a call. Thieves and liars!
I havent worked with Jay Allen, but I find the negative reviews very difficult to believe given all of my other interactions with him.
