SO grateful for their expertise AND customer service. Having lost a few pounds since getting married 3+ years ago, I literally had my ring fly off my finger while playing hoops with some of my boys at Central Medford High. Took 15 minutes before finally finding it half-way across the court. Because it couldnt be sized down that much, RV Coin worked out an exchange for a smaller size...FREE of charge!! What can I say?? That is extraordinary!

Ive been coming here since I was about 12yrs old with my Grandpa and my Uncle. Ive taken all my kids here to continue the tradition!! If you want Precious Metals come here they treat you like family.

My wife came in here at the beginning on 2019 with two diamonds she inherited. She was told that each on was worth only 100 dollars and that they couldnt be cleaned. Turns they are worth far more than 100 dollars, with half a karat in the one we are setting in her wedding ring. They not only lied to us but where prepared to steal from us. I would recommend never doing business here. Its hard to believe that so called professionals are actually thiefs.

The male tried over-charging me and was rude the entire time and wanted to charge me almost 7 over spot price. These people dont have no dignity and will treat you like a criminal rather than a customer. Go here if you are a sadist, otherwise there are so many better options than Rogue. I have been going there for years and its not the same now as it used to be. I have a medical condition and Im unable to wear a mask. I was told Id have to go outside or put one on to get the help I needed. Then was told that coins are most valuable when they are first struck/made? Ive been collecting coins since I was a kid. I will not be going to this location ever again and ill advise my friends and family to do the same. I am literally disappointed the owner would let this sort of misinformation happen in his establishment.

I Have a Medical Exception for wearing mask, against the law according to ADA. Could be fined up to $75,000 for first offense. I am disabled and unable to wear a mask. Go to Alexander Coins just down the street, really nice guy!

If you only have a bandana to wear as a face mask itll really hurt your chances of them even looking at your coin. I brought in 3 ww2 coins and was told theyre combined value was less than 2 cents. They didnt realize 1 was a 1944 steel wheat back penny because he said they werent worth even taking a close look. I prefered zero stars but i cant post this without 1 star

I have to say I really appreciate the prices, customer service and knowledge of the coin and bullion side of the business. That is why they get a 2 star instead of a 1.Unfortunately I can not say the same for the jewelry side. The last time I was there, even though there was no one else in the store, it took forever to be asked if I needed help and then it felt that it was given begrudgingly.I ended up making a small purchase of about $200 and was then challenged that my drivers license did not match my credit card. Charlie vs Charles.Finally with managers approval, a severe scolding and instructions to immediately get my credit card corrected I was allowed to make the purchase. I will not waste my time there again.

Some time ago I went to Rogue Valley Coin and Jewelry looking for a watch. I saw a Citizens that seemed to be priced fairly but when I asked questions about the age of the watch I detected a hostile attitude on the part of the person I had been talking to. It was strange.I remembered the endless ads you hear from Claire on the radio every day telling you to gather up all your gold and silver pieces even dental gold for an evaluation [not an appraisal] an appraisal might be binding ; and you can get an even bigger percentage [ What exactly do they mean here } when you purchase any of their jewelry.I guess someone who finds something they like, they tend NOT to pay attention to what they are selling or getting for it in cash,, thinking only of the much bigger percentage they will get when they purchase their desired piece of jewelry.Its all a very cleverly thought out scam.And so later the next day or so, I called and spoke to a lady that had a slight foreign accent.She told me it was Hungarian. O.K. another globalist, so what..I mentioned that I had some bits and pieces of gold I would like to apply the value to a watch I had seen earlier that was selling for 90.00$She said sure . I then asked what the additional percentage would be applied to the watch and she couldnt answer. I asked to confirm the price of the watch and as I expected they jacked up the price to 127.00$ When I mentioned that, she stated that the watch at that time was on special. But no longer.So whatever larger percentage they claim to offer you when purchasing a piece of jewelry you can expect to lose it after they raise the price of the item.I can offer you 90% discount after I raise the retail by a hundred percent.Its all a clever swindle. Dont be fooled. I think there may be a tribe of jewelers in the area, many from Hungary.I would never have anything to do with these folks, not in a million years!Do not BUY here! Its like a car dealer giving you a lot for your trade in, only to reduce the discount you wouldve received without a trade in.. ItIts all a big trick.

Meeting Mike and John was wonderful.We are coin dealers who travel the entire country buying and selling. We have met all kinds of people who own coin shops, but rarely anyone who conducts such an honest and straight-forward business.We spent 2 days inside their shop buying. Mike is a seasoned dealer, but by that I only mean someone who has been around the block and will not pull your leg.Our dealings were honest and genuine, I wish more people could be like this family. When inside the shop, we saw more than a dozen people come in trying to sell coins or scrap jewelry. Nearly all of the prices they paid were more than we could have if we were in that position.When leaving, we purchased a large gold chain which had nearly 3 ounces of pure gold in it. Several months later we were passing through Medford and decided to sell the piece off. I took the necklace back to Mike and what he offered me was a single digit margin less than we paid (this is VERY fair).We were not only impressed, but honored to deal with this family. Mikes wife Claire was kind and gracious as well as very giving of her knowledge and experience in gemstones (one of our passions as rockhounds)..When I mentioned local fishing, Mikes son Chris went out of his way and printed out the current local fishing report for the Rogue and Deschutes Rivers. Then he recommended the best bait and tackle shop locally. WHO DOES THIS???!!!When in Medford, it was August, and EXTREMELY hot. When Mike realized my wife and daughter were hanging out in our RV a couple of blocks away, he begged me to bring them in.... It just felt comfortable and genuine.This is a place that we will always return to when anywhere in the area.Thank you for such fair dealings and running an upright business, you have our business always.

Terrible service I had around 17 really old coins that over half were selling from 30-350$ a coin then I had one that online didnt go below 5k and they tryed to give 13$ for them
