Brought our Volvo here for a hitch installation. Everyone was very polite and helpful. The install seems to have been done perfectly. Was offered a complimentary loaner vehicle without hassle, which is one of the reasons to spend some extra money on a car like a Volvo.The XC90 courtesy vehicle was a bit older, which wasnt an issue, but it absolutely reeked of cigarettes. There was also a huge sticker on the windscreen, that blocks a good bit of your view, advising customers to not smoke in the vehicle. I get that things happen but the combo of years worth of cigarettes and air freshener was nauseating. This was clearly a very long-standing issue with this particular XC90 that the dealership had chosen to just roll with. I would have appreciated a heads up prior to my service appointment if this was the only courtesy vehicle available. A porter and other staff drive these vehicles so they know the condition of them.Im not saying dont go here for service. I just think there is some improvement that could be done to be on par with other luxury service centers.

The customer service AFTER you buy a car from Dean Team is awful! Do not buy the warranty from them because as soon as they have your money...they dont care about you. I have called multiple times trying to get through to their finance dept and they dont answer. I have left messages and they dont call you back. And the lady answering the phone just transfers you to lines that are busy and she wont help. She is very rude and not helpful! I do not recommend Dean Team at all!!

I recently took a vehicle here for the first time. I experienced minor issues on 120k service on a 2013 Volvo XC T6, however they were resolved in a timely fashion. A follow up discussion with the Service Manager cleared up any remaining concerns and communicated improvements that are in progress.Looking forward to subsequent service appointments and the possibility of adding a 2nd, newer, Volvo to the household.

I went to The volvo Maplewood Used Dealership to test drive a car there. I was not impressed. I got to the Used Sales Office and the salesmen were all smoking vapes in the office - unprofessional - and the care i was looking for was listed as the wrong color - so i was not interested in purchasing it - but the sales men was RUDE and stated that consumers need to not be so picky about colors when cars arent readily available at this time. I wont be going back.

My wife and I were shopping around for a small SUV and we decided to check out Volvo Cars St Louis. We met up with Joe Magda and the conversation was friendly. We test drove the XC40 T5 R-Design Polestar and felt really good with the car.Next step came the dreaded bargaining process. The process was as expected. As a buyer you have to stand your grounds and be prepared to have some tension in the air.But eventually we agreed on a magic number that we all can agree with. Threw in some extras as well which my wife and I are happy to do.We’ve been driving this XC40 since April now and we have drove it to Utah Canyonlands and Colorado Rockies for a week long road trip and it was amazing. The car was amazing and we take exceptional care of all our cars. And we’ve been happy with Volvo Cars St Louis service thus far.It’s only quite recently I noticed the sunroof of the XC40 making a jiggling sound when its pouring outside. Time to bring it to Volvo to get it checked.

Honestly, this was one of the most pleasant car shopping experiences I’ve had. Went to numerous dealerships before unaware there is some shortage of new vehicles. Most places wouldn’t budge on price and didn’t take me seriously maybe because I was dressed pretty casually inquiring about an 80k vehicle. The guys at dean team worked with me on the price, didn’t pressure me to commit on the spot, and even delivered the car to my wife at her work to surprise her. They earned a customer for life! Ive purchased two new cars from this Volvo franchise. No issues with the buying experience, but their Service Dept compared to other Volvo dealers in St. Louis is awful. The biggest issue seems to be they are way understaffed. Trying to get thru to the Service Dept on the phone typically requires 2 or 3 calls and then when yo get thru and ask to schedule an appointment the usual attitude is like you are putting them out. The attitude when you show up with your car is no better. God forbid if you ask for a loaner. And when you get one you can be guaranteed its a car they purchased at an auction with high mileage.
If there was no star option available, I could have give 0 stars to this dealership. Worst place to go for service your car. Their service managers don’t have any sense or knowledge to work on any car. Worst attitude person. I sold my XC90 after my visit to this dealership. So that I don’t have to deal with this kind of people.
The customer service here is horrible. First time I came in I spent 6 hours buying a car. Waited an hour to even talk to someone. The sales people have little to no interest at all and barley even want to talk to you. Do not recommend coming here if you want good customer service.
Has to be the worst experience I’ve had purchasing a vehicle. My wife and I drove 6hrs to purchase a new XC90 and upon our arrival we were solicited to by our sales lady to purchase donuts for an employee’s daughter to go to Disney. That’s just where it started. We felt pressured by grant in finance to purchase extended warranties and ultimately argued with me about it non stop. Grant had to be the worst part of the whole deal. Very condescending and unprofessional. He never stood up and greeted me when we met and never shook my hand and thanked me for spending so much money with them. Where I come from that’s just something that is done. We were forced to finance our sales tax in due to it being an “out of state purchase” and come to find out the amount that they financed was not even the same amount as the check that was sent to my revenue office for the sales tax. And to top it all off when we left we were not given anything to show we had purchased the vehicle. So I had to call back up there and request some sort of documentation. I could keep going on and on about how terrible my experience was but we’d be here all night. All I can say is I will never send anyone here and will not be back myself.

Very incompetent service advisors the advisor (Alen P.) couldnt even call me when my car was ready and it sat up there for a whole extra day, work completed. I had to call asking if it was ready. His only response was O, I thought I called you . I expect more out of the Volvo brand but apparently not. My business is just another number to them. Terrible.
Had a great experience here trading in my car and buying a used car from the lot. Everything went very smoothly, including the financing. I would not hesitate to buy a car here again! My salesman was Bob Chitwood and he was very friendly and accommodating. He took care of everything for me from the time I walked in until the time I drove away in my new (to me) car! Gordon Woodbridge was amazing and really made me feel valued through out the whole purchase process. He always stayed in touch via text and phone and I like that. He made this deal work, I live in Jersey and bought the car sight unseen because Gordon really explained the condition of the car well, he was very honest and didnt try to do the typical sales man pitch. I recommend having your own financing ahead of time since. Gordon was amazing, went above and beyond to meet some request I have like getting a Polstar tuning and mud guards installed and he was able to get me a discount because by working the James in the parts department. They detailed my new used car, filled the gas tank and the pick up was very smooth. I would absolutely recommend working with Gordon Woodbridge because he was always willing to get answers if he did know something it responds very quickly. Pick up your car during the week when the service department is open so any issues can be addressed.
Trying to but a $122k car and they do not accept negotiations on a trade-in. the reply from their sale person Pinky Persons (is that even a real name?) was “I am the buyer here and I set prices and trade values“. Awful customer service.

Early last week I went online to book an oil change. I scheduled my car to be dropped off at 8 am a couple of days later. When I arrived, I realized I had booked my oil change for another Volvo dealership. In another state! Totally my error. After clearing up what happened with the service team, I assumed I would have to just make an appointment for another day. However, the service manager learned about my mistake and allowed me to squeeze in my oil change. The team was very nice and understanding. I know it can be tough for a service department to get in all of their work in for the day. So for them to fit me in was really going above and beyond. Thank you.
I am a repeat customer but slowly with each visit I was treated with less respect and curtiousy. Service person on pesonal phone refusing to acknowledge you, questions about service being ignored. I suspect it is because I am a man of Color, because other customers Not of Color were not treated this way! But when My bill had a hidden charged on it, No One would help Me the billing office was rude to me and I even called the Manager that same morning! I was blew off like Hot air on the date of 3/9/21, then lied to saying he would call me back! I paid the bill but Its been 4 days Now with not so much as any reply! I dont like being cheated by anyone but to be treated less a person as well...My money isnt good enough I guess I will have to find a Volvo service who isnt racially motivated.

Being able to schedule in advance and quick in/out when dropping off my vehicle and picking up the loaner was perfect. The one negative, and its not really a negative, is that my vehicle was not washed after service. Im not sure if the new facility has this option available but it would be a nice addition with higher end vehicles being sold and serviced at this location.

DO NOT BUY THE 2017 Cadillac ATS coupe or any used car from here. The mechanics are negligent and not trustworthy in the used car inspections. We drove from 2 hours away only to pop the hood and see an oil leak immediately that was not disclosed previously. After seeing this, we wanted to see the undercarriage of the car to see the intensity of the leak. When the car was in the air, I noticed the rear differential was also leaking. The mechanic was taking down the engine covers while we noticed this and he said “if you’re not going to buy the car, I’m not wasting my time”. All of these issues should be covered under Cadillacs warranty. The car only had 30,000 miles! This car has been there since September for a reason. Also, I had asked for the tire tread depths before driving there which were inaccurate. The rear tires are only at 4/32nd which is 1/32nd away from being illegal. When confronting the manager about these issues he did not seem to be concerned at all that this car was inspected by their mechanic and no issues were found. The only good thing was our salesman, Fred, was very friendly and helpful so thanks for that. Make sure you inspect a used car before you buy it. Overall, horrible experience at this dealership.

These guys are the best around! We bought a used car here 2 years ago and were blown away by how easy they made it and how helpful they were. Last week we needed a second car, and visited 5 different dealers around St. Louis. It was exhausting and very frustrating. Finally we came back to Dean Team Volvo and Patrick actually listened to what we wanted and helped us buy the perfect car. He helped us get a great price and we couldnt be happier!! Brought my car in due to grinding noise at front wheels. I had front rotators replaced 6 months ago which was a replacement to a bad set. They didn’t find anything wrong with them this time but charged me $75 to look at vehicle. Next time I’ll go to my local mechanic in lieu of dealer.
I took my vehicle in for service, most of the employees were not wearing masks or social distancing. They made no attempt to allow outside drop off or payment over phone. Avoid these people like the disease ridden plague rats they are.
I called and spoke with Greg Glockengieser. I explained my unique situation and he treated me as if I had A-1 credit. He and his team worked several days going back and forth with my financial institution, I felt that nothing good was going to come out of this situation. Greg called, and texted me keeping me in the loop. Day 5 he called me and said “Hey, are you worried?” I laughed and said a little bit. He then told me, not to....he’s currently working everything out, and to show up when I was off work. WELL I picked up my car. It was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had in my LIFE with an Auto Salesman!. Greg was AWESOME‼️

Absolute shyte service for someone who is looking to buy a $100k car. My sales man was Greg who replies with one word replies when asking him a question. We didnt get much information, he barely talked to us, lied and said the battery was disconnected from the car so we were unable to start it and then after about five minutes he ended up starting the car. The customer service was very poor and I would never spend my money where Im not made to feel comfortable or respected. Do not recommend this for serious car buyers. To all the trackhawk community, dont come here because they wont take you seriously.
Asked for photos of a vehicle, in the time span of a week in a half sent me 10+ emails not 1 with a single photo, then asked if I wanted to test drive the vehicle I was interested in, and when I complained about just wanting photos first they tell the car has already been sold. Thanks for wasting my time.

Well I dont think Ive ever had a more satisfactory experience with a auto repair place, especially a dealership, in my entire life. For those of you who drive Volvos you are aware that they can be a pain in the neck when something goes wrong with them. I towed my 06 V50 to the Maplewood Volvo and it was not in good shape it looked like it was going to be $500 or $600 just to diagnose the problem. The guys at the service center kept the car for an extra week or 2 but in doing so they found a window of time where they had nothing else going on and they could diagnose it and they charged me nothing! No labor hours at all to figure out what was wrong with it and then to fix it. All they charged me for was the key that I had i lost that I needed to get replaced. But they diagnosed and fixed the electrical issue for $0. So I highly highly highly recommend these guys if your volvo or any other car has any problems. Jeff the service manager was professional and polite and a joy to work with and I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. Definitely go to this dealership, buy a car, get one fixed, do something. I purchased a new XC60 here a few months ago, as I am walking around the car on the day I purchased I noticed a scratch on the door and showed the salesmen. He immediately waived me off and said that could be fixed no problem. Fast forward to now this particular salesman is no longer there, I mentioned this to another saleswoman and was told he would never say that, he is a personal friend and she knows he would never say that. Calling me a liar to my face in not so many words. I have never been treated with as much disrespect as I have in the past few months from this dealership after I purchased a new car from them. Do not fall for their tricks, they have a great sales team but once they get that commission you are no longer on their radar. Customer service means nothing to this group and I will never do business with this dealership ever again.

I went in with a very vague idea of what I was looking for. Saw a car, built one online then went to the dealer to check it out. I had a hard line for payment and Joe, Karl and Grant worked with me to get MUCH more vehicle than I expected while keeping my payment within budget. LOVE my new Volvo!

Positive: Friendly and professional team. Nice free loaner vehicle. Maintained the appropriate level of contact in reference to vehicle status updates. A military discount is offered.Areas for Improvement: This Volvo Dealership does the minimum. No car wash after the service was complete. When I asked about discounts, the rep suggested to look online. The discounts online are from 2017. The rep was not forthcoming with the information.They did not do a bad job, but they were not exceptional. Just right in the middle of my expectations of a Volvo Certified Dealer.

We were just looking, and told them so. Salesman was chill - not pushy, knowledgeable in terms of if didnt know the answer found the answer fairly quick. Was willing to grab as many cars as needed. Good experience all in all, jury still out if making a vehicle change.

Worst experience of my life. DO NOT GO HERE.I schedule an appointment at 10am for an oil change and for them to look at my key because my car was not locking. I live 2 1/2 hours away in Fayette, Mo. once I got there they told me I could wait in the waiting room till it was ready. Which was fine, I told them when I made the appointment 3 weeks ago I would just have to wait there. Around 1:30pm I finally got tired of waiting and walked back into the shop where they informed me they had not even started on my car.. 3 1/2 hours I’ve been there and they were not even started on it.. at that point I was getting a little upset but trying to stay calm. They offered to get me a car to use for the day from Enterprise. I took the car which cost me about $30 to cover if anything happened to that car. THEY DID NOT TEXT ME TILL 4:55pm with an update on my car... that is 7 HOURS of me waiting. At that point they closed in an hour and I did not have time to make it back to the shop before they closed.. I had to pay around $100 for a hotel room to stay overnight since I lived 2 1/2 hours away... so right now I’m out $130 over all for the rental car and hotel. (Not to mention I had to take about 3 hours off work due to not being able to make it back in time for work) I showed up this morning to pick up my car. THEY COULDNT FIND IT. They. Cold. Not. Find. My. Car. Turns out, they had my car under the wrong name and address. How does that happen???? I have never been to this place before so how did they get the info mixed up or wrong?? When I called to make the appointment, I gave MY INFO. I was/ still am furious at this point. The manager there only gave me about $100 off because they charged me for an hour service but it was only supposed to take 30 mins. (Not sure where he was getting those number from though because really, it took 7 freaking hours). I will keep pushing this up until I talk to someone who will do something about this. This should never have happened. There should of been communication from the get go that “hey, we may be busy that day. It may talk a full day. Might want to be prepared. I will gladly give my info to anyone who can reach out to me about thisUpdate* They went above and beyond to make this right with me. Jeff was able to explain everything to me that I had questions on. Him and the manager there were able to make my second experience simply amazing. Thank you all for going above and beyond for me.
Though I did not purchase my car from this dealership, I have used their service department. Their service department has always done a wonderful job!

Bought a Tahoe years ago.. they’re crooks plain and simple. Oh but you get a “lifetime of free car washes” of that makes you feel better. Ever since that truck I haven’t looked back. I hope they crumble like the crooks they are
