I came in with a laptop hinge that was broken. They were able to order the part and fix the lap top. It was needed for work dropped it off on Friday and had it back by Saturday evening. They were very knowledgeable and professional I would definitely recommend them.

When I initially made an appointment, I requested the RVC store, it just so happened that my appointment was made with the Merrick store. Rather than have the location switched, I decided to go with the flow… and I’m so thankful I did. The welcome was warm and inviting. Matthew’s customer service was impeccable. Elissa’s personality was personable and made me feel like real comfortable as I waited for my device to be fixed. I have to say I would be happy to recommend this location. They went above and beyond to find me the perfect case for my phone as well and my devices looked brand spanking new when they were done!!! I regret not bringing my previous broken devices here!

LCD on my phone decides to break one night, took it to Samsung next morning cause I needed my phone for work, Samsung was backed up with a line of customers so they couldnt look at my phone but was recommended uBreakiFix by the employees. For a cell phone repair business, they were very welcoming. As soon as I walked it, they were responsive, listened to my problems with my phone, and told me how they would fix it. I’m Extremely surprised of how long they’ve lasted with these atrocious management skills.My biggest mistake of this decade has been walking into this place for servicing.Just to emphasize how bad of an experience I had.I wish I could say this is an isolated situation But I’m afraid that’s not the case as I’ve spoken with other customers the few times that I’ve been there.They charged me over 30% of the value of my device for the serviceOther techs like Best Buy and game stop were charging a lot less to repair but longer wait time which is what drove me to make the decision of going to a local tech even though they were charging more I needed the repair ASAP, but boy oh boy was i in for a surprise!I got so many excuses as to why they still Hadn’t finished repairing my device and got postponed so many times that I was left with little choice but to buy a new deviceIn the month span, no one ever reached out to call I always had to call to check the status of the repair and they never had a legitimate answer as to when the repair would be finished.Fast forward almost a month in, after I’ve completely given up, I receive a call from the manager with an update expressing her apologies and stating that I would receive a new device and that she would hand it to me personally which never happen. I went into the store to pick up my device replacement because they had damaged my original far beyond repair after just going in for a simple service. New device! Only problem is the device held a special place in my heart, sentimental value which can’t be replace because I receive it as a gift from my battle buddy who past away while we toured Iraq. I’m beyond heart Broken. Usually don’t leave reviews unless I have something nice to say but today that changed.I will conclude with Hopes that this message helps someone make a logic decision when I comes to deciding who you trust with your most meaningful belongings and also hope this message serves a purpose in instilling work ethic, some values and principles in the individuals that We’re responsible for the destruction of my property.

7 1 2021. I was so blessed to learn about this store and I Thank God for the outcome. I had a severe problem with my phone that Google and Samsung tried to help me out with as Im not very knowledgeable with this cell phone and didnt want to make matters worst. Samsung referred me to this Merrick store, I called and the customer service I received from Matthew made me feel so comfortable & very pleasantly spoken I then knew I was going to a good store. Once I got there, as I was so nervous. He was very attentive and knowledgeable of my Galaxy 8+. Mathew explained all to me about the phone and the password/system problem I was having.He explained all to his associate Draconia. inwhich she heard all of my worries & concerns. Outstanding experience working with this business! Im a mom with three kids 8 thru 17yrs its important that everyone has a working commuication device. At a low cost I needed to transform an old phone into a new one for my 14yr old who had gone thru 2 phones. I must say that I really never cared much for larger companies like this one, but the staff at UBIF has really turned me around. My journey with UBIF started in the Deer Park store. It’s a long story, so I’ll try to spare you the details.I had the screen of my phone replaced around early November 2020, by a tall guy named Chris in the Deer Park store (they have 2 Chris’ working there). They did a great job taking care of it, but I’m a bit rough with my phones, so shortly after the 100 day warranty expired, my screen became undone. I took it back and they immediately fixed it without a question.Around 2 weeks ago - end of April 2021, my screen malfunctioned and went completely black, most likely due to me being rough again. By this time I had moved to Bellmore and I ended up in the Merrick store being tended to by Elissa.There was an issue with my original work order (created in Deer Park) that prevented her from honoring the new warranty. Mind you, at this point, I am a little more than 200 days after the initial work.She was a little hesitant, but Elissa looked out for me. She pointed me in the right direction, we called Deer Park and straightened everything out.By then it was almost closing time. Instead of making me wait another day, she stayed a little late and fixed my phone herself.Both stores are good in my book. Even with the mix up in Deer Park I was thoroughly taken care of. Based on the timeline alone they could have easily ignored my requests, made me pay extra and had me wait additional time for my repair.None of that happened. Thanks for liking out guys.Also, thanks to the rest of the staff as well. I spoke with additional people over the phone and in person at both stores that I can recall their names. But I will definitely remember their quality of service. You have a customer for life.

This place is AWESOME went in to just ask questions about my device and walked out with a whole protection plan that covers all my devices in my home. Now I can get my daughters iPad fixed for $99 with my Home plus sign up. I LOVE this place! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. You must try them out!

The UBREAKIFIX store at 2012 Merrick Rd Merrick was willing and patient to help me with this issue. My phone looks just like it did out of the box. Samsung S21 Ultra 5G. My good initial experience unfortunately took a back seat to the situations that occurred after that. When doing business follow through is extremely important. Ensuring your customers satisfaction, going a step above in this world, and doing whatever it takes is a necessity. Your job doesnt finish until the job is completed. A simple call immediately when you realized the other store didnt have the case, or the second time we had an issue when the case took longer to arrive and we got the protector only or the third time when I had to call you to find out if there case arrived yet that the order had been cancelled.! You asked if I got your message, but there was no message or missed call. You have my number correct, I confirmed it the last time. In 2 weeks time I could have gone another route if you were just upfront rather than me not letting my child use her ipad since she didnt have a case as we waited.

Brought my phone in for a new battery at 10:00 am. Received a text at noon, phone is ready. Came in at 1:00 was told that they broke the home button and now it is 4:00. I call and was told it was ready again. After arriving again at 4:20 i was told that it still is not ready. Will never use them again. Whole day wasted waiting around for a call that never came. Was also told that they would deliver it to me. But obviously that wasn’t going to happen. Very poor service. 👎👎👎

Dropped off my Samsung Note 10 at 1030am for a cracked screen and a card replacement. 3 hours they told me.. Had a phone conversation with a Representative from the store at 430pm and he told me it will be done in 30 min. I arrive at the store at 630pm. He then tells me the tech is running some last test it will be done in a couple of minutes. At 7pm the manager comes how out and ask for pin to access the phone they still have to run some more test..NEGATIVE ZERO. Unfortunately theres no negative zero... NEVER AGAIN.

I had to get my MacBook fixed and I was having such a terrible day after dropping it. I am a teacher and that computer is everything to me in times like these with COVID and social distances. I was frantic. From the moment I walked into to such friendly smiling faces who were sympathetic to my situation helped me with my computer and protection on my other electronics at home.

This place is literally awesome! Not only did they help me over the phone where they could have simply said oh bring it in and well charge you, but they were real people and tried to help me over the phone and what they told me to do worked like a charm. I was on the phone with the stores manager Alyssa and she Googled a YouTube video on how to do it as well as using her own knowledge. She combined them telling me what to do and helped me. My stylus was stuck half inside my phone and half had broken off. I just wanted to give the review that anyone who needs their phone to be fixed with honesty or wants to deal with people that actually care about other people rather than trying to gouge them, they should call/go to uBreakiFix, in Merrick. I couldnt be happier with their professionalism and courtesy. They charged nothing to do what they did for me and earlier in my phones life they also replace the whole screen for free, under a Samsung warranty and did a Flawless job. So you guys who are having any phone issues, Id feel totally safe bringing my iphone, android to U Break I Fix in Merrick, happy holidays to all.

1. The store advertises fixing of cracked screen while you wait. They had 1 person working there who told me that it will take at least 3 hours because they are backed up.2. I was supposed to be called when the phone was fixed. Nobody called.3. I went to the store 1 hour before closing. They already closed and left me without a phone!4. Next day they said they called the number I gave them and left VM (I had no missed calls and no messages). When I asked them what number they called, they just responded very rude saying.. anyway, the phone is fixed! you can come pick it up5. I went to pick it up and they still kept telling me the same excuse but would not tell me what number they tried calling.6. I went to their google reviews and noticed other people had the same experience as we did.

The workers are nice and friendly here. I spoke to the manager when I came in and he was very informative. My repair was done in about an hour and my phone looks good as new!

They closed the store 1 hour early and left my wife without a phone! No phone call to let us know if it’s ready or anything! She was too busy and told us it would take 3 hours to fix a cracked screen.. Unreal! All I get is a Voicemail when I call.I was told the next day that they called and left VM. I asked them what number they called because I did not see any calls or VM and the guy with a rude answer said .. anyway, the phone is ready. you can come get it.. I made a complaint with Assurion so that they dont send more business to these people.

I made an appointment to have my phone repaired a week in advance for my only day off, received an email confirmation about my appointment. When I went to show up for the appointment the store was closed. Lights off and doors locked. I tried calling the number and a voicemail picked up. I left my name and number and told them what happened, that I lived locally and really needed the repair. It has been a few days and no one called me back or reached out to me on any way. No apology, no trying to get me rescheduled just silence and no effort.

They replaced the battery in my iphone7 (2 yrs old) and figured out why I was having problems with the recharging cable not connecting properly with the phone—lint build up! Very satisfied with their honestly, their reasonable price for a new battery and all was done in less than one hour. Highly recommend them!!!

Had them come to my house to fix the cracked screen and they broke the speaker and microphone. I did go back to the store and they wanted nothing to do with it. Told me to call the insurance company. Lucky it was covered under the insurance, ended up with a new phone.
