Longstanding comic shop that I have been visiting off and on for years. They stock all the new issues. Have an impressive backstock collection that is pretty well organized, and spans all comic publishers. Have a huge selection of trade paperbacks. Definitely worth a visit for your comic book needs.

For such a small place its packed. The selection is great and they have a bunch of games and graphics too. Im always happy when I go here.

Ownership is friendly and willing to help you find the 1-off crazy thing youre looking for. Always has good stock and helps get the covers I want.

Fantastic! Love this comic shop. Ive only been twice but that will change. HUGE selection and great, knowledgeable staff! If youre in the Marietta are its a must see! As a matter of fact even if youre not, go! Trust me when I tell you its worth the trip!

It should really just be called Great Escapes Comics.The game section is pretty small, but the store is packed with comics.The sign outside only says Comics, and is difficult to see from the road.

Small comic shop with friendly service. A great source of recent back-issues at cover price. Whenever Im missing the first few issues of a series Im interested in, I always check here. They usually have what Im looking for still in stock.

When I got back into comics a year ago after putting them away for many years I tried a few different local stores and Great Escape was the one that really made the best impression. They have a great selection of current issue comics and a huge selection of back issues as well. They offer a great subscription service so they will pull your books for you and have them waiting on you when you arrive. Friendly staff and a great owner. I highly recommend this store to anyone in the area.

If you dont find what you are looking for, they will assist you in locating it. Another benefit at this shop is if you start a monthly pull list for new books, youll receive a discount based on the number of books on your list each month.

Top notch selection of past and modern comic books. There is even a small selection of card and board games at reasonable prices for all to enjoy. I would definitely recommend stopping by for an experience.

I moved to Marietta from Athens last year and was worried there wouldnt be a proper comic book store around. I was so happy to find this place! Theyve got a great comic selection, helpful staff, a huge selection of trade paperbacks, boardgames, and current tabletop RPG books. I really like the shelving and layout of the new issues; theyre all alphabetized and neatly sorted so it makes it easy-mode to find what youre looking for.

The comic selection was okay. Its a small joint so itd be difficult to carry everything. They do try and dabble in gaming though they fall a little short, but thats not their focus. If you want current Magic boosters youll be fine. Unfortunately the service is terrible. Seriously, its bad. Generally its this one guy that has no answers, and acts bothered by even having to ring you up, much less come out from behind the counter or answer a question. I understand you might need the owner to answer certain questions, but if you get him to point and grunt without an eyeroll and five minute sigh when asking for ~blank~ comic, youve caught him on a good day. Maybe they cater to existing customers and could care less about new ones? They are extremely close to my house, but after a handful of visits, all the same, I will now go out of my way to avoid this uncomfortable place. Im sure if I was there when the owner was there, itd be a completely different vibe.

They have a great selection of comics here. They also have a nice selection of diamond select figures which are hard to find in a store!
