Oh man, what a great little stop in our way south. The parking lot smells like gummy bear. Amazing selection and imagine...fresh gummy bears never stored with other flavors, so good! Seasonal items and tons of chocolate to boot! Will be back!

First time here. Totally love the layout of the store. Very nice employees, clean bathroom (will get back to this)...Lots of goodies to choose from!!Dont come here if your dieting.So the bathroom sink was kind of cool.In my picture, you will see a faucet to the left, thats a soap dispenser, the middle is of course water, and to the right, thats your own personal hand dryer....never in my life have I seen a setup like this, over the top cool, plus the light in the sink constantly changes color.The only thing I wish this place had was a factory tour, but they dont do those.Oh, and one more thing if you wear a face mask for safety. This store doesnt make people wear a mask, so since I do wear one, I made sure that I was always 6 feet away from anyone else.

Great place, very colorful, friendly and helpful staff. And oh so many choices to choose from. Decent prices. Its a shame that they no longer do factory tours. We always heard how great they were. We will definitely come back to try more of the delicious candy. You should definitely check this place out.

Wow! We came here with all the kiddos and we paid for it - should’ve seen that coming! Too much candy. Too much fun stuff to buy. Too many temptations. Mom and dad turned into kids again and filled up the shopping basket. Here we come dentist! Should also mention the staff was very friendly and customer-focused. Much appreciated.

Best Gummy Bears in the world! Every flavor including sours. Got a 5lb bag for my coworkers, they loved it! Chocolate is great here too. Chocolate covered pretzels are awesome. Well worth a stop at this factory store.

This place is amazing!! It is now a must stop for my family if we are traveling through Chicago. Be prepared for a massive candy overload when you go in. Your sweet tooth will be sweet on you after coming here.

Didnt get to truly enjoy it, Was a pit stop on our way to Michigan City. But was everything I expected. The family cant wait to go on the tour of the facility. If you enjoy these amazing gummies definitely a must visit.

Albanese Candy Factory is amazing! I felt as if I had entered Willie Wonkas Imagination Room! All the associates were quite friendly, and willing to give samples to better help in my selection. My Son and I drove up from Lafayette, and it was well worth the trip. Well definitely be going back!

Sweet tooth HEAVEN!!! They have so many goodies here, you can always find Something just for you. Even Sugar Free, of that is your thing. Those gummy bears are the BEST!!!

My daughter and I love Albanese! Theres nothing like fresh gummy bears to make her day. I like the maple creams and the dark chocolate caramels. The atmosphere there is simple and you can smell the fresh candy coming straight from the factory. Yum! This is also a great place to go to at Christmas time.

Easy in and out. Great selection of Albanese and other manufactures candies. Only drawback was a lot of packaged candies being pawed at by kids and then returned back to shelves. In all fairness that could happen anywhere. ⁰ Otherwise a great place.

This is the best place to visit if you love candy and treats. This was a sisters day out so we planned a trip here. It was really crowded but, they had a lot of staff on hand to help customers. We didnt have to wait long for someone to assist us. They were professional and knowledgeable about the different candies and asked us if we wanted samples. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. Thanks for the great experience.

My kids were in awe as they walked in. It was bright and colorful for the kids. I appreciated the cleanliness and the hospitality. Although it was busy, the staff was readily available to help. Face 😷 masks were required for entry. There was no specific flow for patrons to follow so, there also was little social distancing. Attempting to control the flow through the store would have negatively impacted our experience in my opinion. We loved visiting Albanese as a family. Next time we will visit the main location and we cant wait.

Yesterday was my first time visiting this store and I felt like a tourist. 😆 When I entered the store, the fragrance of the candies smell filled the entire place. Beautiful fall and Halloween decors. Super clean store. Free gummy bears/candies for you to try before purchasing. I bought my favorite gummi peach rings for myself and a chocolate filled pumpkin pie pop for my hubby. I didn’t go crazy there and that’s what I bought and that’s enough sugar for us. 😍 I recommended this place if you are a gummy bears and chocolate lover. You won’t disappointed.

Its a ton of different types of candy, freshly made right there, in a pretty massive factory....It was absolutely yummy and I was in awe of how many kinds of delicious candy were right in front of me! The saltwater taffy that I bought a pound of, yes you can buy candy literally by the pound, was the best Ive ever had, and thats my favorite sweet in the world!!! Right here is the best treats!!!

I found it whimsical that the shop was a little house attached to the enormous factory. The selection of treats was almost overwhelming. The staff were delightful.

Cant believe it took me this long to actually visit the retail shop. Its HUGE!!!! No need to worry if your favorite candy is in stock. They have you covered. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bringing the kids with me next time I visit.

I still love this place. I live in AZ now. Just came back and they still have all my favorites! They are charging a lot more for Buck Eyes but other than that, its still awesome!

It is amazing. Mostly filled with candy but also items like cups and key chains.You can ask the employees for samples of the gummies in the back and you can see part of the candy making progress. Overall a amazing place that everyone should go to if you have a sweet tooth.

Visiting here was not planned at all. Saw signs for it on the highway and had to go. We were not disappointed! Not only do they offer the best gummy bears, they have a large selection of chocolates! The double dipped dark chocolate peanuts were my favorite! They also have $8 goof up gummy bags! Will definitely visit when in the area!

Always a great experience the staff is always willing to help and we had the best customer service when it came to helping us with either trying almost all types of candy or suggestions. Plus the updated interior was very nice. It was sad that they changed it to where you couldnt watch the candy being made through the windows like they used to though but not a deal breaker cause fun was had by all.

The new layout is very efficient. I do miss the Choclate Tube Running up the middle of the store and the small but cool tour. The new bathrooms are a very welcome addition.

Let me just say this Kid In A Candy Store! Its every kids dream to just be allowed to go into a store and try out every candy in sight like a kid in the movie Charlie and The Chocolate Factory! You can literally try about 95% of the candies at the counter from chocolate covered pretzels to spur gummy worms to good old fashioned liquorice! Theres candy from every generation in this building to bring out the kid in everyone at all ages! You can buy prepackaged candies, and more fresh candies you buy per pound from 1/4 pound to....well lets just say I havent been limited yet! Definitely recommended if youre visiting in the area, passing through the area or just need good road trip!

Albanese is a very good place to go for candy. Most of the candy is sold by the pound. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I like going there for the candy I used to get as a child.

Take the time to stop here. It is sparkling clean and the chocolate is not only delicious, but made without fake additives. Samples are free for the asking and served by friendly staff. Lots more candy than chocolate too. Check out the old fashioned candy from yesterday, plus bin after bin of candy in all colors and gummy bears. This is a place for smiling, and who doesnt need that! 😃

Who does love a candy factory. You just feel joy as soon as the smell of the gummies and chocolates hits your nose. It was a fun time. I will be back.

They need to use a number system to wait on customers. I stood waiting while people who just came in were waited on before me. I got some chocolates, when I told the young man waiting on me that I wanted some gummies, he told me I had to go stand in line by the gummies, he could only do chocolates. Then the girl serving the gummies went over to serve chocolates. Quite frustrating, I left without getting any gummies. Then stood in a long check out line. Not a good experience today.

Like walking back into childhood! Definite Willy Wonka feel. Great design all the way down to the bathroom sinks. Free samples! So many great choices in candy. We had a hard time coming away with less than $50 in selections. Did I mention FREE SAMPLES!!!

It was ok but they took the chocolate fountain out and you cant look through the windows into the factory any more.

So, weve driven up and down 65 passing the billboards for years. We finally decided to make a stop for the tour. I even looked up tour information for groups (reservations required) and self-guided tours.Needless to say we were disappointed in the tour part of this factory. It consists of an elevated walkway with windows that look onto the factory floor. There is a button for you to push and a few videos play.If this is what we were expecting, then no problem. But I was expecting a factory tour experience like others Ive been on. They really need to call this a candy store and oh, by the way, there are some windows with a view to our factory. Calling this a factory tour is a STRETCH.We bought some candy, which was fine. I would not go back and I wouldnt recommend you drive miles off the highway for this. Stop at the Speedway gas station and get a bag of gummy bears. You arent missing much.

Woot! :) Dont discredit the place entirely, but I probably wouldnt drive for just them.
