Careful getting out to the main road. There isnt a traffic light ahead because of the low traffic to get out, but the main road across from it can get busy. The book store is well conditioned and is an all-round great place to explore both fictional and non fictional books.Towards the middle of the store you can find customer service. Nearby they have a staff pick section if youre just getting started on the book scene. The store also has a best weekly store book sellers towards the front as soon as you walk it. In those rows of books they have a couple of books with note card annotations. Towards the back of the store they have a junior section. If youre ever unsure about anything ask the customer service rep in the center island. Theyre more than happy to help. Its your time to build up your coveted book shelf! Get to it!
Its clean and quiet. Staff is nice
One of the few bookstores that’s left. They have a great selection of books. My husband and I bought a few board games the other day. Books are a great gift for friends, family and children! It feels good to support a physical store instead of Amazon.
A large selection, well organized for each category. My experience was a little unique because while I attempted to surprise a patron with a book, the staff was unable to tell me they hadnt scanned the item before I left the store. Luckily, the staffs patience was overwhelming as we hunted down what I had given away before paying. Incredible experience, Ill go back once I stop laughing from embarrassment.
There is something about a great bookstore to find all your favorite new authors. Get the membership card to get discounts every time you shop.
Very helpful staff. Great variety of books. Top recommended books are all on tables so its quick and easy to grab.
Love the bargain section and I also get my journals there. Glad I have a membership with them.
What happen to chairs for the elderly with disabilities to seat in while their grand kids find books. one thing I remember when I brought my kids was them sitting on floor checking out which books they wanted.
Great selection, as always. Super nice and friendly staff.
Wish theyd bring back the Starbucks but otherwise the staff was super helpful!
Checked website three times on Saturday morning and at 2pm in the afternoon to see if they had a publication I wanted was available in store. Every time I checked this stores website said it was in stock. Drove to the store and found they did not have the particular magazine I wanted. A nice lady helped me check on the store computer and it said the magazine was not in store. NEVER GOING BACK TO BARNES AND NOBLE AGAIN TO BUY ANYTHING. Wasted a lot of time and gas to buy something their website said was there but it wasnt.
Nice ambience. Easily accessible. Great place for books !
Save yourself $10-20 per book and just buy it on Amazon. It’s insane they charge so much here I don’t know how they’re still in business. Nice location though.
Superb bookstore and location! Ron Douglas cookbooks are really copycat fluff-no photos to prove he created or can cook these recipes! Also, Ron Douglas demonstrates novice like online business ideas which lacks details. A true millionaire would not rely on his wifes income for 20 years. Also, where are the assets (Photography shop in Glen Cove-not a thriving business), testimonies of hundreds who gained wealth following Rons strategies, not a household name in 20 yrs, etc.?
Found the book but couldnt another book. Neat and clean. Organized
For my daughters birthday she wanted a book. It was for her sweet 16th🧁 so naturally I wanted to come through. The fact that it was a book of SELF CARE warmed my heart. I knew Barnes and Noble would have it. Popped in and. ZILCH😳🚫😔 at THAT location. She found it at another location. I called📞📞. They held it and my princess👸🏽👸🏽 got her book📖📖📖📘📗📘
Don’t listen to the negative comments cause I was in and out in 5 minutes 🙄🤚🏽
Peaceful and clean place. Helpful people and easy to find things.
Incredibly helpful staff, always more than willing to help find what I’m looking for. The books I’m looking for are always in stock and it is a pleasant environment to browse the latest titles.
One of the better B&N int the area
This a very nice store. The employees are friendly and helpful.
The Employees are always nice and helpful. If I need to go in and out, I ask and they know the exact place for each book. And the store is always clean and neat ..
Very small selection of Manga books which was what I was looking for. Also, regular priced? Most books their go from $10-$20. Employees help you find what you need and want! I did put 4 stars only cause their manga books are yes normally priced at (10) for most but some places are cheaper.
Good product, got the Grimms fairy tales book, and some graduation gifts.
Glad to still have a Barnes and Noble in the area. We all need a book store to browse books and magazines.
Great location, I mean I have never been on a bad location. People is always nice and place is clean and well kept! Found what I was looking for!!
Its my happy place and people who work there are book lovers who are knowledgeable and even make recommendations. Adel was a big help today especially being my first time back since this pandemic started. I came for 1 book and left with 3 Thank you.
Definitely forgot how much I love the bookstore. I havent been in one in years and going in this Barnes and Noble definitely broke back my love for all things books lol. Only issue was that the Moana book i chose for my daughter was broken and when going to look for another of the same kind i found that a few more were broken the same way.
Clean and staff was kind and helpful.
Love going to this bookstore. Very helpful associates.
This one is a little smaller than my old one. We were still able to find some good deals and with our rewards membership we got additional 10% off which came to $8 this go round. Loaded up on puzzle and activity books for my 5 year old. My poor 1 year old only made it out with one book. Quick and pleasant check out. Good atmosphere. They ask that you wear a madk and pretty much everyone was.
Nice book store. Shame the cafe was closed.
Excellent place to buy books and book accessories. Very clean and friendly, and welcoming, has what I need when I need it.
B&N is always great, but the atmosphere is certainly different because of Covid.
Eben though I got beeped on leaving due to something with my tablet. Lol. J volunteered for the entrance of my purse. These gals are very sweet and beautiful. My son lovea this location .
What can you say about a great bookstore. You get lost in all the amazing opportunities you have to read and explore. Add the fine customer service and little social distancing and you can get lost in the almost lost world of reading.
Best customer service Ive ever had from a Book 📖 Store!!! A special Thank you to Arlet 💥💥💥💥💥
Nice to still have a local bookstore to shop at. Im sad to see that they closed their CD/Movies section. Not sure if that is permanent.
So happy that my daughter enjoys bookstores!
The cafe is closed, but the atmosphere is still nice
Picked up a hard to find box set of books in store. Was very well kept and staff was very friendly. No Starbucks inside the store.
Really like this place but its very expensive though.Wish it wasnt like that need to be affordable but they got every kind of book you wanted and looking for. They shouldnt took Starbucks out of there because its a perfect match drank coffee and read books.
Very clean and open. Books are easy to get to. Very helpful staff.
I miss the adjacent Starbucks, and they have removed all seating to promote get-in-and-get-out pandemic social distancing. But the customer service continues to be superb and the selection is awesome.
Good to see people still purchasing book. Very helpful!
Very small and it always looks like theyre getting ready to close down. I love having a bookstore nearby, but this one is the K-Mart magazine rack of B&N locations unfortunately.
Very helpful staff !!
Got my book here today! Great store very clean
Great books, great prices
Grest place to get good reading books
Some of the staff members 2 months ago were rude and disrespectful. Not going back here till they fix their attitudes.
I like the customer service at this location. After finding the book that I needed, the receptionist was able to price match the book that I was purchasing even without my requesting. Definitely will be returning in the future!
Great atmosphere with a great choice of things to read as per usual.
Great book store with a lot to choose from. Also has great gifts.
So nice to return to a bookstore. Everyone was wearing masks. We felt safe and comfortable exploring the childrens section.
Best place for yearly planners. Theyre always on sale.
Glad they are still here. Bookstores are still needed.
Went for book, but left with a bunch of good records too.
Probably the best maintained bookstore in the state. Stock is plentiful and kept very orderly, and updated in a very timely fashion. (Other stores in the are, for example, are often days or weeks behind in magazine stock or other new releases outside of bestsellers.) Staff is friendly and helpful. The attached Starbucks is just as well maintained. This place is staffed by people who love books and take pride in their store being the best.
Average big box bookstore. Great staff though.
Great place to relax, great selection of books and magazines.Attached coffee shop is a treat!
Very helpful staff, quick and easy process during checkout.
Same book expectation. Nowhere to sit and park. Hopefully the chairs and tables come back at some point. Still no beverages / snacks are available per Covid.
The ladies at this location were amazing!
Staff was able to help me find what I need
Typical bookstore with some extremely helpful and nice people working inside.
Great place for last minute Christmas gifts.
Snooty employees, snooty prices
I couldnt find any conservative literature, news, commentary of any kind. Disappointing...I wont go back to this store; there are other book stores and/or venues to buy from.
The Starbucks is long closed. Muzak that should have died in the 90s and staff that appeared not to notice when customers came and went. I just had knee surgery and being on crutches, this is not the place to go. I usually love a heavy wooden door. Not today.
Was amazing as always ❤
Employees were very knowledgeable and friendly. Store was very clean and organized.
Employees very attentive and knowledgeable Found me what I wanted. Thank God and the 2nd Amendment for bookstores
Its wide variety of books and customer care
In the face of a pandemic, its somewhat refreshing to be able to peruse a bookstore.
Tons of books and a smaller selection of hobby goods. Has a connected Starbucks to complete the book lounge vibe. Great place to take kids too as it has a divided kids section filled with plenty of stuff for them. You should be able to find most of the books youre looking for here. Considering the downfall of most e-readers I think Ill continue to get physical books here.
The prices are a little high but the selection is good for a brick and mortar store. Its nice to be able to still browse through a bookstore. Word of caution, dont use the A word - Amazon. I couldnt find a book I was looking for and told my Mom that I could order it on Amazon. An associate appeared out of thin air with we could order that for you. 😊😊
The store had sanitizer at the door, it was very clean and organized.
Theyve always got a great selection of books. Theyre a bit more pricey than their competitor (Books A Million) but with several BAMs being closed down or bought out, B&Ns is the next best thing. With both books and coffee, you cant go wrong.
I love this place. Quiet and peaceful. Great place to relax, and get books. Bonus! Theres a Starbucks next door. Its connected by a door so you dont have to go outside in the heat to get the frap you need to enjoy your reading. Its just a great place to visit. They also dont just have books. They have bookmarks, Fiji water, super cute totes, chocolate, and a wonderful staff!
Its the last of the brick and mortar bookstores. Great for browsing or last minute gifts. Sometimes you just want to page through a book before you buy it. Good selection and friendly people to help. Plus Starbucks on site. We need to shop there once in awhile or it too will be gone like all the other bookstores. I like Amazon but they are getting too big for themselves
Love LOVE LOVE bookstores. Im happy that this one is still standing. Good selection, I wish they had a black history section. The area they have dedicated to African-American literature is rather small.
Great bookstore to come and peruse to discover books you may want. Can probably get them elsewhere less expensive but sometimes can find good deals in the markdowns. Also great childrens section with play table yo occupy them.
- This is a big store where you can most likely find all your book needs.- Theres a Starbucks attached/inside the store.- The store is clean and well kept.- The employees are helpful and friendly.
Nice place, Starbucks inside is closed
Great store to take kids
Love this place every time we go
The establishment is a lovely place. It is kept very clean and organized. There is a Starbucks attached with great service. The books are very pricy, but they always have been. Definitely a great book store any avid reader should check out!
I love Barnes and Noble, all of them! I recently heard that the Starbucks attached to it is going away, which is heartbreaking. Barnes and Noble is an experience for me and always includes getting coffee. Please, continue to give B&N your business and if we can express how much customers want them to have a cafe, maybe they will bring it back.
Every time I step into those front doors, my mood is instantly better. The quiet, calm aura of the bookstore wants me to stay for hours. If I had the chance, I would live here! They have a large variety of books which I have enjoyed, along with vinyl records and merchandise. The Starbucks next to the bookstore is always a nice place to go after you picked up a nice book, or if you wanted to catch up on some homework. Barnes and Noble is a great place, and I really hope more people see it the way I do.
I love going here.
The first Barnes & Noble and Starbucks I ever visited, as a teenager. I still think they have one of the best magazine sections of any Barnes & Noble in the South Ive ever seen. I love browsing through the literary, film and spirituality magazine sections especially.
Visited this location on 9/7/19. The two women at the register were so pleasant and amazing. I wish I remembered both their names. I think one was Samantha. They had an even about the history of Atlanta with cupcakes from Desilvas that were incredible. The people and things at this location for surpass my expectations every time I visit.
I dont go to Barnes and Noble for my own health because tbh I only pick up school books right before an exam and thats about the only reading I really do BUT I came here to buy my church friend a gift card because hes a big book worm. So the overall experience was decent. The lady was nice and Starbucks was right next door connected to the whole thing so thats pretty smart and convenient.
Nothing like a real book in your hand. Love passing the passion to granddaughters with a nice stop at Starbucks to boot!
There arent very many book stores left with online book sellers. I love my local Barnes & Noble! I go there every Wednesday. The employees are very nice and helpful.
