I favor locally owned businesses & have always given this convenient store my business since living in this area. Folks are friendly & generous about checking & adjusting air pressure as well as about minor tire repairs. Unfortunately, they are not always able to order in every type & brand of tire you may want. Sometimes their costs for obtaining your particular tires may be $100 or more over the price for the same tires at Walmart or Costco. However their costs are generally in line with other tire stores that are not affiliated with giant national retail chains .Unless you need something quite particular, check with Tire O first.

Big O Tires in Meridian is the place for tires. They have every option one needs. I have purchased from them for years. Each time I buy new tires for my cars and truck I go to three tire stores and get quotes to find the best option and the best pricing. Big O has the best pricing every time. I still go to the others each time to get quotes, just because I like best deals. But each time I end up driving on Big O tires-because they ALWAYS beat the competition. The best price and the best tire—every time. They are friendly and offer honest, personal, professional service.

Fantastic service. I was in and out in less the 30 minutes. Honest and hard working. I made the mistake of first going to to Les Scwab where they told me it couldnt be fixed. I need 4 new tires. I took it to Big Os for a second opinion and didnt say anything, I wanted honest unbiased opinion. Next thing I knew my tire was fixed, my questions were answered. Ive been going there for over 15 years they do all my family vehicles Ive had issues with them in the past and even then they handled it appropriately thats why i still go there today.. Plus the counter guys are the same for so many years its like you know them. Its not some new kid every time you walk in.. So that makes it nice..

I accidently over filled my oil so of coarse I was worried about it, I stopped in for an oil change to correct the problem and was told Id need an appointment for that, so he let me drive away obviously knowing my engine could get hurt, I went right down the street to Jiffy Lube, they were very helpful and gave me an oil change with a smile, its to bad, in Utah I always used big o but looks like here in Idaho Ill go elsewhere.

Marco and Ryan have always taken such good care of my truck. I had recently taken it to Peterson Dodge in Nampa to have the electric rear slider fixed. I had an 8a appointment, dropped my truck off and 8 hours later not only was the one thing I asked them to fix not done, they cam back with over $4000 in upselling for things I mostly didnt even need. Every time I have ever taken my truck there it has been an ordeal, bad experiences, several comebacks for things they said they fixed but didnt. After 10 years, I am SO done! Big O Tire did a fantastic 21 point inspection complete with test strips on fluids, etc. It was done in a timely fashion and when I was told it would be...they are SO much more than just a tire store! Thank you for putting your customer before the almighty dollar! 😁😁😁

Meridian Idaho Big O is definitely the place to go! I just wanted to get my tire aired up, I knew I needed to get it fixed. Being 5:30 on a Friday night, I didnt think they would have time. The gentlemen were more than happy to do it. Wake up on this Sunday morning to snow, sure glad they fixed it. Ill definitely stick with Meridian Big O!

I love Big O! This location has a very friendly staff who seem to know what theyre doing. I went to get an alignment done the other day for my 2006 Hummer H3, and they charge a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, they werent able to complete the alignment since it required a special tool they didnt have, but they were honest and did make what they could with what they had available to slightly improve it. They didnt charge me for anything and the gentleman I spoke with, who was also the one doing the alignment, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with. When I need new tires, wheels, or any other work done that they offer a service for, I will be a returning customer!

These guys are great. Had a sidewall flat on a tire with road hazard warranty purchased out-of-state. Within less than an hour the original store faxed a copy of the invoice/contract, a used tire was mounted on the rim so we didnt have to drive for a week on the donut while waiting for the new replacement. Now thats service!

The guys at Big O are great, friendly, courteous & nice they take the time to work with you and will show you things and you can bounce ideas back and forth for alternative solutions that most other shops wont take the time to do. On the flip side of that coin it kind of sucks they had to take the kettle style popcorn popper out of the lobby with all this nonsense going on cuz its really good popcorn, good thing I have a kettle style popper at home 🙃🙃 ..

Fantastic customer service!I came in fairly late in the afternoon on a busy day and not only did they manage to get me an amazing price but they also took care of me incredibly quickly. Within 1.5hrs I had two of my tires replaced as well as a full alignment and tire rotation done and was able to pick my vehicle up with no issues whatsoever.

Good value on tires. Purchased the in-house brand tires for my van today and they handle surprisingly well. Smooth ride. Excellent price.Very prompt. When I went in it was later in the afternoon and they were able to take care of me, despite the sense they were busy and closing was in a little over an hour.

Our daughter’s car needed new tires and I’ll be honest, we are typically loyal to Costco’s exceptional pricing and service on tires. BUT Costco didn’t have the tires we needed in stock. We started calling and visiting every tire shop in Meridian and Boise. I am so happy we called Big O! They had a much higher grade of tire for an equal price. The gentleman we worked with was very knowledgeable, friendly and exceptionally professional. In under 45 minutes we had an awesome set of new tires for a great price.

I came in at 5:40 pm with my flat tire in the trunk. Ugh. I was going to drop off my Big O tire for repair and pick it up the next day. But Noooooooooooooo, these wonderful guys took my tire and my keys and said, No problem maam we will fix your flat tire, put it back on and youll be all set in twenty minutes! I had a flat tire and took my car in to have it assessed. Unfortunately it was damaged beyond repair. I told Kaleb my dilemma is that I am taking my family to Oregon in 2 weeks and need a couple tires that will get us there safely. I have put so much money into brakes, belts & water pump. I didnt budget for this. He was very understanding and told me he would do what he could to help. Kaleb went through every tire he had and found two used tires in mint condition which cost me only $90.00. I am so very grateful for Kaleb and the Big O family! They went above and beyond to take care of me.

Friendly and affordable. When I price checked all the local tire shops, Big O had the best prices on a new set of studded winter tires. They gave me great service at a great price, and did a free flat repair on one of my old summer tires too.

We had been going to Big O in Meridian since we moved to Meridian in 1994, and had always been very pleased with the service we received. We always recommended Big O to friends, confident they would only be quoted what was needed, nothing more. We still feel that way, but after our last experience we have taken our business elsewhere, i.e. new tires and brakes for our car most recently. We had new struts put on our 2010 Traverse back in February of 2018 by Big O. I know, why wait until now to post a review. Its because every day that I drive the car I am reminded of my displeasure with the service we received. Every since the day we got the car back, there has been a rattle in the front drivers side. My husband took the car back to explain that we are hearing this rattle, and he told them to drive it and they would hear it. When he picked the car up he was told they couldnt find anything that would be causing the rattle and in fact they didnt hear it. A few months later, after this driving us both nuts, me mostly since I drive it 90% of the time, and have to go through a large parking lot slowly every day at work (which is the only time you hear the rattle), I took it in myself and explained we are still hearing the rattle, which began as soon as we had the struts replaced. I told Kevin that you can only hear it when you drive slowly through a parking lot, or similar situations. Kevin took it back, looked it over, drove it I think, and came back to tell me that he didnt hear a rattle, and couldnt find nothing that THEY did which would cause a rattle. In other words, not our problem or we must be hearing things. I asked him if he took it out to drive, slowly, like I explained to him, and he said he had. We take our car to be serviced where we bought it, Dennis Dillon. When we explained the rattle situation to them when we took it in for an oil change, they searched high and low, went above and beyond, and did find where the drivers side strut nut was a little loose and they tightened it up for us at no cost, and we had no rattle for about six months, until it started doing the exact same thing again. Needless to say, we havent been back to Big O since February 2018, other than the two times when they couldnt hear the rattle and couldnt find the problem that has been driving us nuts for a year and a half.11/2/19: No response back yet from the owner’s request for more information.

Pros: Love my tires. They had the best price in town for what I was looking for. The guy who helped me was nice.Cons: I take really good care of my truck and have it taken in and checked out all the time have only had one issue with it ever. I take it in for my tires and they tell me that my control arm has gone bad in my truck. Say its $350 to fix. My dad says they dont have a bad reputation around town and they are probably telling me the truth. I go ahead and fix it and the next day after I get it back my check engine light comes on. I put in my obd2 reader and it says I need to replace my throttle control sensor. So after buying tires 2 things mysteriously goes wrong with my truck. Not sure if saving the $100 bucks on tires was worth going to them to now have all these issues arise.I will continue to go to get my tires aligned and rotated through these tires but will probably not buy from them again or fix what they say needs done without taking it to another mechanic first to check out.

The definition of integrity is “doing the right thing, even when nobody would know the difference.” Marco and Big O lived up to that definition. I was quoted one price for replacing a flat and having an alignment done. Marco called me soon after with a MORE AFFORDABLE option on TWO TIRES and an alignment! Not just a “better value” that would cost more, but an actual CHEAPER alternative. Big O earned my business permanently. Even better than the service and price was the fact that I wasn’t subjected to 120 questions requiring tons of personal information just to make a purchase. Thanks Marco and Big O for your professionalism. You are my go-to shop from now on.

We’ve always had great experiences with this location. Guys are super friendly and professional. I feel like they don’t try to sell me stuff I don’t need too, which is something I really appreciate since I don’t know squat about vehicles. I trust these guys every time I have an issue. Even just checking out a potential issue is on the house if they can’t find a problem. They’re my first choice every time 👍

I had a less than great experience at this establishment, I normally go to the Big O in Boise downtown but ended up having my car towed to this location. I normally have great experiences with Big O tires in general but this let me down so so much. I had work done on my car and they called me to let me know I could pick it up whenever I was ready. I did not get off of work till late that day so the person I spoke with let me know that he would leave my car locked and my keys in my car and to use a spare to get in. This was 100% just fine with me. Though when I drove all the way to Meridian from Boise to pick up my car I noticed it was ON when I pulled up to it. Once I unlocked the door to my car I found that is was left on WITH MUSIC playing as well. This totally killed my battery and I was not even able to jump my car to take it home. I went in the next morning to explain the situation and I dont believe I was even told Sorry for the inconveniences. They did however take it to the back and charge it all day for me but I just do NOT feel that I was taken care of or that they really cared that this happened. Just a huge bummer when I normally get such great service.

I went in for an alignment. I have a 24 year old suburban and I just replaced several parts on my front end. It took a little longer but they did a fantastic job and I also observed the super pleasant way they treated their customers. I would recommend their shop to anyone.

Excellent prompt and honest service. Wanted a front end alignment and was told it was not needed. Had to tow there and thought my alternator had failed, but they determined it was only a bad battery. Refreshing to see that business model in todays world. Highly recommended.

I had them fix a flat tire at work changed it to the spare. Of course the tools and the spare needed to go back underneath. When done with the flat repair. They were calm, cool, friendly and professional...even put away the jack, tools and spare underneath. Very quick and price unreasonable!

BigO would never receive less than 5 stars from me! Marco set me up with 4 new BigO Bigfoot tires and inspected my alignment and suspension. Everything looked great and my ride has been great ever since.

Took my new Subaru to have the tires rotated and oil changed. Themechanic did not finish the job!!! My engine is blown and now fighting with thier insurance. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING BUT TIRES FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! IM NOW RESPONSIBLE FOR A NEW ENGINE. IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE I WOULD.

Only place I trust for my brakes and tires. They have never steered me wrong and price is always good.

Came in with a slow leak. I was told bar code sticker in bead was the cause. Big O tire A/T, top of the line tire and they cant even take the time to remove stickers. I paid for top of the line tire so that I would not have issues like this. I have an artificial knee and changing a flat tire is a bigger deal for me than for most men. Wasted my time and acted like it was no big deal. I feel sorry for all of the people that do not have free flat repair service on their tires. Sounds like a scam to make extra money on flat repairs to me.

I took my truck into Big O Tires as I replaced my inner and outer tie rods and upper and lower ball joints. On May 5th I called Big O and explained what I did and they told me that the alignment would be $59.95 and I could drop it off at any point that day. I headed over to Big O and of course my alignment was terrible and so I again explained the situation and even showed them a picture that my steering wheel was turned to the side in order to go straight, I was again told that it would be $59.95 to align it. Fast forward 6 hours and I drop off my wife to pick up my Silverado and she called me a few minutes later. She informed me that the invoice showed $59.95 but it was crossed out and $79.95 was written in its placed. She told me that the tech informed her that he had called me and verified it was okay which was a lie. She also informed me that he said that with how far out my alignment was that they couldnt get it perfectly straight. I then proceeded to call Big O and I was transferred to the tech that did my alignment and he said that due to how far out my alignment was that he was charging me the extra and I couldnt do anything about it. I asked him why I wasnt called to verify this but he refused to answer my question and eventually hung up. I then called back and demanded to speak to the Manager and I explained him the situation, he informed me that the tech said he called me and verified it was okay which was a lie. I informed the manager of this and he ended up refunding me the extra $20 that was charged. A few minutes later my wife called me again, she had turned into our neighborhood and my truck started to violently shake so she pulled off to the side. I immediately headed her way and crawled under my truck to see that my drivers side outer tie rod end nut was missing and so of course my tie rod end popped out. I looked at the tie rod end on the other side and that nut was loose and of course no cotter pins were inserted to help hold them. I called the shop back and I was told that it was not there problem. I am very grateful that the tie rod end popped out when my wife was going just a few miles an hour instead of being on the freeway as someone would have more than likely been killed. I then had to order a new tie rod end nut online, rendering my truck useless for 4 days and my alignment is not very straight either so I am going to have to take it to another shop and get it aligned again. I am blown away at my mistreatment at your shop as I have never been treated in such an awful way.I love how the business owner also wants me to contact him. I tried several times and never got a response back.

Had a brake job scheduled and previously was told by ford that I needed to have my brakes and rotors replaced since I only had 3mm left on the brakes according to Ford. I brought in my car to Big O Tire where they took my car in and told me the brakes are fine and have at least 60% life on them, amazing and honest people this is my new go to shop for anything my cars need.

These guys are great. Been taking my car here for years to get oil changes and tires. When my brakes were squeaking they checked them. Cleaned out the dust. Every honest.

The manager was great. He helped us get a better deal than I was originally after. There was an employee in the back with a terrible attitude yelling and screaming about having to do his job a few minutes past closing time.

I bought new tires here. They were fast, afordable, and professional. They also had a good selection in stock.

Worst experience ever! Took the car in to have the left bearing replaced, the mechanic instead replaced the one on the right without calling or telling me before he did it. I had my mom pick up the car and also for him to tell me he thinks the transmission has issues because the car takes a while to get going when it is my daily driver and Ive never had any problems with it being my daily driver from Boise to Homedale since I bought it brand new off the lot 9 years ago.

The gentleman named Mike help me out tremendously help me get my car repaired and down the road in under an hour thanks to Big Os tires Im still keeping people safe thanks Mike
