I found me another Chrysler Town and Country white 2015 an I Love it!!!!
LEMON DEALERSHIP. I purchased a Nissan Rogue from here approaching 2 years ago now. The car fax they provided me wasn’t from “carfax.com” but they assured me that it was the same thing. After leaving the dealership I immediately started having some minor issues, but I assumed it was just the age of the vehicle and normal wear and tear. After approaching 2 years of ownership I have been hit with approaching 5,000 in repair costs. I am now having to sell the vehicle just to get out from underneath it. BUYER BEWARE! How I wish there were lemon laws in Georgia, absolutely ridiculous.
Sold me a Chevy spark year 2014 for 4k4 thousand dollars later find out the vehicle has no spare tire and no jack ..call the ownerAnd he laughed like Im a comedianWho looks for a jack in a car they just paid. 4 thousand dollars for ...at that price youd think it would have a jack and spare tire ....Long story short never do businesses here /crooked people
I waited 3 months before leaving a review and the car has been great and has given me 0 problems. They are pretty straightforward with everything and they will also let you take the car to a nearby mechanic for a pre purchase inspection because the cars are all sold (As Is). The have pretty good prices on the other cars I saw. I’m really happy with my purchase and will be coming back when my son turns 16. Josi helped us and she was really helpful and answered all our questions.
I have had my car for about 5-6 years grom Cortex it was a little high..but i love my csr..its literally been holding me down
Very friendly good customer service.
Dont buy a car from this place. They sell lemons & temporary fix for sale. I was sold with a bad trans for 3500. It was ok until 1 month after. Dont take it for repair they wont fix it & the mechanic WILL lie to you telling you is a minor fix when its not. Was still charged 550 for what? I never gave anything. Their work is garbage. This business should be closed.
The cars was nice as far as body but the motor parts needed work but the staff was pleasant
My brother bought a Mazda CX-7 from here two weeks ago and the check engine came on the first week after having the car and we found out that he needed ignition coils. Then 2 days ago the car broke down and started smoking on 285. There was a huge oil leak and we haven’t even found out what that problem could be. They dress the cars up nice but spending almost $5000 the car shouldn’t be in the shop 2 weeks later. Spend your money somewhere else with people that are more honest and provides good customer service. Apparently they sell a lot of lemons and unfortunately we didn’t check the reviews before hand....
Do not buy from Cortez Auto Sale, their cars are faulty, you won’t notice till after a week or two. I bought a car from them, and in one week the breaks are falling out the bottom, the engines making load strange noises, the passenger door stops working from the outside, the flooring of the trunk fell out and was sitting on the spare tire at the back, anti-freeze gone, so many problems with the car.. leaving me in total regret, and failed to help or do anything about it. 👎👎👎
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! They sold me a car with a bad transmission. It was already bad in the first place and when I went back to fix it, they said nothing was wrong with it. They changed the check engine soon light to not come on when i purchased it. Want to know how I know how they changed it? They have mechanics in the back to do so. and not tell you entirely what is wrong to fix it. It came on a month after I was driving it. It kept coming on and off and I finally took it to a another mechanic and guess what they said? the transmission was already going bad. I bought this car in January 2020, it is now December 2020. The type of car that they sold me should have last me at least 3-5 years, even with the milage it had. I called them back to say this information and Josie Cortez (I am paraphrasing what she said) Nissans usally have bad transmissions over time and as it gets older so WHY STILL SELL THE CAR TO SOMEONE IF IT IS BAD OR GETS BAD WITH THE MILAGE IT HAS?!?! i asked her for her name and she asked me why? i told her because I can and because you guys are a business I have a right to know your name and who sold me a bad car.. she said well it is a family business.. you can clearly see their intentions and what their motives are. Please guys if you want to buy a car here DONT or at least bring a specilzed mechanic that will run thier own test because they have their own mechanics that will run their own test and tell you lies. I will be reporting to the BBB. They need to have all of thier cars checked out ASAP or they need to go out of business.
This place is cash only, no financing unless you bring your own. You should also bring your own mechanic. The cars are sold as is, no fixing little things around the vehicle. We found a car in our price range. In good shape for under $5000. Talk to Jossy Cortez. She is nice and will work with you. Dont expect perfection and you could find a hidden gem.
I love this place! Its AMAZING - literally speechless🤪
I bought a vehicle from Cortez auto & Omar was my sales guy. I found this dealership exceptionally honest & committed to a very good customer experience. I will happily return to Cortez auto for my next car purchase. I am very pleased with the quality & value of the vehicle I purchased. I would feel good sending friends & Family to this dealership.
I was so excited to buy my 2012 Chevrolet equinox, it drove great for maybe a few days then when I got oil change, I found out I had oil leak plus my engine light came on. I had it checked by a few mechanics that told me basically my engine was shot. I thought I was getting a deal but found out I was sold a lemon. I dont recommend u buy a car from them unless u plan on spending thousands of dollars on repairs. Im sorry I will never buy another car from them. They lied about my car not being in any accidents cause we got the information from a dealership that looked our car up. Im very disappointed in the guy that sold us the car he really scammed us good. We were going down a mountain and our car stalled so we coasted most of the way down. I was so scared and our car had no oil in it when we bought it. We had no idea this guy knew something was wrong with it. We should have had someone check it out first before taking it. We will never be tricked again.
Nice family business!Went to go check out a car I saw online and the car was the same as the pictures and was super clean, which I was very happy about.I wasnt able to buy because they are a cash only lot and they dont finance.Their customer service was excellent, Josi was super attentive and professional. When I save up Im most definitely coming back to Cortez Auto.
My is buying a car here we were just passing by and stop and good think caused he seen something he liked so he got it nice like most of them the people who work there were very helpful for right now Ill give them a good rating
They sale lemons .They use mechanics in the back to put band aids on problem .They reset check engine lights .Worst place ever .I reccomend you dont buy a vehicle from these crooks
They have great cars. Good prices, but they dont finance. But I would definitely shop with them if I had thee entire amount.
DONT BUY HEREWOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF POSSIBLEHad a minor fix of a “broken CV joint” less than a month after getting this car for $5,000. They charged me about $150 to fix the problem. (Which they barely fixed) inexperienced mechanics. Shiesty shady people. Now 2 months after having it I need a $700 repair! DONT BUY HERE PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!
Owner has a bad attitude... Showed up to test drive at 5:15, they close at 6, I wanted to take a 10-15 minute test drive... I had cash and was ready to purchase and he said I couldn’t do that cause he was about to leave... it was 5:20... his customer service SUCKS!
Deceitful advertising. No came outside to greet me.
Buyer beware! I asked the proprietor if I could take a car that I like to my mechanic to have him check it out. He replied no the mechanic would have to go there. Thats a big problem! Ive been asked if I could see a Carfax report on the car that I liked and he replied with a resounding no. They are hiding something all these cars are junk.
Recently bought a car there. Brought it home and the lights didnt work. They did replace the switch and resolved that issue; however, the battery died a few days later. We replaced the battery--these things happen. Drove the car home and now it wont start. The salesperson assured us that the car really did only have 70,000 miles on it but it acts like a car with twice the mileage . In fact, my van with twice the mileage hasnt been this much trouble. I am beginning to wonder if the odometer was turned back... I know you get what you pay for but the whole point of buying a car is to drive it on the road. I will never buy from them again.p.s. they charge the batteries on old cars before you test drive them. A good battery doesnt just die because it hasnt been cranked in a few days--that isnt just because its an old car.
I saw a white Buick Rendezvous that looked great at a great price that I needed today. I saw that they closed at 6:00, but since my job wouldnt let me make it by then, they told me theyd stay until 7:00 if I couldnt make it by 6:00. I told them Id send a mechanic to check the car, and if they gave me the okay, Id head there and buy it. I did just that, and the mechanic said it was in good condition. Thats when I called the dealer and told them Id be there at 6:45. They then told me the latest theyd stay was 6:30. I reminded them what I was told earlier and that I needed the car today, and if I couldnt get it today, Id look elsewhere. They stuck to their guns. Well, they lost my business over 15 minutes and made me waste $50 over a useless inspection. Completely unprofessional!
Be sure to check the engines carefully. Cars can look new with rebuilt engines. They do a good job of presenting clean interiors, under the hood as well.
They are really good they put brakes rotors on my 2007 Ford focus only charged me 175.00 for parts and labor! I recommend them to anyone they are really good!
DONT GO THERE!!! My son purchased a Nissan Altima around 12/19/18. Salesman, Will, refused to let him take possession until he had the check in hand, from a local credit union. Then when he got the check, my son still couldnt pick up the car until 2 days later because the thermostat was being replaced, due to the vehicle running hot. While changing the thermostat, their mechanics broke the exhaust pipe near the catalytic converter causing the car to sound loud. Instead of repairing it, they tried to give it to us like that. Upon my request, their mechanics did a cement-looking patch on it instead of having it repaired at a muffler shop, as we were originally informed. Then one month later, my son had to have the thermostat replaced again, due to the vehicle running hot. On 2/25/19, my sons engine locked up due to vehicle constantly running hot. Mechanics tell us that the engines head gaskets had been worked on previously, but not done properly. He only got 2 months out of the vehicle. Not to mention that he still has a loan to pay monthly to the bank. I left Will a message almost 2 weeks ago but have yet to hear back from him. We have accepted that fact that we are stuck. This brings a whole new meaning to AS IS.
Went to look at a car they had advertised on-line. They gave me the keys, and I started it up. I sat there with the car in park for five minutes, and nothing but hot air.I took they keys out and handed it to the sales guy. He had the audacity to act surprised when I told him the A/C didnt work. Hes either shady AF or he does a really bad job prepping his cars. Do yourself a favor and drive right past this place.
Run for your life away from this place !!!!!!! Pos cars just dropped my car off at the mechanic shop. I have only had the car for about a week. $3000 for a new transmission and they have three other cars from Cortez auto sales all with big expensive issues as well. I can’t believe the people running this place can sleep at night knowing they are ripping off people for their hard earned money !!!
Wonderful place to shop for vehicles and great people that service you.
I bought a vehicle from here and enjoyed the experience. I got the vehicle I went there to buy with little miles and runs great! Chico is the man. He can sell ice to an Eskimo, lol. A family owned business n theyre all very nice!
I purchased a car from Cortez, had to talk to the lady (seller) myself.... begged her if something was wrong with the car....due to the reviews from other buyers .... she said nope! With confidence! I even told her, I saved up because am expecting my second child anytime soon. Immediately, I and my husband drove off... not up to an hour, we discovered the passenger door is not locked... we went back and it took them 1week to order for the whatever to fix the car door.... after then the second day, the car wouldnt start... we have to jump start the car....the battery was drain... we dont know what happened ... after an hour... my husband wanted to start the car... it was the same thing. I was crying like a baby... because I was in Labour at a time... and there was no car to take us... we have to call an Ambulance. I regretted purchasing car from them!
This car lot really know how to treat their customers. They will always go an extra step just to satisfy there customers. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good used car.
I feel like I’m being very generous with my 2 stars only because I didn’t actually buy from here. But I’ve come to tell you that the reviews are right! Bad service & shady business. I saw their listing online, came in to check out a couple cars with cash in hand ready to buy. The first person I talked to: Rude, very short with answers and told me that I couldn’t take the car to a mechanic to have it checked, which is unusual even for a small lot or private seller. So I came back with my mechanic and sure enough he told me NO WAY. So many unfixed issues that would be hard to notice to the un- trained eye. These cars look solid on the outside but that’s fools gold. I took my money else where and now I’m riding in a reliable car that I can feel good about with no stress
My second time buying from them. With the first car the check engine light came on and we took it to advance auto parts they said it was the O2 sensors. I thought okay easy fix and I had that car for two years. So I went back and got another car from them and it hasnt even been a week, as a matter of fact its has only been 4 days and the check engine light has come on which leads me to believe that they are having fake emissions done on the cars. I am so upset about this. My husband and I will be contacting them and if they dont try to resolve the issue then we will be contacting the news to expose them and we will be in touch with a lawyer. It says car is sold As Is but there is no possible way that they are getting legit emissions test done and the light comes on after driving 4 days later. For this to happen for the second time is not a coincidence. Not to mention my neighbor who also purchased a car two years ago from them had the same problem.
They are nice ppl but they sell semi-lemons. I feel like if u gon sell used cars to folks at least do diagnostics test on them n fix the major things on them prior . They said they test drive them prior . What good is that if u dont run the test on em . I know if they shopping for a car, they wouldnt want to buy a car n then keep having to be contacted by the customer within weeks bout it. WHEN U TREAT PPL RIGHT IT HELPS YO BUSINESS FLOURISH N U KEEP GETTING BLESSED...BUT WHEN PUTTING OUT LEMONS. .PPL GON PUT A BAD REVIEW/NAME OUT THERE. ..N U MAY JUST CRUMBLE LATER
Horrible service. We were given a final offer an a car. We walked out to our car, gathered our money, went back inside and they stated “the offer was not accepted”. It was an awful experience.
Beware. Beware. Beware. Not a reputable dealer.Hides issues, superficial cosmetic fixes.Avoid at all costs.I am so sorry I purchased here.A den of crooks with no integrity.
Im loving my Chevy SUV that I purchased on 2/2/18 the people were so nice I would suggest buying a vehicle from them to my family and friends
Went here with $5,000 cash in my pocket because I wanted to see a vehicle they had for sale. I really, really needed a car. Test drove it but it was a couple hundred over what I felt like it was worth, plus it smelled funny. Advertised as a non-smoker vehicle; but it was sitting there baking with all the windows up in the hot Georgia sun and when I opened the door it definitely smelled like an ashtray. Didnt really get much of a test-drive in because the fuel level was like, past E, and I was scared it was going to run out of gas before I even pulled out of the parking lot. They didnt really seem like they cared if I bought a car from them or not. When I said I didnt think it was worth it (it wasnt), said go check out other places if I want. So I did. Looked at their website later and realized they had a bunch of other vehicles in my price range they could have tried to sell me, but they didnt. Thats life. Meh. Now some other dealership has my $5,000. Que sera, sera. Might go back in the future but honestly I dont buy cars that often. Well see.
They where nice and we had a problem but they corrected it quickly and I would recommend them .
Really do not want to give them even 1 star. Headlight was out and they said it was just a bulb - turned out to be something more serious and a lot more costly. The bulb alone was over a $100 but Kia dealership told me it was a $1000 fix. So, got that fixed and less than 30 days and the check engine light is on with 2 very serious codes DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM CORTEZ!!!!!!
Will Cortez sold me a car with bad engine, check engine light on, cylinder misfire, leaking water pump, corrosion around engine severe. It ran hot second day of having it. Had it a week now, trying to return the car. Ill keep you all posted on my progress. Single Mom bought a car for my Son who just graduated high school. Im crying now.
I didnt even get to go there they lost my business already I just wanted to call them and see if the buick van was still there and he was rushing me then being disrespectful over the phone and keep saying come to my lot like in a nasty attitude way. And if i went down there and didnt have it. It wouldve been a waste of time and gas and i stay 2hrs away but they need to hire new people with better customer service
They have horrible etiquette and not only that quite disrespectful. They hurry people up to buy cars and if your a mechanic who knows your stuff and you check their cars and tell them something is wrong with the car they get defensive. They’re very impatient. I personally wouldn’t recommend going here.
I tried to purchase a used vehicle at this location. However, after noticing multiple issues with the car, I ran an obd2 scanner just to be sure. My suspicions about negligence to the car were confirmed, and when I notified them of these issues, they became very rude and defensive. I would advise anyone to be cautious before purchasing here. Always do your homework before buying a used car from places like this. Good luck!
It is a used car lot. Know what you are doing.
Had the vehicle I was looking for. The buying process was fast and easy. Very friendly staff.
Omar was a pleasure to deal with. They are very honest people, who does not take advantage of you.
Love these guys. Really good cars!
This is a great family business they try there best even with there bad English. There super honest as well
I bought a chevy aveo for my daughter...three days later the timing belt broke along with water pump...also needs radiator..sinking $1800 total..salesman appeared to be a good guy..take mechanic or take to a shop before purchasing
Very friendly and non hassle environment.
We have bought cars from them twice. Best place ever!!!
I am always looking for a deal, thats why I go by Corte Auto Store...
Do not visit. They will try a bate and switch on you. Went to look at red PT Cruiser $1675.00. I called to state I was on the way. When I got there from driving a long way he said he sold it by the time I got there. I called him a liar. He knew he did not have the car when I called. He tried to show me a gold PT Cruiser. It was nasty and dirty. Very untrustworthy. Dont waste your time. There is nothing like a liar for a salesman. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.This car is still on line. He does not have this car on the lot.
People are friendly but the construction makes it difficult to get in and out of
Good cars forsale
Nice family owned place
DONT BUY CARS FROM THIS PLACE THEY DO FAKE EMISSIONS THEY CARS ARE NO GOOD NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY I PROMISE NOW I HAVE TO PAY TO GET MY CAR FIXED
LIES LIES AND MORE LIES!!!! TOLD US THE CAR PASSED EMISSIONS. TOOK IT TO GET CHECKED AND IT FAILED IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!
They sold me an 05 impala with the heads blown
Do not purchase a car from here
Unprofessional and rude
Stay away
Shady
I went to this place diler of cars the car that I was looking for low in miles. I saw several cars. The prices there are depending on the car you are looking for in good condition, the engine and low in miles. You can come to this diler speak Spanish.
Good for me a good honest service and no hidden business I traveled 4 hours to buy a car and the treatment towards me was excellent I recommend it to anyone.
Reliable!
