I guess I was showing my age by using a printed coupon but they seemed to have some difficulty with it not being on an app. It was sorted out. I usually get a blizzard and it was mixed ok. DQ needs to come up with a better mix or better training because I would expect the mix to be throughout the ice cream.

By far the best Dairy Queen in the Metro Area. No contest. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and work quickly to fulfill your order. The only negative is the location is small enough to be called cramped during busy times. Otherwise this has been and continues to be the best experience of its type in town.

This is my favorite Dairy Queen location in the CR metro area, despite the congested location. The staff is always friendly, Ive never been disappointed with the quality, and they give a discount when paying with cash.

After looking online to see it was open until 8,I drove to get ice cream for the family only to see it was closed before 730.

We love this place my husband, and my eldest daughter like the Hot Fudge Sundaes but it was sadly closed these past months you will notice it is closed if the sign is not lighting below the DQ

Even being super busy this place got our huge order out in a timely manor. Staff was super friendly as well.

Very rude owner. Looked at my father, sister, and I like we were crazy for not knowing their terms for small. Then proceeded to roll her eyes and treat us uncomfortably enough to ask her if we had done anything wrong - by just walking in and ordering. I also asked for a little extra whip cream we had payed extra for than the quarter sized dollop she had put on. Of course she went out of her way to express her snarky behavior by filling it to overflow, touching an inch away from the top of the straw. Im Surprised it didnt tilt. We just now left and I am pissed and shocked enough to write this right away. We knew she was the owner because we had asked, so I am in no hurry whatsoever to support her business by any means. I have worked in customer service for years IT IS NOT HARD TO SMILE AND ACT POLITE. Especially as an owner you would think youd go beyound expectations. Long night or not my family did nothing to you to deserve getting treated that way. U should be embarrassed as a grown women.

They have a great chili hot dog and sundae, was $4.00 great.

The line is always so long but they do a great job moving things along. I cant think of a single time my order ever had a mistake-at any DQ ever! I also like that they have the cup sizes attached to the drivethru so you know what youre getting.

Best tasting ice cream Ive had every single time I go there. The people are very friendly, and willing to have a conversation passed Have a nice day. They do a great job of keeping the drive thru moving, and I will never go anywhere else but here for all of my ice cream needs!

My friends and co-workers and I have stopped in several times recently to get ice cream. We have been treated poorly and spoken to rudely on every occasion.This location doesnt participate in things like serving the blizzards upside down and if you ask them they are rude about it. Though, in all honesty, it is probably a good thing they dont since most of the time they are soupy anyway!At this point I am willing to travel the extra distance to go to any other local DQ to get better service, quality and food (since this location does not serve food)!

Ice cream only, this affords them the time to focus on ice cream! They have the best blizzards in town, any variety you want! Yummm!

They built a new building on a very small piece of land and very difficult to get in and out. The prices are outrageous and the quality has gone down....guess they are price gouging in order to pay for it. We will never go again. We will drive across town because its cheaper and the quality is better.

Prices are extremely inflated and the quality is poor. Just got a size 2 blizzard, chocolate xtreme and a size 2 caramel shake with marshmallow for almost $8. They didnt want to use fudge so they just used generic chocolate ice cream with a small amount of toppings - not impressed. My wifes shake literally came out just vanilla ice cream. This has happened several times this year, orders wrong and priced well above other local DQs. I think were finally going to give up on this location.

Both locations in Marion dont participate in the upside down blizzard deal. If you pay with cash you get a discount. The owner or manager is very rude to customers. I was finishing a call on my phone so I stood to the back and finished the call. When I got to the counter, the Manager/owner said, Oh, you are finally off your phone and ready to order now? When I was ready to pay with my Credit Card, she said Well, you dont get the discount. I felt that could have been handled better, but that was just one example of the multiple times I have been treated poorly by this person at this location.

Ordered a small cotton candy blizzard for $5. There was very little cotton candy. Tasted bland like plain vanilla ice cream. Would of expected more for the price, very disappointed.

This dairy queen in Marion Iowa was great exactly how stuff is supposed to be made. Its been around forever always been the best! The DQ in Platteville WI is terrible! Dirty and the staff really could care less. Mushy peanuts!

The Dairy Queen that is on highway 151, across from the Marion Walmart gave me soup for ice cream and didnt even bother to ask if I needed lids on the sundaes I ordered. Then when I asked for lids, I got very bad attitude, and the girl rolled her eyes at me. I even felt like I had to apologise, and I did, for asking for lids. Wont be going back to that Dairy Queen again. Will either go back to my normal favorite one, or to the Hiawatha Dairy Queen. At least their products are good, and the people who work there are professional and kind.

Ive been through the drive thru 3 times now and ordered 3 different blizzards. Each time, all I get is a cup of ice cream. There is close to 0 candy in the blizzard. I complained one of the times, and the manager said maybe the girls are blending them too much. Well, I can get chocolate ice cream from the store for a lot cheaper than what DQ charged. Chintzy!

No wonder this Dairy Queen does not participate in the tip the cup over its so thick because every time I get a blizzard from here it is clearly mixed past the 8 seconds that it should. Their blizzards are always like milk with candy. The ice cream is always completely melted. I would never recommend this Dairy Queen. There has been too many things Ive noticed that I know they are not supposed to do. Not to mention the employees are rude and slow. You could go in there and be the only one in line and have it take 4 minutes just for your two blizzards to be ordered and 6 minutes for the blizzards to be made. This would only be typical if they were very busy and you had a long order. I will not be returning.

This is the DQ that is downtown Marion on 7th Ave. The new building is gorgeous, the employees are always friendly and quick with making the ice cream treats. I have had only good experiences at this Dairy Queen and have been going here since I was a kid and I plan on still going to this location.I have been to the other locations around Marion, Cedar Rapids, and Hiawatha and this one does no event compare by a long shot. 7th Ave DQ is THE DQ of the area hands down. The employees are friendly and always on their game. The owner and her family run a really good business with great workers. There is even a female employee who has been there for years and you can tell she truly loves working there.If you havent been to this DQ, you are missing out!
