I needed some emergency work done on my car as it started smoking the other night. They picked up my car quickly and had it repaired the same day! As a single mom with no family to help me, I was so happy to not be without a car for too long. They were friendly and very honest. The repairs came in much cheaper than I expected. I will be back the next time I need car help!!

This business came very highly recommended, I really wanted to like them. I knew my motor mount needed to be replaced, but my car is getting older so I asked them to check if anything else was wrong before starting. They quoted me what seemed to be a great price for the motor mount. When I received the car back I had multiple lights on my dash that werent on before I brought the car in. When I told them this the receptionist claimed that those lights were all on when I brought it in. The TPMS light was literally the only one on when I came in. So, they took the car back in. Apparently there was a faulty wire... unusually bad timing for that wire to go faulty. They fixed that. I figured the car was good since they said there was nothing else wrong with it. The next day I got on the freeway and soon I started to feel like I was losing control of my car. Pulled over, took it to the nearest mechanic... the CV boot was busted, and had clearly been spitting out grease, and apparently it had been busted for a while. I do not feel like I got the most honest side of this business for whatever reason.I give them 2 stars for one reason; the mechanic showed me how to reset my TPMS light.

Its so nice to have a place tell you what you need vs what van wait. Then charge you an honest price.

I have heard good things about this place and they didnt fail me. Very upfront from beginning about what problems could happen. Repair went smooth and as promised and felt very comfortable in what they did. This was a second opinion turned out to be same as first but more trustworthy. So glad I came and will be back!!

Very happy with the service I received on my 1958 Chevy Apache truck. Wasnt able to find very many repair shops that wanted to work on older vehicles. I recommend Carvers Auto Repair. Nice people, very busy, was able to get in and out, and they do great service repairs.

Carver has been great for as long as I can remember. They are straight forward and honest. They are the best. Ive been going there for 10 years now and made the mistake of getting my car checked out at a different place because it was closer to home. What a bad idea. This other place told me I needed $1400 worth of work on an 07 corolla for a check engine light. I called Carver and they were skeptical about the diagnosis as it wasnt an issue typically seen with a corolla. Instantly took my car from the shop, paid 100 for the diagnosis and was on my way to Carver instead.Carver had informed me my car was misdiagnosed and it was a quick fix for 300. I should never have trusted any other place with my car. This place is honest and knows their stuff. They always have. Im kicking myself for trying a new place and thinking I would get the same service! Thank you Carver!

Often times women are treated less than stellar when dealing with cars/mechanics and I did not feel condescension or anything less than the respect I deserve/desire! I dont know much about cars. And its hard to trust what I need done in reality vs whats a made up problem. I always know when I take my vehicle to Carver that I wont be yanked around, Ill be given a fair estimate, and any repairs will be done right! I appreciate their straight forward way of talking to me about a problem and and willingness to go the extra mile to get me a good price in a reasonable time.

Options are not explained pretty well. I took my CRV for removing the dent from rear bumper, first time i got a quote of 800 $, it doesnt require painting work which they could hv honestly told ne ar the beginning. Second time i took it and said just remove the dent now i got quote for 200$.As a cosumer, i expect the repair cnter to be honest and explain different options upfront

I had work on a 2004 Nissan Altima for an oil leak. The work was performed with no quote prior to hearing the work was done. The lower oil pan was replaced and the initial charge on my bill was $150 for the part. This was twice the amount of a reputable use part I had priced prior to the work being performed and three times the charge of an after market part.

They are honest and take pride in their work. I recently took my Charger in to Tires Plus and they told me I needed to replace my rear left wheel bearing due to a slight squeaking noise for $250. I immediately came to Carver Car Care and they were skeptical and first verified the squealing noise and checked the bearings, brakes, and found the calipers were sticking. After cleaning them up they only charged $100 and the squealing is gone!

Terrible! Absolutely not! My girlfriend and her family had been taking their cars there for years and raved about the place. Recently she took her car in because it was overheating. Carver examined the vehicle and told her it needed a new head gasket ($2000). She was pretty upset and considering getting a new vehicle all together. She called and asked if there was anything they could do to patch it up to get her by. They said they could not, and that they only did quality work. I took the vehicle to an mechanic friend who checked it out and discovered the outside of the radiator was plugged with debris. He hosed off the radiator grill and cleaned it up. Three weeks later the temp gauge hasnt moved over half way.Wanting to make sure that this was the problem, we had the oil changed and sent in a sample to Blackstone who tested the oil and reported this: You mentioned a possible head gasket issue, but we didnt find anything that might show coolantcontamination in this sample -- which is a good thing. Aluminum and iron read high next to universalaverages, which show typical wear for a 5.7L Hemi after about 5,700 miles on the oil. Aluminum is frompistons and iron is from steel parts. Nothing here really sticks out as a developing issue, but well know moreas trends develop. The oil itself, was in good shape and free of harmful contamination. Low in-solubles showgood oil filtration. The TBN read 1.8 and 1.0 is low.Shame on Carver, trying to get $2000 for a new head gasket when there were no indications that this was the issue. These guys are a ripoff! steer clear!!

Well I just bought an 03 GMC Sierra this last January and in June I was in an accident and I brought it to the body shop, when I got it back omg it looked the complete same as when I bought the truck. Nice and clean and a great job.
