Prices are great! And delivery was super fast and they actually put it where i asked in the details section of the order! Hard to find companies that care these days but this was an exceptional experience! Will definitely use again!

I would give West Cobb Pine Straw 5 stars if it was just for the ease of ordering online and timely delivery of the pine straw! However I was about to give them 3 stars based on the recent quality of product that got delivered...I have been going with them for the last 13 years because of what I previously listed. However you never know what you are going to get dropped off on your driveway. (The positive is whatever you get will be neatly stacked right where you told them to put it). Many times the straw is just okay and then there are the moments when you have to decide which bale will go up front where it is the most visible and which one needs to hide in the back (full of sticks and straw). I went with long leaf this time thinking that the quality may be a bit better at $1 more/bale but nope... maybe next time? I suggest (and I havent done this yet) calling in advanced and asking how the product looks before ordering. Maybe there is a certain time of year that is better, idk? I do know (after watching a British car show) I kept saying this is rubbish as I installed about half of them. If the product was consistently good I would definitely say 5 stars all around but as far as what gets delivered on average, it is about 3.8. Then again - we are just talking about pine straw...

I initially had a miscommunication and scheduling error with this company. The owner called me from his vacation and worked with me to get my project done in a time-frame that was very helpful. What started out as a misunderstanding was made perfect by a great owner! Thanks a lot for all your help!

Fantastic experience with West Cobb. I needed 50 bales installed in a short amount of time and West Cobb was great. Erica was our rep that scheduled the install and she was extremely responsive to any questions and follow up. Juaquin was the guy that installed the pine straw. he is very experienced, friendly, and did an unbelievable job. he even rolled the edges. Will certainly use West Cobb in the future!

It took 17 days to deliver my order during which time they had my payment. They invite orders on their website in the full knowledge that they can’t deliver within a reasonable time, but they never disclose that to customers.The customer has a right to know that in order to make a decision whether they want to wait for delivery or to explore other options.Their policy has the smell of bait-and-switch. I have their sanitation service and I have no complaints about it, but their pine straw business leaves much to be desired especially in terms of full disclosure to the customer.

Pine straw contained a lot of grass material. Im concerned that the grass material is crab grass. Ive had issues in the past with crabgrass mixed with pinestraw, and the result is crabgrass sprouting up through the pine straw.....which defeats the purpose of putting down pine straw.The delivery driver drove over my wet grass and spun tires in the yard instead of having his passenger hop out to spot him while backing.Im less than thrilled with quality and service from this company.

Update: After two phone calls and posting my initial negative review, I was able to get my replacement delivery the same day. Have to say I was impressed with the quick response time once the owner/manager was aware of my issue. They also cleaned up and picked up the pine straw that was accidentally delivered to our neighbors.(*To answer question posted below by the owner, both times I called I was only ever able to speak to the woman who answered the phone. She was very nice, but both times when she said she would connect me to the manager I was told he was with another client and unavailable to speak to me.)Initial review: I have ordered pine straw from this company twice. The first time was seamless. The second time has been a disaster. Ordered online last Monday and by the following Friday the delivery had still not arrived. Called the office to follow up and it turns out they delivered our order to another house in our neighborhood even though our mailbox is very clearly marked with the street number. I was promised that a replacement order would be delivered to our house the next morning and that they would also resolve the issue of the the pine straw that had been incorrectly delivered to our neighbors. Well, here it is three days later, and none of this has been corrected. So, not only do I not have the pine straw that I ordered for my own yard, but our poor neighbors probably think someone pulled a prank on them by randomly dumping a bunch of pine straw in their front yard. Will update this review if/when I ever receive my order, but have begun looking for a new company to use going forward.

I purchased online and didn´t hear back, had to call several times to find out about my order. The delivery time of 15 days is not right. Communication about delivery was bad. I am not going to buy again.

Poor customer service. Employee did an “ excellent” job guiding me back. So good that my tailgate got pinched in the corner because someone doesn’t know how to use your eyes. Why would you tell me to keep combing back if I’m within 6 inches of the pine straw truck? You’re loading pine straw not a heavy item. Seems pretty lazy.

Ive been using West Cobb Pine Straw for the past few years. Ive never had an issue with them. Easy to order, up-front pricing, they dont charge ridiculous delivery fees like other companies, and their deliveries are almost always on-time (even during busy seasons). The quality of their straw is great, though Ive only ever ordered the long-cut so I cant speak about the short straw. There are some sticks and cones and some bales are a bit discolored, but thats just the nature of the product. Overall Ive been very pleased with them.

Called Friday 7/24 morning and left a voicemail as I had several questions after reviewing the website. The lady who called back (forget her name) wasnt helpful at all...as every question I had she simply directed me back to the website. I didnt appreciate the tone of her voice either. She has lost a potential customer.

This was my first time trying West Cobb Pine Straw. Ordering 20 bales online for delivery was quick and easy. Would have given 5 stars if delivery expectation had been met. The web site stated 5-7 days for delivery when I placed my order, but I received my order 16 days later. The product itself was good. Will order again.

I appreciate the owner taking responsibility and proactively working to resolve the matter. Will use again.Ordered online on 03/18/2019. Never received any type of notification regarding delivery schedule. On 03/22/2019 left message inquiring about delivery schedule assuming at latest, it would be delivered on the Saturday the 23rd. Sent email on 03/23/2019 regarding delivery and then sent email on 03/24/2019 requesting cancellation. After not receiving any response on 03/25/2019, I called to cancel order. Individual I spoke with was oblivious to prior communications and was disinterested as to why I was cancelling. Their online ordering system is nice, yet their follow-up, responsiveness and delivery system is dismal. Waiting for my refund.

Had 65 bales spread today. Followed instructions to a T and cleaned up exceptionally well. Great job.

Id purchased pine straw from West Cobb, in the past, and Id been happy with the quick delivery and service. The first time, I thought Id spread the straw myself. That was the first and last time that I said that Id do that. It was back breaking and I was not happy with the look. But, that was completely on me and not on the product.Fast forward a couple years, I ordered pine straw this past Saturday. By early morning, Id received a confirmation email that they would be out Wednesday in order to install. (Let me assure you, its worth every penny to have the professionals do the install.) Anyway, I was at work when they showed up to do the work. I was a little apprehensive that they may not do it to my liking or possibly cut corners. When we arrived home from work, we were wowed. Thats right, they did an absolutely fantastic job and really exceeded my expectations. There was truly nothing more that I could have asked for. They went above and beyond what I wanted and the install has our yard looking like the best design in the neighborhood. (No exaggeration!)So yes ... I recommend West Cobb Pine Straw ... Yes... I recommend paying the extra to have it spread. I dont think youll be disappointed.

First time ordering and I was very unhappy with quality of pine straw. Full of big sticks. Plus is that ordering is easy and delivery fee reasonable. Just be prepared to wait for delivery. Website quoted 5-7 days. I ordered on a Monday evening and got it the following Wednesday.

Pine straw was full of sticks, dirt and pine cones and I never could get a phone callback to resolve the matter. Currently looking for a new company for straw. Trash service has been great with them but definitely can’t recommend the straw.

Supprised to see how much dirt, mold, sticks and jumbo pine cones was in the long needle bails. They get a premium charge for this type. The quality should be better.

They did a fabulous job putting out the pine straw and the price was very fair. For years we’ve been having it delivered, and putting it out ourselves. Glad we had them do it this time! Even though we have a yard service, we always do our pine straw through them & their prices are great.

I use them for their garbage and recycling service. They are the best in the area (I had previously used American and Freedom). They are generally on time and responsive to phone calls. Great group.

I had a few issues at first. The owner called me and we spoke for a few minutes. He went above and beyond to resolve the issues and expedited a speedy delivery. I will order from them again.

Every Spring I look forward to the azaleas blooming, The Masters on tv and the West Cobb pine straw truck delivering my fresh bails of straw. It always looks great and these guys have been a great to work with. Last year they spread it for me, and after seeing how professional that looked, there is no way Ill ever spread it myself again. Just an all around terrible experience. Ordered pine straw Saturday (3/16) and was promised 1-4 day delivery, which did not come close to happening. Called the company and was told this is their busy season and that the website was updated to 3-5 days. Not a very good tactic to change the est. delivery time AFTER the customer places an order. Not only that, when I called today I was told my pine straw wouldnt be delivered until Monday (3/25), which is 9 days after I purchased. Just plain unacceptable! Cancelled the order.

Ordered online, received next day ( was expecting to have to wait a few days), great pine straw, better quality than what I had got at big box stores in the past, I had 20 bales, noticed no sticks, cones, or dirt. Wish I had known about them sooner (no more borrowing a pick truck and making multiple trips for me), will use again when needed.

Ordered 23 bales of standard pine straw online and they were delivered the next day. Im happy with the service & the pine straw quality is just fine. It is similar to what my builder had put so yes it includes some sticks and stuff but I didnt go for the premium long needle so Im not surprised.I will buy from them again!

I ordered by phone yesterday, was promised today delivery, and they arent delivering it today. Bad business!!!! I even questioned the guy that he could get a delivery that quickly for a 100 bales. He said it was no problem. Terrible way to run your business.

Got 10 Bails of long needle and every one of them had way too many large pine sticks embedded in them. West Cobb used to have much better straw.I got some slash needles to go in a less seen back yard and it fell apart like it was already two years old!

We have used West Cobb pine straw for over five years. They have a attention to detail, if a piece of trash comes out of the trash can, they take the time to put it back, Great people and wonderful customer service. I highly recommend them for not only the trash service but the pine straw.

Quality of the pine straw is amazing, minimal sticks, pinecones or misc. debris. Ive bought from Home Depot for years and the pine straw from West Cobb Pine Straw far surpasses the quality of HD. Im still young and able, so I spread my own pine straw and I cant comment on their spread service.Very impressed with the easy use of the website and the ordering process and LOVE that its delivered to my door step. Confirmation and communication via email after ordering gave me a timeline of expected delivery, all guesswork eliminated.I will use this company in the years ahead.

My experiences with West Cobb Pine Needles were less than good. I have used them for the past 5 plus years with no problem. In October of 2016 I called them and ordered 12 bales of Pine Needles. Two days later they delivered the needles. They looked worse than the needles that were in the beds. I called them to let them know and they offered to replace them, which I was happy with...2 days went by and the truck pulled up and once again delivered needles that looked exactly the same, of course I was not happy but grinned and barred it. I spoke with a Neighbor who had used them as well and I decided to give them another chance....much to my regret I received my needles today 1/17/2017 and once again they look like the needles in my beds that are faded..NEVER AGAIN....!!!!!..I will go to Home Depot or Lowes and Pick them up myself after I inspect them....

I have been receiving pine straw from WCPS for years without a problem. This morning I started laying out my latest delivery and the quality of the straw is horrible. I am spending more time removing cones and sticks than spreading straw. The worst part is when I called to discuss the quality, the representative got defensive and implied it was my fault for ordering late in the season. Really? You do not reduce your prices later in the season. Terrible customer service and Never Again will I use this company. I need another 100 bales and will now begin searching other suppliers.

We received 35 bales of pine straw this past weekend and it was horrible. The bales were tiny and full of sticks and pine combs. I had to go buy another 18 bales from Ace Hardware to finish the job. Then, talking to a neighbor later, they mentioned they had the same problem years ago and wont use them again. BEWARE!
