Responsive, arrived early, good quality work, fair price. We had 80 bales installed.

After ordering pine straw from our landscaper on 4/5 and it was still not installed in June, I called red pine straw on Thursday and they were here to install on Tuesday. One guy killed it with 65 bales. Looks good and and I’m very happy.

I Called West Cobb pinestraw, got confirmation that the pinestraw will be at my house September 8, 2021 at 12noon, they didnt show up, I called at 1pm and asked what happened to the delivery of my pinestraw, the customer service guy called the the driver and asked him whats going on,, he said the driver ran into a larger lawn that caused him to run behind and I said thats OK, give me a time that he will be to my house, he said he will be at my house in 30 minutes, I called at 1pm and the driver should be at my house around 1:35pm, so at 1:35pm the driver didnt show so I waited 45 minutes to call back and the customer service guy said Im gonna have my manager call the driver and the manager called me back and said the driver is 7 minutes away and I told him, you said 30 minutes before and it turned into 45 minutes now you said 7 minutes so it will be another 30 minutes, I dont have time now because I have to pick my daughter up from school, I told him to cancel that order, and I called Red Pinestraw in Marietta and they got the job done immediately...I recommend Red Pinestraw of Marietta....

Texted the # for 100 bales listed on their website and received a confirmation with delivery/install time frame for the next day. Non one showed up at all. Didnt receive a text or call alerting me of any delays or issues. I reached out to find out if they were still planning to come and no reply. Just completely ghosted. Would not recommend.

It was a pleasure to have Red pinestraw our yard this week. A company that looks out for its customers first will always have my business. My yard has never looked so good. Priced right and great service. The crew took great pride in their work and made sure I was satisfied.

This is our second time to use Red. First time very good all around. Then, this year, First booked over a month ago. Had to change date because we couldn’t get our bushes trimmed in time before straw arrived. Moved delivery out a week and they showed up on the original date instead because rep failed to cancel that date. Then, the following week, we waited all day for rescheduled delivery. I texted about 1:30 to make sure coming and was told running behind, be there about 3:00. Well, 3:40 came and nothing. At 3:45 I get a text stating they would not be coming because they ran out of straw and would come following Friday. We called and asked how they could run out of straw when they knew what each customer on that truck had ordered. Could not give us a true answer, just ran out. They either had to use our bales to finish other customers who needed more because bales have shrunk, or it was late Friday afternoon and they didn’t want to bother so late. Said it would be following Friday before they would be in this area again even though we felt they should come here Saturday or Monday at latest since their fault. Said other customers already scheduled. When they showed today, the bales were smaller, but clean and pricing higher than last year and we ended up needing 10 more bales because of this. Plus, their pricing had gone up from when I had originally booked and they didn’t inform us. I advised I would only pay the original stated $6.25 bale, not $6.50. She told me that was not acceptable. As I walked around to look at the finished product, I was flabbergasted at how terrible the finish was. Straw all over bushes around area, monkey grass covered up rather than neatly finished to see, and the tufted finish you are supposed to get wasn’t there, just huge mounds of straw. I told young man unacceptable as they did great job last time and this was horrible. He stated they aren’t supposed to landscape the yard, just put it down. I came in, wrote check for original $6.25 a bale and original 70 bales I ordered and handed to driver. He drove off and came back a few minutes later because he saw it was not for what manager told him I was to pay. He called her on phone and I told her about had bad the install/finish was and she then reluctantly agreed to let me pay the $6.25 ea, plus same for the extra 10 bales. I then had to go around and redo the pine straw for over an hour. I would not recommend them at all!

On Tuesday 4/27, I have an appointment between 2-3, take off from work to be here for the appointment, no show, I call at 3 and am told the crew is just a few minutes away, call again at 3:30 and told the crew had a problem but will be here within an hour. I call back at 4:30, they aren’t coming.....So I reschedule for 4/30 Friday, 2-3, again no call/no show. I call at 3:15 and told that I don’t have an appointment. UNBELIEVABLE! And that the next available appointment is 2 months from now after missing my appointment twice in the same week. And they don’t care. 1 star but it’s really a 0. Really bad business. But, these CS girls do not care.

We hired Redpinestraw to cover our condominium property (162 units) and found them to be a professional company with excellent service and high quality work! We are very pleased with our experience and price. They are reliable and were quick to respond to our calls and messages. We will definitely use them again and would absolutely refer them to anyone needing pine straw!It’s what they do!

The crew arrived on time and worked HARD all day, then came back early the next day and finished the big job. They were very organized from beginning to end, when they blew and edged the borders throughout our community. This is the best company we’ve ever hired for installing pine straw!

Called Friday, installed 100 bales by the following Tuesday. Easy, good customer service, quick, and best price I could find in the area, by far, for the quality. What else do you want? Great job, will be back.

This company is top notch. We needed 165 bales installed. I left a message for them to call me back, they did within an hour. Then they scheduled me for the next day, I received a text confirmation of when they would be there. 3 men showed up with pine straw that was very good quality. They laid that straw within 2 hours and we dont have an easy yard. I was so impressed with these guys. I had just had surgery on my foot so I wasnt able to walk very well. They did the install exactly as I wanted. Not only that but they dont cheat you out of the number of bales they are installing. I look forward to using you guys every year!

The worst company ever to deal with. They were a no show twice. No call no notice. When they finally did come the pine straw was the worst I have ever seen. Bad business in every way. Worst customer service ever.

Very disappointed in the quality of the pine straw and the size of the bales. These are the smallest and lightest bales of straw I have ever seen. Very Brown and Dry. I realize its later in the year (April) and I wont get red straw but this is definitely bottom of the barrel stuff. 110 bales didnt cover what I have put down myself for years before with less than 100, and I put mine down thicker even. Wont use them again.

The service here is marvelous, I loved the quality of the work. When I call with any questions they assist me very properly. The ladies who assist me are very kind. I will definitely recommend and use you guys again!

UPDATE: Red came back out and installed additional straw for me. They were very polite, understood my disappointment with initial install and left me a very happy customer! THANK YOU!!!!Ordered and paid for 70 bales of long needle, 20 bales be installed in my backyard along my fence line. At best, there are 6 to 7 bales spread thinly my backyard. I called multiple times and tried to make arrangements to have someone from red to come out and look at it and verify the installation and they refused. They also refused to bring any more straw to my home.

The young man that came out by himself to do my pine straw was rude and complaining. When I questioned him about why he only put out 30 bales in an area that I had asked for 55 bales, he became belligerent. I’m sure I was cheated. Previously I had ordered from red pine straw and had good service. I will not use them again. Pine straw was delivered and spread 4/25/2019. He arrived at 2:00pm.

Company cancelled on me today at the last minute. I drove 32 miles to be at the house for my pinestraw. Very suspicious as their Sales agent called me mid week and asked me to reschedule from Saturday to another day. I told them I could not. Sounds like they cancelled my small job to take a larger job. Not a great way to run a business.

Worst pine straw installation experience I have ever had. Beware.
