Best doc around! Taught me so much about my eyes and difficulties I’ve been experiencing my whole life and never knew AND provided recommendations! Highly recommend!!

Friendly staff and knowledgeable doctor! They had my prescription contacts on hand and the glasses came in a few days!! Great glasses selection also.

I called in to make an appointment for my son. I told the female on the phone he was 5 and she told me it was a waste of time for me to come in because they really had nothing for that age. That week we Happened to be near the Burnsville location and did a walk in and had the most friendly associate. She helped him out a pair and was great at explaining the different types of lenses and what would work best for his age. We then had them mailed to us. We Went to the Mankato store to get them adjusted and the light brown haired associate was rude and short with my son. “ we can adjust the ear pieces, but not the bridge “ stated I understood and that’s what I was asking her to do. She adjusted them quickly and gave them back. She never even looked to see if the adjustment helped.I then walked over to the kids section where they had a decent section of glasses for kids to choose from including the pair I had ordered for my son at the Burnsville location.

The doctor at this locating taught me a couple of things which I never knew before; even after 35 years of wearing contacts. AND, he found a better fitting type of contacts for my eyes which dont irritate me; after 2 years of being in the seemingly incorrect uncomfortable brand/type.

My entire family has had great experience with the staff at Perle Vision. The Dr. Explained to my kids what their problems were in plain language so that they understood. He told them what he was doing and explained everything. We will recommend this Dr. to everyone we know. He diagnosed a problem with our son that no one else has found.When it came time to picking out frames the staff was so helpful with the kids making sure that they had a good fit.

Ive been a Pearle customer at this location for ten years. I always get excellent customer service. The staff helps with choosing the best frames for my face shape. Great frame selection! The Doctors are professional and thorough. I am hard on my glasses and when I need the frames adjusted or repaired the work is completed quickly and with attention to the fit. 100% satisfied. I recommend to anyone who wants quality professional eye care.

I have been a customer of this store for years. Any issues have been promptly taken care of, and they always make sure the glasses are correct. The best part is getting to see the girls who run the place! They are a hoot!

This was my first experience at Pearle Vision and my last. The employee that helped me place my order for the glasses was not very helpful. She obviously did not want to be there, and did not seem to have any interest in helping me find a new pair of glasses. I found a frame I liked and placed my order. Took a bit over a week to get them which wasnt a problem, only had to stop in and pick them up. After having them for a no less the 2 weeks one of the lenses popped out of the frame.A different employee helped me with the glasses when I stopped in. She was not respectful at all. She told me it was my fault that it had popped out and that I had ruined the frame. The only time I use glasses is at night and I had barley worn them. She was very rude, and didt seem to care about my glasses, only about getting me out of the store. Even after she got the lenses back in the frame, the frame itself didnt sit right. The glasses are uncomfortable and I paid over $400 for them. I would rather pay another place to fix them properly then to go back. Terrible Experience. Do not recommend. Go elsewhere.

I was disappointed with the bed side manner of the doctor. For one he pushed on the back of my head twice when I blinked when he was shooting that puff of air in my eyes. He explained to me about my dry eyes and what I can do about it. But very impatient when He was testing me and I wouldnt answer fast enough for him. I wont go back.

They sold me glasses that didn’t fit my face and with breaking the pair in it’s hard to even keep them on while doing simple tasks like walking around. The glasses also are damaging my face. I called to try and get something done with it and they just turned me around. I don’t recommend going to this place at all. They weren’t much a help and the guy that examined me was very rude and impatient. With all I’m experiencing the price I paid for these glasses I paid too much for. WARNING!!! DO NOT CONSIDER THIS PLACE! Find better suitable options over this place.

I don’t usually write reviews at all, good or bad, but this place had Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service that I feel the need to warn others. DO NOT waste your time with this place. The receptionist is incredibly rude.

Allow me to share my “customer experience” with Pearle Vision here in Mankato, MN. My wife had an eye appointment and needed to order new glasses. She had brought her other 2 pairs to be adjusted during this same visit. The owner, Betty, adjusted them and we went on our way. Once we arrived home my wife realized that her 2 pairs had a haze on the lenses. She contacted the store and brought them to be looked at. Betty inspected them and said, “yeah I must of crazed them when I adjusted them. We can get them fixed for $80 which is 20% off.” What?!? I called the store later that day and asked why we would be charged to fix damage that YOU caused. Her response was “we don’t take responsibility for adjustments....especially when you didn’t buy them here.” I saw NO postings in the store saying this nor was that ever disclosed. I left the store and called their “corporate” number which asked me to fill out a form online and someone would call back within 3 days. Well someone did.....the STORE. We continued to reach out for better understanding as to why we should have to pay for damage they ADMIT they did. Not one call from anyone above them. Well, the ladies who own this fine establishment refused to allow for common sense and so my wife and I are now forced to pay $80 to fix their damage. Needless to say, they lost 2 customers and I hope any of you reading this will add your name to the list as well. @pearlevision

This place is horrible. Frames are super cheap and they wont honor warranty. Ive gone through 3 sets of frames in 2 years. Ill be taking my business elsewhere and you should too.

Dr rushed me through. Said my eyes had gotten better due to low blood sugar. I am not diabetic so not sure what he was talking about. The desk staff are not friendly and make you feel like a burden.

I couldnt be more pleased with the service and the glasses I just received. There was a good selection of up to date frames and doctor was very thorough. Ill be back!

Service here is extremely below average. I have never reviewed a business online, but my experience here is worth sharing for potential customers.The turn around for a shipment to come in was estimated to be 7-14 days at the time of my appointment, but due to whatever complications Pearle Vision in Mankato is experiencing, we are going on a month without being able to pick up glasses.If you are a normal person and work/travel during the week AND you need glasses/service within a reasonable time frame, it might be worth to shop around other places as professionalism and urgency are not two things Pearle Vision in Mankato values. I wish 0/5 stars was an option.

I went in for my first eye exam (at the age of 20) because I have never had any issues and could see great. I went in because I was worried my eye sight was going a little downhill. I told the Doctor off the bat that he had a decent rating on google (regretted that immediately) and I had never been to an actual eye doctor before, other than school checks. The doctor kept bringing up the fact that I had never gone to an eye doctor and how ridiculous that was and how my parents should have brought me in years ago. A lot of rude comments towards me and my parents (of which he just met me and has no clue who my parents are) were made. I was actually pretty bothered. He also was very robotic-like which was annoying. I know he had been doing that for a very long time but him asking me questions through my exam, was very quick and poorly explained.

Just a terrible overall experience. The original trying on of glasses went ok, and I was happy with my visit then. When I went in to get my lenses I had my insurance card and she said we dont run insurance. Later I called my insurance and they said they covered lenses. They called Pearle Vision got me a refund, but I needed to go in so they could put it back on my card, instead of just refunding me. Then, when my prescription turned out to be incorrect (not their fault), and I went in for correction lenses, I was explaining what was happening and she kept interrupting me, all the while saying I dont know what youre saying. She answered 3 phone calls from other customers and helped them before me. Eventually she said she couldnt update my prescription because my doctor didnt put an expiration on the prescription. Just a terrible experience, wish I could rate it 0 stars.

The people were great to work with, Doctor was great and very friendly, the staff showed care with my need for eye glasses. I will come back, overall just a great place to go to for your eye needsBob Good

The Optometrist was very nice & spent the time to explain my condition in terms I could understand. The ladies up front helped me find glasses & were enjoyable to talk to.

Too expensive and very rude and unprofessional people. So glad I got different insurance so I could go elsewhere. Besides the eye doctor never listen to what I was saying about my sight finally went somewhere else that verified something is wrong and referring me to a optometrist. If you can avoid this place please do.

One star is an overstatement. I highly recommended NOT going to pearle vision in Mankato. Yes the doctor is nice but the terrible front desk help far outweighs that. Ive dealt with them on a few occasions and its been a few times to many. Go somewhere that actually cares for you and your business!

Is this place still open? I have been trying to call them since March to get some glasses fixed and no one ever answers.

The woman working the front desk and answering the phones needs some lessons in customer service. If you call or walk in the door, she treats you as a burden as opposed to a customer. Also, I called to cancel an appointment and she just said ok, and hung up. The treating optometrist, as well as Pearle Vision, should be pissed that she doesnt even try to reschedule, and is actively driving customers out the door. However, the Dr. I saw was friendly and seemed knowledgable.

I have been going for years. Always have good service and we have a good time teasing each other
