Great company to work with. Very professional. Communication was great. Response time was fast. They installed hardwood floors & brick floors in our home. The floors turned out beautiful. It was an overall great experience and they got the job done in a very timely manner. Would definitely use them again.
Recently had LVP floors installed throughout my entire home and I am SO pleased with how it turned out. We had the entire home renovated and the flooring is by far the job I am most pleased with. The workers were prompt and efficient. The company was very easy to work with and the end product is just beautiful. I can’t thank them enough for all their hard work.
We have used this company twice. First when we finished out a new house, and then 5 years later when we decided to change a carpeted area to hardwoods; this was no small task as they had to lace in the hardwoods with the existing flooring. The result is seamless!!! You literally cannot tell where the old floors ended and new ones begin. The owner is incredibly professional and friendly, and everyone he sent to work on our home was exactly the same. This is what customer service and quality should look like!
We received excellent service from CFC, Ryan, our project manager, and his team. This was the first time our hardwood floors have been refinished in 21 years. We were completing a much larger renovation project, and Ryan had to coordinate with our contractor, which required a great deal of flexibility from CFC. Our floors look great and would highly recommend the CFC team.
Recently renovated my home and these guys refinished my hardwoods and re-tiled our master shower. It turned out GREAT!! They have a showroom in Marietta so that helped me with my decisions on what I wanted in my home. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do the same in their home! :)
CFC Floors did Coretec LVP for my entire house and I love it. They did a wonderful job. Hap and Javier and everyone in the entire process was excellent. Id highly recommend CFC Floor Covering. I couldnt be more pleased with the work they did. Thanks!
I had major problems with red oak flooring installed by Claud Fleming Carpet (CFC) in February 2011 and sanded, stained and finished in March of 2011. In the May time frame of that year I noticed the floors cupping (turning up on the edges of the boards). I attempted to get this resolved through CFC with no success. They did not acclimate wood in my home, as I found after the fact to be a requirement prior to laying hardwood floors. CFC contended throughout the process my house had a moisture issue that made the floors cup. The previous oak floors (that were torn out to lay new hardwoods) never cupped. I also had an environmental company to my home to check for moisture and humidity issues during the time frame CFC indicated I had a moisture issue, as well as other flooring companies and contractors. No sources of moisture were found. After about one year of going back and forth with CFC, CFC conceded to pay approximately half on a job to get the floors re-sanded, re-stained and refinished (stairs were to remain untouched and stain on floor was to match stain on stairs). The work was sub contracted out to someone both CFC and I agreed upon. Per the sub contractor, CFC provided sub with the stain color. Work was performed, but the stain applied did not match the stain on the stairs (drastic difference). There was either a mistake in CFCs records or the sub not getting the formula correct. I paid $10,148 for the initial install to CFC and an additional $2,170 to have them re-sanded, re-stained and refinished by the sub contractor. And as a result of floor color not matching stair color I hired another company, Quality Craftsmen, at an additional expense of $4,471 to re-do the same work. The floors turned out great with the help of Quality Craftsmen and I would definitely recommend them for hardwood flooring! If there are no issues, CFC may be an alright company to deal with. If there are issues (at least in hardwood flooring) you may get a hands off experience from Claud Fleming Carpet just as I did. In the end I was left to spend an additional $6641 for remediation.
Beware of this company. They put in new hardwood floors and sanded and re-stained adjoining floors to match. We had problem after problem with them, as well as their workers blatantly lying to us about work they said they performed, only to check and catch them in their lie. It has been around 9 months since work was completed, and I already have stain flaking off in spots. When they re-sanded my kitchen floors, they must have moved the sander at an angle instead of straight back and forth, and there are two areas where the grain is curvy. This was not there before. I pointed it out and they just shrugged their shoulders as if they were clueless. They also did not acclimate the wood to our home before installing, and they put the stain and first coat of poly down simulataneously. This is never to be done at the same time as it causes the color to lift, leaving splotches. I discussed this with my salesman when they first started, and he said they do it this way all the time, but good floor people do not do it this way. I am not having splotches.Do not mistake Claud Fleming Carpet with Fleming Carpets. They are brothers, but I believe Claud gets business because people think they are contacting the other company. They were recommended to me and I trusted that recommendation, but in my case, the work was either done by a new crew, or this crew was rushing through to complete the work at my house. In any case, I want to warn anyone reading this to look elsewhere. There are many companies that do this work well. This is not one of them.
