Good for basic maintenance work like oil change, new tires, alignment and that’s it. Don’t take their life time wheel alignment plans, as when you come back for the wheel alignment check later a second or a third time, because they already took your money upfront, you are not their priority. They make you wait forever. Partly might be to deter you from coming back again for the free life long alignment checks!!! Also store doesn’t have FREE WIFI or COFFEE MACHINE, waiting at their shop is dead boring. Their TV channels suck!

I called ahead to get a rough estimate for a brake pad change and rotor turn. Spoke to Nate, and he was very helpful; got back in a day or so. Took the car in the next week and he called to let me know that the rotors were past their usable life.However, I knew that they likely needed to be replaced and had procured replacement parts earlier with the intention of doing the work myself. I told Nate this fact, and he kindly suggested I could bring them in and they would try to use them. My car, for better or worse, has Brembo brakes, and the retaining pins were pretty well stuck, but they were able to get them off and the parts I had gotten on.Overall, great experience, and I would gladly recommend. 5/5

This was the first firestone that didnt try to upsell me. They did the work I requested and had me on my way quickly. They were professional in every way, and the work was done quickly and at a fair price.I would definitely recommend them.

Dropped my truck off to have a tire plugged/ patched, tire was balanced and holding air when I got my truck back for a fair price.

They are good for tires and oil changes but that’s it. Pretty sure they double book appointments since they had my car for 28 hours for a “3 hour job”. At least work on the communication.

Nate is the Manager at Store # 777320 in Mentor, Ohio. He has always been very polite, fair and honest in my dealings at this store. I trust Nate completely and would not have my car serviced anywhere else. Nate always puts his customers first and makes sure that they are extremely satisfied.

Looking at some of the other reviews, I have had many major things done here, and all my tires. Maybe sometimes be little slow, it’s a garage, things don’t always come apart like on YouTube.Things happen, but, it’s always done correctly and if a problem, they are right on it. I drive from Ashtabula, so I do appreciate them and my daughter also does all her work here too and they take great care of her and we trust them. And, I know several other women who go there for the same reason!I Recently had a brake job, as a result I had a loud clunking on one axel after I left. Took couple trips, but Nate, persisted to finally narrow it down from several possibilities. All done with a smile whether Nate, Bob, or Adam, all very knowledgeable. Listen to them explain a problem to a customer!A place like that is pretty busy, working hard to get things done efficiently, easy to miss a finished ticket? I had a good experience here at Firestone. I wont say that they can fix everything that I bring to b them, but the one they do work on, is good. I live 40 min away, but its worth it to me. I do know a good deal about cars, so I can pick up that they know what they are doing by the the conversation. I have been happy with all the work done one my car. I called to make an appointment for Thursday and was told that I didn’t need one for an oil change and to “just bring it in.” I dropped it off at 9:20 am and was told it would take 2-3 hours. At 2:15pm, nearly 5 hours later, I called and was told another hour to hour and a half. At 4 pm, I called back. They still had not done the oil change and he unapologetically asked if I could bring it back on Saturday, which I declined. I was able to pick up my car, stop at a place 1/2 mile down Mentor Ave and get an oil change in less than an hour from when I picked up keys from Firestone. At no point, did either employee I interacted with seem to understand what an inconvenience this was and neither employee even bothered to apologize.

I was going to give this place 5 stars even though they couldn’t help me however the customer service went downhill quick. I dropped a tire off to get patched. I prepaid $32 and some change. I ended up getting a tire down the road as this was place was a little over my price point. When they went to refund me, they went to refund only $30. It’s not that big of a deal, however when I brought it up the sales rep Nate gave me some random bs about how another shop would have charged me $4 for this or that. It came off shady and scammy.

I have never been a fan of Firestone throughout our moves. However, G uses them and seems good with their service. I think the major draw for Firestone is spreading the repair bill over several months. I will say that this team doesnt appear to play the games I have seen in other locations.

Made an appointment when they opened to get 1 tire changed at 2pm. I was told I would have to wait a few hours and about 3/12 later I was told they don’t have the tire and to try coming back next week. When I asked why i didn’t hear sooner they told me they drove all around Ohio trying to find me a tire instead of simply calling the other stores. Don’t even bother to make an appointment because that doesn’t mean anything here.

Where is the customer service? I made an appointment the day before for an oil change because every place is closed after five except Firestone and Midas. They had taken my keys and I had to wait for a ride and in the meantime I see nobody coming out to my car and then finally somebody comes and says “ actually could you bring it on Friday- We are an all service centre and you know we are really busy finishing up other stuff.”

I usually have pretty good service here, but not this time.I made an appointment yesterday and dropped my vehicle off this morning as planned. I dropped my keys in the overnight box and went to work. My car was there for them to do an oil change and a tire rotation at 8am when they open when my appointment was scheduled. I went to work and 7.5 hours later, I called because I hadn’t heard from them. The guy on the phone was clueless that my vehicle was even there. He said he would call back after he talked to who worked on it.I get there 30 mins later and the vehicle was where I parked it this morning. I go in and they had not even worked on my vehicle at all. They all the sudden were in a rush to get it in. He barely apologized and told me to come back tomorrow. They didn’t even try to make up or compensate me for my bad experience. I hope for better experiences in the future.

Extremely professional and over all an amazing experience. The dealership tried to play me for a fool and tell me I needed several services on my car after an inspection with Firestone we found none of these to be true, but, we did find something the dealer did not. They were very candid with me and explained everything very thoroughly. I appreciate them saving me not only time, but money, and will definitely be bringing my business back once more!

Ran over a piece of metal and got a flat. Took the tire in and despite it being busy, they were able to take and patch the tire in a couple of hours and for about $30. Friendly service guys. Decent waiting area in you stick around.

Charged me over the quoted price on 4 tires by $120. Made excuses why the price is so high.Took two and a half hours to get 4 tires put on. I would never recommend this business to anyone. Do yourself a favor and find someplace else to go.

Made online appt for 9 am on a Friday. At dropoff, the place was packed. Rather than stay, I ubered home. As I was leaving they were pulling my car in. I got it back in a reasonable amount of time. Steve! The man, the myth, the legend! Hooked us up like a tow truck! Went in to get tires balanced....he found a much worse problem but that didnt stop him from giving the best customer service ever! My experiences with Firestone started at the store in Rocky River, they were always wonderful there and made that Firestone location my go-to car place. I recently had work done out at the Mentor store because I was out that way when the problems started and wasnt able to keep driving it back to the west-side. I am happy to say that I continued to receive excellent service. They always explain the work needed in a way that I understand, keep me updated throughout the process, and clearly go above and beyond in getting things done efficiently. I am feel confident going to either store location depending on which side of town Im on.

Friendly enough, but I felt the knowledge of my road hazard warranty could have been better understood. Its Enterprise car sales that they deal with many times. The warranty customer service said I wouldnt need to pay up front, yet I had to give a deposit. It was Sunday and the warranty office was closed. Ill give them that. Quick and friendly. Hidden cost not explained up front. 76 dollar tire cost 107

The staff including Nate were very personable and helpful. They got me back on the road. They were cost reasonable. I will be back for additional services in the future. The new location works great for me to visit local stores and work out at Title Boxing nearby while my car is serviced.

The people there are great!! Everything went as they spelled out for us. Everyone knows that the moment you say tires ya k me you are looking at a real bill. I went to Firestone and was pleasantly surprised. They had the four wheel alignment bay open on a Sunday! These guys have a 7 day a week operation that even offers online internet appointments! They have fast service and a clean restroom. What more could you ask for? 🤔

I went back to them after service that I had their of new tires and the one tire was wearing and I asked out and why is that what I was told then that it was a tie rod or something like that but I asked them you know cuz I fix it and of course they would but they should have done it before they put the tires on the ruin the Tires Tires aint even a year old but now I have to buy new tires again because the tie rod is bent I whatever you call that thing. Very dissatisfied with Firestone. And the amount they wanted to fix it was outrageous!

This location in particular is great! The waiting area is clean and the workers are always friendly. I never feel like Ive been talked down to when Im there. They quote a price, and barring any crazy unforseen circumstances, they stick to it. Sometimes they run a little long on time but not usually, and if that happens they come and let you know right away so youre not just sitting there wondering. These guys make getting your car fixed less awful than it otherwise would be

Had an alignment done. Took a bit longer than expected and also was started well after my appointment time. Manager could have been a bit more friendly. Seemed a little too full of himself.

Service was awesome! My daughter had a flat and they were just gonna plug it. They said it was to bald to do that so she got 2 new tires and had her in and out in less then an hr!

Had an alignment done. Bob was good in pro-rating my less than 6 month old tires. The tires were rotated as required but the tires should gave never got that bad. Really starting to rethink if Firestone ever cleaned up their bad tire image. All around brakes were done but noticed 1 of the brakes was not performing properly. They evaluated and fixed the problem at no cost. It was installation problem. Should have been done right the first time.

I had a nail in my tire and took it in to get it repaired as a walk in services, the service was fast and very friendly staff!

I made an appointment on friday to get 4 wheels put on. Was told that it would only take me 1hr. Came in on monday and was told that I would have my car back for 4 hrs. Which I was not happy about. Then I had called at 5 and found out they had yet to get my car in. My car was finished at 6:58pm the store closed at 7 pm. I was then charged for tire disposal only to find the tires in the back of my car. I am not happy that this happened and I will not be going back there.

Came in without an appointment on a busy Sunday due to a razor blade embedded in my tire that had only 100 miles on it, I literally bought the car the day before. They had my tire replaced and ready to go for only $124 an hour later.

I usualy dont give 4 stars. This Firestone had the all star team. So yes i knew that I would be happy with whatever they did b with my car. Note, you will pay for this. Anyway I didnt mind, because I knew that I was in good hands. As soon as I got 500ft, I was sure that I was right. So I know that I sound like Im gushing, but its real. I did get some info about the man who is responsible for all this, so I will actually say that if youre in Mentor ohiio, this is where you want to end up if youre in a jam.

I was told that I need my ball joints replaced and a left driver side CV joint and was told it would cost $577 to fix the 3 items... I called my mechanic and asked him to look at the car to be sure and he said my ball joints & CV joint are all good for at least another year of hard driving. Firestone is one of those places that will tell you something is wrong with your car just to make money off of you... BEWARE OF FIRESTONE

I sent someone to buy a tire and was quote two different tires, One for $40 for the tire. and one for $47. I requested the $40 tire carryout for an economy tire. I was charged $47 for the tire that was quoted $40. When I called, the representative told me they were too busy to deal with that right now and that I should worry about it after the new year in a few days. It will be a few years and a new crew before I consider calling again.

Gave them the opportunity to give me a two separate repair estimates on two separate occasions. They never called with the estimates. Apparently they have plenty of work.

Stay Away!!! when we took my fiancé car there they wanted us to spend $1800 in front end parts they said the struts were broken but we got a second opinion at Lakeside Auto who we trust and they said the struts are fine that we needed some other front end stuff but at 1/3 the cost of what this place tried to rob us of! ... always get a second opinion!!

When part of my cars problem was determined to be a weak battery, Matt and Nate took the time to contact the non-Firestone Store three hours away to ask them to honor the warranty on the 18-month-old battery. I had recently moved and wasnt certain of the exact location of the original batterys invoice. I was impressed that they would take the time to go that extra mile. I will be recommending this store to all my friends.

Had me wait 2 hours on thursday to end up telling me that they didn’t know I was waiting (IN THEIR LOBBY) and it wouldn’t be done today, drop it off friday and pick it up and they managed to scratch the hell out of all 4 rims just by doing a balance and rotate. If you care about your car, don’t take it here.

Took my car in for an oil change. I specifically asked if they included topping off fluids ^ the guy on the phone assured me all fluids would be topped off if they needed it. I asked because I could hear my power steering whining especially on cold start ups. I left their shop I could hear a small whine still & it was very loud & apparent the next morning. So, on my way home the next day I bought some fluid & put it in myself & have no more noise from ny power steering. I wont go back for I can;t trust them to do what they promise.

This Firestone store this store is pretty good Im really not a fan of most of them but this store does not try to sell you things you do not need the prices could be better but thats everywhere I do recommend them if you want to get some honest repairs for your car

I went in for a bad wheel bearing and was told it wasnt the wheel bearing it was some type of axle. Well after replacing the axle that they told me was bad it ended up being the wheel bearing that I said it was. So i replaced and paid for a part i didnt even need and when i complained about it the store associate brought it out to me at least 5 mins later after Im sure he made sure he broke it to protect his service technician who obviously misdiagnosed my problem. I will never go here again and to make matters worse this whole ordeal took 5 hours cause some idiot brought the wrong axle part which Im sure i never needed in the first place. Very shady all around. Next!!

Terrible. They take your money and you can’t even be sure they did anything! My brakes are just as bad as they were before.

I make an appointment on Thursday for sunday afternoon, and they want me to leave my car overnight. An appointment means you service my car at a pre-agreed upon time and date. Dont offer appointments if you cant honor them.

***Edit*** I will still never use Firestone again, but Nate (the real store manager), at the mentor location, was very helpful and did exactly what he said he was going to do.**This place is going to get someone killed**Approximately 2 weeks ago, my husband brought his truck in to Firestone Auto in Mentor for a wheel alignment. We paid the money and left. Today, 11/27/18, my husband noticed a huge wrench (from Firestone) hanging from his drive axle boot and the boot halfway falling off. We called Firestone and spoke to Adam who stated that they would fix it, refund us our money, and get us a rental until they could fix it. Ok. Thats fine. When we brought the truck up there he refunded us the money, but stated that they would no longer fix the bearing because it was a pre existing problem. Our drive axel boot was FINE as there have been no issues up until this point. The drive axel boot was fine when it went in for routine maintenance 1 week prior to this incident. I am completely disgusted by this because it could have potentially hurt our kids if the drive axel boot would have fallen off while one of us was driving the truck. I would highly recommend using another company to fix any and everything for your vehicle!

Service is constantly trying to add work that may or may not be needing to be done. Good mechanics though, and the warranty holds up without many questions.

Technicians seem to hurry through things. Was told outter tie rods were bad after I replaced them, when upon further inspection it was my inner tie rods that were faulty. Had to reorder parts twice cause of someone not knowing what to look for. I showed person up in front that outter tie rods were good and he go the worst attitude with me telling me I was wrong. Its b.s. Allignment prices ok. Have no trust.

Went to get a wheel alignment,picked up the truck next day in the morning,get in start the car ..it sounds funny im thinking maybe the engine is cold, i wait5 minutes to let it warm up, the car is idling very rough,i decided to drive away thinking is cold engine and will warm up,i get on the road and im waiting on the traffic light, suddenly the car stalls,so i turn it back on and i pull over somewhere, pop the hood open i find out the air filter is thrown in the engine bay like is trash and the cover is missing,drove back to the store,and i explain to the front desk dude that the air filter cover is missing from my car, hes telling me that the wheel alignment has nothing to do with that,and that they didnt even had to open the hood to perform the alignment,i already know that...I insist that he goes and ask one of the guys inside if they had moved the air cover from my car ....goes inside looks in the trash bin somewhere and comes out with my air cover trying to make some sense why they threw it out, this dude cant even put the cover back in place,one of the mechanics came out to put it back in place.I know my work truck is not pretty,but is a Cadillac to me,this is how i make a living,another thing the evening guy said $80.00 for wheel aligment,the young dude said $100.00,another way to rip $20bucks.
