This was by FAR the best experience Ive EVER had getting emissions done. Not only do they have the best price around, I pulled up and someone walked right out and started the emissions test immediately. I was in and out in no more than 2 minutes!! Now $14 Emissions (consistent with sign/advertisement). However, be aware that staff would not wear mask for service when requested by potential customer. This should be a basic safety request/expectation as a staff member must enter a private vehicle for the service. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

A friend backed in to a fallen tree Saturday morning in her new car, which impacted the muffler and muffler pipe and the system had to reworked before driven. We reached out to the guys over at Canton Muffler and they said bring it over. We were addressed as soon as we drove on the property wanting to know how they could help. They pulled her car on the lift, inspected the problem, priced the repair, which was reasonable, and said theyd call us when complete. A couple hours later it was ready. We appreciate their customer service as well as quality of workmanship throughout our experience with you guys.

I reached out to Robert here at Canton Road Muffler and Automotive to see about getting some work done on my 2006 Ford E250 cargo van that had been sitting for nearly two years. I managed to get the van to them and expected that the repairs would need to be done in several phases as I could afford to get the work done. Robert was extremely understanding and was more than happy to work with me through the process of getting my van repaired. I let him know what I suspected needed to be done to the van and how much I had to work with and he dove into things checking the van from bumper to bumper and working out the first steps to get my van running reliably and road worthy. He also checked an item I thought the van needed repairs on, actually let me know that my van did not need the one set of repairs (ball joints) that I thought it needed, saving me hundreds of dollars on an unnecessary repair. All that is left is a brake job due to calipers trying to seize up and my van will be back to reliable and all of that achieved for over a thousand dollars less than what I expected the repairs to cost. Robert and the crew at Canton Road Muffler and Automotive have proven to me to be great mechanics with an honesty and integrity that is truly refreshing. I am looking forward to getting them to do my brakes next week and make some repairs to my wifes car the following week. Thanks guys, youve got my business for good!

Approached Robert Bishop while he was mid job to just ask a question. He stopped what he was doing and not only gave me his undivided attention but fixed my A/C at no charge. Great service, I was in and out. Great prices as well, they have my business as long as I live in Atlanta.UPDATE: If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Called at 8AM the day before Thanksgiving in desperate need of an oil change. Robert made the time to get me in so I could travel for the holidays and make it to work on time. In a timely fashion he changed my oil, checked the filter, checked the tire pressure, replaced my fluids, AND without asking fixed my bumper that had been giving me issues for over a year! No extra charge. Genuinely kind, honest, hard working people. I have three roomates, who I will push to use Roberts services. Thank you again for everything!

I have been using these guys for many, many years for emission testing and never thought about trying them for anything else (I really did not realize what work they do). After taking my 91 Voltswagon Jetta to two other mechanics in the area I decided to look up muffler mechanics near me. The work I needed done was with the muffler and these other two guys could not fix my problem. I was shocked to see my emission friend as someone who might be able to help. Ricky was awesome and jumped right into my car, pulled it into the bay and began work. Even though it seemed they had many jobs to do, Ricky had me repaired and ready to go within hours. My Jetta runs quieter than it has in years and I am happy to have found a mechanic I can trust in the area. Use these guys for emissions but know they can do so much more for you.

I cannot state how great of a mechanic Robert is. I have tried many in the area and I will be going nowhere else. Robert is a super honest mechanic never overcharges and goes far out of his way to make sure his customers keep coming back. The quality of his work is immaculate.

I have had my share of car trouble over the years and have been to several shops and they weren’t great. I am so glad I have found Robert! Not only does he have great customer service but he gets the job done. He gets everything done in a timely manner. I know when I give him my car to fix it’s in good hands. Ive been going to this establishment for a few years now every January and I have to admit, I cant speak on the mechanic side of the business, but theyve always done a pretty good job getting me in and out for my Emission test without any issues. The older gentleman with the beard was always the one performing the service during my visits and I must say hes not very social to the point of unfriendly all though hes never disrespected me. I just get the feeling that he is not a people person. His job is just to perform a service and get folks on their way so overall, I do recommend this place if you need a quick emission test at a reasonable price.

I take all my automobiles to Canton Muffler to get them repaired. The prices are always fair and the work is done in a timely manner. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else.

My car was overheating. Robert found that the issue was a broken plastic fitting and replaced it for $150. The next day my car is getting really warm but not overheating. I had to add near a full gallon of antifreeze and bleed the system again to get it to run at the right temp. Also, the exhaust tech here could not be less interested in doing anything out of the norm(ie custom exhaust). I def felt the “leave me alone” vibe w him. They get two stars only because Robert is customer friendly and did get my car in same day.

I own and operate a specialty automotive shop around the corner from Canton Rd Muffler. We dont do general repair or exhaust work. Subsequently I have had to frequent need to refer customers to someone that does emissions and exhaust work and well as some general services. Robert hands down is HONEST, PROFESSIONAL and easy to do business with. I have taken several of my personal vehicles and referred several people to him and have heard nothing but positive things in return. Quality service and good prices.

Stop by to get a quote to install a performance exhaust system on my vehicle. had to wait 10 min before i was spoken to even though i was the only one at the shop. The mechanic that i finally spoke to seemed disinterested in the job and promise me that the exhaust system would not fit my vehicle. which was false since it was a used system and i witnessed it being taken off a vehicle as mine. poor customer service. needless to say i took my car and exhaust system to another shop and had it install in under 2 hrs with no problem.

Way over price for service. Got a small piece of my exhaust pipe replaced and was charged 150. That job cost nowhere near that much, and the young fella that works there is a fast talker that comes off cocky. Needs better Customer service

I called a few dealerships and of course the prices were outrageous because the job called for 5+ hours of labor. Well I called Robert, he was able to fit me right in, got my car fixed before the time he said he would, at a price I could afford and its running great! I called around to numerous places getting quotes, I got the best quote by far from here. The service was fast and great and once I returned to pick up my vehicle to my surprise the amount due was even less than the quote! $13 emissions testing, done in under 5 minutes. I didnt catch the guys name, but he came across as a good ol southern gent. :) IMuch appreciated.

Went to this place in December, once they plugged in their machine, a check engine light popped up (that I have never had,) they cleared it and tried again, and the same happened. They cleared it and I did an entire driving cycle, no engine light. I come back and they plug it in, and it pops up again. They clear it and I tell them to try the machine inside, lo and behold, no engine light. They couldnt pass me because I had to have a driving cycle. I come back 2 weeks later and they plug it in, no engine light but my car isnt ready. He openly admitted it was their machines. So here I am, scrambling last minute. It doesnt help that this was my first emission, and the employees response was Dont worry, its a complicated process starting with me getting your number and taking you out on a date.

Reasonably priced, usually quick emissions inspections

They do not like to service foreign cars, and the old man with the beard will make that known too you very quickly if the job you are asking him to do requires much skill or effort, otherwise, great place to get you emissions done for $13.

Went in for the first time today to get a rattling resonator cut off my HKS Hi Power. The guys put the car up on a lift and went to work. Took about 10 minutes and they used a good quality pipe (Ive had shops put cheap steel that rusts gast before). Solid welds and a price that was far better than most shops

Quoted $1100 dollars for a bad catalytic converter. Friend replaced 2 ignition coils and spark plugs. $200. Said the converter looks new. Dont take your vehicle to this place. Theyll rip you off horribly. Beware.

I called for a quote on a replacement for my rear wheel bearing and they quoted me 420! First off my part for the hun and bearing can be purchased for 50 to 100 and the service takes maybe an hr but no than that so Im just trying to understand how exactlt does that equal 420 smh women beware of this place!

Our car was overheating, we had no idea what to do. Robert filled out coolant with water and told us to come back and drop off the car so he could find the leak for us. Didnt charge us at all

Fixed all the exhaust leaks on my old 76 chevy, still to this day there are no exhaust leaks. They did a good job putting mufflers on my friends sc400 too.

I have taken both of my hondas here for emission test, they are the cheapest price around me, $13 cant go wrong, very nice ppl.

This shop made up fake error codes and said my car was leaking and it wasn’t. Do not trust this shop.

Go to get a quote on an getting a muffler welded on, talked to the exhaust tech and he takes one look under my car and said nah I wouldnt be interested in doing that. No quote or reason. Must have caught him on the wrong day. Whatever still does cheap emissions
