I really love JC Penney. I am always able to find nice clothes there at good prices. The employees at checkout are always nice. The store is very organized and clean.

Basically in the middle of nowhere, friendly people, easy access. Clean and organized.

I went to JC Penney to purchase a mattress set, which there was a very nice selection. But more importantly, my Sales person was excellent She helped Me tremendously. Last time I went mattress shopping box springs came with the mattress, times have surely changed. Anyway, it was a wonderful experience strictly because of the Sales persons knowledge, and assistance!

This location never has the things I need. Ive been there for many different departments and I almost always leave disappointed. My visit today resulted in me discovering that they do not have a maternity section in-store. I am pregnant and in need of maternity pants. The lady who works there told me that they did not have a maternity section and I would have to buy what I needed online. This took me by surprise because I figured a large store like this one would cater to pregnant women in their brick and mortar. Hopefully other locations have a maternity section and theyre not all like that.

My daughter and I visited the jewelry department at JC Penney in Matteson today and had the most amazing customer service experience with a sales lady by the name of Lynn. Ms. Lynn was extremely focused on making sure we received great service as well as being very personable. I left feeling like I had just had an enjoyable visit with a good friend … smiling and feeling joy in my heart. Thank you Ms. Lynn and may God continue to bless you!

Store was clean and tidy. Employees were nice and warm. But stock was very limited.

Absolutely love their clearance/sales/discounts.

Had to return bras- the nice lady reordered them in the size I needed, processed the returns for the rest, and double checked to make sure it was correct. Be sure to fill out the survey on the back of your receipt!

The customer service here was very good... Coming in the door the wife and I was greeted. Maybe coming fresh off of New Years people were still in the spirit. I wish every day was like that.

If i could give negative stars i would! first and last time i will ever use this portrait studio! i purchased prints and digital images from my kids session in February. they said the prints would take up to 10 weeks in the mail and the digital prints would be available on shutterfly within a week. this package option was $150 (extremely over priced). so here we are at the end of May and i have yet to receive my prints. i call them and they tell me that my order did not include prints!! like why would i pay anywhere near $150 for digital images that i couldve taken on my own with my phone!! then when i asked to speak with a supervisor the rep tells me they are not available!! also they dont tell you the real prices before the session! they just keep talking about coupons which you dont get unless you are signed up to receive them! dont waste your time or money!! total rip off!

I did most of my Christmas shopping at JCPENNEY. They had a large selection of clothes and various other items for me to choose from. Im a shopaholic anyway and I was on cloud nine! They had a lot of great sales and I had my JCP 35% off coupon in addition which took 35% off my total purchase (which was in the hundreds!). I was able to complete my Holiday shopping for everyone on my list, get some things for myself and save a lot of money to boot. I was in the store looking for towels and wondered over to mattress section the salesperson in there was very knowledgeable, the next thing I know I was buying mattress and adjustable base for $1300.

The store was nice and clean. Associates out and about so if I needed assistance I did not have to go on the hunt. I had to wait in the check out line longer than expected but the associate that checked me out was nice and quick.

Great service and great deals. I placed an online order and came to pick it up and forget my drivers license there and I called back and they were able to get it back to me. Very appreciative!

My sister took me shopping. The associate in Womens Shoes was very nice and extremely helpful. I am recovering from a sprained ankle and she was very accommodating and helpful to my sister and me. Professional, courteous and knowledgeable of the department and sales. We were looking for one pair of shoes. We purchased 4 pair! She is a great associate. I need to add, she did not pressure us, but her helpfulness made the purchases easier. Shes a keeper and the quality of the merchandise is great. My feet are comfortable!

I hardly shop here but have been 3 times in last month. Theres always hardly anyone in there. Always seems to be that way. Dont know how they stay open.

I called and scheduled a hair appointment at the salon at 1:48pm yesterday 2/16/20.Upon arriving for my SCHEDULED appointment, I was told that the person booked the wrong date...2/24/20.No one else was able to accommodate me and I start a new job tomorrow 😡

Not one employee said hello. Or anything at all to me. I had my arms filled with items I was buying and 11 employees walked right passed me. Didnt ask me if I needed a cart? There was HARDLY ANYONE OTHER THAN ME AND THEM IN THE STORE. Dont be surprised when this dump closes in Matteson too. Pathetic. Dont work in retail if you cant say hello. Seriously I am very unhappy with the store and those employees. Ive never seen something like that.

Because I had to Waite in line with people who wanted to get coupons and I only wanted to shop and look around not for coupons. So I left. I really dont shop in Penney. I before Kohls.

Clothes selection isnt what it use to be.

Nice selection of costume jewelry, and helpful staff. Some displays were a little messy, but good prices and sales. Good sale on womens boots, too. A little hard to find because it is off the main roads. Easy parking and shopping.

Great merchandise and it is one of the better stores we have close by since Carsons is no longer in Matteson. The dresses at JC Penneys are superb. And they have great styles for old and young people.

The sales lady was very helpful. She asked if I needed help finding anything (I did, I was looking for Stafford mens v-neck in a big & tall size) and took the time to offer to find it on jcpenney website since it was out of stock in the store.

Nice variety but I couldnt find any of the sizes that I needed.

Usually my experience is pretty good here, but this time I was a little frustrated. I was looking to buy some pants and there was no one walking around to help me find what I needed. Things were a little cluttered as well, Im not sure if thats because of the holiday rush or what. Ill review this location again, because I really dont like leaving bad reviews. Hopefully theyll step their game up next time, lol.

Won’t be heading back to this location. We have s as Lewis has great experiences here in the past. This time was not the same. The photographer we had was brand new. She had her note pad open on the counter for everyone to see. All her notes and all. When it came to the pictures, they were ok. I know my son was a handful, but I feel like they could have been better. Shen time to order, she really had no idea had to roam the computer for me so I could order and design our Christmas cards. I actually had to do. When all was said and done and It was time to order the cards, she only ordered me 12 out of the 60 cards I was suppose to receive. I caught it after the fact but was able to get a hold of someone to order the rest. When they came in on the 15th, the 48 cards were missing envelopes. They were suppose to be ordered for me and I would be contacted when they came in. I never heard from anyone while on vacation. I called when we hit back into town ( December 3rd.) No envelopes were ordered for me to replace what I didn’t receive. She told me to come by Thursday and they would be there. Guess what!!! Showed up Thursday and still no cards. Left a message for the manager. She called back but I missed the call. When I returned her call, she giggled like it was funny that I still didn’t have cards. Apparently it’s a joke that I’m still waiting for them. They are suppose to be in on Monday. When I asked r why they were never ordered on the 15th when I told her that they were missing, she said customer device couldn’t help her with ordering them. Everyone just passes the hick and takes no responsibility for anything. We will be going to a different location from now on.

Everyone is friendly, you are greated as you walk in. The team here explains money saving opportunities to you. The store is very organized and clean. In photography the young lady is excellent with children. Very patient and knows how to capture smiles even when you never saw any from the baby. Love this place!!! Reasonable, affordable, and friendly. Everything you would expect from JC Pennys and more.

Great service & very clean store

My only issue with JCP is there is hardly ever anybody on the floor to ask questions. Ive walked the whole store and have found one young man available to answer a question. Everyone else is ringing up customers.
