Wendell has been taking great care of my guitars since he was the guy at the Sam Ash down the road from his current shop. He’s fair, honest, expert and affordable. Always looks for the right solution for the customer, not to jack up the price for something you don’t need. He recently managed to repair the broken-off headstock on my student’s guitar! He also offers music lessons, and has a small but nice selection of gear for sale. Great business!

I live in Marietta, OH but have know Wendell since we were kids. He was always a guitar tech guru and even customized by first guitar I bought from him in the early 1980s when he was only a teenager. He has always been my go to when it comes to musical equipment advice. He recently found a beautiful Gibson Les Paul for me (my bucket list guitar) and advised, assisted and shipped me a pedal board amp which I was a little apprehensive of but trusted his judgement and he was right, it RAWKS! He recently set my Les Paul up for me, changed the strings and added strap locks on a recent trip home. Put your trust in him and he wont let you down!!!

Ive been playing for a few years but lacked the expertise to get the most out of my guitars specs. Moved back to Atlanta a few years ago and needed someone I could trust to work on my guitars. Heard he was “the guy” to go to by all of my musician friends. Took him my Jem to work on that I’ve only let one other person work on. Now Wendell is the only one I trust to work on my guitars. I honestly can’t say enough about Wendell. You’ve got guitar repair guys and then you’ve got dedicated luthiers who are part-scientist, part-engineer, part-artist, and all-awesome - that’s Wendell.I engaged Wendell to install a Floyd Rose FRX on my Jackson and after a couple of weeks he called me to tell me that the FR was defective. We worked with Floyd Rose, got the run around, they sent the wrong part, then the wrong replacement bridge, and then finally Wendell worked his magic and repaired the original FR and installed it.This whole process took a few months, but not because of Wendell. Wendell was patient, diligent, and perfectionist. When I picked up the guitar he showed me how it worked, how to adjust it, little tricks on how it works, and then had me play it to make sure I was happy.At no point did he rush or tell me that things were “supposed” to be a certain way. He made sure I was completely satisfied before I left.This was not an expensive job, but Wendell spend a considerable amount of time and effort on this and for that he has a customer for life.

Visited the store today just to get Wendells blessings on a used Godin ACS I am contemplating. He said it is a great instrument and certainly worth the money the owners are charging for the the guitar. Otherwise, the tidy shop has huge potential. Looks like he is just getting started with consignment rigs which I am sure he has approved. I tried a few and was seriously tempted to buy a guitar refurbished by Wendall. Wendell can custom build guitars and do Custom Mods. He has a unique ear for tone and is an expert at it. Does Setups and more. I am not going to deal with the big box guys any more. I like dealing with Wendell who sees to my Guitar needs for now on Since his honestly and integrity is in his core values.
