I had the best experience here at Mavis in Matteson. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Victoria really took care of me. I made an appointment to get new tires and I had a noise diagnosed. I later asked for my oil to be changed. I received the assessment quickly as well as an unrelated concern the mechanical team checked out for me. I had the recommended repairs performed, new tires installed, an alignment, & oil change, and my vehicle was ready well before expected. I highly recommend this Mavis location for all your vehicle repair and maintenance needs. :-))

Wanted to put plug into tire that had nail it it. They said they said they took the nail out and put a plug in. The tire went flat later that day again. If thats the case they should have sold me a new tire not just a plug

I like that I can go online book an appointment, receive confirmation and show up for my appointment. The building is always clean when I come. Staff has been polite and professional. Service on my car has been great... never had any issues after receiving service from them. I definitely recommend.

Came in for a full set of tires and a wheel alignment. Lets just say, if my wheel is straight while Im driving it slightly goes left. I turned around to get that solved and they did not even try to make the slight adjustment. Just told me to get my suspension and control arm replaced. Both have been replaced and fixed by my main mechanics recently.The tires seem ok for now but I will never be going back. I dont trust them. They seem to be using the similar tactics Jiffy Lube uses to get the most money out of customers.Even brought up a new problem that wasnt a problem before they replaced my tires. My wheel was not making a clunking sound but now it does. I have had 2 wheel alignments recently and my wheel has not had a problem being aligned properly. Stick with your trusted mechanic. It will cost less and its safer.And of course I will be going back to my mechanics to get it double checked.

Never have enough employees to get the job done. The wait time is horribly ridiculous. Need to do a better job at costumer service and expediting service.

I wish I could give this establishment 0 stars for how unprofessional and unapologetic they were. The communication was some of the worst I’ve ever experienced and I would not recommend utilizing their services. Also be sure to ask as many questions as possible regarding estimated wait time and the Flexshopper financing option and how much you will REALLY need to pay in order to pay off the service without 90 days if you decide to go here (against my advice).

Was having a bad day and the tire situation made it worse on this snowy day-until I came across Ozzie and his crew this evening. Ozzie greeted me at the door, very welcoming and took his time explaining the details of what took place with my tire after assessing the situation. He was very personable! He immediately asked if I was comfortable enough to enter the building or preferred to sit in my car until it was time for my car to be seen. Due to covid, I stayed in my car and he checked on me while I waited. He even provided updates while being serviced. This has been by far the best experience I’ve had in a tire shop. Most of the time, you’re rushed or felt unheard-especially as a woman and I appreciated the care that Ozzie provided today. Thank you Ozzie!

Started on Friday, called to make to see if I could come in was told yes, got to the shop and was told no way I could be seen that day. Was told the call center messes this up all the time. I called the call center and was told the regional manager would call me back, that didnt happen either. Made a online appointment for Sat, apparently those times dont matter. Im going on 4hrs of wait time for a break service that I had an appointment for. Prices arent any better than most places,bad communication between call center and actual store and no follow through on customer service call backs. First and last time here, unless I have 4hrs to do nothing on a rainy day. Would 0 star if I couldUPDATE : after my service had to turn around and bring my vehicle right back, due to grinding noises. They had bent something and instead of a replacement they tried to just bend it back and it didnt work. Also day 5 with no call back from the regional manager, after being told two separate times that I would get one.

I always chose Discount Tires (right next door) for my tires but they were booked so I stopped here. I was quoted a great price over the phone and was told no appointment needed and I would get my car back today, sounds great right! Not!! You can not trust the website specials will be honored, I was told maybe I was looking at the wrong site (really!) You cant trust the information you receive when you call before going in as far as cost or tire availability or rather they are doing walk ins only or appointments!!!! I DONT LIKE CLICK BAIT or GET YOU in the DOOR BAIT either!!!! I was lied to for what?? No one was on one accord from site, call, or in person visit... and therefore I could NOT TRUST the quality of work. When I take my car in for a service I need to know Im in the best hands possible. Tires are a very important part of vehicle safety. I did not feel this location had it together to give me that peace of mind. I was shocked and very disappointed. I feel the manager needs to resolve known issues so the customers can have the assurance they need to say Lets do it! NTB Corporate if you are Not concern about the integrity, consistency, customer satisfaction from your company then shame on you.

Great and communicative staff. They make sure to let you know upfront whats going on with your vehicle and theres no pressure to get other things done just because they suggested it. Very friendly and easy to work with!

Took my car in for slow leak tire. The mechanic showed me where it was seeping around the rim.Two days later still doing the same old thing which is leaking slowly. I took it into the dealership 5 days later and they found a nail in the tire. When I called Mavis to let them know he said it must have happened once I left their shop. REALLY like I dont know the difference that the same tire has been leaking 🙃 before and after I went to Mavis. I learned a lesson. Dont go back and dont tell them about a mistake they made because you will only get excuses. In the beginning I thought they were helpful and professional. AND I thought my tire was fixedI will never return to NTB/MARVIS

Came to Mavis Tire and Brakes in Matteson, IL for two brand new tires. Clinton that worked there was able to provide me wonderful customer service and a great price on my two new tires that were better quality than the ones I had on my car! He is very helpful and knowledgeable! I highly reccomend this place, and there services!

Panicked when I hit the curb and ruined my tire, I am glad I thought to give them a call! I called NTB, even though they didnt have the exact tire I needed in stock, they were able to order it and I was able to pick it up the next afternoon. That was a stress free experience! After my faux faux, I certainly didnt need additional stress added to the mix!

The Matteson store was a complete disappointment. I ordered a set of tires a week ago and they were supposed to be installed today. Arrived for the appointment and was told the tires were just ordered yesterday and werent there yet. A whole week and the tires were ordered the day before the appointment? I received multiple email and text to remind me of my appointment. But no call to inform me that the tires hadnt arrived. Thats some enept bulls**t. Im done, my business will be taken to another location. I cant trust the service there now. I see why Discount Tires next door has more customers.

Terrible service! Purchased a full set of tires approximately 14 months ago with balancing and wheel alignment. Returned with a damaged tire to get repaired and was told due to the low amount of tread they couldnt fix the damaged tire. I asked to have the rear tire(s) replaced and was told they could not replace any of the tires unless I purchased a full set. Currently 3 of the 4 tires are fine. All this was because I have a AWD car, which makes no sense. Customers Beware!!!! I will never shop with NTB or Mavis Tires & Brakes again.
