Customer service was good but the brake job, with a tire alignment, was quoted at just under $600 for JUST the front end. and that was after a $150 discount for using a third-party repair service. way too much. found out i didnt need an alignment because there was no uneven wear n tear on my tires. also, when i took my hands off the steering wheel, the car tracked perfectly straight down the middle of the road. no swerving to one side n no drifting at 45 mph.i found the same brake job, minus the alignment, at a shop down the street for $250, with a nice warranty.
I love Firestone. Yes its a little pricey, but I think their repair suggestions keeps my used cars running.

Terrible service... wheel alignment had to get done 2xs. I was told they filled up the washer liquid fluid on the 2nd visit. The same day a snow storm came down while driving and my windows were smeared. I couldnt see anything which couldve caused a accident so I got off the hwy to go to gas station washed my windows down with water on order to see. Now Im going up to Firestone for the 3rd time. Which is a inconvenience to me and my time. I just want my money back. And my car is not steering straight still. They didnt do the alignment right in the 1st place. Im Highly upset....
Not very customer service oriented. Wasnt familiar with the area and needed a battery. I was told that I would have to leave the car there overnight to have the battery changed. I decided to just purchase it and install it myself since it was only 3 screws. I asked the person at the front counter did he know where I could buy a wrench he responded no. I walked outside and looked around its a whole Home Depot across the street!! Maybe he doesnt know they sell tools
Unfortunately, your experience here will vary widely depending on whos servicing you. They might save you some money or they could refuse to record your appointment, say thats not our number when you show what day/time you called to schedule, and then, only after re-dialing the number and hearing the office phone ring, hear oh, I forgot from the gentleman at the counter. Pray for the best.

Very Poor service, I brought my car in to get serviced. The mechanic was a fast talking gentlemen who sounded more like a car salesman than a mechanic. They charged me over 2k for my vehicle and did not fix my problem. I am disputing this with their Corporate Office as soon as I get a contact number. I do not know their other locations but this one in MATTESON is dishonest.
I RECOMMEND THAT YOU NEVER GO HERE THIS IS DEFINITELY MY FIRST AND LAST TIME EVER. I came to this Firestone to get an oil change which would of been my first time ever coming here.I dropped my car off at Firestone for just an Oil change. Once my oil change was done my car was picked up and parked in my drive way. I continue to drive my company car as usual For a 2days days. Once I check my house there is oil leaking everywhere on the ground from my car since the day of the oil change. I inspected it more and my car continued to leak oil. About 2 wide area that were about 5ft long if not more. I called firestone in Matteson who did the original oil change and they said drive it to them they will fix it. So I told them It’s a lot of lost oil I dont think driving it is safe so it was towed to the nearest location which is Tinley Park Firestone. They kept my car for a weekend and told me it was fixed and the problem was that no oil plugs were put on my car which is why I lost all the oil. I came to pick up my car park it back and continue to drive my company cars for about 2 more days then decides to drive my personal car again. As soon as I started the car my check engine light came on and i could not accelerate my care passed 2nd gear. I called Firestone they said they will come take a look at it and pick up the vehicle. After a few days of them looking over the vehicle I was told to take the car to Hyundai and they will fix it no charge. Hyundai takes my car and tells me there a few fault codes that could be caused due to the oil situation and it would cost about $300 based off of the fault codes. Then after having a mechanic look over my car completely they said they saw more issue that they felt was caused due to the oil situation with firestone of me losing oil due to no oil plugs and driving it which would cost over $1000. So I made a claim with Bridgestone corporate and they said they would contact the location and speak with them to consult the situation. I get a phone call back from the Hyundai dealer and was told that someone from the Firestone location in Matteson said they will not pay for any repairs. The service advisor at Hyundai told me he was told to clear the codes on my car and give me the vehicle as if it was fixed when they deliberately know its not. The Service Advisor told me that being that he felt it was mischievous and to cover himself and that he felt I should have been aware of that. What they suggested is fraudulent concealment. As soon as I found out I called corporate made them aware of the issue and they just apologized and said they have no oversee over that location as that they will look into it. Its been a week and a half going on 2 weeks still no returned phone call from corporate. WORST CORPORATION AND COMPANY EVER

While on the way to work, I had a few brake related lights pop up on my dash. This was the closest place open on a Sunday. I spoke with Chris over the phone. He was very friendly and seemed very honest. It took this team about an hour to get back to me with what they had found (I did not have an appointment) and an additional 1.5 hours to complete the repairs (rotors, pads, brake fluid, oil change). The price was very fair, which was a really nice surprise. Very happy with the service, professionalism, and not pulling my pants down over the price. Ill be a repeat customer solely based on the excellent customer service I received today.-Angelo

I can’t share enough how positive my experience was here. I brought my car in from out of town on a trip. I had a diagnosis done and they deemed they did not have the part in stock and recommended a competitor in town who was most likely to have it. After I discovered the competitor did not have it either, I brought my car back. The Firestone staff let me leave my car in their lot so I could catch my flight out of Chicago. My car was fixed and waiting for me when I returned. Not only that, they stored it inside for me at their spare truck lift at no additional charge.If that wasn’t enough, the gentleman that helped back my car off the lift noticed the brakes weren’t operating properly. He popped the hood right in the lot, identified the issue, and fixed it in two minutes while I stood there — again, at no additional charge.My experience here was exemplary of fantastic customer service. I can’t recommend this place enough, even if it is a bit of a hike from your location. The service was fantastic, they did not take advantage of me, and the work done fixed my issue. Thank you!
I’ve gotten work done on my car here a couple of times. They seem very trustworthy but it can be expensive. Other than the cost, I have no complaints about this place.
Not helpful at all. I was in here on Oct 16 6pm and I needed a quote on breakpads and rotors installation. I waited in line for 15min and when I got to the desk for quote he said he cant give me a quote before inspection. I called like 7 places around I live and all of them gave me a quote over the phone. I wish they could do the same. I was their first time customer and I was so looking forward to give my business to them since it is closer to where I work. They lost a sale and a customer by not giving me a quote. I went with somebody else who gave me a quote over the phone.
I came here to get an oil change, I was definitely impressed with how wiggly they are. The staff are very courteous and professional. I would recommend people to come here. I think their price is very competitive. I would definitely go here again and again.
I tried going to other places and had horrible experiences. I was relieved to find that Firestone in Matteson had honest, pleasant, and helpful workers. Ive been several times now. No one tries to convince me of unnecessary work and they do what they are supposed to do in a timely manner.
Wow service was amazing!!!! Was 75 miles into a 700 mile trip when we ran over something on interstate 57 approaching linclon hwy. Got to firestone actually 45 minutes before opening but yet they were so willing to help at that moment and get us back on the road. Wish we had such a reliable place closer to my home.

Went for oil change and I dont think it was done. The date 1/21/21 so how is the oil dirty already? Not even three months later. Wont be back for that.
We were traveling and were 3 miles from our destination and hit metal. They treated us right and fast!! We were there for less than 45 minutes and made it to our appointment on time!
Everyone is so nice. Ive known the manager John since 2006 when he was in Lansing. This Firestone is about customers first. Even though I couldnt be seen today there was a very nice young man who put air in my tires for me. God bless all of them.
Nice place, nice guys. Had a low tire pressure warning light before long highway road trip. Sure enough same tire was low, again. Thinking slow leak, rather than just fill air, suggested that it might be valve fail, and a few other things. They see it all. Probably worth getting a new tire.
I love this place. They found out what was wrong with my car then took care of the issues correctly. I finally had an alternator replaced and my wheels balanced there. Big thumbs up!

Twice took my Vehicle to this shop,withun 2 weeks...They try to sell you Unnecessary repairs AND do not Repair what was needed to be repaired So that you have to come back a week later with same issue and Let you drive off with an Unsafe vehicle. ..Do not go here and tell everyone you know, each visit would have been $1,000.00 or more..instead of only what was needed to be done for under $200.00..Unbelievable that they wouldnt call the customer as to why the hatch wouldnt open, ppftt, some mechanic that is that can not figure out how to open a door, even with the interior panel removed. .do not go here, spread the word.
The customer service is outstanding! The service manager explains everything in detail and keeps you updated on your repairs, and also informs you of deals and coupons available. They also give you a courtesy check and advise you on needed repairs.

This place is the most horrible Firestone Ive been to. They just jacked up the brakes on my girlfriends car. The brakes were done in July of last year and needed to be repaired today. This place for one owes me my money back and I will NEVER and I repeat NEVER return back. They will give me my money back some how. This place deserves negative Stars, and if they want to contact me they can. Just respond back to this. This place truly a terrible place to bring you car. I really want to send a very, very big and special thank you to Ray Munos. We have been coming to Firestone for years and we have always had great customer service. I say that to illustrate the outstanding level of customer service received from Ray. The service we received yesterday has made my husband and I a lifetime customer. My mother is a senior citizen whose car failed the emissions test, she took it to an alley mechanic and failed the test again. Needless to say, she was quite stressed. We took the car to Firestone and had the car diagnosed. Ray stayed in constant communication and had the car repaired in the same day.Ray took so much time out of his day to explain what was happening with so much patience and care. We were all really touched by how helpful Ray was. My mother was so pleased with her experience (which says alot). In a world with increasing automation, I can tell you that nothing takes the place of high level professional human to human customer service like we received from Ray Munos. I will continue to recommend Firestone to all of my family and friends. Thank you Ray!
Good service, only problem I had was how my service advisor added road hazard protection to my bill without asking me if I would like to have this protection. I dont no if this is standard practice, but thats not good.

Service in the past was good, but most recent visit was frustrating. I scheduled a Sunday appointment for a diagnostic. The appointment was confirmed, but upon arrival, they said theres no diagnostic person available that day. Dont see the point of setting up appointments if they cant be relied upon.

Went in for a oil change next thing you know my car was over heating & smoking no problems until I came here! I think they mess up your car intentionally just so you can bring it back to pay more money! I will never go here again!!
So Ive given this location more than one chance.Family has Lived in the neighborhood for quite sometime. Everytime I come theres something. The non customer service communication is lacking, some of your employees lack knowledge and I usually a hit or miss on Time and efficiency. But we try and support our city. This time, today, Sunday 4.14.19. I make appointment a week prior for an oil change and an issue with my starter. I lay out the issue thoroughly in the notes. I come in Im waiting in the lobby for too long and you all are nonchalant by the fact that your electrician insnt in? And you cant complete the appointment... Why did you accept the appointment ? Why wasnt I called to reschedule if you dont provide that service on Sundays? It just so happened to be snowing today too. Yet I made my appointment and left with nothing. Im irritated and honestly disappointed. I personally will not be back.
Always fair service. I never wait more than 2 hours here unlike Firestone in Homewood or Midlothian IL. Very hard to get appointments and great service at those locations. Matteson is about 15 mins away, but worth the drive.
Very professional and honest. Took my suv for a oil leak and engine light and in minutes they were able to pinpoint what was wrong and showed me exactly what needed to be done.

Came in for an oil change & while my vehicle was on the lift, they showed me a few minor things that I should keep an eye on in terms of future repairs. Most places just change your oil & thats it. I appreciate their attention to other things going on with my vehicle without the hard sales pitch.

Place was just okay some of the worker are o.k But I think a lot of the work just be preventive maintenance. That you really dont need at the time. But if course its still up to you, But when they do, do work car seems to be just fine.
We took our car in to be serviced and they requested 2,000 dollars for a 900 dollar job.

I came to firestone to get a wheel alignments and to get some tires installed they told me it was going to taken 2hours and a half they had my bmw for 5 hours and they didnt do the wheel alignments right my steering wheel was all sideways not straight brought it back and still took another hour and half and they ended up telling me they couldnt do the back wheel alignments because there was two washers washers that arnt the original ones and they didnt have does washers so they didnt fix it but they still charged me full prize for something they didnt do horrible experience would not be coming back here ever again lazy people

Poor service here in Matteson xhop. They over charge for work thats not performed. I will never go back to this particular shop. Yesterday they did front end work shocks and brakes and directly told me the rear brakes are excellent. They also recommended other part and work on my truck. Today early this morning i had issues stopping pulling to the right loud popping noises while driving to St Charles. I found another Firestone here in St Charles IL and they found issues that should of been noticed at the first shop in Matteson. STAY AWAY FROM MATTESON IL FIRESTONE!!!!!
Great auto care for years,I have been coming here.
Went there for an oil change, they recommended changing the light-bulb on my Chevy Aveo plates. They charged for the oil change and the light-bulb but never changed the light-bulb. Luckyli, I planned to go to the Panda Express in front of them, where I noticed that the light-bulb was not changed. I did not get an apology, they arrogantly said that the screws were rusted and they forgat to remove the charge.
They made me wait a whole week for an appointment just to tell me they couldn’t fix my car & they didn’t even try to look at it my engine was making a noise & they told me they don’t deal with engines .... why didn’t you tell me that when I wait a entire week for an appointment very unprofessional
